Rapunzel pushed through the panicked crowd, mumbling angrily. "God, what is her problem?" Rapunzel thought. "I can't do anything on my own anymore." She clenched her jaw. "Whoever said marriage was worth it, lied. No privacy, you have to share everything with someone else, you're basically not even your own person anymore. Marriage sucks. Maybe if I had nev-' Rapunzel stopped and her eyes widened at her own thoughts. It was then that Cassandra's hurt-filled face appeared in her mind...

Rapunzel looked down at her wedding ring. "I'm not like you!" Rapunzel winced at her own words. How could she say something like that? She knew how painful that topic still was for her... and she basically threw a big 'fuck you' right into her face. Then she basically told her she didn't need her. Cassandra was only worried about her, for obvious reasons... Although she does come off strong and has a... sort of aggressive approach when it comes to emotions, she was still trying. What was wrong with her? Maybe Cass was right, maybe there was something else going on with her that she didn't see... Rapunzel quickly shook her head and sped up once more. No matter, she'll worry and apologize to Cass later. Right now she needed to focus on finding Nova.

Right on cue, she heard a small, scared wail and immediately followed the cry. Rapunzel sped up and long behold, there she was, sitting against a wall, her small form shaking. "Nova!" Nova immediately perked her head up at her mother's voice.

"Mommy!" The little girl quickly got to her feet and threw herself into her mother's arms and started sobbing.

Rapunzel wrapped her arms around the little girl and took a shaky, relieved breath as she gently rubbed her back. "Shh, it's okay, it's okay... Mommy's here.."

The little girl pulled away. "I wa' so scare'..." Hiccup. "I couldn' find you o' momma,"

"I know sweetheart, I know. I'm sorry. I'm here now, okay?" She smiled sweetly and gently combed her hands through her hair, something that always calmed her. As she knew, it immediately calmed her as the little girl nodded.

But it didn't last long as her eyes widened in fear. "Mommy, look out!" Rapunzel barely had time to push Nova behind her before she saw what looked like a young man draped in a cloak coming straight at her. She tried to get up to move out of the way but all energy suddenly left her body and she fell back to her knees. Panicking, she did all she could think of; place her body in front of Nova.

The man raised the sword, he was seconds away... Rapunzel squeezed her eyes shut but the blow never came. Reopening her eyes, her eyes widened in surprised relief when she saw Cassandra in front of her holding the man off with her own sword. The man pushed back but she pushed back even stronger as she used all her strength to shove him away then kicked him in the chest, sending him flying. Without looking away from the struggling man trying to get up, Cassandra glared at Rapunzel out of the corner of her eye. "This is why I told you to say inside!"

Without her realizing it, anger returned full force and she was about to respond with a snarky remark but her eyes widened. "Cass, look out!" She tried to warn her but she wasn't quick enough as another man came from a different direction and with an unusual amount of strength, shot Cassandra flying back. "Cassandra!" With newfound energy, she picked up the frightened little girl and ran to her lover, and bent down. "Are you-"

Cassandra was already pushed herself up to a sitting position. "I'm fine." She said through clenched teeth. Rapunzel winced at the tone but didn't comment because she very well deserved the anger coming from the young woman this time.

They suddenly both heard dark chuckling. Cassandra shot herself to her feet and placed herself in front of Rapunzel and Nova. Rapunzel followed shortly after as she tightly clutched the little girl to her chest. "Who are you??" Cassandra demanded, her voice poisonous, threatening, and dark.

"Oh, how rude of me!" The dark voice responded. "Let me introduce myself." He took off his head and both woman's eyes widened at his form. He was a demon, that much was sure but he looked nothing like Zhan Tiri. His red eyes pierced into their souls, the parts that were supposed to be white covered in black... His eyes looked exactly how Rapunzel's did when she used the decay incantation. His figure was slim and slender as he stared at them with a demonic smirk. "My name is Azriel." He bowed politely, a smirk forever on his face. He stood back up to a standing position before looking Cassandra up and down. "You must Cassandra." He slowly peered around her and a sinister smile appeared on his lips when he saw Rapunzel. "And you must be Rapunzel." Rapunzel swallowed at the look he was giving her and she placed herself closer to Cassandra.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes. She didn't like the look the demon was giving to her wife so she placed herself directly in front of her to shield her from view. He immediately snapped his eyes back up to meet her eyes. "What do you want? And how do you know who we are?" Her voice continued to be dark and threatening.

Azriel chuckled. "Doesn't everyone? Your story is quite popular. Two women - as different as night is from the day - falling in love and having a daughter? That's not your everyday story, you know."

Cassandra narrowed her eyes. "If you think you can hurt the people of this town, I swear-"

Azriel laughed. "Oh, no, no, no! You got it all wrong! I don't care about you, your daughter, or your lame town. That's not what I'm here for."

"Then what-?"

Azriel rose his sword and pointed it directly at Rapunzel. "I'm here for her." He said demonically. Both women tensed. "And if you hand her over, I promise no one will get hurt."

Cassandra quickly placed an arm in front of Rapunzel and narrowed her eyes. "What do you want with her?"

"To fulfill her fate of course," Azriel's face darkened into a twisted, evil grin that sent shivers down both of their spines. "...To die."

"That's no-"

"She was supposed to die. But my wonderful friends had the gull to bring her back." Azriel spat out with an evil grimace at the word 'friends'. His smirk returned immiedatly though. "Perhaps you know them..."

Cassandra thought for a second before her eyes widened and she pulled back in surprise. "You knew Amaris and Helios?”

"Of course I did,” He responded like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “I am the holder of the fourth stone, afterall.”

Cassandra and Rapunzel shared a confused glance. "Wait," Rapunzel interjected. "There's a fourth stone?"

"Amaris mentioned a third holder," Cassandra answered. "But she never mentioned a fourth.”

"Not surprised," Azriel mumbled before he smirked again. "Care for me to explain?"

"Not really." Rapunzel responded.

"No." Cassandra responded at the same time.

"Too bad," Azriel answered. "As you know, the moonstone and sunstone were created from a drop of moonlight and sunlight. The sunstone, the stone of creation. The moonstone, the stone of destruction. The blackstone was the stone of darkness. But what most people don't know is that there is a fourth stone... the stone of eternal suffering."

“What a wonderful name,” Rapunzel responded sarcsatically, actually surprising Cassandra with her unusual sarcastic attitude. That was usually her thing.

“Yeah, what kind of name is that?”

“How about I show you?” The world around them started to fade to black. Cassandra held her sword up higher in panick as their entire world faded to pitch black darkness.

“What the hell is happening??” Cassandra asked but when Rapunzel didn’t so much as react, she turned in her direction and stopped in her tracks. The girls eyes were without emotion, like she was in a forever daze as she stared at a certain spot, unmoving. “Rapunzel?” Cassandra tried to shake her but she just continued to stare in the same spot. “Raps, are you okay??” She was about to shout her name a third time but suddenly she heard evil chuckling. Cassandra spun around but saw no one. She only saw darkness.

“I guess killing her isn’t gonna be a problem,” Azreil’s voice wrung out.

Cassandra sneered, her hands still on her shoulders. “What the hell are you doing to here?!”

“Such dark thought…”

That stopped Cassandra in her tracks. “What?”

The voice suddenly laughed. “Oh, this is rich. You have no idea.”

“No idea for what??”

“I supposed that since I’m gonna kill her anyway, I might as well tell you what deep dark secrets this girl is holding. Do you really wanna know?”

Cassandra tensed. If she said yes, she could finally find out what has been bothering her lover… But on the other hand, she would not only be breaking Rapunzel’s trust but her privacy as well. As she turned her attention back to her zoned -out lover, she couldn’t help but frown at the hidden pain in her lovers eyes… The same pain she’s been seeing for weeks. “...Fine.”

“She’s been lying to you all,” The demon started. “She’s not ‘forgetting’ to eat, she’s not sleeping not because of some stupid little nightmares… She’s doing it all on purpose.”

“On purpose?” Cassandra asked, confused. “But… why?”

“Oh, I think you know already. You’ve known all along. You’ve just been denying the possibility.”

Cassandra was silent for a moment before she responded: “...I need to hear you say it. If you can really read her thoughts, tell me the truth.”

“The truth?” The demon laughed. “You want the truth? Alright,” He paused for a second. “This girl doesn’t care about living anymore. All I can feel from her is darkness in her heart. Each passing second, her thoughts will only get darker, more disturbed… until eventually…”

Cassandra’s breath hitched. “No, no she would never…”

“Oh, but she would!” The demon laughed.

“Y-You’re lying!”

“Really?” The demon asked and chuckled. “Here, see for yourself.” Without warning, Cassandra suddenly felt a strong connection connect her to Rapunzel and before long, thousand of concerning, horrible thoughts from the last couple weeks filled her mind.

Cassandra squeezed her eyes shut. “Stop…” She asked, tears for her wife just begging to fall. “S-Stop it…” They continued. “Stop, I don’t want to hear anymore!” And just like that, the thoughts stopped and left her gasping for air.

“Believe me now?” Cassandra didn’t respond as she stared wide-eyed at the young woman in front of her.

“Why… Why didn’t she tell me?” Cassandra eventually asked.

“Because she didn’t want to believe it herself.”

Cassandra knew that something was wrong weeks ago. She should’ve listened to her instincts and approached Rapunzel before… it got as bad as it is. How could she keep something like that from her? Was she really in that much denial that… It was then that she realized that Rapunzel has never really… been through depression before. She’s had depressive moments but never where it was consistent… Cassandra’s eyes softened and her heart clenched. No wonder she’s been so moody lately… She’s been going through all this alone.

“You see? The girl doesn’t even wanna be alive anyway. So if you just-”

No.”

“No?” Even though Cass couldn’t see him, she could practically see  the way his eyebrow rose.

“You can’t have her,” Cassandra growled. “I won’t let you hurt her!”

The demon scoffed. “Oh, now you’re just being selfish. She wants-”

“I don’t care what she wants,” Cassandra glared. “She doesn’t know what she wants right now. And you’re getting nowhere near her!”

The demon’s facade fell as he snarled but before he could attack them, he heard a shout. “Cassandra, Rapunzel!” The shout knocked him out of his concentration and almost immediately the black darkness faded around them, leaving them both in the middle of the streets of Corona. Rapunzel fell to her knees before falling forward but before she could hit the ground, Cassandra, who had taken Nova from Rapunzel a while ago, caught her in her arms.

“Raps?” Cassandra asked, shaking the unresponsive girl. “Rapunzel??” Cassandra quickly shoved Nova into Varian’s arms (despite not knowing where the hel he even came from) and launched herself to her feet, sword in hand. “What the hell did you do to her?!”

Azriel rolled her eyes. “Please,” He responded sarcastically. “She’s fine. Roaming into someone’s heart takes a lot out of a person. Speaking of which…” He began advancing quickly towards the two woman before he was suddenly stopped by arrows, one nearly missing his heart.

“Oh, no you don’t!” Eugene shouted before looking at his men and shouted: “Now!” With that they all fired but to no use. Azriel effortlessly shielded himself but one arrow made contact with his arm as he stepped backwards witha  growl. He looked around and quickly realized he was surrounded. Invading someone’s heart is a draining thing to do. Azriel turned his attention back to the young warrior and narrowed his eyes. By the look in their eyes, he could tell that they already figured out his weakness. “You got lucky,” He snarled. “I’ll be back.” With a evil laugh, sinister laugh, the area filled with black smoke, making everyone cough and when it finally cleared, he was gone.

Cassandra continued to hold the princess close to her chest while looking in the place Azriel was just in; their conversation fresh on her mind.

What the hell was she gonna do?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rapunzel groaned, her head falling to the side as her eyes started to open. It was all blurry at first as the world became awake to her. She groaned a second time, placing a hand on her head (with great struggle) as the weight of gravity kept her pinned to the bed she was laying in. Rapunzel looked around the room she was in. She reconized rather quickly that she was in her own bed. She tried to remember how the hell she got there and when she did and that’s when everything came back to her. Demon. New stone. Azriel. Panicking, she searched the room for any sign of Nova or Cassandra. “Cassandra?” She asked, her voice weak and scratchy. “C-Cass?” She tried again.

She was about to force her body to move against its will when Cassandra finally came through the door. “Raps?” She didn’t have time to so much as react before she was pulled into a tight hug. “Thank god you’re okay!” Cassandra exclaimed.

Rapunzel tried to wrap both arms around the distressed warrior but she was only able to raise one. Cassandra finally let go a couple seconds later before she pulled back and grasped both of Rapunzel’s cheeks as she gave her a look-over. “You’ve been out for 5 days,” She commented, running her thumb across her cheek. “I told you to stay put! You should’ve listened!” Her voice held no anger or aggravation, only worry and fear.

“Is Nova safe?” Rapunzel asked, quickly changing the subject. “What about Corona?”

“She’s fine Rapunzel,” Cassandra responded. “No one was hurt.” She paused. “...Other than you.”

“Azriel?”

“He’s gone… for now.” Cassandra paused again. “Do you remember anything?”

“...It’s all kinda fuzzy,” Rapunzel responded, trying her hardest to recall. “I remember being surrounded by shadows and…” She stopped and by the shocked look on her face, Cass realized that she remembered the once thing she hoped she didn’t. That shocked look slowly transformed into quick anger. “...And you..”

“R-Rapunzel, listen-”

No,” With newfound energy, Rapunzel brought herself to a sitting position and glared daggers at Cassandra. Cassandra winced. “How could you? I told you that-”

“How could I?” Cassandra cut her off. “How could you? Why would you keep something like that from me?”

“Becuase it’s none of your business! You always get pissed at me for poking and snooping around into your personal life but then you go against my wishes and for what? To make yourself feel better?”

“What? No! I’m only w0-”

“Yeah, yeah, worried, I know.” Rapunzel rolled her eyes, her voice bitter. “But that gave you no right to-”

“You’re right,” Cassandra replied. “But what did you expect? You are clearly not-”

“It doesn’t matter!” Rapunzel shouted. “I asked you to leave it alone but no, you kept pushing and pushing and then went ahead and practicatlly invaded my privacy!”

“It does matter,” Cassandra replied calmly as she tried to keep her anger in check. “Whatever happened to us, huh? You know, ‘to have and to hold you, to honor you, to treasure you, to be at your side in sorrow and in joy, in the good times, and in the bad, and to love and cherish you always. I promise you this from my heart, for all the days of my life’ and all that. Whatever happened to that, huh? We’re supposed to be in this together. I take our vows seriously but you-”

“Then maybeyou should’ve never married me!” Rapunzel shouted. Cassandra pulled back in surprise but Rapunzel continued and as she continued on, Cassandra could see the growing tears. “If it really bothers you that much, then leave! If I keep worrying you this much, then what’s the point in even staying?” Rapunzel sniffed, her voice slowly becoming more distraught. Cassandra’s eyes started to soften. “If I keep hurting you, then leave. I’m not worth all the pain a-and heartache or any of that! Now that this guy is after me, everyone here, including yourself and Nova, are in danger.” Sniff. “So, what’s even the point?? What’s the point of anything anymore?? I’m not worth any of it.” Another sniff. “So, just leave if-” She didn’t get to finish. Cassandra had heard enough and with no other way to shut her up, she quickly pressed her lips to the princess’s lips, effectively shutting her up.

Rapunzel seemed tense at first but when Cassandra deepened the kiss, Rapunzel couldn’t help but close her eyes, wrap her arms around the warrior’s neck and kiss back. A couple seconds passed before Cassandra finally pulled away but she didn’t pull back as she stared deeply into Rapunzel’s eyes, both women panting softly. “I’m not going anywhere,” Cassandra whispered. “And I’m sorry for going against your wishes, I really, really am. But, Rapunzel, you have to understand that…” She slowly shook her head. “You’ve always been there for me when I needed it most. I love you so much, I just… I hate seeing you go through this alone.”

Rapunzel looked down for a second before remeeting her eyes. “I should’ve told you. But I just… I don’t know Cass, I don’t even know what’s going on with me at this point.”

Cassandra gave her a small smile, placed her hand on her cheek and rubbed her thumb across her cheek. “Talking about it might help.”

Rapunzel looked down and was silent for a couple moments. “Cass, I…” She eventually started before shutting her eyes, taking a deep breath and trying again. “I-I can’t, not yet… I need to figure some things out first but I promise that eventually, I will. But I’m gonna need you to be patient with me. Is that enough?”

Cassandra seemed to think for a second before she smiled and nodded. “I can live with that.” Her smile quickly fell as she once more rubbed her thumb across her cheek. “But you have to promise me you won’t do anything stupid and if you’re thinking about it, come to me. Immediatly.”

Rapunzel smiled, the first true smile Cassandra has seen in weeks, and nodded. “I promise.”

Cassandra smiled and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. “I love you, Raps.”

Rapunzel closed her eyes for a moment and just relished in the moment. “I love you too, Cass.” Rapunzel reopened her eyes and upon remembering what she said earlier, she gave Cassandra a sympathetic, apologetic, immense guilty look. “Cass, about earlier, I-”

Cassandra put her hand up to stop her. “Don’t.”

“But-”

Cassandra only shook her head. “Don’t worry about it Raps, I know you didn’t mean anything by it. Well at least I know that now…

Rapunzel looked downward. “I shouldn’t have said it in the first place. Actually, I’ve been a pretty big jerk to you lately and you didn’t deserve that. Especially considering you were just worried about my well-being. I’m so sorry…”

“Rapunzel,” Cassandra started before hooking her fingers under her chin and lifted her head back up to meet her eyes. “It’s okay, really. I mean, it was nothing compared to what I did to you when I was in a bad place.”

“It still wasn’t right.”

“And I shouldn’t have pried. You’re right, you can take care of yourself…” Even though Cass tried to hide it, Rapunzel could hear the pain in her voice.

Rapunzel’s eyes softened as she leaned forward and brushed Cassandra’s bangs from out of her eyes. She knew exactly what Cassandra was thinking. “That doesn’t mean I don’t need you.” She scooted closer so they were barely an inch apart, her hand on Cassandra’s cheek. “I shouldn’t have made it seem that way.” She paused. “....again..” After she used the ‘again’, she pulled away and slightly distanced herself. Cass could see tears building in her eyes. Rapunzel pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged them. “Why do you stay with me…” She looked up to meet her eyes and Cassandra was taken back by the sudden pain and guilt in them. “....if I keep making the same mistakes?”

Cassandra, taken back by the sudden question, took a second to respond. Her eyes softening, she moved to her side of the bed and wrapped one arm around the princess who was currently trying to make herself appear as small as possible and pulled her in close. “Because I love you, Rapunzel. Besides, I’ve repeated countless mistakes and yet, you still stayed. Which is still a wonder to me.” Cass joked, hoping to get a laugh out of her. It worked. Slightly. She immediately went back into defensive mode and looked away. So, Cassandra continued. “...You and I are meant to be together,” She started. Rapunzel had to look up at her, surprised by the sudden push of emotions and as Cass calls ‘mushy stuff’. “And nothing is ever gonna change that.”

“Nothing?” Rapunzel asked, her voice small and unsure. She sounded so scared and small… That was when Cassandra realized that whatever was going on… was more serious than either wanted to admit. This scared, unsure and short-tempered person that was sitting before her… was nothing like the Rapunzel she knew. It broke her heart to see her lover in such a state.

“Nothing.” Cassandra confirmed, pulling her even closer so that her head lay on her shoulder. “Nothing will ever take you away from me. And I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.” Rapunzel simply nodded and cuddled herself even closer into Cassandra’s warmth, her forest, wild-like smell calming her.

Cassandra wanted nothing more to make her smile, to make her laugh, to make her feel anything other than the pain that Cass can feel in her heart. After a couple minutes of silence, Cassandra decided she had enough. “Is… there anything I can do to help?”

Rapunzel closed her tired eyes for a second and smiled softly. “That’s sweet, Cass, but I don’t think so.” Rapunzel paused for a second as a thought popped up into her mind. “Unless…”

Cassandra immediately perked her head up. “Unless?”

“Unless…” Rapunzel trailed off before pushing herself off her then putting herself in between Cassandra’s legs, both of her legs on either side of her wife. “...Maybe there is something you can do to help..” Rapunzel’s voice was barely above a whisper as she stared at Cassandra’s lips.

Cassandra wanted nothing more to take her up on that offer but she pulled back instead. “I-I don’t know Raps, you’re still pretty weak and… Ugh, I don’t know if this is such a good idea.” Rapunzel didn’t seem to be listening as she traveled her hands up Cassandra’s body, making her shiver, before placing them on her shoulders. Rapunzel remet her eyes, her eyes pleading and lustful.

“Please, Cass…” Rapunzel started to lean in again but stopped short from Cass’s lips, her breath fanning over the older woman's lips. “...I need this.” She ended in a whisper. Cassandra internally groaned. How was she supposed to argue with that?

“Fine,” Cassandra whispered back, her eyes also trained on Rapunzel’s lips. “But you need to tell me if-” She didn’t even get to finish. Rapunzel leaned the rest of the way forward and captured her lips in a fiery, passionate kiss. Cassandra immediately melted into it before pulling her closer and deepening it, her hands digging into her hair. Rapunzel groaned in the back of her throat and placed her hands on her shoulders to steady herself and push herself closer.

As the passion started to grow, Cassandra trailed her hands down her body sensually; her hands tracing the princess’s curvy sides before they landed on her hips. Without warning, Cassandra pulled her hips forward and thrusted into her. Rapunzel let out a surprised moan but her lips never left Cassandra’s. Rapunzel slowly moved her hands from her shoulders, to tracing her muscular arms, to disappearing under her shirt. Cassandra shivered involuntarily when Rapunzel’s warm hands passed over her toned stomach before stopping just under her breasts then she repeated the process a second time. When air became a necessity, both women finally pulled apart but it didn’t last long. As soon as they got their second wind, Rapunzel recaught Cassandra’s lips in an even harder kiss.

Cassandra quickly slipped them around so that she was on top of her, her lips never leaving the princess’s. Rapunzel wrapped her arms around the warrior’s neck, pulling herself closer before thrusting against her, causing Cassandra to pull back with a moan in surprise due to her sudden boldness. Cassandra must have given her a surprised look because Rapunzel gave her a small, sly smile. “What? It’s been a long day. And this is the perfect way too…” Her eyes darkened with a lust Cassandra had never seen in her before as she thrusted against her a second time. “...unwind.”

Cassandra got over her surprise quickly before leaning back in. “Unwind, huh?” She whispered, her voice calm and lustful. “Oh, I’ll help you…” This time, Cassandra thrusted against her even harder and from the position they were in, it brought immediate pleasure to Rapunzel as she threw her head back and moaned. Cassandra smirked. “...unwind.”

Her eyes half open, Rapunzel gave her a desire-filled smile. “I bet you will.” She smirked. “If you can follow through.”

Cassandra chuckled, leaving forward. “Are you trying to make me punish and fuck your brains out or…?”

Rapunzel gave her a shy, sly grin. “...Maybe.”

“Hm,” Cassandra mumbled as she leaned even closer to Rapunzel’s lips once more, barely an inch apart. “I have no problem showing you who’s boss.”

“Then do it already, would ya?”

“Fine, but remember, you asked for it.”

“I wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t prepared.” Rapunzel’s voice suddenly dropped an octave as she sensually traced the warrior’s muscular arms before looking back up to meet her eyes. “Unleash your inner beast on me, Cassandra...”

“Oh, I’ll show you my inner beast alright,” With that, Cassandra crashed her lips to Rapunzel’s in a harsh, passionate kiss. Not waiting a single second, Cassandra shoved her tongue into Rapunzel’s mouth, making the younger girl moan. Their tounges battled for dominance, Cassandra won of course, before Cass shredded her shirt to pieces. Rapunzel was way to worked up to care. Cass didn’t hesitate to start attacking her neck with kisses, biting and sucking. Rapunzel couldn’t but moan deeply before grabbing the warror’s shirt and pulling her down to once more recapture her lips.

Their lips only parted for a second as Rapunzel lifted Cassandra’s shirt over her head and threw it somewhere in the room before recapturing her lip. As the passion grew, so did the movements of the two woman. At first, their kisses were soft and long but now they were desperate, short and harsh. Within seconds, both woman were naked and gripping onto each other like they were the air they needed to breath. Cassandra had to reluctantly pull away for a second. Rapunzel watched her get up and walk to the other side of the room where their dresser was located and grab their little ‘magic worker’. She admired Cassandra’s backside, her eyes trailing her curvy and toned body as she licked her lips.

“I can feel you staring, Raps,” Cassandra suddenly said making Rapunzel snap her eyes back up. Unknowing to Rapunzel, Cassandra was smirking at the fact of how her wife was admiring her body.

“I can’t help it,” Rapunzel mumbled. “Your body is hot.”

Cassandra chuckled before making her way back to the other side of the room. She wasted no time as she crawled back onto the bed and took her position above er. “Yeah?” She asked, a lustful smile on her face.

“Yeah.” Rapunzel responded as she stared into her bluish, almost teal, forest green eyes.

“How much?”

“You’re the hottest person on earth.”

Cassandra chuckled. “I seriously doubt that. You wanna know why?” Cass slowly started to lean forward and stopped short of her lips.

“Why?” Rapunzel whispered, staring at her lips.

“Because you already hold that position.”

“Mm,” Rapunzel responded, barely even paying attention at this point. “I beg to differ.”

“I guess we’ll just agree to disagree then?”

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. “Just shut up and kiss me, will ya?”

Cassandra chuckled darkly, the sound of it sending a shiver down Rapunzel’s spine. Cassandra thrusted into her harshly, making the princess moan. “I don’t think you’re in any position to be making any demands right now, princess~.”

“Oh, yeah?” Rapunzel whispered. “What are you gonna do if I do?”

“Oh, getting ballsy now, are we?”

Rapunzel smirked before grabbing the older woman and pulled her closer so that their lips were not even an inch apart. “I don’t know,” Rapunzel mumbled. “Maybe I’m challenging your dominant position.”

Cassandra’s eyes darkened like never before. If Rapunzel didn’t know better, she’d actually be seriously scared. “Oh, are you now?”

Rapunzel continue to push. “So what if I am?” Maybe she was going too far but if she was being honest, she honestly could care less. She learned a long time ago to not challenge Cassandra’s dominant role in their relationship. She had never fully challenged her so she had no idea how this was gonna go down but a huge part of her was excited. The other half was slightly scared.

“You’re pushing it, Rapunzel.”

Rapunzel only smirked and before Cassandra even knew what was happening, she was suddenly being flipped onto her back and Rapunzel was above her pinning her to the bed. Rapunzel thrusted into her, making Cassandra let out an involuntary moan. “And you called me weak.”

Cassandra let out a dark chuckle. “Do you really wanna play this game? I suggest you stop now while you still can.”

But of course, she didn’t. “Why should I? You aren’t gonna do anything about it.” That made Cassandra snap. At first, she was above Cassandra then suddenly she was practically being thrown off the bed then slammed into the wall. It didn’t hurt, not really, just knocked the wind out of her and surprised the hell out of her.

“You wanna play the role game?” Cassandra spoke, her voice dark and threatening. It sent another shiver down her spine. “Fine, as I said, I have no problem showing you who’s boss.” With that, Cassandra lifted her up so that here’s legs wrapped around her waist and entered her with a swift thrust. Rapunzel threw her head back and moaned deeply in surprise. Cassandra didn’t even wait for her to catch her breath as she started to pound into her, her hand placed behind her head to make sure it didn’t hit the wall. Rapunzel wrapped her arms around the warrior’s neck to steady herself as she used her shoulder to muffle her moans.

No,” She heard Cassandra snarl before she was being shover back. “I wanna hear you scream.”

“B-But-”

“I don’t care,”

“C-Cass, they’ll here-”

“You should’ve thought of that before you challenged me. Maybe if you submit and admit I’m in charge, I’ll be nice.”

Rapunzel was about too but then she stopped and narrowed her eyes. “No.”

“Fine, be stubborn. It’s your funeral.” Cassandra quickened her pace until she was going at a speed that almost seemed inhumane. Rapunzel tried her hardest to muffle her moans but when Cassandra grabbed her hair and pulled her head back to attack her neck, she couldn’t keep them in anymore. “Admit it, Rapunzel.”

“N-No!”

Cassandra’s eyes narrowed and suddenly she was being torn away from the wall then thrown onto the bed. She didn’t even have time to catch her breath before Cassandra was on top of her once more. The warrior entered her with ease all the while lifting one of Rapunzel’s legs over her shoulder and pounded into at a different angle. An angle that made the young woman see stars. The new position sent her into over-stimulation mode as she had her first orgasm. Again, Cassandra neve waited for her to catch her breath before she was being picked up and deposed onto the warrior’s lap, facing the opposite direction. Cassandra reentered her and grabbed her arms and used them to pull her down all the while thrusitng upwards.

From behind, Cassandra grasped the princess’s breast and roughly kneaded them all the while kissing, sucking and biting wherever she could reach. Rapunzel’s moans grew and being still senesitive, she was quickly over-stimulated and had her second orgasm. Cassandra didn’t care about letting her breath at all. The older woman pushed her down roughly before entering her behind and once more started to poud into her. “I can go all night and day, baby,” Cassandra’s panting voice spoke out. “I won’t stop until you admit who’s boss.” At this point, Rapunzel couldn’t even properly speak much less have any thoughts. She heard Cassandra let out a sexy growl. “Rapunzel, admit.” Rapunzel could only shake her head. “Your stubborness is gonna be your downfall.”

“Look…” Rapunzel panted, her voice barely audible. “...who’s talking.”

“Oh, so you’re gonna talk back now?”

“...That’s how a conversation works..”

“I’m sorry it made seem like we were having a conversation.” Cassandra emphaized ‘converation’ with a rough snap of her hips. “And if you keep up with the snarky remarks, you’ll be really, really sorry.”

“Sure I will,” Rapunzel mumbled sarcastically.

Cassandra snarled. “That’s it. I’ve given you enough chances to turn back but you didn’t take them. So now you’re gonna have to pay the price.” Cassandra flipped them over so that she was once more ontop of her before gripping her hands tightly and tied them to the base of the bed with a soft rope. “You’re not allowed to orgasm unless I say so. And if you do, there will be dire consequences.”

“What? But you can’t-”

Cassandra shut her up with a harsh snap of her hips and let out a sexy growl. “I can do whatever the hell I want.” Rapunzel tugged on the ropes but to no use as Cassandra let out a smirk at seeing her wife trapped and at her mercy, writhing beneath her. While still pounding into her, Cassandra trailed her hand up her body before roughly (but not enough to hurt her) grabbing her face and caught her lips in a rough kiss. She shoved her tongue into her mouth and practically ravished her, all the while never stopping her hip thrusts. Untying the rope with one hand, she pulled Rapunzel into a sitting position until she was once more sitting on her lap. Cassandra kept her arms tightly bounded behind her. Cassandra smirked when Rapunzel let out a brief gasp at the new angle. “Did you really think I was gonna make it easy on ya? You are 100% fucking wrong.”

Cassandra kissed her neck from behind as well as gently (because she knew it drove her crazy) rubbed her hands up and down the princess’s body. Rapunzel had to bite her lip to distract herself from orgasming because she knew when Cassandra said ‘dire consequences’ she meant it. Cassandra didn’t stop her torture there though. She was serious when she said she was gonna make it hard for her because with all the little things Cass was doing to her body; her pounding into her, her hands roaming all over her body and her kissing, sucking and biting everywhere she could, Rapunzel was having a hard time keeping it together. And Cassandra knew this because she knew all of Rapunzel’s weak spots. She could practically feel Cassandra’s smirk.

Rapunzel held on for as long as she could but eventually it actually started to hurt. A good hurt but it was still unpleasant to hold out. “U-ugh.. C-Cass, p-p-p-please…”

“Admit who’s boss then.” Rapunzel still stubbornly refused as she stayed quiet. Cassandra let out a small chuckle. “Stubborn as always.” With that, she reached between them and pressed a finger to her clit. Rapunzel stilled, the power of over-stimulation taken her over. Cassandra rubbed. Rapunzel’s body shook as she squeezed her eyes shut to will herself to not orgasm. “Admit it, Rapunzel~.” Cassandra whispered into her ear. With how she practically purred out the words, she knew she got her.

“U-ugh.. F-fine…”

“What was that? I didn’t hear you.” Cassandra responded. “I wanna hear you say it. I wanna hear you say ‘Cassandra, you’re the boss and I promise I won’t ever challenge you again’.”

“T-That’s…” She groaned. “....T-That’s playing d-dirty…”

Cassandra tightened her hold and let out a sexy growl. “Say. It.” Cassandra eventually met her wits ends. Rapunzel tested and pushed every button she could. “Now, Rapunzel!”

Rapunzel couldn’t take it anymore. “Ugh… Cass, y-you’re the b-boss and I pro-promise I won’t ever ch-challenge you again!”

Cassandra smirked. “Good girl.” With that, she pushed down on her clit even harder, finally pushing her over the edge into oblivion. Rapunzel’s mouth went slack, her body tensed and convulsed and she had the most soul-shattering orgasm she’s ever had. Everything else around her faded and she swore she was in outer space. Cassandra fell not to long after her as she gripped her stomach and hid her face in the princess’s shoulder. As soon as Cass could somewhat focus again, she untied the knots with shaky hands and exited her, making Rapunzel immediately fall forward onto her side, panting roughly. Cassandra fell right next to her, also panting, and after a couple minutes when she could actually breath again, she peered over at the unusually silent girl. She looked like she wasn’t even apart of the world they were in. Her eyes were dazed and her chest heaved as she stared up at the ceiling.

“Rapunzel?” Cassandra asked and waved a hand in front of her face. “Earth to Rapunzel?”

It took the young woman a second to come back to Earth before she finally flopped her head to the side, her hair fanning over her face,  and tried to meet the warrior’s eyes. Her eyes were half closed and distant. “...Hm?”

Cassandra chuckled at the obviously dazed girl. “You okay?”

“I can’t feel my body from the neck down…” Rapunzel mumbled, her voice hoarse, tired and distant.

Cassandra chuckled. “I warned you not to push me. But nooo, you didn’t want to listen.”

Cassandra swore Rapunzel tried to roll her eyes but the girl could barely even move. “Just shut up and come here.” Rapunzel mumbled then wrapped her arms around Cassandra’s mid section and cuddled into her side. Cassandra smirked at the fact that she still hadn’t recovered. Rapunzel, despite her eyes being half-open, knew Cassandra and tried to elbow her in the side only for her arm to fall back down and land itself across Cassandra’s stomach. Rapunzel just accepted it at that point and cuddled closer to her.

“I didn’t hurt you, did I?” Rapunzel was able to open one eye, the other being covered by the warrior’s shoulder, and peered up at her.

“You ask that every time.”

“I just wanna make sure...”

Rapunzel’s eye drifted shut once more and she couldn’t help but smile. “I’m fine, Cass. Better than fine actually. But I am definitely not doing that again.”

“Good. You better not.” Cassandra huffed. But the once rough, demanding person was no more and left in its place was a gentle and soft soul as the warrior wrapped an arm around the princess and pulled her in closer before placing a soft kiss to the top of her head. “I love you, Raps.”

Rapunzel smiled and cuddled into her warmth while inhaling the scent she loved so much. The same scent that calmed her and made all her problems disappear for just a second. “I love you too, Cass.”

It was silent for a couple minutes before anyone said anything. “...Raps?” Rapunzel peered up at her in confusion at how pained her voice sound. “I-I know you’re going through a lot but… please, please don’t do anything stupid. I… I can’t lose you again. Not a second time. I would never….” Rapunzel’s heart broke at the way Cassandra swallowed; at how she was trying her hardest to hold back tears. “...I would never be able to recover from that. Maybe you don’t think so now but I do need you… and so does Nova.”

Rapunzel climbed up her body until they were laying face to face. As she stared deeply into Cassandra’s terrified eyes, she couldn’t help but lean forward and catch her lips in a soft, gentle, loving kiss. Cassandra pushed back and despite trying her hardest, a couple tears couldn’t help but escape from her eyes. Rapunzel raised her hand and placed it on the warrior’s cheek and wiped her tears away with her thumb before pulling back. She kept her hand placed on her face and stared deeply into her eyes. “I…” She started. “...I.. I can’t promise something I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to keep.” She hated how much fear showed up in her lovers eyes then. “...But I promise I’ll try.”

Cassandra, realizing that’s all she was gonna get, swallowed again to keep those damn tears in and simply nodded. Rapunzel’s heart clenched. The last thing she wanted to do was cause Cassandra pain but… she really couldn’t promise that. She didn’t trust herself right now. Tears started gathering in her own eyes out of guilt as she quickly wrapped her arms around her stomach and dug her face into her chest. “I’m sorry,” Rapunzel said, her voice shaking and barely audible. “...I don’t want to hurt you. I-I just…” She squeezed her eyes shut, the tears she had been holding for weeks making it back to the surface. This time, she couldn’t hold them back even if she tried. And she tried. She tried so hard. “I’m so s-sorry… I… I j-just…” She couldn’t even get it out. How pathetic was she?

Cassandra’s heart completely shattered at seeing her wife in such a state as she tightly wrapped her arms around the distressed girl and rested her head on top of Rapunzel’s all the while squeezing her eyes shut. “I know,” Cassandra responded. “I know, love.. I know.. We’ll figure this out, okay? Together.” Rapunzel could only simply nod. Minutes passed as Cassandra stayed silent and held the girl, her hand rubbing circles on her back. “...Rapunzel?” She finally said after nearly 15 minutes.

Rapunzel didn’t respond at first and Cass thought she had fallen asleep but eventually she heard a small: “Yeah, Cass?”

“...You know were gonna have to leave, right?”

Rapunzel was silent once more for a minute or two. “Yeah,” She eventually responded. “...I know…” Rapunzel sighed. “...Let’s worry about that tomorrow and just enjoy the time we have now.”

Cassandra nodded and pulled her closer. She paused for a couple seconds before saying: “...I love you more than life itself, you know that right?”

“Yeah,” Rapunzel said quietly, her voice starting to grow distant as intense exhaustion began to take her over. “...I know.” She let out a small yawn. “...I love you too.”

Cassandra didn’t even get to respond because she was out cold as soon as those words left her mouth. Cassandra pulled the covers over them and pressed a soft, lasting kiss to her forehead before she pulled back and said: “I promise, I’ll do everything in my power to fix this. I promised you that I would protect you and let nothing ever harm you. And if that includes protecting you from yourself, then so be it.” Cassandra nuzzled her. “...I love you too much to let you go.” As she drifted off to sleep, she could swear Rapunzel nuzzled even closer against her. She didn’t get to wonder about it though because as soon as her eyes closed, she was out cold just like Rapunzel; the events of the last couple days taking pushing her into a deep, exhausted slumber.
