Author's Note: “Queen of Hearts” is being written in poetry-form; in this case, I am writing it as a sonnet, in which there are fourteen lines that follow a rhyming pattern of `abab cdcd efef gg,' the sonnet ending with a couplet. Unlike “Coming Together,” my ballad, there is a “meter” for this - in each of the fourteen lines, each line must have only ten syllables. This was also written for the “fanfic100” Livejournal community.

You are a woman of beautiful eyes,
For they hold the truth - and only the truth;

For they are very bold, and truly wise;

For only you can hold and capture youth.

They have told me many times before, that
You are indeed one of a kind: Therefore,

Even if you're not the best in combat,
Even if I hadn't noticed before,
Now I'm very sure and very certain,
That you have captured my eyes with your art,
That I won't look upon you in disdain,
For, truly, my dear, you are queen of hearts.
