Angel of The Night: Chapter 9: ’ÇÕ- (The Chase)

This is Drew Miller. I am attempting to finish the story “Angel of the Night” by Dr. Yorkazemzem. I will try my best to keep it to his original vision and try not to change it to much. I’ll make sure that Jon and Felicia become central characters. NOTE: I’m going back to the narration, the only reason I did the last chapter from Morrigan’s POV was so you could get a sense of how terrified she was. Onto chapter 9, or to quote Jim Carrey, “Hi ho silver, away!”
Matt was horror stuck, his own girlfriend, the one he loved, went crazy and escaped, worst of all, George, the only one who couldn’t die, was knocked unconscious and bleeding profusely, he told Felicia and Jon to go after her and to bring her back, but don’t kill her. Matt opened the vault and leaned beside George, he knew he would be no help to Felicia and Jon because he was the only human in the group, he was crying, saying, “God, why did it have to happen, I’m so stupid! DAMN IT!”
Suddenly, Matt started to see something amazing, something that most people never get to see in their entire lifetime, all the bite marks and tears on George’s neck, started doing something, it didn’t look like anything at first but when Matt looked closer, he could see that the wounds were starting to heal up faster than any normal human could. Matt was horrified at first, but he calmed down and waited, maybe he can stop her.
Meanwhile…
Felicia and Jon were trying to find Morrigan, who had gone crazy and escaped, and were hot on her tail, since they last saw Morrigan years ago; Felicia had matured into a full adult Neko-jin, or Cat person. And Jon has mastered the creature inside him and was now able to trigger the transformations at will.
Something else happened, Felicia seems to trust Jon, like a friend, it was almost as if they were brother and sister, but they really weren’t, till Felicia learned to change into a full human instead of a cat person. They had been on many adventures together; they both ended up saving the Chinese empire from Rouge Russian immigrants, another time they ended up saving the president of the United States America, in fact, he asked them that when the term ended, they should both run for office. And still, even more adventures they had, they had destroyed the Iran rouges with their bare hands. They just needed to stop Morrigan, it wouldn’t be easy.
They came across an old friend, Donovan Baine; they asked if he saw Morrigan anywhere, he told them that he saw her flying towards the richer part of town, because the richer men would want her more because of being greedy, he also wanted them to call him if they needed any help.
“Thanks” said Felicia, and they left after her, when they caught up to her, she was already sucking the soul out of a young rich boy. They attacked her, but it was to late, the boy died.
“What do you want Darkstalkers?”
Felicia said,”For you to stop this madness Morrigan, I swear if you harm one more human we’ll…”
Morrigan replied confidently, “You’ll do what, Kill Me? Would you really, would you kill your own friend and sister in arms.”
Jon: It’s a trick, don’t fall for it.
Morrigan: My, My, My, aren’t we a feisty one, I shouldn't have gone so easy on you back then, but now I can see, Your soul HAS gotten stronger...... May I borrow it? Forever......
Jon: Not on your life
Morrigan: Then you will, die, like everyone else.
Felicia: So you didn’t absorb all of the rich people?
Morrigan: No, I absorbed all the younger ones for their youth, and the older ones, I just slaughtered, they were useless but enjoyable to kill.
Felicia and Jon: YOU BITCH! YOU WILL BURN IN HELL FOR WHAT YOU’VE DONE.
Morrigan: Oh, I’ve already been there, and I find it quite relaxing.
Jon turned into the wolf and him and Felicia rushed Morrigan but she just knocked them off her with a soul barrier.
Morrigan: You can get hurt...... Don't exert yourself next time.
Jon: Were’re going to do a lot worse to you than you think.
Felicia used her Hell Cat attack and threw Morrigan across the sky, she slammed into a skyscraper and dislocated a shoulder, but countered with her Shadow Blade, Felicia fell back, and some of her clean neat white fur was now tattered, torn, and red from the blood from the cut she just received from the last attack.
Jon fired his Rising Beast Laser at Morrigan but she caught it and threw it right back, hitting him in the face and creating a scar across his left eye.
Jon stumbled, he was out of breath and Felicia was out of energy, they couldn’t hold on for much longer.
Jon let his beastal side take over, and created a Copy of himself, they attacked Morrigan, one bit at her abdomen and tore a peace of her costume off, her navel was exposed, and the other then they double teamed her along with Felicia, the 3 tore up Morrigan’s leg, it wouldn’t be useable for a while, but she didn’t need it, she floated up into the air, her eves turned red and she glowed a hazy purple.
Jon: Oh shit, that’s not good
Meanwhile…
Naked men, woman, and children were all being found dead in their beds at home, they all looked like they had a pleased face but something was unusual about them, they had two bite marks on their necks, all in the same exact place, they had all had their organs checked by the forensics, and their organs were all in perfect condition, but they all had symptoms as though they had recently been raped, the other thing that was unusual about all of them was that their skin was very pale, nearly white, and as cold as metal, like they lost all their body heat, or they had their souls sucked out of them, it was unusually weird.
It was now 1:00 am, Felicia and Jon were still fighting Morrigan, but was loosing the battle, it seemed as if Morrigan was a completely different person, she seemed to get more powerful every second they attacked her, as if she was feeding off the pain, another thing was that she enjoyed hurting her friends, she killed Felicia’s mother and Jon’s whole family of werewolves that night, they put up a good fight but lost in the end, Felicia and Jon had each their own reason for fighting Morrigan, even though they both secretly had feelings for each other. But were loosing, and even Jon in his werewolf form was having a hard time with her.
Jon: I have no chose but to fight you.
Morrigan: your too weak, my beauty can overcome your brains and brawn, your soul is not worthy of me.
But Jon kept coming; he was determined to bring her back
Morrigan: Stay down, it's easier that way.
Jon had enough of this and went bezerker; he ended up biting her twice in the neck before she used her Soul Fist attack and knocked him off of her. He then lost all energy and fainted out cold; his fur disappeared, and was completely nude.
Morrigan: Yeah, more to feed on, you could only hope to beat me.
Morrigan started to float toward Jon slowly
Morrigan: I’m going to enjoy this Darkstalker.
“Yo, she Bitch!”
“Who dares defies the Queen of Aensland and the future queen of vampires?!”
“I do, Koningin van Aensland”
It was George and Matt, George had another pair of fresh clothes on and Matt was behind George, he was furious.
“WHY DID YOU LEAVE!?!”
“It’s not her” replied George “I’ll take care of it.”
There was a flash of light around George, he went onto the ground, grunting, bones crack and move, hair starts to grow around him, he gets up, now his scar on his face is larger, his eyes are now silted like a cat, his hair is spiky, and his facial hair has extended, he, like Jon, is a Lycanthrope to, but is only a half lycan.
“I will have to bring you back, Matt still loves you”
Morrigan: “You can tell the human that when I’m done with you, his soul is mine.”
“Then you leave me no chose.”
George kneeled down, his right side facing Morrigan, right arm outstretched, forming the Clergyman symbol, while his right was bent back in a fist, he concentrated hard, and then the ground started to shake, and a mist, or steam that was white seemed to engulf his body, and then it started to move like flames flickering.
“This is Chi in its pure form.”
George stopped glowing, then pure white electricity started flashing around and from his body, then he made his fighting stance again, and the electricity came into his clenched fist, he then punched forward except when his arm became outstretched, he opened the hand and a white beam, his signature attack shot out of his hand at amazing speed.
“NOTPIL EGROEG!”
The beam was so fast that no human could dodge it. She appeared behind him
“01x” continued Drew the beam spilt into millions of little ones and all shot at Morrigan, there were so many, she couldn’t dodge them all and they knocked her out. Matt picked her up, she gained conciseness, she looked upset, “I-I c-couldn’t s-stop I-it, f-f-forgive m-me” she was embarrassed and embraced Matt while crying up tears.
George came up to Felicia and Jon, “Otuoyj On Ik” the last bit of Chi came out of George and went into Felicia and Jon, George, with no ki left, returned to human form. Jon and got up, they were woozy, “What did you do to us?” asked Felicia, curiously.
“I simply transferred the last of my Chi into you two, it will give you just enough energy to get back to the apartment with us, then you two need to rest, and for god sake Jon, get some pants on.”
Jon shot him a disgusted look, but Felicia snickered while trying to hold back her blushing.
“Come on” said George lets go home and they walked away, George knew it wasn’t over, but he had a plan, but he knew in the back of his mind that Morrigan will have to face her dark side again. Matt was trying to calm Morrigan down, he had never seen her this upset, and just then, he leaned forward and kissed her. Morrigan seemed to calm down a little as they all started to head for the apartment.
How’ s that? In the next chapter, George sends Matt and Morrigan out to the finest restaurant on a date while George, Felicia, Jon, and Baine go to a bar to chill and meet some familiar characters, George reveals his origin and why he has become a demon hunter and why he is helping Matt, George also performs in a band live on stage. Matt and Morrigan share secrets with each other in the restaurant, they move to the next step in their relationship, and the next day, George will attempt to teach Matt how to use Chi, will he figure it out?
