Ryo growled as they ran through the now deserted park. He and Rei had been separated with the others after the battle and they were on a frantic search for their friends. "Are you sure you can't get that thing of yours to work?"
Rei shook her head. "Sorry, Ryo-kun. I'm trying though..." She said as they ran on ahead. "Something is blocking my reception to the other girls…"
"I hope that everyone's alright." He said, taking to the top of a nearby platform, reaching out to Rei as she jumped up.
"They are, trust me." She said with a smile, looking over the land below them.
It was then that they heard someone call their names. "Guys! Over here!"
"Meatball head!? What in the heck are you doing in that tree!?" Rei laughed as they jumped from their look out point and ran over to her.
"Har, har, har, Rei! GET ME DOWN!" The senshi whined as she clung to the tree.
"Just jump, Serena." Ryo called up to her.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" She whined. Suddenly, she felt someone from behind her push her down to the ground. As she rubbed her rear, she looked up and saw Kento grinning down at her.
"You could have hurt her doing that, you know!" Lita scolded him as she landed by Serena.
"Sorry, babe." The food-loving Ronin said as he joined them all.
"How did you find us?" Ryo asked, looking at Kento.
"How else?" he pointed to Serena. "We heard her shrieking a mile away!" Serena growled as Kento chuckled and Rei tried not to laugh along with him.
"Well, now that we've all gotten a good laugh, we need to get back to what's left of the main entrance. Ami and Cye are going to rally the others and meet us back there." Lita said as she helped Serena to stand.
Ryo grinned. "Okay. Sounds good to me." He said before placing two fingers between his lips.
"Cover your ears!" Kento warned, cover his own as a loud, sound barrier breaking whistle came from his leader's lips, echoing all over the park.
"What the flip was that for?!" Rei and Serena growled at Ryo who only grinned innocently at them as the loud roar of an animal came towards them along with the sound of running paws.
"You think I'm walking all the way across this park?" he asked as a white tiger came beside him, nuzzling the teen's hand. "Hey boy. Wanna give me and Rei a ride?" The tiger growled as if agreeing.
Rei looked at Ryo cautiously. "Do you really think it's safe to ride on him?" She asked. He nodded to her once he got on.
"Safer then walking… He can get away from on coming soldiers faster then you can blink." He helped her on before the tiger took off. "He'll come back for you guys!" he called to the others over his shoulder.
Once everyone had regrouped back at main entrance, they began debating as to how and why these things were happening so fast and so soon to them. As they tried to decipher the many mysteries that popped up around them, they shed their attires of battle, making the loads on their bodies less.
"It doesn't make sense. What could cause such a drastic sift in time as to break the dimension barrier that was placed between us?" Serena asked, not really interested in the conversation.
Ami sighed. "It's very simple, Serena. Your mother apparently closed the dimensional gates to lock the two evils of the time away as well as the warriors so that we could fight the two darkness' separately, right? Well, being we have no memories of the past, or at least not until recently rather, we could not have done it. The two evils must have done it."
"How?" Sage asked, leaning against the stone entrance wall. "Talpa's dead and has been gone for about three years now…"
"Same for Beryl…" Mina whispered, the wind blowing by them.
"Well, all I know…" Cye said as he added his two cents in, being quiet till that moment. "Is that one moment I'm talking to Ryo about an oncoming attack, and then I get hit over the head with love, literally."
Rei gagged as Mina snuggled with her lover. "This isn't the time, okay?!" She growled. "The vibes floating in the air are filled with negative energy and all you two want to do is catch up on make out time!"
"Whoah!" Ryo said to her softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down. Trust me, they know we're suspecting an attack and won't…"
Before he could finish his sentence, though, an arrow came whizzing between him and Rei. She growled louder then before, backing against him as more surrounded their little group. "Care to rephrase that now, or later?!"
"SORRY, MISS TOUCHY!" Ryo exclaimed, using his under gear to bounce the arrows back away from him with his arms, protecting his head.
Rowen chuckled. "Like old times…"
"You can say that again…" Ami said as she tucked her head under his chin, Rowen using his body to protect her as they tried to get out of range long enough to get an opening for counter.
Kento saw an opening first and willingly took it. "Eat fist!" He exclaimed, punching his knuckles hard and fast into a few of the armored figures that had been slowly surrounding them for the last few frantic moments of unsuspected attack. But, as his orange and white armored covered hand made contact with the green, dark metal of his enemy's gear, a black smoke arose from it's helmet, as if it's blackened soul were finally free from it's captivity.
Lita joined in the bashing and killing of the green tin cans a moment later, fighting at the Ronin of Hardrock's side with a fierce fighting passion. Even though the two lovers had been apart for some time, they still could kick any amount of arse that they wanted to, being them alone made a strong team. Yet, even their best attempts at lessening the on coming wave of armored dark warriors was rendered useless.
"That's it! Now I'm starting to get mad!" Lita cried, holding her kunshin stick in the air. "AND YOU TIN CANS WON'T LIKE IT WHEN I'M MAD!"
