Hey this is my second RK fic and I decided since I love making the main heroine's strong like some people make the guys. So this is a story about Kaoru being a kind of bad person, but she is realistic and she doesn't go around killing people at the sign of movement and she only fights the guilty with passion so she can spar and not go all crazy and shit…well enough of explaining and I have and OC cause the bad guy and some other person will be around plus you have to have the bad guy's girl, but now on to the story! ^__^

Kaoru Kamiya had been supposedly dead for three years after her family found her drained of her blood. (I know I know another Vampire fic? Buts it's with my twisted mind so it'll have things that you won't expect so bear with me please) Her best friend Misao didn't believe she was dead and neither did her older sister Megumi and her younger brother Yahiko.

So they hired a tracker of the undead. His name was Kenshin Himura also know as the Battousai. He was known never to lose his prey (the person he was trying to find). But lets go back to when Kaoru was first found.

Kaoru was the middle child of a very wealthy family, she was excellent at ports, loved to do kendo, but she was never known to have a boyfriend. So the people could have had her trust and killed her that was outside of the family were slim. But on the day of the so-called murder she was seen leaving with a boy. He had dark blond hair and a strange eye color, tan.

The girls that saw them and that were questioned said the man was one of the cutest guys in school and he was a senior. His name was Fujio Ezakiya (I just looked at Japanese names and played eny meny miny mo and I worked). Fujio denied that he was ever with Kaoru and he had his sister Reiko to back him up. Battousai knew they were hiding something about her `death'.

But the strangest thing to the family was when they went to visit her body for the second time she was gone. Her mother threw her hands on her face, "She couldn't have just got up and walked off!" "Then do you think someone just took her?" the father said gravely. Misao looked at the bed they had placed her best friend in then to the door, which was at least ten steps away. Megumi slid down the wall `I knew she was still alive!' "My baby's body's gone!" Mrs. Kamiya wailed, and Mr. Kamiya patted her back. (Please tell me the parents' names! Please!)

Things went on like for three weeks that after Kaoru disappearance (is that too long?). When Misao finally got the nerve to talk to the two grieving siblings. "I was thinking we should call this guy I read about in the news paper. It says the Battousai is said to find missing people that were thought to be dead and were seen dead alive. Well, What do you think?" Misao asked. Megumi looked at her late sisters best friend, "I guess it wouldn't hurt but do you think she's a vampire?" "Busu a vampire then I'd be in so much trouble," Yahiko shivered. (You know he's being stupid cause they fought a lot) "I'm sure she wouldn't hunt you if she was," Misao giggled. Megumi got up and picked up her cell phone, "So, what's this Battousai's number?" "Um, Blah de blah, oh here it is! It's 555-627-3132," Misao read.

"Thanks Misao," Megumi whispered. "Hello Kenshin Himura's apartment how can I help you?" a male voice said unemotionally. "Oh, sorry I was looking for Battousai," Megumi began, but stopped when she heard something in the back round "Aoshi get off the phone! (Pause) Sorry Miss this is the place to reach the Battousai," another Male voice replied. "Oh, for a minute I thought I had the wrong number," Megumi smiled. "Oh no, sorry for him. What do you need?" the man asked.

"My sister, if you read the paper you know, Kaoru is dead but after," Megumi was interrupted again, but by a new voice. "After you went to see her she disappeared," and new male voice said dryly. "Y-yes, how did you know?" Megumi stuttered. "What's your address, Miss?" the third male asked. "It's 2200 Sakura Ave. and our parents don't know about this," Megumi recited. "Okay so it's 2200 Sakura Ave. and date?" the second man recited back. "What!" Megumi blushed. "The cover up," the first man said.

"Oh yeah is tomorrow okay?" she asked. The third man mumbled a yes and then hung up.

(With Kenshin, Sanosuke, and Aoshi)

A man leaned back in his chair after his friend hung up, "So Kenshin did you see the picture of the Kamiya girl?" "Which Kamiya girl, Sano?" Kenshin asked. "Probably the `dead' one," another man answered. "Yeah, what Aoshi said, that little missy she is pretty for a seventeen year old," Sano sighed. "Enough day dreaming Sano. We have to research something about Kaoru Kamiya and her family," Kenshin commanded.

Sano did a fake salute, "Okay, I'm on it!" Aoshi said nothing and followed Sano out of the room. Kenshin picked up the newspaper that had the Picture of the girl. `If she's this pretty in black and whit I wonder what she looks like in color.' Kenshin wondered.
