The Akabeto

"Surly you have seen Miss Kaoru, Miss Tae.

"Sorry Kenshin but I haven't seen Kaoru for about a week. At that point Kenshin's eyes grew so big it was like they were going to fall out. " But she told me she would be here." Tae pressed the menu she was holding against her chest. " Kenshin I don't know where Kaoru is, but I can assure you she is not here." Kenshin could already feel panic rising in his chest. "Alright, thank you for your time Miss Tae." Tae put her hand up, telling him to stop. "It was no trouble at all, I hope you find her. Kenshin only nodded before he started his way back to the Dojo.

Opening the Dojo gates Kenshin sensed Kaoru's presence behind him. He turned only to see a smiling Kaoru. "Hello Kenshin, where did you go off to?"

"I should ask you the same question." That just wiped the smile off her face. "What do you mean?"

"Miss Kaoru Sessha went to the Akabeto only to find that you weren't there." Kaoru just folded her hands together letting herself drift off into her thoughts. `There is no way I'm getting out of this, yeah I'm busted. But who cares it's not like he'll stalk me to find out what I've been doing.' "Um Kenshin, can we talk about this over dinner? I'm starved." Kenshin completely blanked out for a second. "Oro! Sessha forgot about dinner."

Kaoru just put her hands on her hips. "Again?"

"Ay Yahiko Kenshin and Kaoru are here!"

"Good, because I'm starving." Walking up to Kenshin and Kaoru Yahiko had discovered that they had no food. Yahiko stared death glares at Kenshin and spoke to him threw clenched teeth. "You said you would get us something.

" Sessha is sorry Yahiko, Sessha forgot."

"Don't say it to me, say it to my stomach," Yahiko said while rubbing it. "Sessha will start cooking now!"

Later on everyone was at the table silently eating; only thing that wasn't silent was the sound of Yahiko and Sano stuffing food into their mouth. "So what did you do at the Akabeto Missy?" Kaoru took a moment to understand what he was saying. "Yes, Miss Kaoru what did you do?" Kaoru rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine I didn't go to the Akabeto, just kill me over it already!"

" So where did you go Busu?"

"Aaarrhh, get off my back already, I'm a 20 year old woman I don't have to tell you guys where the hell I go." Kaoru got up and headed towards her room and slammed it behind her. It was completely silent after that. "Wow, talk about Manners!"
