"Yes my little koneko?" Kenshin asked as he saw her playing with his hair.
"Do you really believe about me being the re-incarnate of Siva?" Kaoru asked as she continued to twirl the red manes around her fingers.
"Siva or not... You are still Kaoru and I love you for that..." With that answer Kaoru smiled and fell asleep in Kenshin's arm. But this time... he won't leave her anymore... he would be there with her. He would be with her... forever as he promise... like how Kasuma promised Siva... Together forever...

Kenshin opened his tired eyelids and snuggled further into her warmth. The only warmth he was craving for since young. Ever since he saw her accidentally at the bazaar, he wanted her so bad. He had trained himself for her. He wanted to protect her, wanted her to belong only to him.
He brush away some black strands clinging on her forehead. She started mumbling something and cuddled further into Kenshin's chest where she could hide her face. He stroked her midnight tresses. Jasmine lingered onto the air around him as he sniffed the nice smell.
"Kaoru... wake up before I do anything drastic to wake you up..." Kenshin warned as he started pulling her even closer to him so he could lick her cheek. Kaoru shifted a little but went back to her sleep.
"Another few minutes will do..." Kaoru groaned as she grounded her forehead on Kenshin's hard chest. He pulled away and got out of the futon. Kaoru started to whine when her source of warmth was gone.
"Get up Kaoru... I got lots of things to teach you today... about the demon world..." Kenshin replied as he got out of the cave while Kaoru was shouting for him to wait for her. He stopped by the lake and wash his face and prepared himself for the day.
"Is the water cold?" Kaoru asked innocently as she watched Kenshin bathing himself. She looked at Kenshin when he didn't answer her. She started backing away when Kenshin neared her...
"Oh no you don't! Himura Kenshin! Don't you dare! KYAAAA!!!" Kaoru was soon envelope within Kenshin's lock and cold water surrounded her form. When she finally plop her head out of the cold surface of the water. She glared at Kenshin meanacingly.
"IT'S COLD YOU BAKA! You could have warned me about this!" Kaoru screeched while Kenshin just chuckled at his little kitten. He rubbed his nose on hers.
"Then it would spoil the fun now wouldn't it?" Kenshin chuckled further making Kaoru fuming even more.
"Mou!" Kaoru tried her best to feigned anger towards her little puppy... yes... Kenshin was hers! Her little puppy. She smiled when Kenshin started looking at her strangely, the look on his face made her giggled further.
"What are you thinking?" Kenshin asked as he began drying Kaoru up like last night and slipped her into his gi like usual. Kaoru just shrugged as she tied the sash on her gi. Then she took her weapon up and walked out of the cave, Kenshin quickly grabbed a katana and followed her out taking her hand when he reached her.
"We are going further into the forest, there will be different demons in there. I want you to know and how to avoid them to the best. Welcome to the Demons' World koneko." Kenshin said grinning down at her as he floated up in the air with Kaoru behind him.
"Kenshin!" Kaoru shrieked when she found out that Kenshin was actually FLYING! With little effort Kenshin managed to pull Kaoru up so that her body would be next to his. Expectedly, Kaoru immediately threw her hands around his neck. She hates heights... and he knew it.
"Kenshin... can't we walk?" Kaoru whispered as Kenshin landed gracefully on a thick branch.
"We can't... they would then know you are a human... at least with me, they will not notice that easily. Even if they know... they wouldn't do a thing to you." Kenshin grinned when Kaoru hugged him tighter as he tightened his hold around her with his tail. He sat her down on his laps as he balanced himself easily on the branch.
"Kenshin... we can't go down can we?" Kaoru looked at him pleadingly as he shook his head.
"Look... that's a Sasori Youkai." Kenshin pointed to the weird looking person; if there's anything Kaoru hate... they are heights and bugs. Definitely.
"Scorpions?" She gulped as she looked down at the demon. She nearly dropped down when the demon looked at her, but when Kenshin glared down at him, the scorpion demon bowed and walked away.
"Kenshin?"
"Yes? Koneko." Kenshin asked as he kept a look out for other demons especially those who knew how to hid themselves from him.
"Is it me or... there's something opposite us..." Kaoru pointed out to the tree opposite of theirs. The leaves rustled, Kenshin's eyes narrowed.
"What are you hiding there for? Shigure?" Kenshin asked as he raised two clawed fingers. Kaoru was awed when they both glowed with a yellow light at the fingertips.
"Battousai-sama... I am sorry to imposed on the both of you... but..."
"But you want to have Kaoru because she is the reincarnation of Siva... your past leader." Kenshin finished his sentence with ease. Shigure made a sound but kept his position.
"Battousai-sama... we do not want to fight with you. About Kaji... we would let it go but the girl will lead us to the human world!"
"Shigure... go tell Renzou that I will not pass Kaoru over. And she is not the reincarnated of Siva." With that Kenshin brought his two fingers down in a swift movement. As two whips came out of nowhere and sliced the branch where Shigure was standing.
"Battousai-sama! Re-consider please! We need the girl!"
"Go away Shigure... This girl is my woman now..." Kenshin growled at the figure below them as he stood up and was preparing to leave.
"You haven't marked her yet Battousai-sama! She doesn't smell like you yet!"
"You really want to die so much don't you Shigure?" Kenshin gripped on his katana got tensed.
"Siva must be revive! Siva doesn't belong to you Battousai-sama!"
"Kenshin..." Kaoru's sweet voice broke his thoughts as he looked at the girl beside him.
"Kaoru? You don't look good..."
"My... My head hurts..." Kaoru complained as one of her hand went up to hold her head.
"Itai... I-Ita-"
"Kaoru! Kaoru!" Kenshin shouted as he cradled her in his arms. She had fainted due to the stab of pain in her head. Kenshin glared at Shigure.
"What have you done?" Kenshin roared.
"I have done nothing Battousai-sama... It is Siva... Siva-sama is responding to our calls. Siva-sama will be awakened...!" Kenshin had enough as he whipped his two fingers down producing an explosion where Shigure stood. He didn't even bother to check whether Shigure really died. He flew back to their cave as his heart worried for his loved one.
He cupped a mouthful of water as he placed it on her small full lips. But Kaoru was refusing to take in even a dropped of it.
"Drink Kaoru!" The water only slipped over her mouth and slid down to her neck following the path down to her gi. Kenshin's eyes widen when he saw Kaoru's mouth moving putting his ear near he heard clearly what she was talking about.
"Kasuma... Give Kasuma back to me... I will revenge your death Kasuma..." Kenshin jerked away as if he was burnt. Kasuma... That name. Kasuma was Siva's lover, a bad feeling rose in his heart.
"Kaoru! Wake up! It's me! Kenshin da! Wake up!" Kenshin shook her shoulders roughly. Wanting her to wake from the dreams that don't belong to her. She was Kaoru... she wasn't Siva... She was Kaoru!
"Kaoru!" A groan was received as he finally stopped shaking her. She opened her fluttering eyelids fully. Kenshin's amber eyes widen fully when he caught a glimpse of orange eyes before she blinked them away.
"Ken... shin..." Kaoru whispered as he hugged her close to him. Afraid that she would leave him again.
"Kenshin... I dreamt of Siva again..." Her shoulders started trembling as her head throbbed again.
"It's okay... You are Kaoru and no one else... It's okay... I am here with you always..." Kenshin consoled Kaoru with his head on the crown of hers. Letting her know that he was not letting her go and she was not alone anymore... not anymore. Kaoru nodded as she held onto Kenshin as if it was her only life-source.
"I love you..." Kaoru muttered the words ever so softly but it was audible to Kenshin's sensitive hearing.
"I love you too... koneko chan..." Kenshin replied into her hair as her even breathing could be heard. He smiled down lovingly at his curled up mate. He carried her back into their cozy room in the cave. Tonight she shall rest... tomorrow would be another day to look forward to. Together with his love one...

Kenshin snapped open his eyes when he felt and heard something. He kept very still so as not to wake Kaoru who was presently sleeping very peacefully around his embrace. A slight sound could be heard again. He let go of Kaoru lightly and kissed her forehead. He stealthily took his katana and slid open the paper door. Once he stepped outside, he caught a kunai with the hilt of his katana.
"Who are you?" Kenshin growled as he closed the door behind him.
"We are here to take Siva-sama back." The shadows replied in unison.
"So there are more then one. I promised you that you will not see the sun after this fight." Kenshin warned as he took another step nearer.
"Be prepared to meet the lord of death!" Kenshin snarled as he unsheathe his katana cutting his way through the sea of demons that had crowded around his entrance.
Kaoru groaned as she heard the commotion outside. She snuggled closer to her one and only warmth. Kenshin. Her eyes snapped open when she found out that Kenshin was nowhere in the room they were in. She straightened her gi given from Kenshin and ran out to find an ocean of blood with demons on around the floor leading to the entrance. Her eyes cringed at the sight. Suddenly, a clash of metal sounded.
"Kenshin!!" Kaoru shouted as she made her way out as fast as possible without stepping onto the body parts that was scattered on the ground. There her lover was. He was already panting as he was bathed in his own blood and others. He was fighting two other demons at the same time. They were much stronger when they were transformed into their original form.
"You can't kill us in this form Battousai!" One of the demon sneered as Kenshin coughed out some blood.
"Hiraikotsu!" the boomerang sliced though the air as it reached the other demon.
"Kaoru! Stay BACK!" Kenshin warned as he quickly made his way to Kaoru but was stopped by the second demon.
"Your opponent will be me!"
"Kyaa!! Don't come near me! Don't touch me!" Kaoru screamed and struggled within his hold.
"Siva-sama... you would have to wake up."
"I am not Siva dammit! I am KAORU! Ka-o-ru!" Kaoru tried to reason with the snake.
"You are Siva-sama's reincarnate! She lives within you!" Korasu the snake demon tried again as his rattling tail wrapped around her petite body.
"Ken... shin..." Kaoru whispered as her breathe got caught in between her words. Out of the blue, Kaoru suddenly, felt her body dropping towards the ground. She shut her eyes tight as the resistance of the tail loosened. A pair of strong arms caught her fall. When she opened her eyes. There her savior stood.
"Kenshin..." Kenshin sat her aside and glared at the snake demon.
"Kaoru's mine... those who touched her will die!" With that Kenshin disappeared into the wind.
Those who touched her will join the lord of the death.
Blood splattered everyway as Kaoru ran towards Kenshin who was staggering towards her. He was drained of energy.
"Kao... ru..."
"Kenshin! Kenshin! What happened? You are bleeding so much!" Kaoru helped him to the bank of the river as she tore the hem of the gi and soaked it in water as she cleaned his body with it. Kenshin watched Kaoru who was frantically helping him.
"I'll be fine... I am a demon... my body will be able to take such blows from those weaklings." Kenshin smiled through his pain. He was losing too much blood through the long fight. He lost his control over himself therefore it spelled 'defeat' but thanks to his angel, he was able to focus again and saved him in the nick of time.
"You are losing a lot of blood Kenshin! You won't make it like this!" Kaoru cried and chided him at the same time. He knew of a way to save himself. But he cannot say a word about it. That would be to drink blood. Human blood. If he were to say it, Kaoru would be giving him hers. Definitely.
Out of nowhere, her mind suddenly told her the way to save her beloved. Give him human blood... it commanded.
Kaoru picked up Kenshin's body and placed his mouth over her pulse on the neck.
"Kao-"
"Drink it... onegai... drink it for me... let me help you." Kenshin tried to refuse her offer, but her constant plead and temptation of the hot blood that rush through her veins made him give in.
Kaoru pushed his head in urging him to drink her blood. His hands suddenly filled with energy, wrapped her body with his arms and crushed her body to his. Kaoru moaned as her fingers weaved with his crimson locks.
"K-kenshin..." Once he felt that it was enough he left the wound on Kaoru's neck. His mouth was smeared with her blood. Kaoru smiled as she lowered her lips to catch his.
Metallic blood flavor mixed within their sweet taste.
Kenshin moved away from the mouth and in a swift movement Kaoru's back met the soft ground below them as he suckled on her slender neck. Kaoru wriggled under him as he clasp her hips with both of his knees. His hands wandering about her body and at the same time ridding her of his gi. Soon she was naked... under his mercy. Kaoru flushed a bit as his eyes roamed about her body again. Making her wetter in the center. Kenshin's calloused hand landed lightly on one of her breast as he brought his head down to suck on the attention-demanding nipple.
Kaoru screamed when Kenshin continue to pull and tug on his pink tip. Kenshin stopped and continued his sweet torture on the other one. He held the taut nipple in his clawed fingers and flicked his tongue on it.
"K-kenshin!" Kaoru pushed his head wanting him to give her what she wanted. Kenshin gave in and did what she had wished for. Their hips rocking against each other as Kaoru tossed her head about wildly.
"Mo-re..." Kaoru whispered as he went back and kiss her ardently on the lips. Biting and nibbling on the lower lip, making her moaned for more. After that he skated down to her neck. Kaoru yelped when she felt a painful yet pleasurable sensation shaking through her body.
He lowered his fangs as he bit her neck again. But this time it wasn't for blood... he had marked her as his. No other demons nor humans can touch her... if they did, under normal circumstances... they will be killed... under the worst conditions, they will be skinned alive and then being cut into smaller pieces and then the blood would prove nutritious... yes... that would be nice... but then maybe he would break his bones then...
"Kenshin... are you feeling alright?" Kaoru had found out that Kenshin was slow in his movement unlike his usual self. Not saying that he was rough all the time but he was more of a demanding type but yet... he was gentle and caring at all times. Kenshin looked up from his position to see those concern cerulean eyes looking at him. He buried his head into her neck and breathed in the moisture air mixed around there.
"Nothing... nothing much..." If he was to let Kaoru know what he was thinking at the moment when he was nibbling her neck... it was the best way to commit suicide... but not the very best way to prove his love. He pulled her up into straddling position on his lap. She laid her head on his shoulder.
"We have a lot of cleaning to do ne... Kenshin..." Kaoru frowned as she looked at the mess of bodies around their house.
"No... we don't. It's about time though..." Kenshin said casually as he licked her neck. Suddenly, the wind rose about them as the demons' bodies slowly faded with it.
"Why?"
"It's the demon's curse... whenever a demon dies... the body remains would be seen as the wind will bring us to a better place... That's what the older demons would say. We can live as long as we like... eternity is the word for it... but once we die, only our name will remain... our body and memories will fade like the wind. That's the curse of being a demon." Kenshin said solemnly. Then a warm hand cupped his cheeks.
"I will never forget you... not ever..." Kaoru bestowed Kenshin with her brightest smile and was rewarded with a hungry kiss.
"Let's get back in... the both of us need rest." Kenshin uttered as the both of them held each other's hand and entered their home.
The only demon that had broke the curse of forgetting ones loved one and still remembered how her loved one looked like was the cat demon... Siva... Not only did she remember everything about Kasuma... when she died, her name remains... her deeds for helping to re-build the demon world remains and revenge remains.
They betrayed us... and they have started the never-ending war...

"Yes my little koneko?" Kenshin asked as he saw her playing with his hair.
"Do you really believe about me being the re-incarnate of Siva?" Kaoru asked as she continued to twirl the red manes around her fingers.
"Siva or not... You are still Kaoru and I love you for that..." With that answer Kaoru smiled and fell asleep in Kenshin's arm. But this time... he won't leave her anymore... he would be there with her. He would be with her... forever as he promise... like how Kasuma promised Siva... Together forever...

Kenshin opened his tired eyelids and snuggled further into her warmth. The only warmth he was craving for since young. Ever since he saw her accidentally at the bazaar, he wanted her so bad. He had trained himself for her. He wanted to protect her, wanted her to belong only to him.
He brush away some black strands clinging on her forehead. She started mumbling something and cuddled further into Kenshin's chest where she could hide her face. He stroked her midnight tresses. Jasmine lingered onto the air around him as he sniffed the nice smell.
"Kaoru... wake up before I do anything drastic to wake you up..." Kenshin warned as he started pulling her even closer to him so he could lick her cheek. Kaoru shifted a little but went back to her sleep.
"Another few minutes will do..." Kaoru groaned as she grounded her forehead on Kenshin's hard chest. He pulled away and got out of the futon. Kaoru started to whine when her source of warmth was gone.
"Get up Kaoru... I got lots of things to teach you today... about the demon world..." Kenshin replied as he got out of the cave while Kaoru was shouting for him to wait for her. He stopped by the lake and wash his face and prepared himself for the day.
"Is the water cold?" Kaoru asked innocently as she watched Kenshin bathing himself. She looked at Kenshin when he didn't answer her. She started backing away when Kenshin neared her...
"Oh no you don't! Himura Kenshin! Don't you dare! KYAAAA!!!" Kaoru was soon envelope within Kenshin's lock and cold water surrounded her form. When she finally plop her head out of the cold surface of the water. She glared at Kenshin meanacingly.
"IT'S COLD YOU BAKA! You could have warned me about this!" Kaoru screeched while Kenshin just chuckled at his little kitten. He rubbed his nose on hers.
"Then it would spoil the fun now wouldn't it?" Kenshin chuckled further making Kaoru fuming even more.
"Mou!" Kaoru tried her best to feigned anger towards her little puppy... yes... Kenshin was hers! Her little puppy. She smiled when Kenshin started looking at her strangely, the look on his face made her giggled further.
"What are you thinking?" Kenshin asked as he began drying Kaoru up like last night and slipped her into his gi like usual. Kaoru just shrugged as she tied the sash on her gi. Then she took her weapon up and walked out of the cave, Kenshin quickly grabbed a katana and followed her out taking her hand when he reached her.
"We are going further into the forest, there will be different demons in there. I want you to know and how to avoid them to the best. Welcome to the Demons' World koneko." Kenshin said grinning down at her as he floated up in the air with Kaoru behind him.
"Kenshin!" Kaoru shrieked when she found out that Kenshin was actually FLYING! With little effort Kenshin managed to pull Kaoru up so that her body would be next to his. Expectedly, Kaoru immediately threw her hands around his neck. She hates heights... and he knew it.
"Kenshin... can't we walk?" Kaoru whispered as Kenshin landed gracefully on a thick branch.
"We can't... they would then know you are a human... at least with me, they will not notice that easily. Even if they know... they wouldn't do a thing to you." Kenshin grinned when Kaoru hugged him tighter as he tightened his hold around her with his tail. He sat her down on his laps as he balanced himself easily on the branch.
"Kenshin... we can't go down can we?" Kaoru looked at him pleadingly as he shook his head.
"Look... that's a Sasori Youkai." Kenshin pointed to the weird looking person; if there's anything Kaoru hate... they are heights and bugs. Definitely.
"Scorpions?" She gulped as she looked down at the demon. She nearly dropped down when the demon looked at her, but when Kenshin glared down at him, the scorpion demon bowed and walked away.
"Kenshin?"
"Yes? Koneko." Kenshin asked as he kept a look out for other demons especially those who knew how to hid themselves from him.
"Is it me or... there's something opposite us..." Kaoru pointed out to the tree opposite of theirs. The leaves rustled, Kenshin's eyes narrowed.
"What are you hiding there for? Shigure?" Kenshin asked as he raised two clawed fingers. Kaoru was awed when they both glowed with a yellow light at the fingertips.
"Battousai-sama... I am sorry to imposed on the both of you... but..."
"But you want to have Kaoru because she is the reincarnation of Siva... your past leader." Kenshin finished his sentence with ease. Shigure made a sound but kept his position.
"Battousai-sama... we do not want to fight with you. About Kaji... we would let it go but the girl will lead us to the human world!"
"Shigure... go tell Renzou that I will not pass Kaoru over. And she is not the reincarnated of Siva." With that Kenshin brought his two fingers down in a swift movement. As two whips came out of nowhere and sliced the branch where Shigure was standing.
"Battousai-sama! Re-consider please! We need the girl!"
"Go away Shigure... This girl is my woman now..." Kenshin growled at the figure below them as he stood up and was preparing to leave.
"You haven't marked her yet Battousai-sama! She doesn't smell like you yet!"
"You really want to die so much don't you Shigure?" Kenshin gripped on his katana got tensed.
"Siva must be revive! Siva doesn't belong to you Battousai-sama!"
"Kenshin..." Kaoru's sweet voice broke his thoughts as he looked at the girl beside him.
"Kaoru? You don't look good..."
"My... My head hurts..." Kaoru complained as one of her hand went up to hold her head.
"Itai... I-Ita-"
"Kaoru! Kaoru!" Kenshin shouted as he cradled her in his arms. She had fainted due to the stab of pain in her head. Kenshin glared at Shigure.
"What have you done?" Kenshin roared.
"I have done nothing Battousai-sama... It is Siva... Siva-sama is responding to our calls. Siva-sama will be awakened...!" Kenshin had enough as he whipped his two fingers down producing an explosion where Shigure stood. He didn't even bother to check whether Shigure really died. He flew back to their cave as his heart worried for his loved one.
He cupped a mouthful of water as he placed it on her small full lips. But Kaoru was refusing to take in even a dropped of it.
"Drink Kaoru!" The water only slipped over her mouth and slid down to her neck following the path down to her gi. Kenshin's eyes widen when he saw Kaoru's mouth moving putting his ear near he heard clearly what she was talking about.
"Kasuma... Give Kasuma back to me... I will revenge your death Kasuma..." Kenshin jerked away as if he was burnt. Kasuma... That name. Kasuma was Siva's lover, a bad feeling rose in his heart.
"Kaoru! Wake up! It's me! Kenshin da! Wake up!" Kenshin shook her shoulders roughly. Wanting her to wake from the dreams that don't belong to her. She was Kaoru... she wasn't Siva... She was Kaoru!
"Kaoru!" A groan was received as he finally stopped shaking her. She opened her fluttering eyelids fully. Kenshin's amber eyes widen fully when he caught a glimpse of orange eyes before she blinked them away.
"Ken... shin..." Kaoru whispered as he hugged her close to him. Afraid that she would leave him again.
"Kenshin... I dreamt of Siva again..." Her shoulders started trembling as her head throbbed again.
"It's okay... You are Kaoru and no one else... It's okay... I am here with you always..." Kenshin consoled Kaoru with his head on the crown of hers. Letting her know that he was not letting her go and she was not alone anymore... not anymore. Kaoru nodded as she held onto Kenshin as if it was her only life-source.
"I love you..." Kaoru muttered the words ever so softly but it was audible to Kenshin's sensitive hearing.
"I love you too... koneko chan..." Kenshin replied into her hair as her even breathing could be heard. He smiled down lovingly at his curled up mate. He carried her back into their cozy room in the cave. Tonight she shall rest... tomorrow would be another day to look forward to. Together with his love one...

Kenshin snapped open his eyes when he felt and heard something. He kept very still so as not to wake Kaoru who was presently sleeping very peacefully around his embrace. A slight sound could be heard again. He let go of Kaoru lightly and kissed her forehead. He stealthily took his katana and slid open the paper door. Once he stepped outside, he caught a kunai with the hilt of his katana.
"Who are you?" Kenshin growled as he closed the door behind him.
"We are here to take Siva-sama back." The shadows replied in unison.
"So there are more then one. I promised you that you will not see the sun after this fight." Kenshin warned as he took another step nearer.
"Be prepared to meet the lord of death!" Kenshin snarled as he unsheathe his katana cutting his way through the sea of demons that had crowded around his entrance.
Kaoru groaned as she heard the commotion outside. She snuggled closer to her one and only warmth. Kenshin. Her eyes snapped open when she found out that Kenshin was nowhere in the room they were in. She straightened her gi given from Kenshin and ran out to find an ocean of blood with demons on around the floor leading to the entrance. Her eyes cringed at the sight. Suddenly, a clash of metal sounded.
"Kenshin!!" Kaoru shouted as she made her way out as fast as possible without stepping onto the body parts that was scattered on the ground. There her lover was. He was already panting as he was bathed in his own blood and others. He was fighting two other demons at the same time. They were much stronger when they were transformed into their original form.
"You can't kill us in this form Battousai!" One of the demon sneered as Kenshin coughed out some blood.
"Hiraikotsu!" the boomerang sliced though the air as it reached the other demon.
"Kaoru! Stay BACK!" Kenshin warned as he quickly made his way to Kaoru but was stopped by the second demon.
"Your opponent will be me!"
"Kyaa!! Don't come near me! Don't touch me!" Kaoru screamed and struggled within his hold.
"Siva-sama... you would have to wake up."
"I am not Siva dammit! I am KAORU! Ka-o-ru!" Kaoru tried to reason with the snake.
"You are Siva-sama's reincarnate! She lives within you!" Korasu the snake demon tried again as his rattling tail wrapped around her petite body.
"Ken... shin..." Kaoru whispered as her breathe got caught in between her words. Out of the blue, Kaoru suddenly, felt her body dropping towards the ground. She shut her eyes tight as the resistance of the tail loosened. A pair of strong arms caught her fall. When she opened her eyes. There her savior stood.
"Kenshin..." Kenshin sat her aside and glared at the snake demon.
"Kaoru's mine... those who touched her will die!" With that Kenshin disappeared into the wind.
Those who touched her will join the lord of the death.
Blood splattered everyway as Kaoru ran towards Kenshin who was staggering towards her. He was drained of energy.
"Kao... ru..."
"Kenshin! Kenshin! What happened? You are bleeding so much!" Kaoru helped him to the bank of the river as she tore the hem of the gi and soaked it in water as she cleaned his body with it. Kenshin watched Kaoru who was frantically helping him.
"I'll be fine... I am a demon... my body will be able to take such blows from those weaklings." Kenshin smiled through his pain. He was losing too much blood through the long fight. He lost his control over himself therefore it spelled 'defeat' but thanks to his angel, he was able to focus again and saved him in the nick of time.
"You are losing a lot of blood Kenshin! You won't make it like this!" Kaoru cried and chided him at the same time. He knew of a way to save himself. But he cannot say a word about it. That would be to drink blood. Human blood. If he were to say it, Kaoru would be giving him hers. Definitely.
Out of nowhere, her mind suddenly told her the way to save her beloved. Give him human blood... it commanded.
Kaoru picked up Kenshin's body and placed his mouth over her pulse on the neck.
"Kao-"
"Drink it... onegai... drink it for me... let me help you." Kenshin tried to refuse her offer, but her constant plead and temptation of the hot blood that rush through her veins made him give in.
Kaoru pushed his head in urging him to drink her blood. His hands suddenly filled with energy, wrapped her body with his arms and crushed her body to his. Kaoru moaned as her fingers weaved with his crimson locks.
"K-kenshin..." Once he felt that it was enough he left the wound on Kaoru's neck. His mouth was smeared with her blood. Kaoru smiled as she lowered her lips to catch his.
Metallic blood flavor mixed within their sweet taste.
Kenshin moved away from the mouth and in a swift movement Kaoru's back met the soft ground below them as he suckled on her slender neck. Kaoru wriggled under him as he clasp her hips with both of his knees. His hands wandering about her body and at the same time ridding her of his gi. Soon she was naked... under his mercy. Kaoru flushed a bit as his eyes roamed about her body again. Making her wetter in the center. Kenshin's calloused hand landed lightly on one of her breast as he brought his head down to suck on the attention-demanding nipple.
Kaoru screamed when Kenshin continue to pull and tug on his pink tip. Kenshin stopped and continued his sweet torture on the other one. He held the taut nipple in his clawed fingers and flicked his tongue on it.
"K-kenshin!" Kaoru pushed his head wanting him to give her what she wanted. Kenshin gave in and did what she had wished for. Their hips rocking against each other as Kaoru tossed her head about wildly.
"Mo-re..." Kaoru whispered as he went back and kiss her ardently on the lips. Biting and nibbling on the lower lip, making her moaned for more. After that he skated down to her neck. Kaoru yelped when she felt a painful yet pleasurable sensation shaking through her body.
He lowered his fangs as he bit her neck again. But this time it wasn't for blood... he had marked her as his. No other demons nor humans can touch her... if they did, under normal circumstances... they will be killed... under the worst conditions, they will be skinned alive and then being cut into smaller pieces and then the blood would prove nutritious... yes... that would be nice... but then maybe he would break his bones then...
"Kenshin... are you feeling alright?" Kaoru had found out that Kenshin was slow in his movement unlike his usual self. Not saying that he was rough all the time but he was more of a demanding type but yet... he was gentle and caring at all times. Kenshin looked up from his position to see those concern cerulean eyes looking at him. He buried his head into her neck and breathed in the moisture air mixed around there.
"Nothing... nothing much..." If he was to let Kaoru know what he was thinking at the moment when he was nibbling her neck... it was the best way to commit suicide... but not the very best way to prove his love. He pulled her up into straddling position on his lap. She laid her head on his shoulder.
"We have a lot of cleaning to do ne... Kenshin..." Kaoru frowned as she looked at the mess of bodies around their house.
"No... we don't. It's about time though..." Kenshin said casually as he licked her neck. Suddenly, the wind rose about them as the demons' bodies slowly faded with it.
"Why?"
"It's the demon's curse... whenever a demon dies... the body remains would be seen as the wind will bring us to a better place... That's what the older demons would say. We can live as long as we like... eternity is the word for it... but once we die, only our name will remain... our body and memories will fade like the wind. That's the curse of being a demon." Kenshin said solemnly. Then a warm hand cupped his cheeks.
"I will never forget you... not ever..." Kaoru bestowed Kenshin with her brightest smile and was rewarded with a hungry kiss.
"Let's get back in... the both of us need rest." Kenshin uttered as the both of them held each other's hand and entered their home.
The only demon that had broke the curse of forgetting ones loved one and still remembered how her loved one looked like was the cat demon... Siva... Not only did she remember everything about Kasuma... when she died, her name remains... her deeds for helping to re-build the demon world remains and revenge remains.
They betrayed us... and they have started the never-ending war...
