Their lips met in a heated kiss, and Kenshin pulled Kaoru closer. The kiss broke and his gold eyes burned into her deep blue ones. He bent down and nuzzled her neck, inhaling her scent. Her arms had wrapped around his shoulders pulling him close. He lightly licked her shoulder and then unwrapped his arms. She held on, as she heard his deep voice right next to her ear. "I will return shortly and continue this."

Kaoru now stared at the ceiling as she could feel a tingle on her lips. She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down. "Mmm, moving so quickly." She mumbled as she tried to get the thoughts and visions in her head to pass at a decent rate so she could understand them. She shook her head and decided she'd take a nap, she suddenly felt drained.

Kenshin had used his speed to get away from her inviting scent. He licked his lips at her taste, which still lingered on his tongue. `Indeed we will finish later,' his eyes a dark gold as he walked toward the kitchen. A smirk laded upon his lips as he opened the door.

Two gasps were heard as he entered, not bothering to hide his eyes. "What do you need to speak with me about?" His voice was cold and neutral.

"Ken..." A glare was sent to Sano as he tried to speak. He snapped his mouth shut.

"You had asked me when the women would be well enough to travel." Megumi stated a little nervous, she'd never seen him like this. She'd also only known him for a short time.

"Yes, have you determined when they will be able to leave?"

"It will take another week before Kaoru's strength will be back. I believe you should take a carriage if you want to leave that soon. If you want to walk all they way to Kyoto, then I suggest you wait at least two weeks. You will also need to make sure Kaoru's dressings get changed this week regularly, or she will not be able to leave that early.

Kenshin nodded as he looked to Sano. Megumi was shaking and Kenshin saw this. "I'll make sure she is taken care of, she wants to finish speaking with me." A glare to Sano, once more was his only movement before he left the room.

Megumi collapsed to her knees, Sano rushed to her side. "You okay there, Fox?" His voice was softer than his normal tone.

"His eyes, god it took all my strength just to speak. His eyes have returned to the way they once were." Megumi mumbled. Sano wrapped his arms around the woman as she buried her head against his chest. Sano's eyes were wide as he heard the mumbled come from her.

"They once were?" He whispered as she wrapped her arms around him.

Kenshin smirked as he heard the light thud when she'd fallen to her knees. He swiftly walked back to Kaoru's room and found her asleep. He wanted to wake her, but would wait until night came around. He closed the door and sat next to it, his eyes watching her sleeping form.

`Beautiful' was the only thought he could come up with. His eyes seemed to glow as he heard a rather pleasant sigh.

"Ken..." Her voice died as her face had a puzzled look upon it.

The deep female voice cackled as screams were heard thought the stonewalls. "I told you other ways Soin." Her deep voice stated as a torch was lit near her throne.

"Tein," Her voice looked over the man walking up to the thrown.

"Your highness," His deep voice stated as he lowered to one knee.

"How goes the search?" Her voice questioned. A sneer was on his face for two seconds.

"Shinomori is harder to find than we though, it seems he has left the girl with Himura." I can't get close enough without being detected by the Battousai so we must remain away from them. If he senses us now he may piece together who is leading us once more." He bowed his head as he waited for an answer.

"Has Soin giving us anything about them?" She questioned as he dark eyes glowed eerily.

"No she is very tight lipped. We do know that each woman they are guarding, they have feelings for, but she knows something else she is not telling us.

"I believe I might know one of the things, but she is still hiding something I wish to find out what that something is and soon. Up the torture and get her to tell us, if she doesn't she'll wish she had when I asked her the first time.

A wind whipped through the room and the torch went out as the man made his way out of the room. He shivered, as the room seemed to chill without the light. `Why she loves the dark I will never know," He picked his pace up and came to the hall. He turned to the right where the screaming seemed to grow louder.

Kaoru felt something against her neck it was soft and fleeting. She felt warmth above her and instinctively she wrapped her arms around it pulling it closer. The soft feeling was staying longer on her neck and she mewled as she finally opened her eyes. She saw red and her hand went o his hair pulling the tie free. His hair cascaded down his face. She ran both her hands through the soft hair. "Mmm, always wanted to do that." She mumbled.

Kaoru gasped as she felt his tongue run down her throat, placing kisses along the wet path back up. Her hands fisted his hair lightly, moving to grip his shoulders. "You've been sleeping too long." His voice was low and came out as a growl.

Kaoru shivered and pulled him closer as he pulled the tie on her clothing free. He parted the yukata, his eyes lingered on the wound, but he continued to kiss down her throat and across her collarbone. Mews coming from her as she tried to pull his warmth back to her.

She raked her nails down his cloth covered back as he nipped her collarbone and neck. He placed kisses down the valley of her breasts. His hand went to her right one and start to trace the curve, gaining a gasp from her. He used one finger to run it lightly down the middle and over her nipple.

Kaoru groaned at the soft calloused touch. She looked down into his eyes and saw hunger and a playful gleam. Her eyes widened as he descended and place his hot mouth over the flesh. He place wet kisses along the top of her breast, doing that to both sides. He went back to the right breast and snaked his tongue out across her nipple. A strangle cry came from her mouth. He nipped he and ran his tongue over the nip. More mewls met his ears as he repeated the process a couple of times. Kaoru's hands had fallen from his shoulders to fist the futon. She panted as he sat back, his breathing just as erratic. He looked over her and smirked at the blush staining her cheeks.

Kaoru didn't try to cover herself, but she closed her eyes. She felt his warmth over her once more as he whispered, "Kirei." He nuzzled her neck as his hands went to her shoulders and worked the yukata down her arms. She lifted her back in response so he could pull it free from her arms.

He backed away once more a moan of disappointment left her as she lay still trying to catch her breath. She felt his hands go around he neck. Her eyes shot open, but she calmed when she saw love in his eyes. The lust made her shiver in delight. Ever so slowly he ran his hands down her neck to her shoulders. His fingers trickled over her shoulders and down her arms.

A long moan came from Kaoru as she felt his calloused hands run down her soft skin. His hand came back up her arms and ran over her shoulders once more. He then continued to run his hands down over her breasts. Another moan came from her, her hands fisted the futon once more as he head thrashed from side to side. She felt hot all over and his touch only seemed to inflame her more.

"Kenshin she moaned, not sure what she wanted." He smirked at her, bending down to drag kisses along the sides of her next. His tongue darted out every so often. More mewls came from her as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders only to have them drop back to the futon as he pulled away. He placed his hands under her breast and smooth the whole palm down her stomach, stopping at her curls.

He swept his hands to the sides and ran his fingers down the side of her hips. She jerked suddenly and Kenshin smiled. He feathered his fingers once more over the same spot gaining the same reaction. He ran his hands down over her thighs and down to her knee. He gripped her knee slightly then continued down, her muscles seemed to flex slightly at the welcomed touch.

"Mmm," She moaned in frustration. She tried to reach for him, but he evades her grasp. "Ken...shin," She breathed as her breath came in pants.

"Patience." He whispered as he trailed his hands with slightly more pressure back up her legs. He stopped right before thighs met hips. He pulled his hands up so his fingertips rested on the top of her thighs. He ran his fingertips lightly down to her thigh.

"Ahh," Kaoru breathed as shocks ran up her spine. She wanted to pull away, but at the same time not to. His fingers left her skin for a brief second. Her eyes flew open and she looked down to Kenshin as a finger entered her.

His eyes met hers as she let her head fall back to the futon. Kenshin placed himself above her keeping his hand in place. Her muscles twitched, as he didn't move. She moved her hips ever so slightly and moaned as she felt more shocks go down her spine. She felt him start to move his finger in and out and mewled as he bent down and started nipping her neck, trailing his tongue over the nips. Her hands went to his bare shoulders.

Kenshin entered another finger, pumping them in and out slightly faster

`Bare?' She thought, but didn't get far as she felt a slight pain in her neck, that turned to pleasure. She gasped and called "Kenshin," as her form racked with spasms. She clutched Kenshin to her as she let the pleasure go through her. She let her arms go limp, but kept them around him. Her eyes closed as she tried to settle down from what happened.

Her eyes flew open and she rose her hips as Kenshin's finger found her clit. She felt tired and his finger touched her clit every so often. She felt smaller spasms rack her and closed her eyes once more.

She opened her eyes once more as she heard something. Her eyes opened lazily and she turned her head as Kenshin shed the last of his clothes. "There's more to come," His deep voice drawled. He lowered himself over her. His hands running up and down her sides.

Their lips met in a kiss as he settled his weight on her, careful of her wound. His right arm at the side of her, holding his weight off, that part of her. "Mm," Kaoru drawled as she felt his weight. Her hands were running up and down his back. Kenshin closed his eyes trying to keep his will to keep things slow. He nuzzled her neck as she scraped her nails over his back.

He let a groan escape as she ran her fingers back up his back. His left hand fisted, as he took a deep breath letting it out shakily. He opened his left hand and trailed his fingers over her stomach. He found her clit once more and gained a cry from her as he touched it. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer.

"This will hurt," He whispered in her ear as he positioned himself. She nodded her arms around his shoulders. He thrust into her and heard her cry of pain. He stilled and waited for her to get use to him.

Kaoru moved slightly and, gasped. It still hurt somewhat but that was outweighed by the pleasure. Kenshin took that cue as to move. He started out slowly and thrust into her. Kaoru pulled Kenshin closer to her and breathed his name over and over. She couldn't describe the feeling going through her body. She wrapped one of her legs around his waist and moaned his name once ore. She felt the knot in her stomach once more only it seemed to intensify. She started to meet his thrust and heard a low groan leave him as he started to move faster. He panted as he placed kisses along her neck. His tongue ran over the slight mark he'd given her.

Kenshin was close and he wanted her to feel the pleasure first his left hand went between their bodies once more and started to flick her clit. She called out as he muscles clamed around him. He came shortly after her and with great difficultly held his weight above her. He pulled out and rolled to his side panting and feeling exhausted. Both were covered in sweat as he pulled Kaoru close and turned on his side. Her arms wrapped around his waist and she snuggled into his warmth as she fell asleep.

His hand fluttered over her wrapped side. He sighed, as it wasn't wet with blood. He nuzzled her neck and breathed her scent deeply. Sleep claimed him sometime later.
