"Dammit!" Sanosuke glared at the hole in the wall and rubbed his throbbing knuckles. His right hand was still broken from his failed punch at Shishio, and now thanks to his temper he'd have to re-wrap it again. Grumbling curses, he began unwinding the bandages.

"Idiot," Megumi huffed irritably behind him. Seizing his wrist, she busied herself with the bandages.

As her skillful fingers re-bound his hand, Sanosuke looked up at her. She paused for a moment when their eyes met, and he flushed and turned his gaze away. "Thanks," he muttered grudgingly.

Megumi nodded, and released his bandaged hand.
