Chapter 4: Reappearing...

"I will never forget you... not ever..." Kaoru bestowed Kenshin with her brightest smile and was rewarded with a hungry kiss.

"Let's get back in... the both of us need rest." Kenshin uttered as the both of them held each other's hand and entered their home.

The only demon that had broke the curse of forgetting ones loved one and still remembered how her loved one looked like was the cat demon... Siva... Not only did she remember everything about Kasuma... when she died, her name remains... her deeds for helping to re-build the demon world remains and revenge remains.

They betrayed us... and they have started the never-ending war...

Kenshin sighed audibly as he roasted their dinner outside of the cave. Kaoru had gone to bathe herself as she complained how sweaty she was because of the training they had. Not forgetting the lessons on those demons again.

Renzou... Kenshin narrowed his eyes and he thought of that man. Renzou was a wolf demon. He had power and support from the other demons. Because he was the one who was going to revive Siva. If they attacked now... even if he had changed into his demon form, he might not be able to win them. Renzou was equal to him in strength and speed. Now the problem was the demons that are helping him. He will lose to him in numbers.

Kenshin cursed under his breath as he thought of other plans to keep them from coming to Kaoru. Besides... he wasn't in full health yet. Though, he told Kaoru he had demon blood flowing within him, those injuries meant nothing. Yes... it was true. But he would need to have proper rest. That meant, no fighting. However the numbers of demon coming to them had been countless. He had little injuries here and there. Not much of a concern towards that.

The main part was the poison within his veins now.

Damn, that Kaji.

Kaji had planted the poison in his abdomen during their fight. And thanks to Kaoru, he was save. He underestimated them. After that incident came the flood of weakling demons and two demon-formed snakes. Those rattle tails... came to think about it how much he wished to sliced them off to stop create them rattling sound that annoyed his sensitive ears to no end.

He had a hard battle with them because of the invisible barrier that protects them when the shake their bloody tail. His katana couldn't even pierce through them. By then he had also lost focus and was fighting wildly.

Kenshin held one of his hands to press on his aching wound. It was better after Kaoru's ultimate care and her determination that he stayed down. He had watched her combat with about two to three demons. And she won victoriously. Kenshin gave her a kodachi in case of a close combat. Kaoru had fell in love with that weapon and took good care of it. She had been training with both of it and she was getting swifter and had more accuracy this time round.

Kenshin had gone to the town again the other day to inspect what had changed. Apparently nothing. He had to buy some products for Kaoru and more presentable clothes that suit her. Though she looked breath taking in his gi, she had wanted something else. And there, he bought her a few set of yukata... short yukata I must add. And some other knee-length kimonos. He had saw something very interesting, thus he bought it for her.

A hairpin.

Kaoru had loved it, but instead of putting it in her hair. Kaoru decided to place it in her obi and the dangling object bounced about freely around her waist. The sharp sound of the bell never failed to catch his vital attention.

Ding-ding...

Kenshin snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the lady standing not far from him, securing her wet hair with the pin.

"Kenshin? Why are glaring at the rabbit? You don't expect it to cook faster do you?" Kaoru asked teasingly as she wrapped her white yukata tighter around her. Kenshin looked at the goddess in front of him. Her body was still wet from the bath and the white yukata was a wee bit revealing. Not that he was complaining, but was it getting hot or it was just him?

"Kenshin? Why are you..." Kaoru followed his eyesight and trailed down to her body. She blushed a little as the white yukata did nothing to cover her body and it was WAY to obvious as the two pink tips showed themselves proudly under the thin material. She quickly covered her breast and pouted at Kenshin.

"Hentai." Kaoru chided Kenshin softly. Kenshin smiled a trademark sexy smile as he patted his lap. Inviting her to sit on it. Kaoru walked to him slowly and took the invitation. Instantly, his black tail curled around her body. The tip of the tail stroking her face until she caught it and snuggled her face into the soft fur. Kenshin chuckled as he the roasted meat.

"It's done..." Kenshin said as he handed it to her. Kaoru look at the roasted food and look back up at Kenshin.

"Feed me..." Kaoru coaxed as she settled herself even more comfortably in his embrace. Kenshin sliced a small amount of it and fed his little kitten. She slowly nibbled her way as he lifted it higher with each bite.

"Kenshin... I can't eat like this..." Kaoru whined as she tried to hold his hand while she ate the meat. Finally giving in to her, Kenshin sliced another piece and ate it himself. They shared the dinner as they few each other. Kisses here and there. Touches once and twice. After everything, Kenshin buried the last traces of fire with sand and dirt. After that, he went to clean himself up while Kaoru entered the cave... to their room.

"Ooff..." Kaoru made a sound as she tumbled into the futon as her leg got caught in between the covers. A low chuckle caught her attention as she glared at him.

"You know how to entangle yourself with blankets Kaoru... that you definitely do." He continued to tease her as he placed his katana along with Kaoru's hiraikotsu and kodachi.

"Mou... you could at least help." Kaoru whined as she tried getting up herself. But she stopped suddenly when she felt Kenshin's hand entwined on her waist as he pushed her back to the futon.

"Kenshin?"

"Hush, koneko chan..." With that Kenshin flipped her over so that her back faced the futon instead of her knees. Almost immediately, Kenshin caught her lips with his. Ravishing his endless passion for this human. Kaoru moaned helplessly in his lips as she tried to return as much as she could.

She entangled those wet strands of hair within her slender fingers, as Kenshin took out the hairpin that held her hair together. Black tresses spread about her head. Kenshin let her mouth go, as it looked swollen. He lowered his head again to nibble lightly on her full lower lip. Then he slid his tongue into hers, battling with each other. Wanting to taste each other.

Kenshin jerked at the sash that held her yukata together. In a swift movement, it went to the floor. He molded his hand to her breast as her breathing became haggard and her back was arched off the futon.

"K-kenshin!!" His tongue met the taut nipple. As he pulled and grazed his teeth ever so lightly on it creating bolts of sensation going through Kaoru.

"You want more don't you? Or have you changed your mind..." He felt Kaoru shaking her head. Kaoru pushed his hand lower till it was right on top of it.

"I want... it... I want you." The last part of the sentence turned out to be a shriek as Kenshin's teased made a little rub on the entrance of her womanhood.

"Get your clothes Kaoru... Someones out there... and they reeked of human's smell." Kenshin replied as Kaoru looked at him somewhat confused.

"Kenshin... don't be silly... I'm a human..." Kaoru stopped short when Kenshin kissed her fully on her lips.

"You are different. I was accustomed to your smell since young... I learn to love it and yours is specially different from them for some reasons that I do not understand myself. Now get dress..." Kenshin replied in seriousness and Kaoru did as she was told. She took their weapons out just in case.

Before they went out of the opening towards the cave. Kenshin ordered Kaoru to stay at the turning corner. He will check it out, but before he waited for an answer he was transforming back into his demon-form.

No wonder he had chosen such a big cave. Damn... he was a big puppy. Kaoru thought as she saw the head of Kenshin's dog form coming down to give her a loving nudged. Then he exited. Kenshin waited patiently

"Kenshin no baka..." Kaoru uttered as she pouted listening intently. Out of the blue, bolts of fire arrows shot towards Kenshin. As he had expected, humans are so predictable at times. Kenshin just stomped his paw on the ground and an unseen barrier seem to have extinguish the fire heads before they even got an inch near Kenshin. Kaoru was awe.

Kenshin crouched down as he growled slightly and whisperings was heard. It did nothing to helped soften the warning growl. The villager's chief finally came out of his hiding.

"So the rumors are true, you live here. Where's the bitch?" Kaoru cringed at the word bitch. After what good she had helped the village... she was a bitch now eh? Blood boiled in her body as she clutched to the hairpin Kenshin gave. It always acted as an amulet to her. It never left her side once.

Kenshin neared them another foot, afraid some dropped the bow as other's fire at their own will. Kenshin's patience ran low. Not only did they interfered his time with his love, they called her an insult remark and now this. He roared as he bared his sharp fangs. Only some brave ones took their rusty swords running towards Kenshin.

Kaoru looked from afar. Those swords can't even scratch him! As expected a paw from Kenshin send them flying in different directions. Kaoru looked at the fighting.

Kenshin was going to kill them. A sick feeling whirled around her stomach. No! She won't allow it.

"Kenshin!!" Kaoru shouted as she ran towards the distance in between the humans and Kenshin. Kaoru could see how angry he was. With the snarling at sort... who wouldn't. Kaoru stood her ground.

"They have hurt enough... let them go..." A growl escaped Kenshin's mouth as he continued to shake his head.

"If you hurt them anymore... I'm not going with you anymore!" Kaoru threatened and it sent Kenshin back a few steps. Kenshin was angry... furious at the villagers and Kaoru. How could she still fend for them after what they had did? He looked into the azure eyes. She was pleading him silently. Kenshin looked away as he lay down at the corner of the cave. He couldn't really changed back to his human form if those bloody humans were still around. He cannot allowed them to see what he really looks like or else he won't be able to enter the village as easily next time.

Kaoru smiled slightly as she turned towards the villagers.

"Please... leave and don't come back. We mean you no harm. Onegai... just go." Kaoru said as she bowed towards them sincerely. Kenshin opened an eye to see how things were going for Kaoru. He still didn't like how Kaoru bowed towards the like of the people. Out of the corner of it, he saw a man inching towards her with a katana in his hand. He was up straight away. Not only one, but there were two of them. Kenshin barked at Kaoru who turned towards him and placed a finger on her lips.

Suddenly, pain invaded the back and front of each side of her shoulders. She dropped to the ground as she curled up into a ball because of the pain.

"W-why?" Kaoru asked in between her breath. Kenshin couldn't care less about his form anymore. He ran to her as the humans saw how his transformation took place. Kenshin cradled her body to his.

"Kaoru... Kaoru!!" Kenshin called out as he blinked a few drops of tears away from his eyes. He could stand any pain... the only pain he could never endure was whatever pain Kaoru was feeling and the agony of her leaving him.

"Now! He's not as strong as he is when he's in a demon form!" The chief instructed. As on cue, sea of fire arrows shot his way. Kenshin threw Kaoru back onto the ground as he covered her petite form.

"Kenshin!! Go away! Get off me!!" Kaoru pleaded as Kenshin got burnt and shot at the same time. Drops of blood escaped his mouth as they got onto Kaoru's face...

"You'll die like this! Please... please..." Kaoru's own eyes flooded with tears. Kenshin just smiled.

"I'll die by your hands or by protecting you... I swore that already..." Kenshin whispered as the embers of fire surrounded them. Kaoru couldn't stop her tears that were riveting down her cheeks.

Kenshin soon collapsed onto her body. Fearing what she never wanted to happen. She got Kenshin off of her as the arrows stopped coming.

"Kenshin!! Kenshin!! Wake up!! Look at me!!" Kaoru yelled like a crazy woman as her hand cupped the side of Kenshin's face. She couldn't think logically.

So this was how Siva felt when Kasuma died in front of her.

Kaoru felt a surged of energy building within her. Hatred. The pain in her head came back again. A hand grabbed onto her head as she continued to shake Kenshin. Wanting him to wake up.

This time she welcomed her pain. Knowing that Kenshin was no longer with her she wanted to die along with him.

Suddenly, a voice within her talked to her.

`See? Humans are always like this... they take what benefits them and kill off those doesn't... why protect them?'

"No... it's not like this..." Kaoru whispered to herself. A hand behind her rose as her archers prepare for the second round. This time to kill her.

`Kenshin died... because of them... It's their fault!!'

"All their fault..." Kaoru echoed as she started to feel rage building within her.

`Yes... hate them...'

"IT ALL YOUR FAULT!!" Kaoru shouted as she stood and whirled around to meet the villagers' eyes. The signal hand went down, gesturing to fire. They did and out of a sudden an orange light blinded their sight as laughter rang into their ears. The arrows were all destroyed.

The striking light finally died down and they saw what had become of Kaoru.

Her black hair was longer than before, her features shaper. Her blue eyes now into orange sexy orbs. Her short yukata changed into an orange tight dress, with two high slits showing off her long slim legs. On her head held two sharp little ears that belonged to a cat. Her hands became clawed and a long raven slender tail wrapped around her perfect figure. Kaoru's injury was no where to be seen

"We meet again... Sanrou-san" It was Kaoru's voice but... it wasn't her. It was her reincarnation. Siva!

"Si-si-siva!" The village chief fell behind. He had never thought of seeing her again. When he saw her it was when he was a child. The village chief's son that Kasuma saved.

"Ara? I see you remember my face old lad. I'm glad." Her eyes went to the side where Kenshin lay. Kaoru knelt and placed her face near his nose.

He was still breathing... although it was shallow.

Siva placed a hand over his fatal wounds. A bright light shone and Kenshin was back to his normal state. Siva smiled and placed a hand over her heart.

"Where's Kaoru?" The villager's asked. Siva felt a tugged at her lips.

"She's right here... crying her eyes out..." She replied while patting her heart.

"And thanks to all of you... I get to come out again." Siva smirked.

"To come out again and kill the living daylights out of you!" She yelled as she whipped out an orange whip with her fingernails. The people screamed as she laughed bitterly.

"You humans never learn!!" Siva yelled as she killed a handful of people with only a swing of the finger. The villagers continue to assault her with their weapons.

"Those weapons would do you no good!" Siva laughed again as she whirled around as the two whips flew about her and killed those who neared her. Her orange cat ears twitched as she caught what ever was hovering towards her...

Kaoru's Hiraikotsu...

I hope I did good though... I'm not really confident over that part... sooo I hope you could overlook it if it sounds weird.. but do tell me how I fare ne~ So how was Siva's debut? Nice? When i wrote the part where Kenshin actually got seriously injured because of Kaoru... my whole heart sunk.. SERIOUS!! Kenshin will always do that ne.. protecting the one you love risking his own life... YOSHI! I really hope you'll like this chappie ne! And i hope none of ya are disappointed... ^^ r&r ne!!
