Gin: Welcome back! I hope that everyone had a Happy New Year, unfortunately this means that school is back in session and I wanted break to last longer. ~sigh~ You don't know what you got until it's gone.

Kag: Those are true words.

Inu: I have never lost anything important to me.

Gin: You used to have Kagome and now she's gone.

Inu: Who said she was important?

Kag: SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!

Inu: x_x

Gin: (while poking Inuyasha with a stick, she got from god-knows-where) I think he's dead.

Kag: What!? (runs over to the fallen Inuyasha and feels his heart beating) No he is just unconscious.

Gin: He sure smells like it.

Sess: What do you know? You don't even have a sensitive nose.

Gin: Oh! That reminds me! Fluffy and co. are going to be in the story for the next um…two or three chapters. Then he is gonna leave, but don't worry he'll be back.

Kag: Is Jaken gonna be there? (While Gin nods her head Kagome groans.)

Gin: Don't worry! It might not be this chapter, but Jaken is gonna get a beating. Oh and if anyone has any idea on how I might be able to bash Kikyo and Karou in this story plz tell me. I also want to bash Inuyasha.

Ken: Oro? Who is Inuyasha and Kikyo?

Gin: Inuyasha is that pathetic excuse for a being down there. (points to the unconscious figure that is Inuyasha)

Ken: Are you alright? (Kenshin starts poking him with the stick that Gin had earlier when he wouldn't answer.)

Inu: x_x

Gin: Leave him be.

Kag: He's gonna be out for a while so don't even bother trying to wake him.

Sess: Someone force him to take a bath when he wakes up or at least throw in water.

Gin: I'll be sure to of that. ^_^; Now on with the story.

<But Kagome, who is she?>

Kagome looked around at the others and saw their faces. <I don't know, Sango. However, I have a feeling they do!>

Kenshin and the others looked at the woman with utter shock on their faces. After about a minute of gaping Kenshin finally managed, "K-karou?"

Sango was really confused. Her confusion and frustration made her extremely angry; therefore, she practically screamed, "KAROU!? WHO THE HELL IT THAT!?"

The woman named Karou flickered her gaze over to Kagome and Sango. The look she gave them was filled with disgust. "You have no right to speak to ME that way!" Karou fumed.

"WHY YOU LITTLE-" Sango began with rage poring from her.

"Sango, that's enough!" Kagome interrupted sternly.

"You should learn your place!" Karou added coldly.

This statement earned one of the coldest glares Kagome ever gave. "Now listen here!" Kagome hissed surprising everyone, including Sango. "I don't care if you're a princess, a lady, or Kami's daughter herself. You have no right to consider yourself higher than anyone else due to status. You have to earn respect to be treated with it. You can't force someone to respect you. So unless you have something nice to say, SHUT UP!!!!"

Kagome's tone caused Karou to freeze momentarily. When she recovered, she nearly screeched, "Just who do you think YOU are!?"

"Someone who obviously is more considerate to others," Kagome told her calmly, not once letting her control over her emotions slip.

"Who do YOU think YOU are talking to!?" Karou bellowed getting extremely angry.

"Apparently no one important," Kagome yawned not caring whether Karou was upset or not.

"Bitch!" Karou cursed.

Sango, who had been quiet ever since Kagome started speaking, became exceptionally enraged. "What did you just call her!?" Sango yelled at Karou, while her body was shacking with renewed fury.

"I called her a b-i-t-c-h" Karou stressed, clearly felling satisfied with herself. Kagome, on the other hand, was even more Furious than Sango. Kagome stepped up to Karou and slapped her across the face. "What was that for!?" Karou shrieked. Karou's once beautiful face was now twisted with anger and hate.

"Don't EVER call me that again," Kagome said even more coldly than Sesshoumaru could even manage. When she began to speak, Kagome's eyes were cold with fury, but once she finished her eyes held no light, as if she was in a trance. She just stood there and stared at the wall. After a moment of staring tears started pouring from her eyes.

Sango, who saw that she was beginning to cry, rushed to her side. She saw Kagome fall to the ground because she could no longer support herself with her legs. When Sango go to Kagome, she embraced her and desperately tried to calm her. "He's not worth your tears," Sango coaxed while glaring up at Karou.

The others, who had been shocked the entire time, were forced back into consciousness when Kagome started crying. While most of the male population of that group stayed where they were, Megumi, Misao, and Yahiko rushed to Kagome.

"Is she okay?" Misao asked extremely worried. When she saw Sango nodding, she released a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"What's wrong with her?" Megumi asked glancing down at the weeping girl.

"Bad memories," Sango replied.

"Who is `he'?" Yahiko asked. This question caught everyone's attention, even the cold Karou who was still holding her stinging cheek. Apparently, the only one who didn't notice this question was Kagome.

Sango quickly glanced down at Kagome and sighed. " `He' is the reason she is like this," Sango answered. "Kagome trusted him and put up with all of his insults. His favorite thinks to call her were `bitch' and `wench'. In the end he hurt her, and she really hasn't gotten over it."

While everyone was processing this information, Sano spoke up, "Okay, now that we got that cleared up, what are YOU doing here?"

"Can't I just come to say hello?" Karou inquired with false sweetness.

"No you can't, at least not without some hidden motive," Aoshi stated coldly, his eyes narrowing dangerously.

"I just wanted to see how you're all faring without me?" Karou asked a bit to sweetly.

"We're doing just fine thank you!" Hiko answered roughly.

"You know everyone but Kenshin has answered my questions. So Kenshin, how are you faring?" Karou asked with false sweetness.

Kenshin glanced at Kagome and Sango before answering Karou's question. Then he truly smiled and said, "I'm doing just fine, Karou. I have met new friends who are wonderful people. I regret you left; however, it's not like it's eating me alive."

Karou was both shocked and annoyed at this answered. `How dare he!' Karou mentally seethed. `How dare he not be hurt! I married an idiot so I could see him suffer. He's the one who is supposed to suffer, not me. This isn't right. What's going on!?'

Kagome, who had just gotten over bawling, stated after seeing Karou's face, "Things aren't going exactly as planned, huh?" When Karou glared at Kagome, she continued, "I thought not."

Karou could only feel hate for this woman about her age. "What's your name?"

"Kagome."

"That's it?" Karou asked very agitated.

"My full name is Kagome Higorashi."

"Higorashi?" Hiko said curiously. "Where have I heard that before?"

"W-what do you mean?" Sango stuttered. Both she and Kagome were sweat dropping.

"That name," Hiko stated. "I've heard it in some sort of legend before. Now what was that legend?" When everyone glanced at Kagome and Sango, they noticed that they seemed a little nervous.

"Are you two okay?" Aoshi asked with concern. "You both look a little pale."

"Uh-were fine!" Kagome stated a little two quickly.

Kenshin noticed this and walked up to them. "Are you sure?" he asked with a smile.

"Y-yes," Sango stuttered.

Both Aoshi and Kenshin noticed this stutter, and grinned at each other. Sango and Kagome decided that they REALLY didn't like those grins. Before anyone could say anything else on that topic, Kenshin noticed three presences enter the dojo. Kenshin looked around and said, "We have three more visitors. When he looked around at the others, everyone but Yahiko, Megumi, and Karou noticed their presence. What surprised him was that Kagome, Sango, and even their cat Kirara sensed them.

"And two of them aren't eve human," Kagome added in.

"What!?" Karou screeched. "What do you mean two of them aren't human!?" Everyone was wondering the exact same thing.

Before anyone could say anything, a blur ran into the room and latched onto Kagome. Everyone looked at the once so-called blur. It appeared to be a girl a few years younger than Yahiko. She had lack hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a yellowish-orange kimono with black markings. When she spoke she directed it towards Kagome and held out a flower, "Would the pretty lady like a flower?"

"Rin!?" Kagome nearly screamed. "What are you doing here!?"

Sango was wondering the same thing. "More importantly, how did you get here?"

"You know this kid?" Sano asked and Sango nodded for the answer.

"Wait a minute!" Kagome said suddenly. "If she's here then the other to who don't feel human must be…"

"Must be who?" a clod voice stated from the doorway. The owner of the voice was a tall man wearing an expensive white kimono with red markings. He had long silvery-white hair and hard golden eyes. He had a crescent moon on his forehead, and markings on his face and wrists. (AN: He has two arms in this fic!!!)

"Sesshoumaru!" Kagome cried leaping at him and embracing him gently. To say the least he was shocked, but he didn't show it. When she released him she asked, "Where is the toad? How are you? How did you get here? What are you doing here?"

"Jaken is outside. I'm doing fine. The same way you did. And you'll see soon enough."

"Hello Sesshoumaru," Sango said kindly. "How's everyone?"

"Hello to you too, Sango. Kouga finally got with Ayame and their doing fine. Miroku is just the same." Sesshoumaru murmured.

"Damn hentai!" Sango muttered which earned many curious glances.

"Shippo is doing great and he's getting stronger," he added.

"I'm so happy for him. I was worried he wouldn't be able to handle the fact that I left. I'm happy he was able to cope with it," Kagome said softly while smiling.

"Inuyasha…well…he is sticking with the past," Sesshoumaru muttered with malice dripping from his voice.

"Figures," Kagome sighed. "I should have known he would never change, no matter how hard I tried to change him."

"Once a jerk, always a jerk." Sango cursed.

Kagome walked to Rin and asked her, "Are you torturing Jaken for me?"

"Yes!!!" Rin yelled nodding her head enthusiastically. "He and Rin went to a meadow and Rin covered him in flowers." This statement caused Kagome to burst out laughing.

"Inuyasha?" Hiko pondered. "That name is familiar too. Where have I heard it from?" Sesshoumaru, Kagome, and Sango all sweat dropped. Sesshoumaru had figured out that this was his future, but not Kagome's time.

"That's because Inuyasha is strong!" Rin yelled. "He's also very short tempered!"

"Um…Rin!?" Kagome yelled out before Rin could reveal anymore. "Why don't you go play with Jaken?"

"Yay!" Rin yelled running outside.

"Why do I get the feeling you guys are hiding something?" Karou asked cruelly.

"Who's she?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"Just a bitch," Sango answered.

"I guess it's a good thing that Rin is outside then," Sesshoumaru muttered, running his claws through his hair, revealing his pointed ears.

"What is he!?" Karou shrieked noticing his claws and ears.

"Him?" Sango asked sweetly.

"Yes him!" Karou yelled.

"He's a youkai," Kagome said matter-as-factly.

"Don't play with me!" Karou shrieked raising her hand to trick Kagome.

Sesshoumaru suddenly appeared behind Karou and grabbed her wrists. "What makes you think she was joking?" Sesshoumaru asked coldly flashing his fangs at her.

"Because there are no such things as youkai!" Karou shrieked once she gotten over the shock of him appearing behind her and his fangs.

"Then how do you explain this?" Kagome asked while she ran up to Sesshoumaru and started to pet his fluffy tail.

"Is that a tail?" Megumi asked.

"Yes," Sesshoumaru stated. Then he turned to Kagome. "If you don't mind. Please remove your hand from my tail."

Kagome looked up at him and removing her hand, "Alright Sesshie?"

"Sesshie?" Sesshoumaru questioned.

"I'm gonna call you that from now on," Kagome smiled.

"I think not." He stated.

"If you prefer, I could call you fluffy instead." Kagome said with a grin and her grin increased when a look of horror slipped through his mask. This caused Sango and Kagome to burst out laughing.

"Sesshie is fine," Sesshoumaru grumbled.

"I knew you would see it my way." Kagome stated.

"There is no such thing as a youkai!" Karou screamed.

"Then how do you explain that!" Kagome yelled pointed to Jaken who had just walked in. When he walked into the room, Yahiko jumped behind Hiko who jumped back a couple of feet. Megumi hid behind Sano who did the exact same thing as Hiko. Misao cowered behind Hiko who was too shocked to move. Kenshin was just like Aoshi, and Karou just shrieked like mad.

"Oro?" Kenshin finally managed.

"What the heck is that thing?" Misao cried.

"That's Jaken," Sango stated.

"What's a `Jaken'?" Yahiko asked.

"Jaken is my name!" Jaken cried extremely annoyed at the disrespect he was receiving.

"What is he?" Sano asked.

"A youkai," Sango muttered.

"What kind of youkai?" Megumi questioned.

"I'm not sure," Kagome said. "I believe he is a toad or something."

"Hey Sesshoumaru!" Yahiko called out. "What type of youkai is he?"

"A toad youkai," he answered.

"And you?" Misao asked.

"An inu youkai," he replied.

"Inu?" Megumi asked.

"Dog," he replied.

"You're a dog demon!?" Sano asked and Sesshoumaru nodded.

"That explains the tail," Yahiko commented.

"How dare you!" Jaken screeched. "How dare you show such disrespect to Sesshoumaru-sama, Taiyoukai of the Western Lands!"

"Taiyoukai of the Western Lands?" Hiko asked. "That seems familiar too."

"Well it should!" Jaken stated holding himself proudly. "For you see-"

Jaken was interrupted by a fist from by Sesshoumaru, an elbow from Sango, a bit from Kirara, and Kagome who took his staff and sent it down on his head. "Don't you ever learn to shut up, toad!?" Kagome inquired.

"I got it!" Hiko suddenly exclaimed.

Sesshoumaru, Sango, Kirara, Jaken, and Kagome all sweat dropped. "Y-you got what?" Kagome stuttered.

"Those names and the other things I know about, I know where they're from!" Hiko exclaimed.

"Y-you do?" Kagome squeaked.

"The legend of the Shikon no Tama!"

Gin: I'm so sorry that it took so long. I promise that I'll update within a week this time. To be brutally honest I have already written all the way up to chapter 12, but im to busy and lazy to type it. I reveal the truth to you. v_v

Kag: It's okay -_-

Gin: To all of those who like Karou, I'M SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a little upset at Karou as well as Inuyasha and Kikyo.

Ken: Who are they?

Gin: You'll see

Ken: Karou seems a little mean

Gin: Oh she'll get worse

Kag: Let's go

Gin: Oh! Before I go what do you think of Karou/Jaken? Heheh ^_^

Kag: Um…she's acting a little scary right now. Um…bye plz read and review. Bye!

Gin: Heheh! Oh! Ja ne!
