Chapter 3

& nbsp; Anubis stood in his doorway, trying to decide whether or not to be angry. On the one hand the boy had clearly not tried to escape. He was still there in the room, sound asleep. On the other hand, he had gotten out of locked restraints AGAIN, was wearing HIS pants and was lounging on a chair. It was a clear disregard for his authority and a statement of defiance. He couldn't make up his mind.

&n bsp; Dais came up behind him and looked over his shoulder to see what he was looking at. He smirked at the sight before them.

&n bsp; I told you he wasn't going to be scared of you after a beating.

;  He was scared enough not to leave the room.

&n bsp; Because we would have heard him.

Anubis had nothing to say to such foolishness. He stepped into the room. Immediately, blue eyes flickered open, as alert as if their owner had never been asleep. They locked onto Anubis, sizing up the man. The muscles in his back and limbs tensed slightly, ready to spring, should the situation demand it. Otherwise, the figure crouched in the chair didn't move. The two stared at each other for a few seconds before the redhead gave a disdainful snort.

& nbsp; "Still holding on to your little defiance, boy?"

&n bsp; Yuli looked at him thoughtfully for a second.

             "Up yours, you horses’ ass."

&n bsp; Yuli had to vacate the chair rather quickly after that.

&n bsp; Anubis turned away from the splinters of what had previously been a chair and struck out again toward the crouching figure on the chest of drawers. Yuli leapt aside avoiding the blow by a narrow margin. He landed on the far side of the bed, ready for the next attack.

He didn't have to wait long. Someone's foot landed solidly in the small of his back, catching him by surprise, sending him sprawling to the floor at Anubis's feet.

&n bsp; "I think you're getting slow in your old age, Anubis."

           ;  "Shut up, Cale."

& nbsp; Yuli felt a hand twist in his hair and braced himself for the yank. Instead, the hand shifted its grip, letting the shining mass slip through his fingers. Another caress, from his hair down his neck. Yuli shuddered, tensed and lashed out. His foot landed solidly, but another hand grabbed his ankle. Great, now the snake-nut was here too. More hands now, trailing along his hair, his back and his captured leg. He felt the familiar tightening of his chest, the roaring in his ears, the trembling in his limbs. His breath quickened with the first spasm of fear.

&n bsp; "What shall we do with you?" Sehkmet almost hissed the words, his face a dark caricature of desire. One of his hands rested on the back of Yuli's neck and the other traced the seam of the appropriated pants up the inside of Yuli's leg. "We can't seem to keep you in the dungeons. You're such a slippery little thing." The words were hissed into his ear now, punctuated by a lick on his ear.

&nb sp; Yuli lost some of his composure then, thrashing erratically to no effect. All that achieved was to make the others laugh at him. An arm snaked around his middle and he was lifted up and deposited on the bed. The bed. No, not that. God, let them torture him, starve him, kill him. Anything but that. A thousand memories assailed him. Pain. Humiliation. Despair. Terror. He struck out wildly, ready to go down fighting than be thrown back into that kind of hell. Better to die a warrior than live as a concubine.

&nb sp;  He may as well have just lain there for all the good his struggles did him. Four against one were never good odds. It only took them a moment to restrain him long enough to locate the cuffs and get him back into them. Damn it!

&nbs p; Dais looked at the frightened boy on the bed, his head tilted in thought. He hadn't shown any fear when Anubis had whipped him, but now he was almost mindless with terror. So he didn't fear pain, but he feared rape. But someone as smart as this child clearly was should be able to see past the psychological fears and see it as just another form of torture. Unless . . .

Anubis couldn't have been happier. The child had been getting under his skin with his "fearless martyr" routine. Now he was thrashing around on the bed, face flushed and his eyes bright with fear. This was how prisoners were supposed to react. The only thing left to worry about was that Dais had his "I know something really good that you don't know" smirk growing on his face.

&n bsp; What are you thinking now?

             The grin widened a fraction.

& nbsp;  Only that it's so much fun to play with peoples minds.

Anubis raised a curious eyebrow. Dais sauntered over and sat on the edge of the bed. Their captive growled at him. The effect wasn't frightening so much as cute. Dais tsked softly and stroked one creamy cheek.

& nbsp; "You know perfectly well that snarling at me isn't going to do any good. It certainly didn't stop the others."

;  There was a pause, a widening and narrowing of baby blue eyes. The game had begun.

& nbsp; "You were so young too. So innocent and tender. Do you remember how long it took them to make you cry that first time?" Another pause, this one punctuated with slightly harsher breathing. "It hurt so much too. And not a good hurt. Oh no, being torn in two from the inside and," Dais had leaned in until he was eye to eye with his victim, now wide eyed and trembling, “they still hadn't taken you yet."

&n bsp; Yuli was trying to hold in the gasping sobs of terror. How did he know? He'd been bluffed before, but this was too real. Before they had stumbled over the obvious flaws in his history. His age, his crying or the fact that none of the assailants that had hounded him since before high school had ever actually fucked him. So how the hell had this man, no this demon in the shell of a man, known?

& nbsp; Dais basked in his own smug pride. The boy's face was an open book to him and reading his pain back to him left him nothing but putty in his hands. It wasn't hard to figure out the boy's past from his reactions to their advances. Victims of violent abuse become jaded and numb after a while, not reacting to pain. The smart one's could still pretend pain to shorten the duration of their suffering, but it didn't bother them as much as a fresh thing. Rape victims, in particular, seem to phase out the violations done to them. So if the boy was hardened but still freaked out at the prospect of sexual attack, he had been hurt, but not raped. It wasn't unheard of, especially with the Ronin brats keeping an eye on him to save him in the knick of time, like they seemed to do so well. Also, the child had always been too beautiful for his own good, even as a whelp. Dais hadn't really taken any physical charms into account during their first acquaintance, but then he wasn't fond of children in any sense. To someone who DID see little children that way, the boy would have been a feast. Especially once he had gotten just a little older and lost some more of his baby fat. And nobody can stop all the demons in the world.

& nbsp; Now, what to do with his new toy, now that he had his attention? He could break the boy completely in three minutes. 5 minutes at the most. Or he could back off and let the others play with him. They had been waiting quietly where they stood, watching the small drama unfold. Anubis looked thoughtful, Kale looked disbelieving and Sehkmet just looked confused. Decisions decisions. Might as well get in some outside input.

         &nbs p;  Well?

        ;     Well what?

& nbsp;  What do you want to do with him?

         &n bsp;  Anubis looked speculative.

&nbs p;   I don't think we should break him just yet. If we hold it over his head for a while that we could, it should be enough incentive for him to behave. A pause.Marginally at least.

Then we can dangle him as bait for the Ronin Rodents. When we defeat them, they can watch while we destroy him, mind and body. Kale had a wolfish grin on that made him look just slightly maniacal.

        &nb sp;   Fine.

&nbs p;      Yuli couldn't hear the mental conversation going on above him. He wasn't even lucid enough to realize it was going on, like he could when the guys were talking to one another. He was trying to gather his scattered wits. He had come to terms with his past, to a degree, but the fact that he was at the mercy of an enemy armed with that information scared the shit out of him. He looked up to find them all looking at him again. Now what?

&n bsp; Can we at least screw him?

&nb sp; There's no reason not to.

&nbs p; Yuli was very proud of himself. He didn't scream when Anubis and Kale pounced on him.

&nb sp; Both of them seemed to be trying to get between his legs at the same time. When space became an issue, they squared off over the tangle of limbs and bed sheets.

"And who said you could have him first?" Anubis was willing to pull rank if it meant he could have this sweet little virgin before the others. This was an opportunity too good to miss.

&n bsp; "I caught him in that alley. I should get him first!" Kale was equally adamant. He wouldn't back down for Anubis' "I'm the leader so I get the best spoils" crappola. He'd caught the boy fair and square. Not that fairness had ever really mattered in the world of the warlords, but it was the only bargaining chip he had at the moment.

"We all caught him down that alley and I caught him when he got out of the dungeons. If I hadn't gone down there, he would have gotten out of the compound and out of the gate."

& nbsp; If they decide to go fight over him, I'll split him with you.

&nb sp; Dais had to smile at his companion's thoughts. Sehkmet might lack finesse, but he wasn't as stupid as some might think.

          & nbsp; Fine with me.

&nbs p; Of course, it wouldn't stop him from wrapping the green haired snake up like a dead bug and whisking his pretty little blue-eyed one off to be ravished in private. It wouldn't surprise him if Sehkmet planned to actually share the boy or knock him over the head when the other two left. The other man liked a good threesome.

&nb sp;  As it turned out, the planning was in vain. Before the issue could escalate into a full-fledged fight, they were stopped by a fifth voice in their heads. This voice was much deeper and completely inhuman.

;  COME TO ME, MY WARLORDS.

&nb sp;   Dais sighed. It looked like the ravishing would have to wait. Their master's call could not be ignored. Without a word, they all vanished, teleporting to the main audience chamber to hear whatever decree was to be passed down.

&n bsp; Yuli cautiously looked around the room. The warlords had just frozen for a few seconds, sighed and disappeared. Yuli was no stranger to teleportation. He’d seen it many times before. But why? He'd been almost to the point of hysterics, fearing the impending assault. The only result he could come up with was that they had received some kind of mental summons. And the only one he could think of that would be able to bid them was Talpa. And how was Talpa going to play into this? He hadn't seen him yet. Maybe was still kinda weak from the trouncing he'd received 10 years ago. He didn't seem to be the omnipotent force he had imagined skulking through the castle corridors before. Would he still be a physical whatever-he-was or had he returned to spirit form?

&n bsp; Yuli decided there was no point contemplating what he couldn't yet know. What he had to focus on was the here and now. He disengaged the chains, you would think they would just forget them by now. He looked at the single window looking out onto the dynasty compound. He couldn't see the gate in the distance, so he could rule out that direction.

&nb sp;  Yuli stared out the window down on the hordes of dynasty soldiers and maze of outbuildings and gardens. Did he dare make a break for it?

&nbs p; Yuli sighed. No, there was no way to gauge how long the warlords would be in sequestered congress with the demon king and he couldn't risk them coming back and finding him gone without him having a decent head start first. He'd bide his time and wait for an opportunity to present itself. Even if it meant more . . . unsavory interaction with his captors. The thought wasn't pleasant. But, maybe if they did rape him, he could move on with his life without the fear and uncertainty hanging over him. One never knew.

to be continued . . .
