[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

DL: Well, man is everyone on vacation or what?

Nasty: I know. There haven't been hardly any new fics.

Touma: It's the war, everyone's busy stocking up and taping down.

Seiji: Even though it is useless.

Touma: Actually, it's not but if you tape up your whole house you'll eventually die from lack of air.

Saya: Poison gas or suffocation…

Shu: Oh stop worrying.

Shin: Yeah I mean if we can live through Shu's `poison gas' then we can live through anything. *pause…Laughter.*

Shu: Oh bit me.

Chapter 9 Our Little Trip To Tokyo

This was what she needed. Saya allowed her mind to fog over, sensation swirling around her head as Touma's mouth moved along her neck. / It feels so good./ Saya couldn't think and for that she was grateful. She's spent so much time thinking lately and this was a welcome change. Somewhere in the back of her mind she could here Ojo and Shinu but she their conversation was out of focus, blurred by the dizzy feeling in Touma's touch. His hands moving against her sides from skin to fabric and back again as her mouth ached for another kiss Touma busied himself with nipping at her chin. Angling up Saya managed to get what she desire as their lips found one another. His arms tighten around her as his mouth turned going for another grab of her lips. She felt his tongue slid into her mouth parted lips roaming her mouth, hot breathe brushed by her face.

She moaned in delight thankful that he was holding her so tightly or she was sure she'd have fallen to the floor by now. Close her eyes she lost herself; the desire over whelming all of her doubts and fears about their future.

/Touma… Shinu and Ojo…No! I don't, I don't want to think about it./ Saya focused again on Touma's mouth. /My head hurts… I just want to forget for a while./

Ojo and Shinu had explained their history, well their history here on earth, to Saya in detail. Guizu was their previous bearer. The young man had fought against yorois for centuries before finally decided that he could not go on. The blood on his hand weight down his heart and the constant battles wore down his soul. After that the yoroi laid sleeping as it awaited another bearer. /Me.../ It wasn't the weight of her task that filled Saya with this sense of dread, of fear. It was the idea of the danger she would bring to their world and to her friends and family. /Stop thinking about it! What are you going to do?! What can you do?!/ Saya was pulled from berating herself by a gentle shake.

"Saya?" Touma face where brimming with worry as he stared down at her. "Are you alright?"

She stared back watching the concern etched on her love's face.

"Yeah," She nodded throwing away all of the unsettling thoughts that had been filling her mind since she learned of her fate. "Yeah." She answered again more to herself then to the archer.

Touma watched her for a moment his hand reaching up to brush callused finger across flushed cheeks. She leaned into the touch before reach for Touma's head running her finger through his silky hair as she pulled his lips to hers. /No matter what I know what I have to do. This is my destiny. /

*********************************

Seiji yawned covering his mouth with his hand as the credit for the news broadcast flashed onto the screen.

The blonde stood and stretch making his way toward the back bedrooms. He'd already claimed the bed in the guest room marking it with his overnight bag. He glanced in to see if Touma was in there but found the room empty.

/Geez how long does it take her to pack. / Seiji thought as he head further down the hall to find out what the hold up was. They should have left for the Faun family restaurant by now. As Seiji near he started to knock on the partially opened door when he heard low talking inside. Against his better judgment and his formal training Seiji peered in.

/Oh god!/ Seiji felt his eyes widen as a bolt of pain shot through his head. His fist clenched as he tried to fight off the pain, his chest constricting as he watched Touma lay precious kiss across Saya's face, and neck. Seiji heard a quiet moan leaving the girl's pink lips as their grip on one another tightened molding their body together.

/Leave! /His mind yelled at him but despite the pain Seiji couldn't tear his eyes away. He felt his body's desire for those kisses as he eyed Touma's hands, finger tips running over Saya's flat stomach and around her back to pull their bodies even closer. / Leave hurry. / This time Seiji obeyed he'd seen enough but as he turned to flee the scene he felt his heart shatter, the pieces falling to the floor as he managed to make it back to the front room and out the sliding glass door. Once on the balcony Seiji felt tears spring to his eyes. /No, I can't cry. Not here, not now, not over this. No! / Seiji struggled to composure himself as he leaned against the silver railing. But even as he pushed away the tears the pain continued to grow. /Why? I knew he loved her so why? Why does it surprise me to find them like that? I'm such a fool! /

Seiji wasn't sure how long he'd stood there his hand white from their constant grip of the railing. /I have to let this go. I have to forget about this, but how can I forget this feeling? If love were so easily brushed away there wouldn't be sonnets written about, poems dedicated to it and people searching so desperately for it./

The blond was brought of his musing as the sliding door behind him opened.

"There you are, got bored with TV, ne?" Touma asked as he walked up beside Seiji. His blue hairs blowing in the warm summer breeze which until that moment the swordsman hadn't even noticed.

"Yeah."

"Saya's going to finish packing after we get back."

/Wonder why?/ Seiji had to fight off the frown that threatened to wrinkle his forehead as he simply nodded.

"Hey," Saya smiled brightly as she stuck her head out the door. "Ready to go?"

**********************************

Shu sat at the desk Shin watching the ashy haired trooper as the four of them sat in Shu and Touma's room. Nasty was sitting on an old blue couch with stains galore covering its cushions.

"So what are we going to do now?" Shin asked frowning. Despite Shu's metal winning attempts at persuading his mom that everything would be ok she continued to object.

/ `there is no way you are staying in the same house that girl'/ In the end she had left to go help prepare the evening meals with a promise to finished the conversation at dinner.

Ryo sighed and Shin could sense his frustration and reluctance to get involved in a family matter but…

"It really doesn't matter does it? I mean she's coming no matter what?"

"Ryo, we want to stay on good terms with Mrs. Faun for Shu and Touma's sake," Nasty injected.

"Don't let Mama hear you say that," Shu added. "She wants us to back down, but in the end it is going to come down to Touma and Mama. Nothing we say will have much of an impact on things."

"I just don't understand, sure we've only known Saya for a little while but still I didn't sense any thing objectionable about her character," Shin muttered his voice trailing off as he felt and intense pain from somewhere.

"Shin you ok?" Ryo as he eyed Shin who realized his face had wringled due to the unseen mental pain coming through his link. / What was that?/ As quickly as it can it disappeared and Shin instantly straighten up nodding to Ryo.

"Hey don't worry buddy. I sure mom will eventually see that Saya's a good girl and she's very devoted to Touma," Shu reassured Shin. /They didn't feel it./

"You know there has to be a reason your mom does like her, your mom doesn't seem like the type to belatedly dislike somebody without just cause."

"Nasty's right, have you every asked Saya if she know why you're mom does like her."

"Yeah that comes up in normal conversation. `Say Saya why is it exactly that my mom hates your guts?'"

"That's does sound like such a bad idea to me," Ryo added nodding his black hair wagging in front of his face.

"Yeah `cause you wouldn't be the one asking."

"Then Shu why not ask your mum," Shin inquired.

"That's worse." Shu stated simply.

"Well we have to figure out something," Shin reply.

"Nope I told you from here on in it's up to Touma and Saya. That simple." Shu stood up folding his muscular arms. He eyed the others in the room before adding. "Now let's go eat."

"Awww..."

********************************

The drive was very quiet with Seiji and Touma in the front again, Saya in the back her head rest against the car's side wall. Builds blurred by as Seiji's eyes flickered from the road to the mirrors and back again. He was unusually quiet even for him the archer noted glancing at his friend. Touma tried a couple time to make the blond talk but all he got were shrugs, nods and single word answers. /Some things wrong with him. What happened, did he see something on the TV that upset him…/

Touma hadn't missed the hurt expression hidden in his friend's eyes after he'd found him on the balcony, but had decided not to question the blond about it. Seiji had been acting rather odd since he'd returned from seeing his family and though Touma wasn't sure they had anything to do with Seiji's strange behavior. Touma was so preoccupied with worrying about Seiji that he almost forgot about the other major problem facing them.

^Touma?^ Shu called. /Almost./

^Hey, we're just about there.^

^Good but do you think you can get up here without being seen?^

^Yeah, why?^

^Mama still pretty upset about this whole Saya moving into the mansion with us thing.^

^Oh I see, alright we'll see you in a bit. Ja ne.^

^Bye.^

Touma sighed heavily glancing over at Seiji to see if he had heard but again he only met the side profile of and unresponsive trooper.

"What's wrong Tou?" Saya asked leaning up in between the chairs.

"Nothing, Shu was just saying for us to not come through the kitchen they must be busy tonight."

"Oh." Saya didn't sound convinced but didn't press the issue.

/I guess we'll be using the fire escape./ He wondered briefly if Saya had a clue as to why they were sneaking in today. /Of course she does./ Over the months before the war the three of them had snuck into the house on a number of occasion and every time it was to avoid the same Faun. /I just don't get it. Why does she dislike Saya so much?/ Touma had asked his mother that on a number of occasion and all he every got was a simple. /'I don't dislike her she is simply not right for you.'/ That of course was not true. It was funny that she worked so hard not to let Touma know that she disliked maybe even seem to hate Saya. /I just don't get it. It's not the normal mother's disliking her son's girlfriend. It is something more. And until I find out things aren't going to get better./

They arrived pulling in the alley way where the Faun's usually park only a few minutes later. The old SUV, a newer USA imported Lexus and of course the all important blue van with more dings and dents then there restaurant had courses parked ahead of them.

As they exited Seiji's black sports car, Touma motioned for them to follow him up the old rusty fire escape and in through the third story window where his and Shu's bedroom lay.

The others had sensed their arrival and Shu was waiting with the window and door open. The three of them slipped into the room without incident as Kongo closed the door behind them.

"Well this is cozy," Shu smiled playfully.

"So I'm guessing your mom's not happy." Saya said glanced back at Touma who nodded not at all surprised by her comment. The girl sighed as Touma noted everyone watching her.

"I should have known that this was going to happen," she continued.

"Saya…"

"Maybe it would be better if I just stay at my place. I'll be fine, honest." She tried looking directly at her boyfriend.

"No way," Ryo shook his head gaining everyone's attention in tone that might as well be accompanied by a stomp of his foot.

"Saya do you have any idea why she has a problem this."

The brown haired girl's eyebrow knitted together as she nodded. "Nasty-san I…"

Knock knock.

"Yeah," Shu replied everyone falling silent.

"You can take everyone down stairs for dinning room we'll start when Touma and his… friends get here."

"I'm already here mom," Touma reply opening the door.

"Oh," the older woman's surprise face quickly changed to a more melancholy expression as she saw Saya standing in the room. "Good Fay is taking over in the kitchen so that we can all eat together." She turned to leave before adding.

"Papa Faun will be up in a minute after he makes sure everything is fine."

"Right we'll be right down." Shu answered cast looks around at the others.

^Well let the last meal commence.^ Shu stated in a morbid tone making Touma roll his eyes.

************************************

It had taken some time to track down the mysterious yoroi but now that Shuten had he felt doubts well up. /No, no time for doubts we will find out if we are worth; we will find peace one way or another./ The bearer of Oni waited high above the busy restaurant biding his time as he watched mortals hurry about the streets below.

It was strange to be back in this realm. The red head felt so out of place as he watch weird vessels know as car drive across the rock like ground laid by humans. When they had come to Ningen Sekai under Arago there had been no time to wonder at the achievement of man but now Shuten could see that despite all their faults these mortal truly were amazing.

For a moment it seemed almost a shame to destroy all of this but then his burning hatred of mankind returned casting a dark shadow over any thing good this world could or would create. /In the end these mortal crave only death, destruction and power as they have for thousands of years ago. What we don't destroy they will? They long to be conquered, but…/

/I fault them for this and yet is that not what I long to do? Yes but no; I long to control them. For me and my brother to rule them. Yes that was my wish to bring order and control to this world. And peace?/

^That will not bring peace, ones such as you are not meant to change the world Shuten. We are meant to save it.^ Oni interrupted. The voice of the armor had been communicating with Shuten quite a bit since his encounter with the girl's white armor. /Ojo./

/You are right, why is it that I can't shake these ideal from my head?/

To that Oni didn't answer leaving Shuten again to himself. /I will find these answers. Her armor will know. I will find peace, even if it mean resting in the hands of death./

*************************************

Seiji's head pounded as the conversations around waffled through his ears much like the wonderful smell of the food before him. But despite how good the food looked and smelled his stomach churned, the very thought of eating making him queasy. /I can't eat…/

He glanced up and down the table his mind in a haze of pain that he just couldn't shake. He could heard Shu and Shin talking behind him as they sat at the table with the Faun children Nasty, Saya and the other three troopers sit at the main table. Though the swordsman couldn't get his mind to fully focus he still noticed the tension all around him. Touma to his right, Saya after that then Nasty, Ryo, an empty seat since Shin had opted to set at the children table with Shu helping him feed little Lai Lai, after the gap sat Mrs. Faun and Mr. Faun. /Very cozy if you can avoid the daggers./ Seiji thought almost smile at the visual image it conjured up.

Seiji sighed quietly as Saya and Touma talked in a whisper like tone. He had to hand it to the two of them as they simply ignored the glares Touma's mom would throw their way.. /I could never do that. If this was my family…/ Seiji stopped right there as he knew consider those word would only make his headache worsen. If it were to ever happen Touma would be in Saya's position as Seiji tried to seek his family's approve, approve he knew full well he wouldn't get. /With so many things against me why does my heart still ache so for you, Touma? Because my heart does listen to logic, it only reaches out for what it wants not caring if it is an impossible dream./

Seiji had come the conclusion just last night that his feeling for the bearer of Tenku were more then just lust, he was in love or at least falling in love with Touma. /Damn it! Stupid! Kama (God) I'm so stupid./

The pain in Seiji's heart had grown ten fold after witness the one he loved and his love's girlfriend make out at her apartment.

Seiji felt the tears he'd been suppressing since then well up just behind eyes. /No I won't cry, I can't cry over this. I won't! / With a will born of years of training Seiji forced the drops from his shattered heart away. /I am not weak. I will not allow a single tear to fall over this. I will move on. Damn it I have to… But Kama… I don't want too. All I want is for you, Touma, to love me./

************************************

Shuten descended landing lightly on the roof top after he seen the traffic in and out of the build slow. He knew that the troopers were inside and so he'd have to be extra careful.

Dismissing his sub-armor the red head walked to the edge before dropping down on one the window seal. He'd seen the light go out in that room a bit ago and assumed it was either empty of the occupancies were sleeping. Glancing inside he noticed a small bed a tiny form sleeping within it and a crib off the side with yet another sleep child.

/Yes this will do nicely. I will have what I seek./

************************************

The little ones had been tucked into bed and now the Faun family along with their sons' guest were all gather in the living room; lemon tea being served along side a large crème cheese cake and a plate full of ginger snaps the smells mixing together as the small talk continued. The conversations thus far had stayed off the subject of Saya and more on the topic of schooling and curfews.

The group were going to Toyama High school not far from Nasty's. It was a high ranking school with a lot of extra programs and college level course offered. This pleased mama Faun who was beginning to believe that Yagiyu-san would be able to take care of her boys and keep them in line. That only left the girl.

Mama Faun watched her as she sat in between the boy named Ryo with the wild black hair and Touma. Saya smiled at something Ryo said and Touma promptly thumped Ryo's ear.

The young girl continued to smile as she placed her cup back on the table excusing herself. /At last. / The older woman watched as Ryo and Touma continued their chat. /Perfect./ She stood silently slipping from the room and into the opposite hall that connected to the dinner room and then around the corner. She was quite sure the girl was heading to the bathroom. /Think you can hide behind Touma and Shu? Well it about time you and I had a heart to heart. I won't let you corrupt my sons, especial not Touma./

Mama Faun knew she was especial protective of their adopted son, but she couldn't help it. Touma had come a long way. When they'd first met is he boy was so fearful and self conscious. She remembered how he flinched at any physical contact even something a simple as a hug. Of course no one could blame him after the hell he'd went through during his first half of his life. Touma was lucky to have come out of it in such stable shape. But the only reason he had was because of they took him in. They showed him love and support they gave him a safe home and in the end adopted him though Touma choose to keep is family name. /God how I hate that name. Hashiba! I hate those memories and I hate the thought of Touma returning to that past./ That was her greatest fear, that Touma would return to that life full of pain. To the beatings and belittlement he'd once endured. Though she wasn't sure what part Saya played in this fear Mama Faun did know that Saya did. Saya was a bad influence on him, she was spoil, sneak and worst of all violent.

Though to her knowledge Saya had never hit Touma she simply didn't want to think about it. Beside there were plenty of other reason to dislike the girl.

Sighing she stood in the hall waiting for the girl to emerge as she heard the sink turn on.

**************************************

She stared at herself in the mirror the buzzing in the back of her head getting worse. At first she thought it was a simply headache, maybe light headiness from the major make out session with Touma. /And what a session it was. I can still feel his hands, his mouth... God! Calm down girl./ The two of them had never went that far before. Kisses and light touching were about all that the two of them had done and she was grateful for. She loved Touma though she hadn't had the courage to tell him yet and she knew that anything beyond second base would be risky both to their health and to their relationship. /"Sex ruins love, Saya. Don't get me wrong it feels wonderful, no it is more then wonderful it is unexplainable but at the same time it complicates every thing. So just wait on it ok. Wait until you're sure wait until there are no doubts and most importantly wait until I met him."/ Saya's favorite Aunt had told her. She was the only one on either side of the family that Saya connected with. And Saya trusted her and her advice. She would wait, their were so many things going on right now and though her body ached for Touma she wasn't going to give in at least not yet.

Refocusing she could hear the buzzing again and she seriously doubt that the event that had played out in her room were a part in her mounting headache.

She let her mind drift as she stared at the stream of running water, slipping away down the drain. Reach up Saya turned off the sink and flipped off the light exiting into the hallway were she found her path block by a rather anger looking Mrs. Faun.

For a few second neither one of them said anything each sizing up the others and their intent.

"Let's go to the study to talk," the older woman final said motioning behind Saya. Turning Saya felt a little uneasy with her back to the woman. /Take it easy Saya I don't think she going to kill you. Not with all these other people in the house anyway. No she's probably take you out to the country, kill you and then bring you back to serve here as an evening special./ A mental picture of herself with and apple stuck in her mouth pop into her head with Shu getting ready to take a big chuck of meat out of her ass. /Uck!!/ Shaking the morbid thought from her head Saya passed through the crème colored hall and into the study; two rather nice computers sitting on desk facing each other. Both were in sleep mode as Mama Faun closed the door behind her. / Or maybe she'll kill me here in the study. Touma said this room was sound proofed so that he could study without his young sibs interrupting him. After which she'll serve me up./ Another mental image of her being flam bayed and served to Touma appeared.

"Well shall we get down to business?" the woman asked, "I'm sure you know why I wanted to talk to you." Saya turned and nodded. /Respect, show her respect but make sure she shows it to you. The key is not to give her control of the situation. That is what Shu is always saying./

"Yes, your worried about me stay in the same house as Touma."

"Of course. You and I both know the type of girl you are."

"I'm afraid you are mistaken Faun-sama. Though I will admit I made a mistake when we first met I am not one of those girls." /I let this go too long. I should have fixed it right away, but how was I supposed to know me and Touma would hook up?/

"Oh really, don't think you can fool me. I saw you when you weren't pretending to be a good girl; I saw your real self. With those other girls you were nothing but a snotty, spoiled brats."

"Do you really think me that good of an actor? Don't you think Touma would have noticed by now and even if he didn't Shu would have. Besides I didn't do anything. I was with those other girl because I had to be. They the basket ball squad and my coach ordered me to stay with them that day. Do you honestly think I'd waist my time with those type of people?"

"Yes. You are just like them use to getting every thing you want, I will not have you corrupting my son." Her voice rose as her large body trembled with rage her already large chest puffing up a bit light some animal defending its territory. "Perhaps its time that my Touma knew why I don't like you. I bet you haven't told him about our first meeting have you?"

"No." /That's going to come back to haunt me./

"I wonder why?" The woman snapped as she began to circle Saya like predator sensing a weakness.

"There wasn't a need. Touma knows who I am, and even if he knew he wouldn't care."

"We'll see won't we."

^Ojo…?!^ Saya blinked as the faint buzzing she been hearing all day formed into a word or rather a name.

"You've fooled my boys long enough, once they know the true you Touma won't want to have anything to do with you."

^Ojo….!?^ /Who is that?/

"What happened Saya-san?" The black haired woman stopped to her left giving her a side long glare "Afraid now."

/Who…? Oni, Shuten! Shit he's here!/

"Well answer me!" Mrs. Faun's annoyed voice broke through Saya's thoughts and instantly she snapped back to reality.

"Do as you please." Saya snapped quickly making for the door she snatched it open warning bells blaring in her head. Stopping at the door she gave the Chinese woman one last look as she added. "But no matter what it won't change the fact that I… I love him, and I will even if he doesn't love me back. I love him and everything that he is and I would gladly give him whatever he wants… I would die for him, but of course you don't believe me do you? And there is nothing I can do about that so believe what you want." With that she shut the door behind taking a few precious seconds to compose herself as she felt her throat tighten waves of emotion welling up in eyes. /No time for this./

Saya shook her head zeroing in on Oni's location. /He's very close. He's… upstairs, but…/ Only the bedrooms were upstairs. /Oh no./ Saya sprinted for the stairs at the other end of the hall dashing up her feet only hitting every other as she spin around stopping at the second door that lead to Touma's sisters room.

/Ojo.../ Grasping the handle Saya opened the door catching sight of a dark figure looming over Laia bed. Slowly the unarmored figure turned to Saya a red and gold kimono covering his form. Long red hair spilled over his shoulder as he gazed across the room at her. She stepped in closing the door behind her.

"Shuten," she whispered not wishing to wake the two sleeping girls. "What are you doing here?"

"I came for you of course."

"Me!? Why?"

"I want peace. I wish for Ojo, call him forth."

"Ojo… No!"

"Why? Is it not your place to judge the armors?"

"How, how did you know…"

"Oni told me, we both long for answers girl. We long for peace."

^They do not know for what they wish.^ Ojo told her.

^ Our joining is complete why not judge him,^ Shinu asked, ^Or simply let me deal with this one. Call me forth. ^

^No he is not ready to be judged, Shinu.^

^But he wishes it Ojo. Give him the death he seeks.^

^No Saya is not…^

"Girl call Ojo ,call your armor. Judge me now."

"No! Ojo says you are not ready to be judged." Saya told him gaining a scowl from the warrior.

"Why is it that Ojo does not talk to me as before?"

"I don't know perhaps the fusion of Ojo and Shinu has block that ability."

"Shinu… Death! I see so it is Ojo who judges but Shinu who act on the judgment. Your armor has two spirits." The masho paused consider this bit of info. "Well that changes nothing. If Ojo does not wish to judge me then let Shinu. The victory will be proven right by the blood spilled."

Saya forehead wrinkled in confusion as she tried to figure out what he meant.

"Do you understand what you are asking for is death. If Ojo finds you unworthy to live Shinu will kill you… I will be force to kill you." Saya blinked the truth of what he was asking hitting her full on. She had understood her place as the bearer of Ojo and Shinu but now when face with it she realized just how hard it would be even if the person truly was worth of death. "No I won't."

The red head scowled again before a wick smile cross his angled features.

"I believe you will. " In an instant the dark sub-armor incase the warriors before a whisper filled the room. "Buso Oni."

What little light around them faded into pit blackness before returning, the street lights filter through the window glancing off cool metal. Shuten eyes glared at her through Oni's helmet as he lower the sickle in his hand toward Laia's sleeping form. As if on cue the girl rolled to the side exposing her thin neck to Shuten's blade.

"No…"

**************************************

Shin looked up from his seat across the couch from Ryo and Touma noticing for the first time that both Saya and Mrs. Faun weren't in the room. /No that can't be good./ Briefly he though about telling the guys but decided against it. /Maybe they'll work this out on their own. / Shin sure hoped so as he focused on the problem that had been confronting him all afternoon.

He'd felt it hours ago and very profound pain which had echoed across his link. It had been so intense that Shin had winced and Ryo had asked if he was ok. They hadn't felt it or if they did it must not have been as strong for them. /Who is it? '-to love me-`/ Shin had narrowed it down some what. Though Shin could sense non-troopers moods he was sure the pain had come from one of them. Ryo had been eliminated right away because of his question as was Shu of that he was sure so that only left Touma and Seiji. /Could Touma have been the one who felt that pain, was it his plea I heard at dinner `-to love me-' it had made sense until he'd seen Touma and then he knew that it couldn't be the archer's pain. No and that only left Seiji. /`-to love me-`/ Shin watched Seiji from the corner of his eye and he knew that something was bothering him though nothing about his body language reveal it, nor was it by the fact that Seiji wasn't talking since Seiji was the quietest of the group, no what gave it away was the far off look in his violet eyes as he sipped his tea.

/So now that I know that something is bother him... what do I do about it./ Seiji had made it quite clear a number of occasion that he didn't like others butting into his life, but still… Seiji was a friend and a fellow trooper and if something was bother him Shin would find a way to help. /Maybe I should ask Touma? `-to love me-'/

Shin suddenly recalled an incident a few days ago were he caught Seiji's mind unguarded. The swordsman had been confused and upset with himself about something. /What was it? `-love?! No it is only lust.- to love me-` Oh my… Seiji… Seiji is in love with someone. The quiet loner is actually in love./ Shin had to hold back the gasp followed by the smile that tried to pass over his lips. /I figured it…/

Shin was stopped in mid though as the loud clanging of a tea cup against the table filled the room Ryo standing up suddenly. Instantly Shin sensed what Ryo had.

"Shuten!" Shin mouthed trying to focus on the masho's location.

"Shit!"

"Shu!" Mrs. Fuan gasped at her son's language as she reentered the room minus Saya. /That's not good./ Before the woman could say another word Seiji spoke.

"He's in this house. Upstairs."

"Laia and Lai Lai's room!" Touma blurted before rushing out of the room. Ryo on his heels as the five of them bound for the third floor. /What is Shuten doing here? Stupid question Shin./

***************************************

"About time!" Rajura hissed as the aura of Shuten filled their minds.

^Shuten what the hell are you doing?^ Naaza yelled but got no reply.

"Well let's go," Anubis said quickly as the three of them closed their eyes trying to locate their way ward brother.

To be continued…..

DL: Yeah I'm almost done with college, yeah, I'm almost done with college, yeah! I'm almost…

Seiji: We get it already!

DL: Meanie.

Touma: So are you planning on going back next trimester?

DL: Hell no! God I hate school.

Saya: I'm sure he doesn't care.

DL: How do you know? God may have a very big interest in my affairs.

Shu: *walking in and plops down* You're having an affair?

DL: No dumb ass.

Shin: *walks in * Who's having an affair?

Everyone:…

Ryo: What?! We're not!

Shu: Ahh Ryo no one was talking about you.

Ryo: Of course not `cause there is nothing to talk about. * Ryo leaves in a huff.*

Saya: Ooookay.

Seiji: They're most definitely having an affair.

Shu: I already knew that I wanted to know who DL was having an affair with.

DL: I'm not having an affair.

Shu: Oh…. Want to start one?
