Jun started to roll over and go back to sleep. "That's great hun I-" He stopped and bolted out of bed. Grabbing a pair of her pants, he jumped to put them on while fumbling with his phone. He hit Anna's parents’ number. "It's time!" he yelled frantically into the phone. Grabbing her luggage, he helped her off the bed and helped her to waddle downstairs and into his car. An ambulance would take too long. Jun Hisaragi's driving skills would get them to the hospital in only a few minutes.
Anna screamed and grabbed Jun's arm as another contraction hit her while he drove. "It hurts so much!" she yelled.
Once at the hospital, the doctors met Jun at his car. Anna's parents called Anna's doctor and told him Anna was coming in. They got her on a stretcher and she held Jun's hand as they rushed her in.
"They are coming now! Stop running! It's happening now!" Anna screamed. One of the doctors stopped moving and looked under Anna's night gown.
"She's crowning!" he yelled.
"What the hell did I just say!" Anna screamed.
"Don't push!"
"Fuck you! It's coming out now!" Anna yelled and pushed. She held tightly to Jun's hand while her doctor rounded the corner.
In the hallway of the hospital, Anna had her first child.
Jun couldn't believe it. There in the middle of the hospital their first child was born. A baby girl. They barely had time to get Anna back into a room before she started on their second child. The nurses rushed back and forth, getting their baby girl cleaned up as the doctor got her ready to deliver their second child. "You can do it honey! You're doing great!"
"Shut up! Everyone just shut up!" Anna screamed. Her doctor looked at her and nodded and Anna started pushing again. "Damn it! Get it out!"
"This one doesn't want to come out as easy," the doctor said. "You are going to have to push harder Anna.
Anna screamed again and started pushing harder. In the matter of minutes, she felt her second child pass and she laid back. "Please...tell me I'm done..." she said in gasps.
"We have a boy!" the doctor yelled and passed it to the nurse. "Get her cleaned up."
The nurses nodded and started to work on changing Anna. Anna looked at Jun.
"Never again...never..." she said in huffs.
Jun laughed as he wiped her forehead. "Remember? Next time I'm the one who will be carrying them," he whispered through laughs as he kissed her forehead. "You did great, Anna. Even if they did just tear your beautiful...uh...well. You did great."
The doctor turned to them. "You have some healthy babies." The nurses lifted Anna and put her on a clean bed then moved the other one out. Anna laid back. "That had to be the quickest delivery I have ever done. Anna, you must have been having contractions for hours."
"I had some sharp pains but I just thought the babies were pushing on my ribs..." she said as she closed her eyes.
The doctor pulled the sheets over her and her eyes went open again while listening to her children cry. "Get some rest, they will be here when you wake up."
Anna nodded slowly and closed her eyes again.
Jun stayed by her side until she fell to sleep. Once she did he wandered the halls until he found the place where they put the newborns. Looking through the glass, he didn't have a single question as to which two were his. A smile graced his lips as he pressed his hands to the glass. "I'm father," he whispered.
Anna's parents joined him and her mother started crying. "Oh! Look how perfect they are!"
Mike beamed. "My girl makes beautiful babies." He patted Jun on the shoulder. "Good job, son."
Jun just smiled like a fool. He couldn't believe it. Those perfect little angels were his kids. Hurrying back to Anna's room, he took her hand and kissed her. "They're beautiful," he whispered to her as she slept.
Anna finally woke up hours later. She sat up and they put pillows in her lap so she could breast feed the twins. She cried the whole time and tried hard not to get their little head wet. They were born with Anna's blond hair but the doctor said it could change as they got older. Finding them in the hospital was easy since they were the only blond newborns. Her parents came to visit often until the day it was time to take them home. Anna and Jun had named their baby girl after his mother and their baby boy after Anna's late little brother. As soon as Anna got them home, her worries of never having time alone with Jun faded. She never wanted to be apart from the twins. She never complained about getting up in the middle of the night to feed them. In fact, she didn't like anyone but Jun holding them. She fault with her parents and with Reisha about them holding her babies. Jun had to eventually make her leave the house with him for a few days just so she could get some sun. As the year went by, Anna finished her schooling and went to college. With her mother's help watching the twins, Jun went back to work, coming home early every night. His cancer never came back and even though the kids were at risk, Jun and Anna weren't worried at all. They had known a long time ago that their family was made of fighters and none of them would give up too easily. Despite everything they went through, Jun and Anna never regretted a thing.
