Rapunzel pretty much dragged Cassandra by the arm towards god-knows-where. “Raps, where are we going?” The warrior asked for like the tenth time.

Rapunzel looked back at her and gave her a brilliant smile. “Stop asking!” She teased. “You’ll see soon.”

Cassandra groaned. “We’ve been walking for like an hour.”

“It’s only been like 45 minutes. Besides, aren’t you the one always rushing us to ‘get a move on’ whenever we’re traveling?”

“Yeah, but I don’t want to go too far away from base. We’re outside the territory now and I don’t want us to risk getting spotted by the shadow figures. Azriel is no doubt pissed after our last encounter and for the time being, he has no idea where you are, and I’d like to keep it that way.”

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. “Oh, stop worrying. Rena gave us some of those papers that destroy the shadows, right? We’re protected.”

“From the shadows, not from Azriel.” Cassandra tilted her head. “Aren’t you the one that was scared that they were gonna find us in the first place?”

Rapunzel let out an exasperated sigh at her lack of ability to just have fun and relax. “Just enjoy the evening and shush. We’ll deal with everything else later.”

“You won’t be saying that when I’m dead in a ditch.”

Rapunzel shot her a half-glare. “That’s not funny.”

“I thought it was pretty funny.”

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. “Of course you did.” She once more grabbed the warrior's arm and started to drag her. again “Now come on, move it!”

Cassandra chuckled. “What’s the hurry?”

“Do you want to be out in the open for very long?” Cassandra thought about it for a second and realized she had a point so she sped up.

-----------------------------------------

Another 10 minutes of walking took place before Rapunzel finally stopped and moved behind Cassandra then she placed her hands over her eyes. “Uh, Raps-” Cassandra started, already uncomfortable with the idea that her guard was down.

But Rapunzel beat her to it. “Don’t worry, I promise it’s not for long.” Cassandra hesitantly nodded as Rapunzel walked her forward. Cassandra counted the steps. 1…. 2… 3… 10… 20... 30… After probably the 35th step, Cassandra spoke up.

“I thought you said this wasn’t supposed to take long?” She felt Rapunzel shift ever so slightly.

“Alright, fine, we’re here Ms. Impatient.”

“Not impatient, just on guard.” She felt Rapunzel roll her eyes before the princess finally uncovered her eyes. “About time- woah,” Cassandra said in disbelief when she finally got sight of where they were. The place they were at was most definitely secluded, with high walls of rock surrounding them. They were still outside but at the same time, they were in a cave that was covering them. The area itself was a sight to behold. Cassandra looked around, taking everything in. The air was mythical - the beautiful area surrounded by wildflowers, fireflies, and a lake that literally glowed blue from the moon's reflection. In the middle was a table, neatly placed with candles and dinner plates. Lights were strung up around the trees, further illuminating the already magical area.

“When did you have time to do this?” Cassandra asked, unable to take her eyes off the scene.

Rapunzel smiled. “I made time,”

Cassandra turned to her upon realizing something. “Wait, you went outside of the territory?”

Rapunzel was fully expecting this question as she rolled her eyes. “Don’t worry, I didn’t go alone.”

“That doesn’t make it any better.”

“How else was I supposed to plan this?”

“How long have you been planning this?”

She shrugged. “About a month.”

Cassandra raised her eyebrow in amusement. “How do you know I was even gonna say yes to a date?”

“Oh, I didn’t care if you said yes or not. It was already happening whether you liked it or not, even if I had to carry you.”

Cassandra laughed, making Rapunzel grin. “I’d like to see you try.”

“I’ve done it before,”

“Carrying me while I was unconscious doesn’t count.”

“It does too,” Rapunzel defended.

“Does not,” Cassandra responded with a teasing grin. Rapunzel merely rolled her eyes and grabbed her non-injured hand and started pulling her towards the table.

“Just shush and come on.” Cassandra chuckled but otherwise followed her. Rapunzel pulled out the chair for her before pushing her in.

Cassandra tilted her head as she rested her head on her hands, already amused with the night's turn of events. “You know, this is supposed to be the other way around.”

“Oh come on, I never get to treat you ever. Let me have this.”

“Fine but only means I’m gonna double all this romance-mushy stuff next time.” Rapunzel shook her head with a smile.

----------------------

The couple spent the night mostly just talking. Rapunzel had made food, and Cassandra still had no idea when she even had the time to do that without her noticing, and they shared a candlelight dinner. They probably spent hours at the table, talking and joking around and just all-in-all enjoying their time together. Eventually, the warrior and the princess moved to the ground to stare up at the night sky filled with stars. They lay on their backs, each woman laying in the opposite direction, the top of their heads touching as they pointed up at the starry sky and talked endlessly about anything and everything. One thing was for sure: It was definitely a romantic evening.

“I gotta give it to ya,” Cassandra said suddenly after minutes of comfortable silence. The warrior moved to her stomach so that she could face Rapunzel. “You really know how to plan and carry out a date.”

Rapunzel giggled and turned onto her side so that she could face the warrior as well. “If you’d let me do it more often…”

“Pft, yeah, no.” Cassandra cut her off. “This was a one-time opportunity.”

Rapunzel rolled her eyes. “What is with you and not wanting to be treated like royalty?”

“Because I’m not royalty.”

“You are, actually,” Rapunzel responded. “Since you’re married to me that makes you a princess,” She paused. “Or, uh, a prince.” She grinned, turning fully towards Cassandra. “You’re a prince-cess.”

Cassandra raised an amused eyebrow. “That’s just princess but expanded.”

“It was the only thing I could come up with to combine the two words.”

“Never thought I’d be considered a ‘princess’.”

“Trust me, no one considers you a princess.” Rapunzel grinned. “You don’t fit the part.”

Cassandra let out an over-exaggerated huff and playfully shoved her, making Rapunzel laugh. “You know that I’m right! You’re like the least likely person to be a princess.”

“Nah, Eugene would be the least likely to be a princess.”

“Are you kidding?” Rapunzel asked with an amused smile. “I think he’d make a great princess! I’d love to see him in a dress.” The thought of Eugene in a dress popped into Cassandra’s head, making her laugh.

“Oh, I’d kill to see Eugene in a dress.”

“Well, if we ever go home, we can dare him.” Cassandra took immediate notice of how Rapunzel’s voice went somber when she mentioned ‘home’ before the princess quickly tried to cover it up.

Cassandra merely smiled and hooked her fingers together, raising their joined hands to eye level. “We’ll return one day, I promise.”

“You can’t promise that,” Rapunzel whispered, her mask slipping as she showed the pain and homesickness that Cassandra heard just a second prior in her voice.

“I can,” Cassandra responded. “We’ll find a way to take Azriel down. We always figure out a way.”

Rapunzel sighed and looked away. “I sure hope so,” Rapunzel paused before something popped into her head. “Actually, I uh… I have to tell you something.”

Cassandra tilted her head before she brought herself to a sitting position, and Rapunzel followed. “...Okay.” Cassandra said hesitantly. “What is it?”

Rapunzel took a second to gather her thoughts. “A couple of weeks ago, I had this… dream.” She started. This was going to be a dangerous conversation. She was heading into a territory that she knew could end up setting the warrior off.

“That’s not unusual, you said you’ve been having a lot of them the last couple of months.”

“...Yeah, but this one was different. It was after we first got here, after the last fight with Azriel. The other ones I've been having have been more of... nightmares. But this one was just…” She trailed off. “...It felt different. I felt like I was there, that I was awake. And…” She trailed off again, still hesitant.

Cassandra could tell that she was avoiding whatever she wanted to tell her. For what reason? She didn’t know. “Get to the point, Raps.”

“.... I think it was a message.” She said quickly hesitantly.

The warrior just gave her a confused look. “Okay… What kind of message?”

“A message… I think that we need to follow.” She finally got out. She searched the warriors' expression but it remained neutral. She knew that Cassandra most likely wouldn't go for it, considering they already had a goal in mind and Cassandra rarely ever changed her mind when she already had a goal set. And especially since this was all coming from a dream, it was a dangerous path to take because they didn’t know if it meant anything or not.

“...What was this message?” Cassandra asked hesitantly. Rapunzel could already hear the creeping doubt and hesitance in her voice; and even slight aggravation.

“They told me to… ‘follow the pulse’,” Rapunzel responded hesitantly. “And to follow ‘the northern star’. I think… I think we need to go north.” That last part, Rapunzel had the most hesitance on.

That’s it?” Cassandra asked. Rapunzel could definitely hear the aggravation in her voice now. Just as she expected. “You want us to completely change our direction because of two sentences you heard in a dream? Rapunzel, it could end up leading us into a death trap. And say that this dream did mean anything, why would it send us north? What’s over there that’s so important? For all you know, it could be Azriel messing with your thoughts again and we could end up walking right into his trap with Nova.” Cassandra said through clenched teeth.

Rapunzel was fully expecting this reaction. She knew Cassandra and she knew that there was nothing more important to her than their safety, especially hers, and when that safety was threatened, she tended to get over-protective, which resulted in her coming off as harsh and even mean. The princess was fully ready for all her frustration and aggravation when she brought up this conversation. She didn’t want the night to end in a fight, so she kept herself easily calm and her voice level.

“Look, I know it’s a long shot, but-”

“A long shot? No, Rapunzel, it’s not just a ‘long-shot’. It’s plain dangerous and stupid-”

“Cass-” Rapunzel tried to intervene.

But Cassandra just kept going. “What if this ‘dream’ ends up meaning nothing and we’d go north, with Azriel and his shadows on our tails, and when we get there, we find nothing? Huh? Did you even thin-” Which each word that passed, it became more bitter and passive-aggressive. Rapunzel waited for her to get it out of her system but when she tried to call her name again only to be cut off and dismissed, Rapunzel got frustrated. Cassandra kept going and eventually, Rapunzel finally had enough.

“Ugh, Cassandra, would you just listen to me for once?!” Cassandra immediately paused, taken off guard by Rapunzel suddenly raising her voice at her. Before Cassandra started to talk again, because the princess could see the warrior’s face morph into offense, so before she could explode, Rapunzel started talking quickly. “I know that it’s dangerous, I know that it’s a stupid plan, but no matter what path we take, it’s going to be dangerous! You told me that we’d figure this out but we can’t do that if you refuse to hear any other options or any of my ideas! I don’t want to put you or Nova in any more danger than I already have - but Azriel is after me. The shadow people are terrorizing villages because of me, we are in danger because of me. Even if we do make it to Ingvarr, what’s your plan after that? To stay there forever while Azriel continues to destroy villages and kill innocent lives??”

Cassandra didn’t respond, she merely looked away. Rapunzel sighed before giving her a serious expression as she tried to meet her eye contact. “I am tired of running,” Rapunzel said in a much softer tone, but still a serious one. Cassandra remet her eye contact because of it. “It isn’t gonna solve anything. And you’re the one who taught me that. Running away from Azriel, hiding, hiding me, it’s going to make things worse. We’ll be on the run for the rest of our lives because no matter what we do, Azriel will find a way to get to me. And do you really want that kind of life for Nova? For us? For anyone?”

Again, the warrior didn’t respond. But she didn’t look away this time. “Look, I know you’re scared. I am too. But no matter what path we take, my life will be in danger. And as long as Azriel is around, it always will be. But if we have even a slither of a chance to stop him - shouldn’t we take that chance? I know that this dream could mean nothing but something…. Something is pulling me, Cassandra. I don’t know what but I know that there’s something out there that’s trying to lead me to it. And…” She trailed off. Her expression changed to one of desperation. “It could be the answer I’ve been searching for. The answer that we need. The answer that I need. And… a-and.. I have to follow it. I let you leave to go search for your destiny, your purpose despite how scared I was that you were gonna get hurt or even worse, and I am asking - no, I am begging you - that you do the same for me and trust me a-as your wife, as your best friend, as your other half - t-that … that I know that there is something out there. You told me - you promised me - that you wouldn’t make all the decisions on where we go on your own.” Rapunzel paused to take a deep inhale of breath, before adding in a quieter tone. “I trusted you, I followed your lead, I have done everything you asked out here as I promised. Now I am asking you to trust me and follow my lead.” Cassandra merely stared at her. “...Please.” She begged.

Rapunzel held her breath as she waited for Cassandra to respond. She knew that most likely, her words wouldn’t work. Cassandra was stubborn and when it came to their safety, especially hers, the warrior wasn’t easily deterred. But then Cassandra suddenly let out an exasperated sigh. “...Are you sure, Rapunzel?” Rapunzel slowly nodded.

“I haven’t been more sure of anything in a long time than I am about this.” She whispered.

Something shifted in the warrior's eyes before she let out another sigh. “Okay,” She said simply.

Rapunzel actually pulled back in surprise. Did Cassandra just agree? “Okay?”

Cassandra nodded. “Okay.”

“Really?” Rapunzel asked, hope and excitement rising in her voice.

“Keep asking and I might change my mind.” Rapunzel didn’t even consider the last comment as she pretty much threw herself into Cassandra’s arms.

“Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!” She exclaimed, tightly hugging the warrior.

Even though Cassandra tried not to, she couldn't help but crack a smile. But then her smile dropped and she immediately went back into a serious mode as she gently pushed the princess back by her shoulders. “But there’s gonna be rules.”

Rapunzel merely gave her a brilliant smile, the princess was nearly bouncing on her knees. “As expected.”

“First - you finally have to let me teach you how to use a sword.”

Rapunzel nodded enthusiastically. “Second, we are gonna be as cautious as humanly possible; which means no running off or leaving my sight, and no running towards danger, no matter how much your curiosity peaks you. If it looks dangerous, then it is dangerous and even if it’s not, we are going to treat it as such.”

Rapunzel nodded. “Done and done.”

“Third, we can’t take Nova with us.” Rapunzel gave her a surprised expression at that. “I’ve been north and it’s not any safer than it is around here. Actually, it’s more dangerous.”

“Well… what are we going to do with her? It’s not like we can go back to Corona to drop her off.”

“I think she should stay here.” Again, Rapunzel pulled back in surprise. “Azriel and his shadows cannot enter the territory, it would be the safest place for her.”

“I thought you didn't trust the people of this town?” Rapunzel asked with her head tilted.

“I don’t but she’s safer here than she is out there.”

“She’s not gonna be happy with us.”

“Maybe not but she’ll understand when she’s older.”

Rapunzel slowly nodded. “Any more rules?”

“Yeah,” Cassandra said before she crawled forward and got in between Rapunzel’s legs then got dangerously close to her face with narrowed eyes. “Raise your voice at me again and there will be issues.”

Rapunzel blushed deeply. “In my defense, you wouldn’t shut up.” She mumbled, her eyes trailing to her lips. Cassandra’s lips slowly formed into a smirk as she grabbed the princess’s shirt and pulled her into her. The princess’s eyes immediately snapped back up to hers as Cassandra's forest green-teal-ish eye basically stared into her soul.

“There are other ways…” The warrior trailed off, running her hands up her arms in a sensual way, causing the princess to stiffen. “...to get me to shut up.”

“Mmm,” Rapunzel hummed. “But are there ways to get me to shut up?”

“Oh, I’m sure I can come up with a couple of ways. The question is: Are you willing to find out?”

“Oh, trust me, I’m willing.”

Cassandra smirked and pressed a ghost of a kiss to her lips. Rapunzel decided that she wasn’t one for the teasing tonight. She grabbed the warrior's shirt and pulled her down to meet her lips. Cassandra, although taken off guard, pressed back. She leaned forward and placed her hand on her cheek to pull her even closer to her. Rapunzel dug her hand into Cassandra’s hair at the back of her head and pushed her even closer.

Eventually, after a minute, they pulled away but their lips were still barely an inch apart as they panted softly. “We didn’t bring the thing,” Rapunzel whispered, her voice heated.

Cassandra gave her a heated smirk. “We don’t need it.” Before Rapunzel could figure out what was happening, she was suddenly on her feet and pushed into a tree, Cassandra’s lips connected to hers. The warrior smirked into the kiss as she lifted one of Rapunzel’s legs against her hip then thrust forward, causing Rapunzel to throw her head back and moan. “I can pleasure you just fine without it.”

Rapunzel gave her a mischievous grin, the type of grin that she always did before she was about to do something that would get her in trouble. Rapunzel looked her up and down before smirking. “I don’t Cass,” She purred. Cassandra’s eyes were already narrowed. “It’s been so long since the last time we didn’t have the thing.” She tilted her head. “Sure you can still… follow through?”

Cassandra made a humming sound as she leaned forward ever so slightly, her lips inches away from Rapunzel’s, but not quite touching. “Are you sure that you wanna keep testing me tongiht? I promise that it won’t end very well for you.”

Rapunzel merely gave her a smirk before she wrapped her arms around her neck then sensually flattened her hands on her shoulders, sliding them ever so slightly; knowing what it would do to the warrior. “So far all I’ve heard is talk and no action,” She responded. She could practically feel the warrior's narrowed eyes staring into her soul, warning her not to do this. But Rapunzel continued anyway. “...Or maybe you’re not as good as you thought?” That did it. Cassandra quickly picked her up, her legs wrapping around her waist, and caused a surprised squeak to leave Rapunzel.

Cassandra leaned forward, her eyes dangerously narrowed. Rapunzel pulled back ever so slightly, her face exploded into color. Cassandra seemed to just stare at her for a second before she responded with: “You’re really starting to test my patience.” Rapunzel nearly shivered at how demanding, threatening, and hot it sounded.

An idea for a response popped into her mind after Cassandra said that. “Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it…” Rapunzel chanted to herself in her mind. But despite one side of her knowing that this probably wasn’t gonna end well for her, her inner brat still decided to come out. Rapunzel gave Cassandra a heated smirk. “What patience?” Something flipped in Cassandra’s eyes as they narrowed even more and she pressed herself closer. “You said it…” Rapunzel mentally groaned. Cassandra went quiet and that’s what scared the princess the most.

As the warrior pretty much towered over her; her intense stare caused Rapunzel to slightly cower and she quickly looked away from her eye contact, her face probably as red as a tomato at this point. “Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap…”

But suddenly, Cassandra chuckled darkly. The princess tensed. The warrior grabbed her face with a demanding grip, but still a gentle one, and forced her to meet her eyes. "You just always have to go the extra mile, don’t you?"

Rapunzel grinned. “Always,” Rapunzel responded despite her instincts telling her to back dow now.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes again and leaned forward, her lips brushing against Rapunzel’s. “Yeah, well, guess what?” Cassandra smirked ‘evilly’. Rapunzel leaned back ever so slightly but she couldn’t go very far considering she was pushed against a tree. “I can make you scream with or without the toy,” She finished, her voice low and hot. With that, she caught Rapunzel’s lips in a hot and dominant kiss. The warrior pushed her tongue into her mouth and basically ravished her mouth. Rapunzel kissed her back to the best of her ability but Cassandra was making it increasingly hard to focus considering she was doing small hip thrusts into her. It was enough to cause lightning sparks to spread throughout Rapunzel’s body but it wasn’t enough to satisfy her. And of course, Cassandra knew this.

The warrior became more demanding and desperate with her kisses as she rocked against her. Rapunzel moaned into the kiss which made Cassandra smirk. The warrior pulled back. “Still think that I can’t ‘follow through’?”

“You still haven’t proved anything…” Rapunzel mumbled, her voice more heated than Cassandra has heard from her in a long time.

“Oh baby, we’re just getting started,” Cassandra said with a smirk. The warrior recaught her lips and pushed down on her hips so that she would unhook her legs from around her waist. She continued to ravish her mouth before she slid her hand down her body and without warning her, slipped it into her underwear. As soon as the warrior made contact, the princess couldn’t help but throw her head back and moan. Cassandra pulled her hand back out, causing a cute frustrated groan to arise out of Rapunzel, and held it up, her smirk widening when she realized how wet and sticky her hand was.

"Your body says different, Rapunzel.” The warrior said, her voice low. The princess didn’t respond. “Quiet now, are we?” Rapunzel merely narrowed her eyes. Cassandra chuckled darkly and leaned forward until her lips were brushing against Rapunzel’s. “Let me change that.”

With that, she resumed kissing her and much like before, she slipped her hand into her underwear. But this time the warrior entered the princess with three fingers, pumping in and out slightly.

Rapunzel couldn’t hold onto the warrior’s lips anymore as her head fell back against the tree with a surprised moan. Cassandra started to attack her neck, leaving kisses, nips, and wet trails wherever she could. She quite literally fingered the princess while she worked on other parts of her body. Rapunzel was no doubt moaning at this point, no matter how hard she tried not to. But then she bit her lip to silence herself. If Cassandra wanted to ‘win’ she was gonna have to do better than what she was doing.

Cassandra looked back up to meet her eyes when she heard the princess go silent other than a couple of moans here and there escaping from between her lips. A smirk spread across her face. “Oh, I see,” She purred. “You wanna still test me?” She asked, her voice even lower than before. “Because I have no problem showing you what I’m truly capable of. Actually, I’d love nothing more than to show you.” The princess didn’t respond, she just narrowed her eyes back at Cassandra in challenge.

The warriors' smirk turned into something… darker and more sinister. It almost made Rapunzel shiver. Rapunzel didn’t know why she was challenging the warrior, she knew that most likely she wouldn’t win, but something in her just kept making her… defiant. She wondered how far she could actually take this. “I’ll get you screaming my name in no time, just watch.” Cassandra also had no idea where this new attitude came from but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't thoroughly enjoying it.

Rapunzel looked the warrior up and down before raising an eyebrow. She narrowed her eyes in challenge again. “Then prove it.” She realized quickly that she probably shouldn’t have said that. The warrior's smirk fell and she did what Rapunzel did just a couple of seconds prior, she looked her up and down, a look in her eyes that Rapunzel had never saw in her before. Cassandra licked her lips and it almost made Rapunzel’s legs weak.

The warrior’s dominant, dark eyes suddenly met her own again. “I’ll give you 3 seconds to turn this around,” She said, her voice low and dark. She's never heard Cassandra say that before. “...1…” She started. Rapunzel thought about turning back and giving in to the warrior’s demands. On one hand, she knew that if she continued, she’d probably be very sorry. “...2..” But on the other… she had already taken it this far. Why not push it the rest of the way? Besides that, she loved when Cassandra was like this.

Unlike most times where she would ‘submit’ even with the slightest bit of pressure, she didn’t want to do that tonight. At least, not yet. She was too stubborn to let the warrior win. Cassandra would have to force the submission out of her. She wasn’t gonna give in so easily this time. Cassandra seemed to pause, probably giving Rapunzel an extra chance to turn back, but the princess didn’t. Cassandra narrowed her eyes, Rapunzel did the same. “3.”

Cassandra didn’t even give the princess a second to prepare. As soon as she said three, Rapunzel was slammed against the tree; her hands pinned above her head and her lips were on hers. She kissed her with dominance and passion and Rapunzel found it impossible to keep up.

Cassandra pulled back and fixed her with a half-glare, a look in her eyes that Rapunzel had never seen before. “Just remember, I gave you every opportunity to turn back but you didn’t take it.” Cassandra didn’t even let Rapunzel respond, not that she was going to anyway, as she ripped her clothes to shreds.

Rapunzel didn’t get to protest because the warrior started to immediately attack her breasts. Rapunzel couldn’t help but throw her head back and moan as the warrior pretty much ravished her breasts. She bit, nipped, licked, and left marks; switching between both of them now and then. With her free hand, the one that wasn’t holding Rapunzel’s arms, pushed back into Rapunzel's underwear and started to rub. Rapunzel bit back a moan and although she didn’t want to stop, her worry for Cassandra’s well-being was by far tstrongerthan her stubbornness. “C-Cass… your hand..” She said, her eyes half-open.

“You should have thought of that before you tested every single fucking button that I have.” She responded, her voice harsher than usual. In all honesty, it turned Rapunzel on even more.

“Let’s just say, it's my final ‘gift’ to you for our anniversary,”

“Yeah, well, this ‘gift’ is gonna cost you.”

“Well, my clothes are already destroyed, so,”

Cassandra chuckled darkly. “That’s not the part you should be worried about.” Before Rapunzel could respond, the warrior recaught her lips. Cassandra entered her once more but this time, she arched her fingers upwards, hitting a spot that she knew Rapunzel wouldn’t be able to ignore. And she was right. A surprised half-moan, half-yelp arose out of the princess before Rapunzel bit her lower lip and squeezed her eyes shut.

She could practically feel Cassandra’s smirk. Suddenly, she was torn away from the tree and pushed to the ground. Cassandra immediately took her position above her before she tied her hands to a big branch. Cassandra smirked at the realization that her princess was completely under her mercy.

Cassandra massaged her breasts and rubbed in all her sensitive areas, but Rapunzel remained strong. She was biting her lip so hard she drew blood, her eyes squeezed tightly shut. Cassandra chuckled, it was time to stop playing around. She knew exactly how to get her screaming. She slowly started to kiss down her body - kissing, nipping, and sucking all exposed skin, leaving trail marks of saliva and bite marks.

Rapunzel realized where she was heading and she tried to pull away but with her hands tied, she didn’t get very far. In a final act of desperation, Rapunzel squeezed her legs shut with everything she had. But Cassandra was stronger. The warrior spread her legs back open with ease despite Rapunzel using everything that she had to keep them shut. She sometimes forgot how strong Cassandra really was. But she didn’t have time to think about that for she felt a warm, wet sensation enter her. Rapunzel threw her head back in surprise as Cassandra pretty much started to eat her out. Rapunzel’s resolve was starting to break but she still held strong.

It took literally everything she had to hold back her moans. A couple escaped from in between her lips, coming out as "mmm". But the princess wasn’t budging.

She pulled on her bindings but to no prevail of getting free. If Cassandra was being honest, she didn’t think that Rapunzel was gonna hold out this long. But she knew that it wouldn’t last forever because she could already feel her resolve slipping. She heard a slight gasp and a moan escape from Rapunzel’s lips but so far, that’s all she had gotten. Cassandra pulled away for a second, wiping her mouth ever so slightly. “You can’t hold out forever, Rapunzel~. You know that I’m just too good.”

“W-Wa-Watch me…” Cassandra only let out a dark chuckle at her stupid determination.

“Fine, if that’s how you want to play it…” Cassandra suddenly picked up her behind so that she was slightly off the ground and started to eat her out from that position. Due to her being on her knees, Cassandra had much more access to what she wanted to do. The position was doing wonders for Rapunzel and she almost gave in. Cassandra smirked. Now to put an end to this little ‘game’… Cassandra wasn’t about to let the princess win so she went at it with everything she had. She paid special attention to her clit, sucking and rolling it with her tongue. But then she added four fingers and arched upwards. Rapunzel’s mouth went slack and from that point on, she couldn’t hold them back anymore.

She threw her head back, her chest heaving, as the moans started to come out of her. As promised, it wasn’t long before they grew in volume to the point where she was nearly screaming. “There we go…” Cassandra mumbled while she did her work. “Yeah, that’s it…” She switched areas and started to thrust her tongue into her while she rubbed her clit with the palm of her hand.

“Oh god…” Rapunzel moaned, her body already shaking from the force of the pleasure.

“That’s not the name you should be saying,” Cassandra spoke up. “Come on Rapunzel, admit it, no matter what we have, I can still have you screaming my name in no time.”

Rapunzel barely even heard her. The pleasure that she was bringing her was blinding her senses and her moans grew even more when Cassandra switched her strategy again. “Come on Raps, scream my name. Tell the world who you belong to; tell the world who makes you feel this good."

"Mmmm…" Rapunzel moaned and it sounded like she tried to say her name only for it to come out in broken syllables. It only made Cassandra's smirk widen.

"You lost; accept it and give in." Cassandra could tell that she was close but instead of letting her reach climax, she slowed down a bit; all the while still pleasuring her but it wasn't enough to push her over the edge.

Rapunzel decided screw it; she needed that release. "Mmmm… C-Cas... C-Cassandra…"

"That’s my good girl," Cassandra responded, speeding up her work once more. "Louder."

"C-Cassandra….!" She tried, and she honestly did, but her voice was already hoarse from moaning so much that it made it hard for her to raise her voice again.

"Oh come on now, I know you can do better than that. You were screaming at me earlier, how about you put some of that passion into doing what I ask, hm?"

"I-I'm t-t-trying…" Rapunzel was able to make out.

"If you were trying, you would've done it already. If you can stubbornly refuse to back down, then you can most certainly do this." She smirked. "Let me make it easier for you." Cassandra somehow added a fifth finger and arched upwards again. This time, she thrust up roughly and sucked on her clit at the same time.

"A-A-Ah!" Rapunzel yelled.

Cassandra pulled back slightly but she didn't stop thrusting upwards. "See? You can yell just fine. Now," She placed one hand on her stomach to keep her in place before pretty much burying her face into her womenhood and started to go at it like never before. But she still didn't give Rapunzel enough stimulation to let her climax. "Scream my name and I promise you I'll make sure I bring you into sweet, sweet relief."

Rapunzel had never been more turned on and wet in her life. Cassandra still had her slightly lifted off the ground and she was so wet that her 'juices', mixed with Cassandra's salvia, were quite literally running down her stomach.

Cassandra must've gotten frustrated by the fact that she still wasn't complying, even though it technically wasn't her fault, because the warrior let out a sexy growl and gripped her behind even tighter, leaving bruises. "Now, Rapunzel!"

Screw it. "Cassandra!"

Cassandra picked up her pace. "Louder!"

"CASSANDRA!"

Cassandra smirked. "About fucking time!" With that, she wrapped her lips around her clit and sucked, while thrusting upwards harshly.

That did it. Rapunzel's mouth went slack, her body convulsed, and she probably had the best orgasm that she's had in her life. Her senses were momentarily stunned as she rode out her orgasm. It took her a full two minutes before she could even breathe and her senses started to return to her. When her senses returned, she was met with a smirking Cassandra; the type of smirk she always wore after knowing that she just dominated the shit out of her. And won.

Rapunzel's chest was still heaving and she could still feel shockwaves throughout her body. The pleasure was so much that she almost had a second orgasm by just slightly moving her legs. Cassandra's smirk widened when Rapunzel couldn't even talk and her dazed eyes looked back up at her. She was panting and her body was still shaking.

"Still think I can't follow through?" Cassandra asked with a smirk once she could tell that Rapunzel was aware enough to be able to see or hear her.

The princess was rendered speechless if she was being honest. So much so that she actually agreed. "I'll never doubt you again." She finally responded, her voice hoarse and heavy.

Cassandra was even surprised that she admitted defeat. Damn, she must've been good. Cassandra instead leaned forward and caught Rapunzel's lips in a softer, more loving kiss than the ones before. That was always Rapunzel's favorite part: watching Cassandra go from the scariest, roughest, most dominating, almost meanest person in the world to the gentlest, sweetest, most affectionate, and most loving person in the world.

Cassandra then pulled back and fixed her with a half-smirk,

half-teasing smile. "Haven't you learned that by now?" But then Cassandra raised an amused eyebrow. "What got into you all of a sudden?"

Rapunzel gave her a sheepish smile. "I have no idea, honestly."

"Well, you should do it again some other time."

It was Rapunzel's turn to give her an amused smile. "I thought you didn't like me challenging your 'dominance.'" She said with air quotes.

Cassandra suddenly grabbed her hips and pulled her into her body, causing a cute squeak of a surprise to escape Rapunzel. "You know I always love a challenge~." She said, her voice low and sultry again.

Rapunzel let out an exasperated sigh. "Ugh, Cass, I don't think I can take anymore." She groaned.

"Hm, that's a new one," Cassandra responded, giving her a heated smirk. "I've never been so good that I was too good for you. And I did that all without the toy."

"You didn't even use it, and I still feel like my insides are broken. I can't even feel the bottom half of my body." Cassandra's smirk only widened. She knew that she was only boosting her ego but honestly, she deserved it this time. "I'll give it to you, that was amazing."

Cassandra leaned forward and brushed Rapunzel's lips with her own. "Well, would you look at that? I got Princess Rapunzel to admit that I was right."

Rapunzel only made a cute huffing noise. "Don't get used to it."

"I told you that I could have you screaming my name without the toy."

"You're gonna really boast about this, aren't you?"

"Hell yeah!" Cassandra said with a grin. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I'm gonna soak it up while I can. Just like how you did with this date." Rapunzel rolled her eyes. But even though she tried not to, she couldn't help but smile.

"I'll only let you do it 'cause it's our anniversary."

She was suddenly pulled back into Cassandra. "I think we both know that you don't 'let' me do anything." Her voice was dark again. She knew the warrior was just teasing her, at least for the most part, but Rapunzel's face immediately exploded into color anyway as she pushed Cassandra away.

"Stop it." She responded bashfully, looking in the other direction, her face red.

"Aw, are you all flustered now?" Cassandra asked with a tilt of her head, knowing what it would do to the princess.

"Meanie," Rapunzel responded. "Don't do that."

Cassandra smiled and tilted her head again, her hair falling forward slightly. "Don’t do what?"

"That. Stop being so cute."

Instead of getting defensive like she usually would when compared with that word, Cassandra pulled her into her again before nuzzling her, causing Rapunzel to giggle. "Why?"

"Because it's not very becoming of you," The princess responded.

"Oh yeah?"

"Mhm."

"Well, then that means I can't do…" The warrior trailed off before suddenly pulling Rapunzel in her arms and then started to nuzzle her neck while slightly tickling her sides.

Rapunzel burst out into laughter. "Cassss, stop it!" She tried to push her away but the warrior wouldn't budge. Eventually, the warrior let the princess breathe before giving her one final nuzzle on her face. As Rapunzel looked into her eyes, she couldn't help but think… God, could she love anyone more than she loved this woman sitting right in front of her?

Rapunzel eventually gave her one of her sweeter smiles, the smile only reserved for Cassandra, and pushed her bangs out of her eyes. "I love you," She said genuinely.

Cassandra smiled and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I love you too."

"I don't know what I'd do without you."

Cassandra looked down and gave her a teasing smile. "Well, you'd be sexually frustrated, that's for sure. And you'd probably get yourself killed or kidnapped within an hour."

Rapunzel laughed, causing Cassandra to grin. "Or both."

"Most likely both."

"Seriously, though," Rapunzel said genuinely. She placed her hand on her cheek and rubbed it lovingly with her thumb. "I'm lucky I have you."

Honestly, Cassandra was taken off guard by this sudden declaration. She was used to Rapunzel being sincere and mushy but she had never seen such love and admiration in Rapunzel's eyes before. And the way she was touching her cheek… she could practically feel all the love pouring into her body, her heart, her soul. It honestly caused tears to well up in her eyes as she grasped Rapunzel's hand and held it up before she intertwined their fingers.

"Yeah.." Cassandra responded as she gave Rapunzel what she hoped was the same look that the princess was giving her. "I'm lucky I have you too."

Cassandra's eyes held the same look as they stared deeply into Rapunzel's golden-green hues. It was just said so genuine… and the look in her eyes was just so.. Rapunzel couldn't even describe it. Much like Cassandra, she felt tears of her own well up in her eyes. She pressed forward and caught Cassandra's lips in a soft, loving kiss.

Cassandra's eyes slowly fluttered shut as the warrior raised her hand and dug it into her hair to pull her closer. The kiss lasted for a good 15 seconds before they pulled away and just stared into each other's eyes for a second.

Rapunzel suddenly smiled at her and intertwined their fingers again. "Thank you… for listening to me." She started. "And for agreeing to go on this crazy adventure with me." She looked down. "I know that it's risky, and…"

Cassandra didn't let her continue. She hooked her fingers under her chin before gently lifting her head. "Hey, it wouldn't be the first time we went on a crazy adventure together to find your destiny." She smiled and lovingly rubbed her thumb across her chin in a loving manner. "But unlike last time, I'll be with you until the very end and then some. I promise."

"I sure hope so," Rapunzel teased before she gave her a watery smile and looked at their joined hands before placing them over her heart and added with confidence: "I know you will, Cass."

Cassandra smiled and nuzzled her before pulling back. "Besides, if you really think that the answer you've been searching for is whatever is at the end of this journey then I'm willing to take that risk."

Rapunzel gave her a half smile. "You don't think I'm gonna find what I'm looking for, huh?"

"I think…" Cassandra leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. "... that something is calling you. But as for the answers you've been searching for… I think they're closer than you think." She pulled back a bit so she could look her in the eyes. "As much as I want to not run towards the unknown, if you really think that that's where you need to go and you feel this pull, then who am I to say that you can't?"

Rapunzel brought her burned hand up to her mouth and placed a gentle kiss on the top of it before holding it to her heart again. "I know that you worry," She suddenly said. "About me especially… and I just wanna say that I really, really, sincerely appreciate you doing this for me… and I really appreciate you... And everything you do and have done for me."

Cassandra merely gave her a sweet smile and flattened her palm against Rapunzel's chest. "I should've taken your feelings into consideration a long time ago."

Rapunzel gave her a slightly ashamed smile. "In your defense, for a while there, I didn't exactly make it easy on you. And what I wanted..." She looked down. "....wasn't something that you could let me do."

Cassandra redirected her eyes back up to hers. "But you're doing so much better now," Cassandra said with a genuine smile. "And I'm proud of you."

Rapunzel let out a slightly watery giggle. "I guess you and Nova nearly dying because of my own stupidity really knocked some sense into me."

"Oh come on, I had a part to play in it too."

"Maybe a little..." Rapunzel said with a teasing smile.

Cassandra let out an overexaggerated huff. "A little? Do you know how much convincing it took to actually get you to eat?"

Rapunzel giggled. "You mean the type of convincing where you threw an apple at me and demanded me to eat it?"

"Yeah, you still deserve a punishment for that response you gave me."

"Oh come on, you can't hold me on that; I wasn't myself."

Instead of flustering her more, that word caught her off guard as she gave the princess a smile with her head tilted. "Yourself?" She asked slight hope in her voice.

"Yeah…" Rapunzel responded with a small smile as she looked down. "...myself." She was quiet for a second before looking back up to meet Cassandra's eyes. "I'm still figuring out who that is but… I'm starting to figure some of it out. For one," Rapunzel raised her hand and placed it on her cheek. "I know that when I'm with you, I am me." She paused. "Whoever that is." She waved her hand nonchalantly.

Cassandra smiled and nuzzled her. "Well, glad you figured that part out, but you're just starting to see that now?" She teased, causing Rapunzel to laugh.

"I guess so," She said with a smile and a shrug.

"Better late than never."

"Well, when it comes to you, I'm usually pretty late when… realizing things."

"Oh, you mean how it took you 5 years before you figured out that you were in love with me?"

Rapunzel narrowed her eyes. "Actually, it was like 3 years because I started realizing it after you left." She looked the warrior up and down. "And what about you? How long did it take before you realized you were in love with me?"

"Uh," Cassandra gave her a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of her neck. "...It only took about a month."

"A month?!" Rapunzel asked in surprise. "And you said that you hated me!" She teased.

Cassandra huffed. "I did not say 'hate'."

"Maybe not but you told Ms. Crowley that you 'couldn't stand me'."

"How did you-"

Rapunzel giggled and booped the tip of her nose with her index finger. "People eavesdrop and talk, Cass."

"Eugene heard it and told you, didn't he?"

Rapunzel looked away at being caught. "....yeah."

"Thought so," Cassandra responded before she realized something. "Wait, if you knew that I said that, you still wanted to be friends with me?"

Rapunzel shrugged. "Well, yeah. I mean, I could hardly blame you. Being put in charge of a free-spirited, previously isolated princess is hard. And even then, I knew that I could be a bit… much sometimes. Besides, I really just needed a friend. Someone I could count on that wasn't Eugene. And since you were already basically my guide and my protector, I already considered you as my closest confidant and I wasn't gonna let some stupid comment get in the way of what could turn out to be a beautiful friendship. And I was right." Rapunzel giggled. "What I wasn't expecting was that come 10ish years, I would be literally screaming underneath you."

Cassandra chuckled. "I think we're way past just friendship."

"Like the wedding rings don't prove that."

"Once upon a time ago, you called me your 'sister'."

Rapunzel groaned. "Don't remind me. No wonder you nearly blew my head off when I called you my 'sister' after you revealed the stuff with Gothel."

Cassandra snorted. "Oh yeah, that one stung like hell."

Rapunzel giggled. "I can only imagine. I was pretty stupid then."

"Eh, more like oblivious and naive. But it wasn't technically your fault, you were stuck in a tower for most of your life and were sheltered from pretty much everything. You were like a baby taking its first steps into the real world. And I should've taken that into consideration then... You know, before I decided to destroy Corona and attack you."

"Actually, you attacked me and then destroyed Corona.” Rapunzel teased. “But oblivious and naive or not, I needed to learn that my actions had... consequences." She looked down, staring at Cassandra’s recently re-burnt hand.

Cassandra smiled. "Everyone needs to learn that Raps," Cassandra responded, making Rapunzel look back up at her. "Usually, you learn that as a kid, but since you were never given the chance to make mistakes, you had to learn it way later."

"I just wish it didn't take me hurting you to learn it…"

"I think that you needed to hurt me," Cassandra said, surprising Rapunzel. "So that I could learn some lessons of my own."

Rapunzel pushed herself slightly closer so that her body was pressed against Cassandra's. "And I needed you to hurt me so that I could learn them too."

"I'm just glad that I didn't end up killing you."

"Oh yeah, me too,” Rapunzel admitted with a teasing smile. “Thank goodness that it didn't come to that then, hm?"

Cassandra smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. "Yeah..." Rapunzel smiled in response and closed her eyes, leaning into her.

Rapunzel reopened her eyes after a couple of seconds and nuzzled the warrior. "You really are my dream come true, you know that?"

Cassandra gave her one of her sweeter smiles. "And you're mine."

Rapunzel returned the smile. "Now, come on," The warrior suddenly said and started to get up. Rapunzel gave her a confused expression.

"Where are we going?"

"Going for a swim,"

"Cass, if I get into that water, I might drown. My insides are still broken."

Cassandra rolled her eyes and grabbed the princess's arms and easily hauled her up with her. "Stop being such a wuss and come on already."

"Fine, fine," Rapunzel muttered but as soon as she took a step, she nearly fell if it weren't for Cassandra catching her.

Cassandra grinned at her. "I really did a number on you, huh?"

Rapunzel groaned. "I think you broke something."

Cassandra laughed. "Nah, I'm pretty good at my job; I know when it's too much that it’ll cause lasting injuries."

"Then why does it feel like my insides are ripped to shreds?"

"It's your own fault," Cassandra gave her a half reprimanding glare. "I gave you a chance to back out. Actually, I gave you multiple chances."

"Did you have to go so hard?"

"Yep," Cassandra responded with a smirk. "Serves you right for challenging me."

"I thought you liked to be challenged?"

"Oh, I do," Cassandra said with a smirk as she started to walk past her. "But I love winning even more." She said, her voice sultry.

Rapunzel blushed deeply and Cassandra couldn't help but snicker as she walked towards the water. Rapunzel rolled her eyes and mumbled a couple of curse words under her breath before slowly following the warrior, a limp very noticeable. Cassandra gave her a true smile before she lent her hand out to her, already ankle-deep in the warm water.

"Come on, the water's warm. It'll help." She said genuinely. Rapunzel grumbled under her breath but otherwise took her hand. The warrior slowly pulled them both into the water until they were mostly submerged but could still feel the bottom.

Cassandra smiled and placed her hands on her hips while Rapunzel wrapped her arms around her neck. The princess laid her head against Cassandra's chest with a contented sigh. They stood there like that for a while, just basking in each other's company. The water slightly rocked them back and forth, making the moment appear even more magical.

Minutes ticked by and neither knew how long it had been. They didn't really care. But it was when Rapunzel was nearly falling asleep that Cassandra finally spoke up. "Raps, we should really get back. It's getting pretty dark."

Rapunzel responded with a tiresome humming sound. "Actually, I was hoping we could stay here tonight. No shadows can get in, no Azriel, and it's hidden from the public. And I brought a tent."

"I don't know Raps… it's gonna be even more dangerous to walk back tomorrow."

Rapunzel looked up at her and gave her her best puppy dog eyes. "Please Cass?" Cassandra couldn't seem to look away. She eventually groaned and Rapunzel grinned knowing that she got her.

"Fine but we're gonna walk back super early tomorrow. Like at daybreak."

Rapunzel giggled weakly, her voice sounding more tired by the minute. "Whatever you say, Cassandra."

"If you had said that earlier, you wouldn't be hurting right now."

"Mmm…" Rapunzel hummed, her voice slurred. "I don't regret anything." Cassandra chuckled before she picked Rapunzel up bridal style, startling her awake and causing a surprised squeak to escape her. "Cass, I can walk, you know."

Cassandra looked down at her and gave her a teasing smile. "Barely," She responded. "Besides, you're clearly exhausted. Rest, I'll get the tent set up."

Rapunzel wanted to protest but the sound of Cassandra's heart started to lure her to sleep. ".. Mhmm…." She responded absent-mindedly, her eyes already closing. Before Cassandra could say anything else, she was out. The warrior shook her head with a smile before carrying her back to shore.

She held the princess with one arm as she laid out her clothes to place her on while she got the tent set up. Once she gently placed her down, Rapunzel must've noticed the loss of body heat and let out a slight whimper.

Although Cassandra knew that she wasn't awake, she still placed her hand on her head in a loving manner to show her that she was still there. "I'm just gonna be right over there, I'll be right back." She said softly, knowing Rapunzel didn't hear her anyway. But it seemed to calm the princess ever so slightly, and she let out another contented sigh.

Cassandra smiled before she finally moved away and started to set up the tent. It didn't take long for she had done it a thousand times before and once she was done, she gently picked the princess back up and carried her into it. The tent itself was a pretty decent size so it could easily fit both of them.

Cassandra noticed that Rapunzel was shivering ever so slightly. There was a sudden temperature change, making it slightly colder and considering  they were both still naked, Cassandra placed the blanket that Rapunzel brought over the princess but she still kept shivering.

Sighing, she took the blanket off and laid down next to her. With that, she pulled the shivering princess snug into her arms before draping the blanket over both of them. Rapunzel immediately stopped shivering and cuddled into her, letting out another contented sigh. Cassandra pressed a soft kiss to her forehead before resting her head on top of hers. She started to doze off herself and before she knew it, she was just as out as Rapunzel was.

The princess cuddled closer into her and nuzzled her in her sleep and Cassandra pulled her even closer. A smile formed on both of their faces as they held each other closer, intertwined for eternity.
