Anna stiffened her heart nearly explored with the news. It was suddenly so hard to breath. "I'm going with you."

"You don't have to." He knew that wasn't going to stop her, even if he preferred for her not to be involved. "I just want to see what he is going to do. I want to know what he's planning for himself...for me...."

"If I go, he's less likely to hit you. Though, I'll have my camera phone if he does. I'm going to bring him down." She turned to him. "We can go whenever you want to."

He smiled. She was a feisty one with a strong spirit. "I think it'll be best if we wait till tomorrow. I know I need to speak to him, but I'm not quite ready yet." His smile fell slightly as his free arm rubbed his cast.

Anna moved her hand over his on his cast. "I can't promise I won't be mean to him. If he tries anything, Jun, I think I will end up trying to kill him. Of course I'll fail miserably, but at least I'll get a few hits in." And paused and looked at their hands, her eyes completely away from his face. "I don't think I can bear seeing you so hurt again. It was my fault you ended up like this in the first place."

Jun shook his head. "No, it's my fault. I was the one who put myself into a position such as this. Please don't blame yourself." He ran his thumb over her hand, a small smile on his lips.

"A situation?" she asked looking him in the eyes. "Jun, I'm the one that took off my shirt and kissed you. And it was my ex boyfriend that posted the picture online," she said. "How in the world is that your fault of being pushed into that situation?"

"I invited you to spend the night, knowing that if anyone found out it wouldn't end well. If I hadn't done that, I wouldn't have been there when you needed someone; and none of this would have occurred. Therefore it is my fault."

Anna took her hands from him. "I didn't need someone, Jun. I just chose the wrong way to end Brandon and me." The way he said that made her seem so desperate. Did she come off that way?

"I didn't mean it like that," he told her, surprised at how she acted. "It's just that if I hadn't been there, the idea probably wouldn't have even crossed your mind to end it with Brandon as you did."

"Well, I don't blame you for it. I blame myself," she said. She was about to reach for his hand again when the front door opened and she stood. "Mom!"

Anna ran to her mother and hugged her tightly. "Oh, Anna Bo Bana!" her mother said holding her close. "Don't you ever worry me like that again!" She turned to Jun. "And you must be Jun." Anna closed the door and locked it as her mother hugged Jun to her. "You poor thing! You poor poor thing! Well, you are safe now, little Jun!"

"Mom, you are suffocating him," Anna groaned.

Her mom let go of him and started stroking his hair. "You gave him some cream right?" Anna nodded. "And I'll give him some herbal tea to make him feel better."

Anna watched her mother go to the kitchen and soon her father came down to greet her. Anna turned back to Jun and sat next to him. "I'm sorry about that. My mother's a little...too motherly," she said with a small laugh.

Jun looked back as Jun's mother went off to the kitchen. There was a small smile on his lips. "No, it's...alright," he told her. Being hugged felt nice. It made him think of his mom, the way she worried and stroked his hair. Looking down at the ground he shook the thought from his head. Now wasn't the time to think about that. "She seems very nice," he said, trying to regain his composure.

Anna laughed again. "Yeah, she is. She's really clingy though." Moments later her mother came out with some tea for Jun and hot chocolate for Anna.

"Drink it all up, Jun. It's good for the pain," she said sweetly.

Her father came in with a small smile. "Seems Mr. Higarashi has already turned the city against me." He laughed lightly. "But I'll be ok. I got a contract from another city. I won't be getting paid as much, but Mr. Higarashi was paying me too much anyways."

"We'll be ok though, right, Dad?" Anna asked while she played with her hot chocolate.

"Of course we will, Anna." Her dad kissed her head. "We have plenty of money put away, and I've already got work."

Anna's mom clapped her hands. "Enough of this gloomy talk. I brought something back for you, Anna." Anna watched as her mom pulled out a box. It was a air bed. "I picked it up when I found out Jun was coming. You're room is really big and if you move some of your boxes, you can set this up and you two can share a room until Mike build's the new room."

Anna smiled. "I forgot all about Dad building that new room. I guess it will come in handy."

Jun frowned when he heard that his father was already making plans to ruin the Greens. That wasn't right. It was one thing for his father to lash out at him, but the Greens were good people. They didn't deserve to be punished like this. His jaw was hard set as he tried to think of a way to fix this. There had to be some way, something he could do, just so he didn't feel so helpless while his father crushed all those who tried to help him.

"Drink your drinks then off to bed, ok?" Anna's mom said and kissed Anna's cheek. She kissed Jun's cheek as well. "We are so happy you are here, Jun. Have a good night," she said hugging him.

Anna's dad kissed Anna's head again and they both went to their room. Anna turned to Jun. "So...I guess we will be sharing a room. Are you ok with that?"

Jun was still deep in thought until her mom kissed his cheek. He seemed to snap out of it just in time to hear Anna's question. "Yes, I mean, as long as you do not have a problem with it. I can sleep on the air mattress or if you want I can sleep on the couch."

"Or you can sleep on the bed like I told you to and I can sleep on the air mattress," Anna said smiling. "Drink your tea like mom said."

Jun sighed. There was no telling this girl no. Drinking his tea like a good little boy, he let her see that his glass was empty before they both retired to her room. Despite his protests, she insisted that he take her bed. He felt bad that he was sleeping on the bed while she was forced to sleep on the air mattress, but she didn't seem to mind.

Sleeping in night pants and a shirt, he crawled into the bed. Everything smelled like her, and he suddenly realized that he was going to have a hard time going to sleep.

Anna rolled over and looked over at Jun. His back was to her. Her heart skipped a beat. He was the first boy to ever be in her bed besides Brandon. She wondered if he was sleeping ok with the bruises. She, however, couldn't sleep at all. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Jun's father with that stupid smile on his face and Jun's body bleeding. Every time she tried to think of something else, her eyes would water.

Jun woke up in the middle of the night. Sweating, gasping for air, and holding his broken arm. Phantom pains. The doctor said he might feel them. Even with the pain medication, his arm was still hurting. He wasn't certain if it was actually from the pain or the nightmares. He hadn't had one this bad for quite some time. He lay there in the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He wanted to get up and glass of water so he could take his pills, but he didn't want to disturb anyone. So instead he just laid in silence, wondering what was going to happen.

Anna looked at Jun. "Jun? Are you ok?" she said. She hadn't been sleeping so she saw him wake up. She sat up. "Can I get you anything?"

Jun looked over at her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," he said softly. He hesitated. "I'm fine." He started to get up. Since she was already awake he might as well fend for himself. "I was just going to get a glass of water to take some of my medicine."

"I was already awake," she said standing. "I'll get it for you." She went to the door and walked out. Going downstairs she grabbed a bottled water from the fridge and went back upstairs. She grabbed his medication from her dresser and handed him the water and pills. "There you go," she said. And sat on the bed while he took the medicine.

It took him a few seconds to open the water bottle. After he did he quickly popped the medicine and downed it in one sip. Looking over at her, he gave her a grateful smile. "Thank you. I wasn't I mean...I wasn't keeping you awake was I?" He was afraid that he might have been moaning in his sleep or something that would keep her from sleeping.

"No," she said in a low voice, but replaced it with a smile quickly. The medication would have him sleeping soon so he would be ok. Grabbing the bottle of water and pills, she set them aside. "Go back to sleep. You need the rest," she said and pushed him back on the bed then crawled back into the air bed she had.

Jun wanted to push it further to find out why she wasn't sleeping, but already the pills were starting to take their effects and he was having to force himself not to yawn. "Goodnight," he said with a small yawn as he eventually fell asleep.

Morning came and Anna sat up. She could hear her parents playing the radio and singing while making breakfast. Anna smiled and yawned then went downstairs, leaving Jun to sleep. Her parents were dancing and singing and when they saw Anna they grabbed her hands and began to dance around her. Anna couldn't help herself, she too began to dance and sing with the radio. It was a satellite radio so it picked up English songs. Her mother danced with a spatula in her hand and her father used a spoon as a microphone. Anna laughed as they dance and sung. This was a typical morning for the Green family.

Jun cradled his arm against his chest as he peeked around the corner from the living room. He watched with a great degree of amusement as they danced around the room. Was this how they usually acted? Was this what a normal family was like?

Anna grabbed her stomach. "Can't dance anymore! Hurts!" she laughed. Her Dad picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. Anna screamed.

With a good toss, he threw Anna and she landed on the couch. She laughed and sat up on it then stood. It was then that she saw Jun. Her smile dropped and she started blushing. Her parents didn't seem to care, they kept dance.

"Good morning, Jun!" they both said while cooking and dancing.

Anna tuned to Jun while playing with her shirt. "Hey, sorry if we woke you..."

Jun smiled. She looked cute when she blushed. "It's okay," he told her as he walked over to her. Looking at her parents, he smiled, but it was almost sad. "Are they always like this?" His voice was barely above a whisper so her parents wouldn't hear

Anna smiled as she looked at them. They kissed then started dancing again. "Yeah. They are a little crazy, but they are the best parents anyone could ask for."

Hun's smile never left his face. "I'm sure that they are." Looking back at her he reached out and moved some hair from her face. "Did you ever get any sleep last night?"

She blushed again. He willingly touched her. That was odd...but...nice. Gave her butterflies. She shook the thoughts from her head. She wasn't going to be like those other girls. Jun didn't date. So she shouldn't put herself in situations to fall for him. It was just cruel to her heart. She shrugged at Jun. "Not too worried about it. I'll be ok," she said. Her mom looked at her and nodded to the table. "Come on, breakfast is ready," she added and walked to the table.

Jun sniffed the area. He wasn't certain what they were cooking, but it smelled good. If it was anything like the other American food he had tasted, he was certain that it would be. "I wanted to thank you once more for everything you have done for me," Jun said once they were seated. "As soon as I am able to, I hope that I am able to repay you for your kindness."

He was hoping that he could make a deal with his father. Keep this from the press in order to keep the Greens name from being slandered any further.

"You don't have to thank us, Jun. You are more than welcome here at any time," Anna's father said.

"Yes and Anna seems to like you a lot since she practically kicked down a door for you," her mom add with a smirk.

"Mom!" Anna said in a loud breath.

Her father narrowed his eyes at Anna's mom. "What?" her mom said with a shrug.

Anna placed her hand over her face. "Just shoot me now," she mumbled.

Jun smiled at this, but he wasn't quite certain what everyone was getting so worked up about. He liked Anna too. She was a good friend after all. Looking at everyone, he sort of gave them a confused look. "I'm glad that Anna likes me," he said slowly, hoping that he was saying the correct thing. "I like her too."

It got quiet and Anna looked at him. It was a joke...or he just meant friends....she was sure of it. Her mother smiled big. "Well..."

Before she could say anything, Anna threw eggs at her. "Shut it!"

Her mom laughed and her dad only smiled.

Jun continued smiling. This family was weird indeed, and he was starting to understand where Anna got it from. Despite their oddities, however, he felt more at ease around them, which in its own way was weird. "I'm....sorry?" He was still confused about what they meant by all of this, but he was hoping he hadn't done anything inappropriate.

Clearing his throat, he set down his fork. Seeing as how Anna's parents were a part of this, he felt that it was only right that he explained his plans to them. "Today...I'm going to go speak with my father."

Again it got quiet. "I'm going with him," Anna finally said.

Her mother stood. "No! You are not going near that man!"

"I have to, I can't let Jun do this alone," Anna said.

Her dad grabbed her moms hand and patted it. "Anna is a big girl. If she needs us she will call."

"That is my baby you are talking about, Mike!"

He groaned. "You know, I helped make her."

Anna screamed. "Please don't say that!" she said covering her ears. "I'm going, ok. And we will both be fine."

"We will be fine," Jun assured them. "I'll make certain that Anna comes back unharmed. I'm just going to try to talk some sense into my father."

Anna tensed. Talk sense into him? His father was the controlling type. Anna knew there was no 'talking sense' into that type of person. It would only cause him to lash out. She looked at Jun. She didn't want Mr. Higarashi to do anything to harm him.

"Well, then eat up you two and you can take your father's car, Anna. You call if anything is wrong. Text me when you get there and text me when you are on your way back so I know you are safe," her mom said.

"Yes..." Anna said in a low voice.
