Dear Readers,

I must admit that this journey has come to an end, even though I do not particularly wish to. I had a great deal of fun writing this story, and can only hope that you gained some pleasure reading it.

I will soon begin two new projects: Dark Night's Wind, a sequel, and the revision of Into the Dark Night.

In truth, I have already started Dark Night's Wind, and am working on chapter two. My writing style will have changed drastically from the simplistic style and straight-forward plot of Into the Dark Night, and you will find a lot of elements that are particularly gruesome or sexual. For example, the murder of Sarah Ebullient, the American ambassador to Japan, and the particularly graphic scene of the discovery of her body. I seek to cease being Anne Rice's protégé…in favor of becoming the new Anne Rice.

I have plans for Rya, Lloyd, Ryoko, and Hikari, but I will also reincorporate the Troopers. Touma and Shuu in particular, though I may add a little more Shin.

On the subject of humor…it will be found far less frequently, though how I can add less humor than IDN strikes me as damn near impossible, except that I will be adding some humor to IDN. Whatever humor to be found in Dark Night's Wind will most likely be found in exchanges between Ryo and Seiji, or comments from Shuu and Lloyd.
