Comment/Review:
This is a very interesting ballad, and quite cute as well. It flows well and stays true to its rhyme scheme. However, there were some things in it that could have been better. It felt like a romantic piece, but there were a couple lines that took from that. "Or was it early eighteen seventy-five?" felt like it was only added to make it rhyme, and somewhat takes from the romantic feel of the poetry. "In his mother's stead" also felt a little strange, as if she were more like a mother than a wife. I like, however, how this shows a different side to Saitou than in the show. It was quite lovely.
