Ronin Warriors Fan Fiction ❯ Between Dates ❯ Between Dates Chapter 1 ( Chapter 1 )
Destiny's Lot: Hello everyone DL here. Just wanted to let ya'll know I don't own the troopers and I'm not making any money off this story.
Saya: Hey, what about Yoroi of Death and Rebirth?
DL: Oh I'm working on it, but I just got this idea so I had to write it down.
Anubis: What? No way, you can't leave me in such a helpless position.
DL: Oh Nubis stop whining. I'm working on it right after this, geez! Oh yeah this is a yaoi love story between my two favorite troopers. Seiji and Touma!
Seiji: Alright!
Touma: Whoopee. *twirls finger in the air.*
Shin: Come on now Touma, you'll have a wonderful time.
Nasty: Yeah, who wouldn't?
Ryo: Walking through Japanese gardens.
Seiji: Practicing together out in the dojo.
Shu: Making out like sea turtles in the dojo shower!
Everyone: SHU!!!
Shu: What?
DL: As you can see this story might get a little… out of hand. So don't read if you don't like yaoi. I mean it!
Ryo: Otherwise I'll be forced to shove my sword-
Nasty: Ryo!!
Shin: Yeah some people might like that.
DL: Ok let's get started shall we?
Between Dates Chapter 1
Touma pressed his face against the glass watching as the metal wheel slid along the tracks. What was he doing? What was he thinking? Glancing down at the ticket to Sendai in his hand the blue haired boy sighed. What if he changes his mind? What if his family finds out? What if he decided he doesn't want me anymore?
/ "Touma… I miss you?" No, he told him that just last night. "I can't wait till you get here?" I should stop doubting myself and him, but…/ He shook his head blue locks falling around his forehead. Looking back out to the sun that still hadn't reached its pinnacle Touma smiled thinking of the trooper of light, the trooper of courtesy. /He'd never lead me on./ Smiling Touma's mind wandered over the pass few months and unparticular the day he found out how the blonde felt about him. He shivered slightly at the memory his hand brushing over the small scar at his temple. Closing deep indigo eyes Touma's mind drifted as his head rest against the vibrating glass.
///"Come on Seiji, let's dance!" Nasty giggled as she grabbed the reluctant boy's arm dragging him away onto the dance floor. Touma grinned glad that Seiji had decided to join them this evening. /It's nice have him here./ Tiredly Touma dropped into the booth beside an equally tire Shin and Shu. Touma glanced back out to the floor seeing Ryo, black hair bouncing around his shoulders as he danced with a very tall brown haired girl who's silver earrings jiggling merrily with the bobbing of her head. The two of them dipped to the rhythm, blending into the horrid of pleasure seeking youths. Suddenly Seiji reappeared looking just a little frazzled. His face was covered in a thin layer of sweat, blonde hair mused about his head. /He looks very s-/ Touma bit his lip stopping that thought before it could finish. /Stop thinking like that. He's a guy for god sakes, but still…/
"Where's Nasty?" Shin asked and only received a shrug from the swordsman who took a seat beside Shu fanning himself.
"She's dancing with some guy," Seiji finally answered grabbing one of the drinks from the table. He looked it over before placing it to his full pale lips. Touma watched as his throat muscles worked to swallow the drink. Replacing the glass on the table Seiji looked up to see Touma watching him.
A smile adorned his face making Touma heart stop for a moment as Seiji asked. "What?"
"Oh nothing, just glad you came is all?" Touma replied quickly over the drumming beat. /It seems like you're hardly around lately./
"Same here though it's a bit crowded."
"That's half the fun," Shu jumped in, while throwing his arm around Shin.
"Hey you're all sweaty, get off," Shin protested lightly only to be pulled closer to the Chinese teen.
"You didn't care last night," Shu smirked leaning in for a kiss.
"Okay, I think I need to go to the bathroom," Touma exclaimed jumping up from the booth.
"Oh Touma-kun did I make you uncomfortable," Shu teased licking his lips seductively.
"Eww! Stop it Shu, you know that weirds me out," Touma cried as he backed way from the table.
"Shu stop! Oh come on back Touma. I'll make him stop."
"No, I really do have to go, I'll be right back."
"Hey wait I'll come with-" Seiji started, but Touma waved him off from over his shoulder.
"Na I'll be right back." Touma replied disappearing into the crowd, but not before hearing Shu yell.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" /Why does that bother me?/
The archer sighed as he dodged flailing elbows and hands. The closest bathroom on the dance level was on the other side of the building. Final emerging from the crowd Touma looked back over his shoulder. /It's not that I don't approve or that I think it is disgusting, it just… Jealousy. They have something I'll never have after all. They have love./ Shin and Shu had been in a relationship for over 6 months now. Touma envied them, the way they cuddled while watching movie, the way they seemed to always want to be around each other; giving one another those affection filled looks and private smiles.
Trudging forward Touma made his way down the nearly empty hall toward the bathroom. /It sure seems quieter./ As he reached the men's bathroom he pushed open the door not even noticing the `out of order' sign until he'd already step one foot in.
"Oops," Starting to turn around Touma stopped as he heard a faint cry. Blinking Touma paused and walked in, making his way toward the noise. The sight that greeted him was not what he expected.
Laying on the hard tiled floor was a woman her face covered in blood as she shook sobs wracking her form.
"What the… Are you alright?" Touma raced to the woman's side turning her over he stared at her face that looked as though it had been beaten in. "Hey are you-" The woman's eyes opened slowly before widening in fear. At first Touma though it was he who scared her but gaze wasn't on him it was…
"Shit!"

Seiji stirred his mixed drink wishing it were alcoholic. Though none of them except Nasty were old enough to drink most bars and clubs were pretty loose about it. The blond glanced around hoping to see a waiter or waitress so that he could order something stronger.
"I wonder where Tou went?" Shin asked managing to pry Shu off his lips for a moment.
"You know him, probably got asked to dance by someone. Or didn't you notice all the head following our little archer around," Shu snickered as he continued to nibble on Shin's neck. /I sure as hell did!/ Not that Seiji could blame the many admires, Touma was looking hotter then usual today. Wearing only a red tank top and tight black jeans with a red strip down the side Touma was a very sexy sight indeed. Long ago Seiji had stopped denying his attraction to the archer and instead focused on the fact the Touma wasn't gay. /He gets grossed out just hearing Shu and Shin joke about it./ Though Touma seemed a little weary of any sort of sex talk. /So innocent./
"Maybe… Shu!" Shin suddenly gasped. Seiji glanced at he couple before turning eyes back to the dance floor his drink forgotten.
/Shin's right he has been gone a long time./
"Maybe I'll go look for him."
"Oh his Date worried." Shu teased. "Oww! What was that for?"
"Stop teasing him, you know how sensitive he is about Touma," Shin whispered.
"I can still hear you, Shin." Seiji huffed.
"Oh I…"
"Save it, I'm going to check on Touma." /Something doesn't feel right./
"Don't be gone long." Shu called as Seiji stood making his way through the dancers.
******************************************
There was a sting pain against his cheek and a throbbing in the back of his head. Touma squeezed his eyes tighter only to feel the stinging on cheeks grow stronger.
"Wake up you little asshole!" Another slap. Touma eyes flew open to see a black haired man raising his hand to slap Touma again. Touma growled catching the man's wrist before twisting it painfully. Touma's attacker yelped as Touma brought back his fist preparing to give the moron a knuckle sandwich when something cold pressed against his back.
"Let him go," came another gruff voice. The air trooper released the first man's hand and glanced over his should quickly received a barrel to the side of his head, Touma face slammed into the tile floor with force. Gasping Touma raised hand to where the gun had hit him. He could feel sticky blood flowing through his finger while the other side of his face throbbed worse then before. "Get up!" Touma placed his hands on the floor pushing himself up to his hands and knees before looking up at the men who had hit him. He saw the first black haired man flexing his fingers next to the one with the gun. /Where's the woman?/ That question was answered quickly as he heard a whimper from behind him. Glancing over his shoulder he saw yet another man this one wearing a baseball cap over his black hair. He held the girl's one arm behind her back and a gun to her head.
"That's right I'll blow her brains out?" The jerk holding the girl laughed.
"Let's go." Touma glared up at the man who had pistol whipped him, obviously the leader and scowled. "Turn around."
Touma complied getting a better look at his surroundings. He could feel his kanji orb glowing under his shirt but he doubt he'd be able to transform into his armor fast enough to avoid the bullets and what about the woman.
"Move and don't do anything stupid," The man ordered. /Really original, bastard! Guys, I could really use some help./ Touma sighed knowing full well that they could only mind speak when they were wearing their armors, but maybe just maybe…
"Ahhh!" Touma gasped as he was shoved through the door and into the hall.
/They'll probably take us out into the alley and shot us./ Touma got the sickest image of his stiff body laying in a dumpster; trash littering his blooded corpse.
They moved from the hall to the dance floor the leader walking right behind him the barrel of the gun pressed into his back. /And I can't attack now, it would start a panic and who knows how many other people could get hurt./ Suddenly a girl bumped them knocking Touma down.
"Get the fuck up!" The man latched onto his arm retching him for the floor. Touma grimaced but stood continuing his doomed procession.
*****************************
The blonde's eyes narrow as Touma was knock down. The brown haired man behind him snagged the archer from the ground roughly yanking him up. Seiji saw Touma face wrinkle in pain the man shoved him forward. Seiji didn't miss the gun in the other's hand nor the bloody bruises on his friend's face. /He's hurt, just what the hell's going on?/ Seiji cast his eyes back through the crowd to where he knew the others where. /There's no time if I lose sight of Touma now, I might never find him again. Hold on Touma./
********************************
Touma was correct they were indeed in the alley behind the club; the distance drumming filtering through the walls. Touma was pushed to his knees as the man who had slapped Touma stood in front of him smiling.
"Well blue boy, I hope in hell you learn to read."
Reaching to his chest Touma grasped the orb just as he heard their leader cock the gun. /Wisdom!/ The sub-armor wrapped him as he darted forward. Touma felt the stinging pain of a bullet against his leg and lower back but he knew that neither had penetrated the armor. Ramming into the first attacker Touma took him down crashing his knee into the man's rib cage.
"Little shit!" The leader growled as he aimed at Touma again. Just for that you can watch her die".
"Jay!"
"Right," man holding the girl replied as he held the gun to her neck and fire. "What the fuck!" Touma eyes widen in shock and joy as a white armored hand stopped the bullet from ripping through the woman's throat. /Seiji!/
The crook gasped as Seiji's hand covered his face yanking him away from the woman. Pulling back his hand Seiji slammed his palm into the man's face with a sickening yet satisfying crush. Another gun shot ran out as the leader shot at Seiji. Touma was instantly in motion bring his right leg up he knocked the gun into the air before spinning his left foot tripping the man. Once the bastard was down Touma brought his right foot up and then straight down on the man's chest. There was strangled hissing sound before he lay still.
The archer sighed standing up as Seiji knelt down next to the woman who had collapsed to her knees.
"You ok?" he asked her only getting a numb nodded.
"Good." Seiji then turned and looked at Touma. "Next time I think I'll come with you." Despite his serious tone Touma could tell the blonde was trying to make a joke. Touma smiled their eyes locking on one another before Seiji eyes widened in fear.
"Touma!" The archer glanced over his shoulder as he heard a deafening blamm. /Too close./ Everything blurred as a burning pain ripped through his head. He eyes squeezed shut trying to fight off the pain but it was no use. Touma felt the cold concert even through his sub-armor and somewhere amidst the pain his realized what had happened. /I've been shot./ The cold became unbearable as the pain increased. /If I'm shot then this must be a head wound. Maybe neck but…/ Touma's mind jumbled random thoughts jump forth. He could vaguely felt the blood pouring from his head as he laid there. /I'm going to die. I can't believe this./ Managing to open his eyes Touma saw blurred colors and murmuring voices that he couldn't understand. Suddenly one of the blurs stopped coming closer to him. Touma squinted as red cloud over the golden image.
"uiulutoumaoihi!" /What?!/ Touma could tell the voice was talking to him, but it was becoming too hard to focus. "bktoumajhwakeup!" /So tired./ Touma eyes slowly started to close again as the voice strengthened a wave of warmth filling his body.
"Touma wake up!" /Seiji?/
"Touma don't close your eyes!" /It is you./
"Everything is going to be already. Just stay with me, Touma-chan." The warm grew spreading throughout his body replacing the lonely cold. /He's healing me./ Touma tried to focus on Seiji but despite the warmth he felt himself slipping further and further away. "Come on Touma-chan. You can't let go!/ Touma eyes slipped closed as he felt himself falling away from the warmth and the light that was Seiji. He struggled to reach it but despite his efforts he fell further.
/I'm sorry, I'm just so tire./
Touma felt the warmth fading as the lonely cold returned. /I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry Seiji./ Touma found himself whispering.
"No Touma! I'm right here!" Seiji's voice burst through the darkness like a ray of sun through a stormy day grasping Touma and pulling him upward. /Seiji./
"Touma." It was in that instantly that he felt it. The way Seiji felt about him. ///
The train shook waking the sleeping teen. Touma blinked sleepily as he heard the announced call.
"Next stop Sendai!"
/Sendai… Seiji…/
To be continued….
DL: Maybe. Actually I'm not sure.
Touma: What?
DL: So now all of a sudden you want me to write more.
Touma: Yes please.
Seiji: Yes please.
DL: Well we'll see. What do you guys think? Should I write more or what?
