" I am going to be late," Kaoru growled under her breath. Throwing piles of cloths up into the air she put her hands on her hips thinking. ` I swear I left my cell phone there.' Kaoru swiftly turned around to see a dazed out Rurouni on the floor with cloths piled on his head. Kaoru threw her hands over her mouth. " Oh my gosh, sorry Kenshin I didn't see you there!" Kaoru started to pull all of her cloths off of Kenshin. She put her hand out to help him up. " No Miss Kaoru it's okay, Sessha shouldn't have came into your room without knocking. And I am afraid Sessha heard you, what are you late for if you don't mind me asking?" " Uh, well, you see Tae asked me to help at the Akabeto today." Kaoru just looked at him for a while to see if he would buy it." ` Gosh what's wrong with me, he's never going to believe that.' " Okay Miss Kaoru, just be careful." Kenshin dug into his back pocket and pulled out what Kaoru would call her Cell Phone. " Thanks Kenshin, were was it?" " Sessha found it on the counter today, if it makes you feel better Sessha thinks you look nice." Kenshin gave her that famous Rurouni smile while looking at her cloths. Wearing blue jeans, black boots, and a purple shirt he said it like she had a million dollar dress on. " Thank you for returning it to me, but I have to go now."

Arriving at her destination, the Iowa Building she took fast steps to the building. When she entered she saw flights of stairs and many office doors the same old same old. Kaoru walked over to the up front counter to ask the man for her keys. Kaoru was pissed to see the man at the counter looking at an all girls swimsuit magazine. Kaoru banged on the counter to get his attention. " Hold on a second will you, can't you see I'm busy?" He said not taking his eyes off the magazine. Kaoru's eyes darkened and her voice was in a low growl. " Do you know whom you're talking to," Kaoru said snatching the magazine out of his hands. Once the man saw whom he was talking to he quickly apologized stuttering. " Oh Boss, I didn't know-." He was cut off with a wave of Kaoru's hand. " If I catch you slacking on the job again Frey you're done, out of here!" Frey clasped his hands together. " Of course boss." Kaoru pointed a straight finger at him. " Is this how you treat my customers?" " No Boss, never!" " Good, because you're on strike one more and your out of here!" Yes!" " Good, my keys," Kaoru said with her hand out. " Uh, yes." Frey used a set of keys to open a safe. " Thank you." Kaoru gave Frey a quick smile before throwing his magazine down on the floor and tearing it apart with the heel of her boot. She kicked it across the floor. " See you later Frey." Entering the elevator she hit the button that would take her to the 36th floor. Kaoru pointed at something on the floor. Frey followed her finger and saw she was pointing to the magazine. " Pick it up," she said calmly as the elevator doors shut.

Kaoru was just about to enter her office before she saw stacks of paper at her door. She so badly wanted to kick all the stacks away from her door. But luckily Enishi showed up. " You need help Boss?" "Uh, yeah." Kaoru bent down to pick up one of the stacks while Enishi picked up two. With all the papers in her hand she was struggling to get her office keys from her back pocket. Shoving the key into the socket her office door opened. " Just put them on that chair Enishi." " Boss?" "Yeah." Scratching the back of his head he tried to explain thing to her but the words wouldn't come out." Kaoru sat on her black leather chair and leaned back in her chair and put her feet on top her desk folding her hands on her stomach. " Enishi spit it out!" " Can I have a raise?" Kaoru let out a chuckle. " Enishi I pay you 5,000 a week!" " I know but I have been working here for about 5 years and-." He immediately closed his mouth when Kaoru started to talk. " Let me guess, you think it's time for some changes." Kaoru stared at him with a blank look on her face. " Enishi you are my assistant and you're a very good one indeed. But I don't pay you for nothing; I pay you to keep my workers in check when I'm not here. To do thing when I don't have time on my hands. But guess what Enishi my workers aren't in check their slacking, I want you to whip them back into shape. This building is like a lounge for them, when they see me they stutter they should do the same with you. When I see things are improving around here and fast, I just might consider your raise. Got it?" There was a long sigh that came from Enishi's mouth. " Yes Boss. Do I have an assignment?" Kaoru simply shook her head. " Nope. But if you want something to do go to the fax room and print 425 copies of information of this months target." Kaoru clapped her hands three times and took her feet off her desk. " Go, start assisting me," She said smiling. " Of course Boss, right away." As soon as Enishi left Kaoru slowly put her head on her desk and closed her eye's. " Maybe I should get one more assistant, this is too much for me." She picked her head up and slammed her hands on her desk." I better get to work then."
