[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
With what happened in the last chapter, our heroes and heroines are getting an idea that Suguha has a bit of ‘dark history’ in her. Well, you already know what it is by reading the stories of my fanfiction series based on of the Hollow Fragment ‘timeline’ AKA SAO game series, but I’m not going to say anymore than that because it would be giving spoilers and that would ruin the story! Now, before I start, once again, I would like to give thanks and credit to Belletiger and Kanius and Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon series, especially this author’s The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them. I would also like to give thanks and credit to Matty G91 and this author’s story of Kamen Rider Lunar for giving me permission to use Kamen Rider Lunar, his looks, and everything about him as well as the UNI-SHOCKER organization.

Sailor Moon Online II: SAO Shippuden

(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’ starts)

As the intro starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and Lux.

The next shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya, who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya, warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori appear behind her.

Just then it turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis, the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her enemy.

Next, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica, Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and Rasengan, in this ‘fight demonstration’.

Then we find Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.

The scene changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500) while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch into an epic titanic fight.

Just then we see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they defeat the Divine Serpent.

Naruto and Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata, Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges along with the Crimson Dragon.

The scene then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them look into the distance.

Finally, we have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering the Rasengan, Leafa flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc III: Chapter 4: Striking from the Dueling Shadows

May 12, 2026, Tokyo, Dicey Café

Inside of Dicey Café, Andrew is sitting in front of his bar table as our Digidestined and their Digimon partners, Sailor Scouts, Darien, Kazuto, Rika, Keiko, Hiyori, Kotone, Shion, and Ryoutarou are assembled together and discussing something.

Lita says, “Three days in a row…”

Keiko says, “I never thought that I wouldn’t see Suguha in ALO for so long. She loves to fly in ALO.”

Darien says, “It shows how serious Suguha is taking this.”

Shion says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

Ryoutarou asks Kazuto, “She hasn’t been home for three days?”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “That’s right. She still goes to school, but she doesn’t come home. She called home to say that she is staying over a friend, but I know different. However, I decide not to scare mom especially after I asked about THAT day while I was trapped in SAO.”

Flashback; May 10, 2026, Tokyo, Kirigaya Residence

Within the Kirigaya residence, Kazuto is with his adoptive mother/aunt, Midori Kirigaya, in which Midori gives a look of shock as Kazuto tells her something.

Midori asks, very shocked tone in her voice, “Kazuto, h-how did you know about that?”

Kazuto says, “It…It is a long story.” Kazuto asks Midori, “What happened?”

Midori’s arms start to shiver slightly in which Kazuto noticed immediately and she says, nervously, “I-It was a nightmare, Kazuto. You were already trapped in that horrible ‘death game’ and you could have died at any time, but then…then this happened to Suguha and I felt that I was going to lose her!” As tears formed in her eyes, Midori says, nervously, “That evening. Suguha was visiting one of her friends after her kendo at school. She has had a lot on her mind you understand. I knew that she would come home after I got home that night. However, shortly after I had gotten home, there was a knock at the door. And when I answered, there was a police officer. I was shocked and I was more shocked that he asked if I had a daughter named Suguha. A fearful dread came over me and the police officer told me that it wasn’t due to Suguha being any trouble with the law…But he then told me that it was because she was brutally attacked on her way. He said that police officers heard her calling for help and that the officers found her covered…covered in blood…HER blood…!!” Midori holds herself and she says, really nervous tone in her voice, “I was beyond horrified. I was screaming about what happened to her. The police officer said that all that they know is that she was brutally attacked and all that Suguha mentioned that her attacker…BIT her like some vampire or something and they found two holes in her neck! By then, I was in a total panic! The police officer manage to calm me down and took me to the hospital where Suguha was, but when I got there, the fear and panic rose in me again. She was lying down on operating table and the doctors said that she lost a lot of blood from the wounds in which the situation was worse because the parts of her blood that are supposed to seal cuts and wounds wasn’t working! Her wounds weren’t healing like they should be!”

Kazuto gasps and he asks, “The bleeding wouldn’t stop?!”

Midori says, with tears in her eyes, “Y-Yes, Kazuto! It wouldn’t stop and she had to have multiple blood transfusions throughout the night and into the following day! I was beyond horrified! You could have died in that horrible ‘death game’ at any time and it looked like that I was going to lose Suguha too!” Midori starts to cry and Kazuto hugged her mother in which Midori hugged her adoptive son/nephew back until she calmed down.

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “When Sugu got impaled by Kaiou and got seriously wounded, it must have been like a repeat of that nightmare!”

When Midori calmed down, she says, weakly, “Somehow, by some miracle, Suguha managed to pull through and her wounds started to heal, but it took her awhile to recover. Oh, Kami, it was beyond horrifying Kazuto.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I know. I’m sorry that I had you remember that horrible time.” Kazuto then asks, “But the case was never solved?”

Midori says, shaking her head, “No. They never caught him. When Suguha had recovered enough to speak with the detectives, she said that it looked like a handsome man in which he was strong and it looked like had animal fangs for canines in his mouth in which what was she bit him with. She said that she had somehow manage beat the person off and run of holding off her wound. The police said that it was a miracle that she is still alive. They examined Suguha’s blood stained clothing for any clues, but they found nothing.”

Kazuto asks, curiously, “How bad was Sugu?”

Midori says, with a solemn tone, “Horrible. She had nightmares about for months especially the first days out of the hospital. I would find wide awake, pale, in a cold sweat, and in tears.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, concerned, “Sugu…”

Midori asks Kazuto, “Kazuto, what’s really going on? How did you find out about that?” Midori asks, concerned, “Does this have to do with what happened at the Kaiba Dome a few days ago? Is this one of those ‘things’ as a Sailor Scout?”

Kazuto takes a minute and he then says, “I’ll tell you everything.”

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, Kazuto tells the others, “And I told her everything.”

Kazuto looks at the Sailor Scouts and Serena says, “It’s all right, Kazuto.”

Amara asks Kazuto, “Did you talk to your mother about Suguha during the time in-between when you and kitten first got trapped in SAO until when she started playing ALO?”

Kazuto says in reply, “Actually, I did…”

Flashback; May 10, 2026, Tokyo, Kirigaya Residence

After explaining the situation to Midori, Kazuto’s adoptive mom gives a look of shock and she then says, annoyed, “I don’t care if Jack Atlas is a world champion Turbo Duelist! He has no right to treat my daughter like…like a criminal!”

Kazuto tells Midori, with a smile, “Don’t worry. He learned his lesson. Sugu made sure of that.”

When Kazuto tells Midori about how Suguha used a judo throw on Jack, Midori asks, a bit surprised, “Suguha learned judo?”

Kazuto tells Midori, “I was surprised as you are mom. In fact, the rest of us were surprised.” Kazuto asks Midori, “Mom, I need to know. What happened to Sugu after the attack on her up to the time that she started playing ALO? Was she acting so…so different?”

Midori gives a sigh and she says, with a nod, “Yes. I couldn’t understand what was happening to her. It was really strange.”

Kazuto asks, “Strange?”

Midori says, “After Suguha recovered from the attack and came home, she started to act really strange. On sunny days, she kept her curtains closed in her room and only opened them on cloud and rainy days.” Kazuto gives a surprised look and Midori says, “She told me that the sun gave her a headache. I thought it was due to her staying at home for a while after she left the hospital…being cooped up all day, but whenever Suguha was in the sunny day, she started to look paler.”

Kazuto asks, confused, “Paler?”

Midori says, “Yes. Paler. It was really strange. But then after a good while, it stopped. However, Suguha started to act really strange. I got calls from the families of her friends and they told me that her friends told them that she started to act very nasty to them. And I have to admit that Suguha’s personally was really different too. She was…colder.”

Kazuto asks, curiously, “Colder?”

Midori says, with a nod, “She didn’t have that ‘bright spark’ that she had before you were trapped in SAO and what she has now. Not to mention that she started to dress like a…a biker…one of those American biker criminals. It was…disturbing.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “I’ll bet. I was shocked to see Sugu wearing such clothing!”

Midori says, “Based on what I told the doctors, they said that she might be trying to ‘deal’ with the brutal attack that she suffered. They also believe that she may be suffering PTSD and with her nightmares that she suffered that horrible day.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Based on what I saw from those pictures, I wouldn’t be surprising. It was horrifying! And based on what mom said about her having nightmares immediately after the attack, Sugu must have suffered horrible mental and emotional trauma…I know someone who is suffering trauma from a horrible event…”

Midori says, “Suguha also spent less time at home and going to who knows where, but when I asked, she would never give me a straight answer. She still went to school, did kendo, and such things, but while her grades and kendo didn’t suffer, it was like she was distancing herself from me and the friends that she had. I was worried and I didn’t know what to do. Then one day, out of the blue, she asked me for an Amusphere, which shocked me to the core, in which she seems to show a public distain for VR technology.”

Kazuto asks, curiously, “Public distain?”

Midori says, with a nod, “She gave a ‘dirty look’ when the Amusphere first came out and VR games in general. You can understand why.” When Midori looks at her adoptive son, Kazuto gave a nod at her implications and Midori says, “So, you have to understand that I was shocked when she asked to get one. But for some reason, I gave in. These days, I think…I know that it was a good idea since Suguha back herself again after she started playing ALO.”

Kazuto asks Midori, “Completely back to normal?”

Midori says, with a nod, “Yes. It was like she never changed in the first place. She reconnected with her friends, doing the things that she loved, and she was generally herself again. I was completely shocked and confused, but since Suguha was herself again, I decided not to go into it especially after you were finally freed from that horror.”

Kazuto says, curiously, “I see…” Kazuto asks Midori, “Mom, did you ever know that Suguha knew Yuuko Kamishimo?”

Midori responds, shaking her head, “No, Kazuto. I never knew that she knew someone so famous until now. And now, I learned that she wants revenge against my daughter because of something that happened to them. What’s going on?”

Kazuto tells his adoptive mother, “I wish that any of us knew, mom. The only one that can answer our questions…is Sugu herself.”

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, our heroes and heroines are thinking about what Kazuto had said and Cody says, “It seems like something did happen to Suguha during the time around SAO started and when she started to play ALO with that brutal attack being a ‘trigger’ of some kind causing her to act very differently than she normally would act.”

Ken says, “Then when she started playing ALO or at least, around that time, she started to return back to who she was before.”

Amara says, “Well, we can say that ALO was part of the change back to her ‘normal self’. She really enjoys ALO because she loves to fly in it. It was one of the factors that allow her to return to her original self.”

Hotaru asks Amara, curiously, “One of the factors?”

Amara says, with a nod, “Yes, Firefly. There is more to it than that. From what Raye and I sensed about Yuuko, she had a lot of negative energy around her. The hatred and rage towards Kitten and Suguha is strong, but she wasn’t lying either. She and Suguha know each other and their ‘parting’ wasn’t on ‘good terms’.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “To say the least.”

Kotone says, “With the way that we know of Suguha, it is hard to believe that she was any different than what we knew her.”

Keiko says, with a nod, “Yes.”

Tai asks Izzy, “What about what Suguha and Yuuko said?”

Izzy says, with a nod, “Ami, Trista, and I gathered all the information and what they said is true. Yuuko Kamishimo had a brother, Yugo Kamishimo, and I mean HAD.”

Ami says, “He is a victim of SAO and he died EXACTLY on the date mentioned by Suguha.”

There are plenty of wide-eyes in the room and Asuna says, solemnly, “He was part of that horrible boss battle.”

Serena gives a solemn look and Raye tells Serena, “Okay, Meatball Head, none of that again.”

Serena tells Raye, annoyed, “I know!” Serena says, with a solemn sigh, “It’s just getting to be a major…headache. We’ve already had a bad enough experience with Professor Shigemura, Eiji, and Ordinal Scale that ended just around a week ago.”

Lita says, “Well, it wasn’t just an ‘SAO legacy’ that was a part of it.”

Mina says, with a smile, “Yeah! It was that UNI-SHOCKER organization using their plans to increase their power.”

Tai says, “True, but it didn’t make less of a headache.”

Matt says, “What we do know is this girl is possibly the leader of this organization that’s using an ancient evil power that was fought and defeated by Yugi Moto, Joey Wheeler, their friends, and Seto Kaiba, but now, it is back.”

Cody says, looking at the Kazuto, “And the fact that Suguha fought evil power before with the Legendary Knights of Atlantis.”

Ken says, with a plain tone, “And now, Yuuko Kamishimo and Suguha knew each other and not only does she have a ‘grudge’ against Serena for SAO, but she has a grudge against Suguha too. That means that the two of them fought each other before.”

Amara says, plainly, “It must mean that Yuuko was part of this organization, Neo Paradius, before she became the leader. And it also means that Suguha and Yuuko ‘crossed blades’ before too.”

Keiko asks, curiously, “But what does it mean that she betrayed her?”

Just then a familiar female voice says, “I said exactly what I meant Legendary Knight holder.” Everyone whips around to the source to see Yuuko Kamishimo right in front of them.

Davis yells out, “What the?!”

Amara and Raye gasp in shock and Raye thinks in her mind, stunned, “Impossible! How come I didn’t sense her?! Her negative aura should…”

Yuuko then says to Raye and Amara, plainly, “If you are wondering why you didn’t sense me, Sailor Mars, and neither did Sailor Uranus, I let you sense my aura before. I have the ability to negate your ‘spiritual senses’.”

Amara says, stunned, “Impossible!”

Yuuko says, plainly, “And yet, I stand before you and you didn’t detect me.”

Lita thinks in her mind, “This is bad! If she can’t get by their senses, then we are in trouble!”

Yuuko says, plainly, “Tsukino and her ‘royal brother’ didn’t sense me because I’m not here to fight, so, their ‘danger sense’ wouldn’t help them. I know how to control my emotions.”

Tai asks Yuuko, seriously, “You have got some nerve facing us? What are you doing here?”

Yuuko says, pointing to Davis, “If you want Joey-dono’s sister and his friends back safely, the new Star Dragon King will face my representative at Odaiba Park in an hour.”

There are surprised looks and Davis asks, “Say what?”

Kari asks, seriously, “Why should Dai-kun fall into your trap?!”

Yuuko replies, with a plain tone, “I have Joey-dono’s sister and friends and they aren’t important to history like he, Yugi-dono, the Kaiba brothers, and Duke Delvin-dono, who I know is safely with you, are, so, history won’t change if I slit their throats…”

There are gasps and Lita says, angrily, “You…!!”

As Lita prepares to attack Yuuko, Yuuko says, holding up her hand, “If I don’t come back or anything happens to me, they will be automatically killed.”

Lita freezes in her tracks and Ami tells Lita, “We can’t risk it, Lita-chan!”

Serena asks, in a pleading tone, “Why are you doing this?”

Yuuko replies, plainly, “Why? To cause you pain. However, there is more to it than that. Once I gather enough powerful souls, I will able to acquire a power that makes the Great Leviathan look like nothing and then I will use that power to purify this world.”

Mimi asks, curiously, “Purify?”

Tai says, seriously, “More like destroy everything that she doesn’t agree with.”

Rika yells out, annoyed, “What the heck is your problem?”

Yuuko doesn’t say a word for several seconds and she says, “My brother and I loved the virtual world…” There are surprised looks from the others and Yuuko says, “We knew of the possibilities of the VR worlds and we believed in that dream…until SAO happened and our dream became a nightmare.” Yuuko glares at Serena with a dark deadly glare and she says, plainly, but anger evident in her voice, “You…your uncle, Kayaba, shattered our dream and his ‘death game’ took the life of my brother and they, the survivors of that horror, call you a hero!”

Serena flinches from her glare and Keiko says, “But she is a hero! She fought with everything that she had to save as many players…people as possible.”

Yuuko asks, with a deadly dark tone, “And where was she for my brother? Where was she, Sailor Moon, the supposed champion of love and justice, for my brother? Why is she still around when my brother is nothing, but ashes?!”

Darien says, with a stern tone, “Not even Sailor Moon can save everyone. She learned that harsh lesson because of SAO. She isn’t a kami. None of us are deities!”

Yuuko says, with a dark plain tone, “Excuses…Empty excuses that I don’t want to hear.” As Yuuko turns to leave, she says, plainly, “Remember my warning. Daisuke Motomiya WILL be at Odaiba Park to duel my representative or those mentioned shall perish.”

Davis yells out, angrily, “What’s your deal?!”

Yuuko says, “Simple. I focus on you and your beloved and Suguha will come right into my hands.” Yuuko says, plainly, “And if you think that she will come because of your friendship, you are mistaken. Her guilt over you, two, is the reason that she will come.”

Kari asks, confused, “Guilt?”

Yuuko replies, plainly, “You still don’t realize what she did to the two of you. When you do, you will realize WHO Suguha truly and the true depths of the darkness in her very soul.”

Kazuto yells out, in an irritated tone, “What do you mean?”

Yuuko tells Kazuto, “You think, as her brother, you know Suguha? I know more about her than you can ever hope to do. If you think that I’m wrong, then why didn’t she or your adoptive mother tell her of the brutal attack on Suguha shortly after you were trapped in the same ‘death game’ that cost my brother his life?” Kazuto gives a flinch from that and Yuuko says, plainly, “It makes me wonder if you are truly brother and sister in any sense. You may see that there is nothing connecting you two at all. Farewell.” Yuuko then walks outside in which Kazuto and a few of the others follow her, but when they are outside of the door, Yuuko had completely vanished!

Lita asks, confused, “What the?!”

Mina asks, confused, “Where did she go?”

Ken says, “Remember, she seemed to use a ‘teleportation power’ when we saw her at the former Dark Signers’ base.” Soon enough, everyone assembles back inside and they discuss what just happened.

Hiyori asks, “What did she mean by all that?”

Rika says, annoyed, “She is just your typical villain. She is just trying to divide us.”

Davis says, with a snarl, “Yeah! She is a villain! She uses lies and decide to try to divide us, so, we would be easier to defeat!” Kazuto nods his head in agreement, but what Yuuko had said about the brutal attack on Suguha that happened shortly after he was trapped in SAO triggered something in him.

Mimi asks, “So, what do we do?”

Davis says, “What choice do we have? Those Joey-dono’s sister and friends! We can’t just abandon them!”

Yolei says, sternly, “We aren’t going to help anyone falling into their trap!”

Veemon asks, “Do we even have a choice?”

TK says, with a nod, “They seem to hold the cards, if you forgive the pun.”

Darien says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think that she was ‘kidding around’ or making a bluff. She was deadly seriously.”

Amara says, with a nod, “Especially DEADLY.”

Tai says, “That means that we don’t have a choice.”

Davis says, “I don’t have a choice. But I can’t wait to give one right in her kisser.”

Kari tells Davis, “Be careful, Dai-kun.”

Davis says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, Kari-chan. She’ll see why I’m the ‘Star Dragon King’.”

Kazuto asks Ami, “Ami, can you find out where Sugu is?”

Ami responds, curiously, “Yes, but why?”

Kazuto tells Ami, “You won’t find her tracking her communicator.” Kazuto then takes out Suguha’s Sailor Scout communicator, much to the surprise of the others, and he says, “She has been leaving it behind lately.”

Amara says, “And it is obvious why.”

Darien says, looking at Kazuto, “Based on what I’ve seen, Suguha and Yuuko have a ‘connection’ and despite Jack-dono’s rudeness, he may have a point.”

Tai says, nodding his head and with a sigh, “Darien’s right. She is hiding something from us.”

Mimi asks, curiously, “But why?”

Amara says, with a plain tone, “That’s only something that Suguha can answer.”

Ami is using her computer and she then asks, confused, “Huh?”

Lita asks, “What is it, Ami-chan?”

Ami says, her eyes wide, “Since Suguha has not kept her communicator, I had to use her bio-signature and her energies to track her. Thankfully, with our advanced computers and easy access to satellites, it was easy, especially since she is in currently Sailor Scout form, but it says that she is in Okinawa at the moment.”

There are a lot of stunned looks and Serena asks, surprised, “Okinawa? What is she doing there?!”

Kazuto asks Ami, “Are you certain?”

Ami says, “I triple checked to make sure. She is on Okinawa.”

Davis asks, confused, “What the heck is she doing there?!”

Tai says, “That’s a question that only Suguha can answer.”

Matt says, “Right now, we need to focus on someone else.” The others nod their heads in agreement and Asuna looks at Kazuto, who looks deep in thought, in which Asuna knows why.

May 12, 2026, Okinawa

On the island of Okinawa, we find ourselves somewhere near the capital of the island, Naha, Suguha, Agumon (Suguha), and Lunamon are walking up the steps to a Japanese Shinto temple complex.

Agumon (Suguha) asks, “Boss, aren’t we here to look for the ‘weasel’?”

Suguha says, with a nod, “Yep.”

Lunamon asks, “So, why are we coming here?”

Suguha says, “Just a feeling.” As they approach the entrance, they see statues of the Legendary Knights, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, in their ‘dragon forms’, all over the outside area of the temple. The two Digimon and one human enter the complex where they look around until an elderly man with long grey hair, curly bangs that goes past his chin, and a large interconnected grey beard and mustache with him having a classic Shinto priest’s clothing on.

The elderly man says, “Hello, young one.”

Suguha stares at the elderly man for about a minute and she then says, “Sorry to be rude, but I think that you can knock off the disguise, Ironheart-dono.”

The elderly man just smiles and he says, “I see there is no fooling you.” The elderly man glows and he is revealed to be Ironheart, the father of Dartz and previous ruler of Atlantis before Dartz took the throne, in which he says, “However, I doubt that you are here for pleasantries.”

Agumon (Suguha) says, shocked, “Whoa! It’s you!”

Ironheart’s granddaughter, Chris, last princess of Atlantis and wearing her attire as such, walks out and she says, kindly, “It is nice to see you, again.”

Ironheart tells Suguha, “I know that you have discovered your ‘true heritage’, your majesty.”

Suguha says, annoyed, “Could you not call me that? It is kind of annoying.”

Ironheart says, with a smile, “Understandable why you feel that way. Your sister feels the same way, in a way, but you can’t deny who you are and what you are.”

Suguha says, “The knights knew all along.”

Ironheart says, with a nod, “Yes, they did. They could sense your power and feel your Lunarian blood in you, my dear.”

Suguha says, with a serious tone, “Speaking of the knights, what the fuck is their big idea getting Rika and Keiko involved in all this?! It just says: ‘I hold the power to stop you, come and get me!’ And another of my friends got used as bait to lure Keiko out!”

Ironheart tells Suguha, “The knights believed that they have the qualities needed to use their powers and abilities to the fullest to correctly.”

Chris says, “Also, they believed that you don’t need them anymore.” Suguha gives a look of surprise and Chris says, with a smile, “Back then, they knew that you had the ability to wield their powers and you needed their strength to succeed. Now, you are a much stronger person and duelist with powerful forces that rival them under your command.”

Suguha asks, “They know about Odd-Eyes, Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing, and Starve Venom?”

Ironheart says, with a nod, “Yes. The mighty dragons under your command among other ‘mighty powers’, but you must be wary of those four dragons. They aren’t evil, but they are a ‘primal power’ in which their strength can be used for great good or incredible destruction.”

Suguha says, “Yeah, I’ll remember that.”

Just then Suguha’s eyes widen and Ironheart says, with his eyes narrowing, “You sense it, too. We have unwelcomed company.” At that moment, the whole temple becomes surrounded in a murky violet ‘haze’ causing Chris to go to her grandfather’s side.

Suguha yells out, confused, “What the?!” She takes out her broach, but then wires seem to come out of nowhere to yank her broach out of her hands as well as take her digivice as well in which she yells out, “Hey!”

Just then a female voice says, slyly, “None of that now.” Just then wooden ‘vines’ come out of the ground and wrap around Agumon (Suguha) and Lunamon, entrapped them, and shutting Agumon’s (Suguha) mouth.

Suguha shouts out, stunned, “Agumon! Lunamon!”

The female voice booms out, “I don’t want them disturbing our little ‘chat’.” Suguha turns to the source of the voice to see none other than Haruka emerge in which she has wooden puppets with one of them holding Suguha’s broach and digivice.

Suguha is a bit weirded out due to Haruka’s ‘attire’ and she asks, “What the heck are you supposed to be?”

Ironheart says, “Be careful, your majesty. This is one of your land’s modern-day shadow warriors. I believe that you call them ‘shinobi’.”

Suguha asks, surprised, “Say what?”

Haruka says, “I’m not surprised that you know, old man. But then again, being around for over ten thousand years and you tend to know a few things.”

Ironheart says, “You are well-informed.”

Haruka says, “I am shinobi. Information and knowledge is our way.” Haruka tells Suguha, “And speaking of knowledge, I have what you are looking for. Information on Yuuko Kamishimo and her new Neo Paradius organization.”

Suguha asks, shocked, “What?”

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “I see that I have your attention.”

Suguha asks, “How can I trust you? Shinobi are also known for ‘misinformation’ as well, right?”

Haruka says, with a nod, “Well done.”

Suguha says, with a plain tone, “That’s common fact, you know.”

Haruka says, with a nod, “True. True. But I think that this will convince you.” Haruka then throws Suguha a picture and when Suguha looks at it, her eyes widen in which Haruka asks, “Get the point?”

Suguha says, putting the picture into her sub-space pocket, “You made your point.”

Haruka says, taking out a pink Real Solid Vision duel disk, “And this is how you are going to get it.”

Suguha asks, “If that’s all, then why go through all this?”

Haruka tells Suguha, “Isn’t it obvious? I’m also here to test you. And right now, you don’t have a choice. You are trapped within my Kekkai, a pocket dimension, in which only I can release it. Right now, you don’t have any choice especially since you can’t transform or power-up your Digimon partners.” Suguha snarls as she takes her Real Solid Vision duel disk out of her sub-space pocket, attaches it to her left wrist, and inserts a dueling deck into it in which Haruka smirks as she attaches her Real Solid Vision duel disk to her left wrist as well as insert a dueling deck into it. They activate their duel disks, their decks are shuffled, and the two of them draw five cards from their decks as their duel disks display 4000 life-points for each duelist on their touch screens.

“Game on!” Suguha and Haruka say in unison as their duel starts.

Starting Scores:

Suguha: 4000

Haruka: 4000

Haruka says, drawing a card, “I’ll take the first turn.” Haruka says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I’ll start off with this: Hydrogeddon! I put him in attack mode!” Hydrogeddon (1600/1000) then appears on the field in attack mode and Haruka says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “Isn’t he darling? I’ll end with two cards face-down.”

Suguha says, drawing a card, “Adorable! My turn!” Suguha says, putting one card on her duel disk, “First, I start with this: Twilight Rose Knight!” Just then Twilight Rose Knight (1000/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Suguha says, putting another card on her duel disk, “Twilight Rose Knight then allows me to summon one Plant monster that’s level four or below from my hand! I think that Predaplant Moray Nepenthes will do!” Soon after, Predaplant Moray Nepenthes (1600/1000), a twin-headed Venus fly trap-like monster, appears on the field in attack mode.

Haruka says, curiously, “That’s new…”

Suguha says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “You’ll find that I’m full of surprises! Next, I play my Spell Economics continuous spell card! As long as this spell card remains on the field, I don’t pay life-points to use my spell cards!” Suguha says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “That’s useful with my Ultra Polymerization spell card! Normally, I need to pay two grand in life-points, but due to my Spell Economics, it is not the case anymore! Now, I fuse Twilight Rose with Predaplant Moray Nepenthes!” Two said monsters go into a fusion vortex while Suguha gets a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck and she says, putting said card on her duel disk, “Meet Starve Venom Fusion Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Starve Venom Fusion Dragon (2800/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Suguha says, “Next, I play the next effect of my Ultra Polymerization! I remove it from play to return the Fusion Material monsters used to play my Starve Venom Fusion Dragon, but their attack and defense points are zero and their abilities are negated!” Twilight Rose Knight (1000/1000-0/0) and Predaplant Moray Nepenthes (1600/1000-0/0) return to the field in attack mode in which Suguha says, “However, Twilight is still a Tuner monster, so, I tune it with Predaplant Moray Nepenthes!” Twilight Rose Knight turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Predaplant Moray Nepenthes, turning it transparent, and while Suguha gets a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field and then Suguha chants out, “Lofty rose that buds in the garden of integrity! Bloom here, watered by blue moonlight! Synchro Summon!” Suguha puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk and she says, “Reveal yourself, Black Rose Moonlight Dragon!” Out of the column of light, Black Rose Moonlight Dragon (2400/1800) appears on the field in attack mode.

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Not bad. You used two monsters to bring out a Synchro and a Fusion monster and quite a duo. The Synchro Monster can force me to return one high level special summoned monster and your Fusion Monster can gain the powers of any high level effect monster as well as when it is destroyed, I lose all special summoned monsters. You seem to have ‘under the barrel’ or so it seems.”

Suguha thinks in her mind, “She seems really confident. She must have a nasty trap with those two face-down cards, but it could be anything. There are traps that could be a pain in the neck even if you don’t attack. I need to figure out what her strategy is.”

Haruka asks, with a sly mocking tone, “Is something wrong?”

Suguha says, with a serious tone, “Not at all! I’m just going to find a way to pound you into dust!”

Haruka says, slyly, “I don’t see that happening if you do nothing, my dear.”

Suguha yells out, annoyed, “Oh, yeah! Try this! Black Rose, attack her monster! Go, Rose Requiem!” Black Rose unleashes a powerful beam of energy mixed with violet and pink petals that heads for Hydrogeddon.

Haruka says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “Big mistake, my dear. I activate my trap: Zeus’ Breath!” Haruka’s face-down card is revealed to be the Zeus’ Breath trap card and Haruka says, “Your attack is negated and since I have a water monster on my field, you also suffer eight hundred points of damage!” A massive tsunami and wind storm stops Black Rose’s attack and Suguha yelp as she sent flying by the tsunami as her life-drops by 800.

Chris says, worriedly, “Suguha!”

Suguha shakes herself and she says, stumbling to her feet, “I felt that!”

Haruka says, with a wicked grin, “This isn’t a game, my dear. We, shinobi, engage in battles of life and death. To put up this point, I’ve ‘disengaged’ any safety systems in the Real Solid Vision technology.”

Suguha yells out, “You’re nuts!”

Haruka says, slyly, “Maybe I am. But my ‘sisters’ and I have been plucked from hell, so, we don’t fear death. It makes me wonder how you’ll do when there is more than your life-points on the line.”

Suguha says, “You are going to find out! Starve Venom, attack!”

Starve Venom fires a dark beam of energy at Hydrogeddon, which slams into it like a train, and Haruka says, pushing another button on her disk’s touch screen, “I play my Defense Draw!” Haruka’s face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and Haruka says, “This card negates all damage to me and I get an extra card!” Hydrogeddon is destroyed, but Haruka is protected by a shield while she draws a new card.

Suguha says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I end my turn with a couple of face-downs.”

Current Scores:

Suguha: 3200

Haruka: 4000

Haruka says, drawing a card, “My turn! Draw!” Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate my Pot of Greed! I draw two cards!” Haruka draws two cards, puts one more card into the main slot of her disk, and she says, “Then I play Dark Hole! All monsters on the field are now destroyed!” Starve Venom and Black Rose roar out as they are sucked into a black hole.

Suguha says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

Haruka says, with a sly smirk, “Too bad. And now, my special summoned monsters are safe.” Suguha glares at Haruka and she says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “Now, I play my Elemental Puppetry spell card! I remove a monster from my graveyard from play and then discard one Gimmick Puppet monster from my hand! Then I’m allowed to summon monsters from my deck that have levels equal to the level of the Gimmick Puppet monster that I discarded and are of the same attribute of the monster that I removed from play, but they can’t attack on the turn that I summon them and their abilities are negated! First, I remove Hydrogeddon from my grave!” Said card then comes out of graveyard slot of Haruka’s disk, she puts the card in-between her *ahem* ‘assets’, displays one Gimmick Puppet Twilight Joker (800/1600) monster card, and she says, discarding said card, “And next, I send Gimmick Puppet Twilight Joker to the graveyard!” Two cards come out of Haruka’s deck and she says, putting said two cards on her disk, “And now, I play two new Hydrogeddons in attack mode!” Just then two new Hydrogeddons (1600/1000 X 2) appear on the field in attack mode. Haruka says, putting another card on her duel disk, “But that’s not all! I play Oxygeddon!” Just then Oxygeddon (1800/800) appears on the field in attack mode and Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Then I activate my Bonding H-Two-O spell card! By releasing two Hydrogeddon and one Oxygeddon, I can summon my mighty Water Dragon!” Three said monsters on the field then ‘merge’ into a twister in which Haruka puts a card from her deck on her duel disk with Water Dragon (2800/2600) appears on the field in attack mode. Haruka tells Suguha, with a sly smirk, “As they say on the beach: Surf’s up! Attack!” Water Dragon unleashes a powerful stream of water from its mouth straight at Suguha.

Suguha says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “Activate trap: Negate Attack!” Suguha’s face-down card is revealed to be the Negate Attack counter-trap card and Suguha says, “Your attack is negated and you can’t attack anymore this turn!” A vortex shield protects Suguha from Water Dragon’s attack.

Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I end my turn with one card.”

Suguha says, drawing a card, “My move!” Suguha looks at the card and she says, “I remove Black Rose, Starve Venom, and Twilight Rose from my graveyard from play!” As three said cards are removed from the graveyard slot of Suguha’s disk, she says, putting the card that she draw on her disk, “Now, I summon Levionia the Primordial Chaos Dragon in attack mode!” The image of the three named monsters appear on the field, turn into one ‘light’ beam and two ‘dark’ beams, going into the sky as a storm cloud forms, and out of that cloud, Levionia the Primordial Chaos Dragon (3000/0), a massive white and dark green-blue dragon, appears on the field in attack mode. Haruka gives a look of shock and Suguha says, “And now, since both Light and Dark monsters were removed to summon him, I can destroy two cards on your field! And I choose your face-down and Water Dragon!” Levionia creates a sphere of light and dark energy that rains lightning bolts that destroys Water Dragon and Haruka’s face-down.

Haruka says, with a smirk, “Water Dragon’s ability activates! Since it has been destroyed, I can summon two Hydrogeddons and one Oxygeddon from my grave!” Soon after, two Hydrogeddons (1600/1000 X 2) and one Oxygeddon (1800/800) appear on Haruka’s field in defense mode.

Suguha says, “Since I used Levionia’s ability this turn, I can’t attack with him! I end my turn!”

Haruka says, drawing a card, “Then it is my move!” Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I’ll start out with Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw until we have half-a-dozen cards in our hands!” Suguha and Haruka draw from their decks until they have six cards in their respective hands in which Haruka says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “Then I play my Elf Wing spell card! By releasing monsters on my field, I can summon one beast, winged-beast, or fairy type monster to replace them, but each one have to be the same level or less as the one that I release to play it! I release all three of my cute dinosaurs!” Both Hydrogeddon and Oxygeddon vanish from the field as three cards come out of Haruka’s deck and she says, putting the cards on her duel disks, “Now, meet my lovely dolls! Fluffal Bear, Fluffal Cat, and Fluffal Mouse!” Soon after, Fluffal Bear (1200/800), Fluffal Cat (700/300), and Fluffal Mouse (100/100) appear on the field in attack mode and Haruka says, with a sly smile, “There is also an additional benefit for you. You get one card for each monster that I play with this effect.” Suguha draws three cards from her deck and Haruka says, “And now, my adorable little mouse uses his ability! Like any mouse, he can multiply by summoning all other Fluffal Mice from my deck!” Two cards come out of Haruka’s deck, she puts them on her duel disk, and two more Fluffal Mouse (100/100 X 2) monsters appears on the field in attack mode. Haruka says, “Then I use my cute bear’s ability! By releasing him, I can add one Polymerization card from my deck to my hand!” Fluffal Bear vanishes from the field and Haruka takes another card from her deck and adds it to her hand.

Suguha thinks in her mind, seriously, “Oh, boy. Here it comes!”

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “I know what you are thinking and you are right. The worst is yet to come!” Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Now, I play Polymerization!” Haruka discards Edge Imp Sabers (1200/800) monster card to the graveyard and she says, “And now, I fuse Edge Imp Sabers in my hand with Fluffal Cat on my field!” Edge Imp Sabers appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Fluffal Cat, Haruka gets a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, puts it on her duel disk, and she says, “Meet my adorable doll: Frightfur Tiger!” Out of the fusion vortex, Frightfur Tiger (1900/1200), a sinister looking and huge blue-green tiger doll that looks ‘patched-up’ with a pair of sinister eyes coming out of its mouth and a pair of scissors coming out of its waist, appears on the field in attack mode.

Suguha asks, shocked, “Adorable doll? You mean nightmare toy, don’t you?!”

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Don’t say that! It is a picture of beauty…through you won’t think so since its ability destroys cards on your field equal to the number of Fusion Material monsters used to summon him!” Suguha gasps as Frightfur Tiger cuts down Suguha’s dragon and her face-down card causing her to gasp in shock.

Suguha says, shocked, “No!”

Haruka says, “Oh, Frightfur Tiger gains three hundred attack points for every Fluffal and Frightfur on my field!” Frightfur Tiger then goes from 1900/1200 to 3100/1200 and Haruka shouts out, excitedly, “Time for my Tiger to cut to the chase, sweetie!”

As Frightfur Tiger charges right at Suguha, she says, displaying a Sphere Kuriboh (300/200), “I activate my Sphere Kuriboh’s ability! By discarding him from my hand, your monster is forced into defense position when it attacks!” Sphere Kuriboh then appears on the field and bashes Frightfur Tiger right on the nose and it stumbles back as it ‘falls’ into defensive position.

Haruka says, “That was mean! Well, my mice are going to take a nibble out of your life-point!” Suguha yelps as she is swarmed by the three Fluffal Mice and each Mouse takes 100 points for her life-points. Haruka says, putting one card on the top of her deck, “Since that’s done, I activate the effect of my Edge Imp Sabers! By putting one card on top of my deck, I can return him to the field in defense mode!” Edge Imp Sabers (1200/800) returns to the field in defense mode and Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Next, I activate my Fusion Substitute spell card! Basically, I can Fusion Summon with this card and now, I fuse my Sabers with all three of my mice to bring out another wonderful doll!” All four said monsters go into a fusion vortex, Haruka takes out a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, and she says, putting it on her duel disk, “I Fusion Summon Frightfur Wolf!” Out of the fusion vortex, Frightfur Wolf (2000/1500), a giant ‘stitched-up’ blue wolf doll monster with sinister eyes coming out of its mouth, appears on the field in attack mode in which Haruka says, with a sly smile, “It might have taken a bite out of my Tiger’s attack points, but it can attack depending on the number of material monsters used to summon him.”

Suguha thinks in her mind, with a snarl, “That means that it can attack four times in a row per turn! Just great!” On the meanwhile, Frightfur Tiger goes down from 3100/1200 to 2500/1200 due to the less Fluffal/Frightfur monsters on Haruka’s field.

Haruka says, putting two cards into the main slot, “I end my turn with two cards face-down. Good luck, sweetie.”

Current Score:

Suguha: 2900

Haruka: 4000

Suguha says, drawing a card, “I won’t need it! I draw!” Suguha says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate my Burial From a Different Dimension! Three monster cards removed from play are returned to the graveyard!”

Three cards are put into the graveyard slot of Suguha’s duel disk and Haruka says, “So, you returned those cards to your graveyard? They won’t be much use to you.”

Suguha says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “Not if I play my Pot of Avarice! I return five monster cards to my deck and then I draw two cards!” Just then Black Rose Moonlight Dragon (2400/1800) Synchro Monster card, Starve Venom Fusion Dragon (2800/2000)  Fusion Monster card, Twilight Rose Knight (1000/1000), Predaplant Moray Nepenthes (1600/1000), and Sphere Kuriboh (300/200) Monster cards, come out of the graveyard slot of Suguha’s duel disk and they are returned to her deck/Extra Deck, Suguha’s deck is reshuffled, and she draws two cards.

Haruka thinks in her mind, slyly, “That means that those monsters are danger to me once more. Not bad.”

Suguha says, displaying Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon (1200/2400) and Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon (1200/600) Pendulum Monster cards, “I take scale one, Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon, and scale eight, Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Suguha puts the cards on the Pendulum Zones of her duel disk causing the Monster Card Zones of her duel disk to light up with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors in which the said monsters appear in two columns of light, one monster per column, on either side of Suguha with the number 1 below Persona Dragon and number 8 below Mirage Dragon. Suguha says, as an image of her crystal pendulum swinging between the two columns appears, “With this, I can summon monsters that are levels two through seven this turn!”

Haruka thinks in her mind, slyly, “Here it comes!”

Suguha yells out, “Swing, Pendulum! Draw the arc of light to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Suguha puts five cards on her duel disk and she yells out, “Let’s rock! Debris Dragon, Defrag Dragon, Red-Eyes Wyvern, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!” A circle of light appears on the field, five ‘lights’ come from it, and those ‘lights’ are Debris Dragon (1000/2000), Defrag Dragon (1000/600), two Red-Eyes Wyverns (1800/1600 X 2), and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) appear on the field in attack mode. Suguha says, “And now, I Overlay both of my Wyverns to build the Overlay Network!” Both Red-Eyes Wyverns then become lights that goes into a vortex that appears on the ground, Suguha takes an XYZ Monster card from her Extra Deck, and she says, “Formed from pitch-black darkness to fight those foolish enough to oppose its treacherous fangs! I XYZ Summon Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000), with two Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Suguha says, “And then I tune my Debris Dragon with my Defrag Dragon!” Debris Dragon turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Defrag Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Suguha gets a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field as she says, “Spread those wonderous and beautiful wings, strike our enemies down at lightspeed! Synchro Summon!” Suguha puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk and she yells out, “Meet Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!” Soon after, out of the column of light, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (2500/2000), a brighter version of Clear Wing Fast Dragon, appears on the field in attack mode. Suguha says, “And I play my Dark Rebellion’s ability! By removing two Overlay Units, one of your monsters has their attack points cut in half and Dark Rebellion gets boosted by that amount! Treason Discharge!” Dark Rebellion absorbs its two Overlay Units and it sends sparks of dark lightning that envelop Frightfur Tiger causing it to go from 2500/1200 down to 1250/1200 with Dark Rebellion going up 2500/2000 to 3750/2000 in which Suguha shouts out, “Odd-Eyes, attack her overgrown furball!”

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attacks Frightfur Tiger, but Haruka says, pushing a button on her duel disk’s touch screen, “Sorry, sweetie, but I play my trap: Stepping on your own foot!” Haruka’s face-down card is revealed to be a counter-trap card with a picture of someone’s foot stepping on a trap card in which Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Now, I can use one trap card from your graveyard and I choose your Negate Attack trap card!” Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon’s attack is negated by a swirling force-field.

Suguha says, putting three cards into the main slot of her disk, “I activate my Mirage of Nightmare and then I place two cards face-down where I end my turn!”

Haruka says, drawing a card, “It’s my move now!”

Suguha says, drawing four cards, “And my draw, thanks to my Mirage of Nightmare!”

Haruka says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “And I use my trap: Equal Compensation!” Haruka’s other face-down card is a counter-trap with a picture of two Pot of Greed spell cards facing each other and Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Since you drew cards outside of your Draw Phase, I get to draw as many cards!”

Haruka draws four new cards from her deck and Suguha says, pushing a pair of buttons on her duel disk, “Well, I reveal my face-down cards: Thunder of Ruler and Emergency Provisions!” Suguha’s face-down card are revealed to be the Thunder of Ruler trap card and Emergency Provisions Quick-Play spell card in which Suguha says, “Thanks to Emergency Provisions spell card, I can regain one grand in life-points for every spell and trap on my field that I get rid of! I choose Thunder of Ruler and Mirage of Nightmare!” Both Mirage of Nightmare and Thunder of Ruler vanish in which Suguha’s life-points increase by 2000 points in which Suguha says, with a smirk, “But my Thunder of Ruler’s effect still activates in which you have no battle phase this turn!”

Haruka says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Very clever. But this doesn’t mean that I can’t put you in a corner this turn. First, I start off with my lovely Fluffal Owl!” Fluffal Owl (1000/1000) then appears on the field in attack mode and Haruka says, drawing a card from her deck, “When he comes to the field, I can add one Polymerization from my deck to my hand!” Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “And I use that Polymerization!” Haruka discards her Edge Imp Saw (500/1000) monster card to the graveyard and she says, “I fuse my Edge Imp Saw with my adorable Owl!” Edge Imp Saw appears on the field and goes into a fusion vortex with Fluffal Owl while Haruka gets a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck. Haruka says, putting the Fusion Monster card on her duel disk, “Meet cute kitty cat: Frightfur Leo!” Out of the fusion vortex, Frightfur Leo (2400/2000), a fiendish grey lion doll with multiple saw-blades coming out of it, appears on the field in attack mode.

Suguha yells out, nervously, “Kitty cat? You mean yokai lion!”

Haruka says, with a mock pout, “That’s rude! Now, my kitty is going to punish you! I activate Leo’s effect! One of your monsters is destroyed and you take damage equal to its original attack points! I choose Dark Rebellion!”

As Frightfur Leo unleashes its saw blades at Dark Rebellion, Suguha says, “As if! Clear Wing’s effect activates! When a level five or above monster activates their ability, Clear Wing negates that ability and destroys that monster! Dichroic Mirror!”

Clear Wing unleashes light waves from its wings towards Frightfur Leo, Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Nope! I activate my Effect Bind spell! When your monster activates its ability, this card negates its abilities for this turn!” Clear Wing roars out as chains binds it and Suguha snarls as the saw blades cut into Dark Rebellion causing it to roar out as it is destroyed causing Suguha to get knocked down to the ground as she loses 2500 life-points. Suguha’s two Digimon struggle against their bonds as Suguha struggles to her feet in which Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Next, I activate my Frightfur Factory continuous spell! As long as this card remains on the field, I can remove one Polymerization or Fusion card from my graveyard in order to Fusion Summon a Frightfur Fusion monster! So, I remove said spell card to fuse Leo, Tiger, and Wolf!” The three said monsters on Haruka’s field then goes into a fusion vortex, she gets out a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, and she yells out, putting said Fusion Monster card on her duel disk, “It is time for you to meet the ever-so-adorable Frightfur Chimera!” Out of the fusion vortex, Frightfur Chimera (2800/2000), a huge Frankenstein doll monster with three heads, appears on the field in attack mode.

Suguha asks, really nervously, “That’s adorable?”

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Yes, he is.”

Suguha says, nervously, “You have got…I don’t want to think about it.”

Haruka says, “Well, now, I activate the effect of my Fusion Substitute in my graveyard. I can remove this card from play and return one Fusion Monster from my graveyard to my Extra Deck in which I then draw a card from my deck.” Haruka removes said card from her graveyard, she returns her Frightfur Leo (2400/2000) Fusion Monster card to her Extra Deck, and Haruka draws one card from her deck. Haruka says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.” Clear Wing then breaks out of the chains entrapping it due to the effect of Haruka’s spell card waring off.

Current Scores:

Suguha: 2400

Haruka: 4000

Suguha says, drawing a card, “My move!” Suguha says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate my Spiral Flame Strike spell card! Since I have an Odd-Eyes monster on my field, one card on your field is destroyed!” Odd-Eyes fires a spiral flaming beam of energy at Frightfur Chimera and it roars as it is destroyed.

Haruka says, with a pout, “No!”

Suguha says, “Okay, Odd-Eyes, direct attack!” Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon then unleashes its flames directly at Haruka.

Haruka says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so, sweetie! I activate my trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Haruka’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Haruka says, “This card has two effects and I choose the effect that I don’t take any battle damage this turn!” A barrier surrounds Haruka that protects her from Odd-Eyes’ attack.

Suguha says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I place two cards face-down and end my turn!”

Haruka says, drawing a card, “My move, cutie!” Haruka says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I start off with Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and discard two!” Haruka draws three cards, discards two cards, and Haruka says, “And now, I activate my Cards of Compensation! When it is sent from the hand to the graveyard, I get two cards!” Haruka draws two cards from her deck and Haruka says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Then I summon Edge Imp Frightfuloid in attack mode!” Just then Edge Imp Frightfuloid (1300/1300), a freaky stitched up doll monster, appears on the field in attack mode and Haruka says, “And now, my cute little Frightfuloid activates his ability! He can target one Frightfur in the graveyard and its power becomes Frightfuloid’s power this turn! And since Frightfuloid is a level four and my cutie isn’t targeting monsters on the field, your Clear Wing can’t use its ability against it!”

Suguha thinks in her mind, with a snarl, “Damn! She seems to know my monsters inside and out!”

Haruka says, “And the monster that my Frightfuloid is embodying is obviously my Chimera!” An image of Frightfur Chimera appears and Frightfuloid goes from 1300/1300 to 2800/2000 and Haruka says, “Then I activate the effect of my Frightfur Factory continuous spell! I remove my other Polymerization to fuse two of my monsters together!” Haruka discards the last two cards in her hand causing Edge Imp Chain (1200/1800) and Fluffal Sheep (400/800) to appear on the field before going into a fusion vortex in which Haruka says, getting out a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, “I fuse my Imp Champ and my cute little Sheep to play my most darling Frightfur of them all: Frightfur Daredevil!” Haruka puts the Fusion Monster card on her duel disk and out of the vortex, Frightfur Daredevil (3000/2200), a fiendish doll, appears on the field in attack mode.

Suguha says, nervously, “Oh, yipe.”

Haruka says, with a grin, “And you should be scared sweetie! Daredevil take out her nasty lizard, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!”

As the named monster leaps into attack, Suguha says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my trap: Wall of Disruption!” Suguha’s face-down card is revealed to be the Wall of Disruption trap card and Suguha says, “Now, your monsters lose eight hundred attack points for every monster on your field at this time!”

Haruka says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so, cutie pie! I activate my counter-trap: Trap Jammer!” Haruka’s remaining face-down card is revealed to be the Trap Jammer counter-trap card and Haruka says, with a sly smile, “And that means that your trap card is negated!” Suguha gasps in shock as the ‘image’ of her Wall of Disruption trap card is shattered and Clear Wing roars out in pain as it is impaled before shattering in a strong explosion causing Suguha to grunt as she loses 300 life-points in which Haruka says, slyly, “And the worst is yet to come since my cutie destroyed your monster in battle, you lose one thousand more life-points!” Suguha yelps out in pain as she is struck by Daredevil as she loses 1000 more life-points and Haruka says, “And now, my Frightfuloid attacks your other lizard!” Frightfuloid rams into Odd-Eyes’ chest causing it to roar out before it shatters into pieces in which Suguha yelps as she is sent tumbling backwards as she loses 300 more life-points. Haruka says, with a sly smile, “It seems that you are in quite a bind now, but you are happy to know that my turn is over.” With that, Frightfuloid then goes back from 2800/2000 to its original 1300/1300 as its effect is over.

Current Scores:

Suguha: 800

Haruka: 4000

Suguha struggles to her feet and she says, drawing a card, “My turn!”

Haruka thinks in her mind, slyly, “I know what you are planning to do. You want to take out my sweet Daredevil, but bad news for you, if it is destroyed in any way, you can kiss your life-points goodbye since my cutie pie inflicts five hundred for each Frightfur in my graveyard and that’s too many life-points than you can afford, cutie!”

Suguha says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate Monster Reborn! And I use it to revive Dark Rebellion!” Haruka gives a look of surprise as Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) reappears on the field in attack mode and Suguha says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “And next, I activate my face-down card: The Phantom Knights’ Rank-Up-Magic Launch!” Suguha’s other face-down card is revealed to be a Quick-Play spell known as The Phantom Knights’ Rank-Up-Magic Launch and she says, “Since I have an XYZ monster without any Overlay Units, I can use it and this card to bring out a monster one rank higher!”

Haruka says, nervously, “Uh oh.”

Suguha says, “I rebuilt the Overlay Network with Dark Rebellion! Go, Rank-Up XYZ Evolution!” Dark Rebellion then goes into a vortex into the sky and Suguha yells out, “From the depth of purgatory, sing the song of rebellion dedicated to restless souls! Let it echo for eternity and appear! Quake, Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon!” Soon after, Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon (3000/2500), with two Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Suguha says, “I activate Dark Requiem’s effect! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can reduce your monster’s power to zero and add that power to Dark Requiem! Go, Requiem Salvation!” Dark Requiem absorbs ones of its Overlay Units and binds Frightfuloid in which it goes down from 1300/1300 to 0/1300 while Dark Requiem goes up from 3000/2500 to 4300/2500 in which Suguha says, with a serious tone, “Dark Requiem, end this duel! Attack her mixed up doll!” Dark Requiem’s wings become like rainbow colored sting glass and Suguha shouts out, “End this with Requiescent Disaster Disobey!” Dark Requiem then dive bombs Frightfuloid, who is destroyed in a massive explosion that sends Haruka flying through the skies in which she yells out as she loses 4300 life-points as well as the duel in one move.

Final Scores:

Suguha: 800

Haruka: 0

As Haruka is sent flying high through the sky, Suguha’s broach and digivice are flung from Haruka right towards Suguha and she catches them.

Suguha says, excitedly, “Got them!” Just then whole area is bathed in such light that Suguha is forced to cover her eyes and when the light fades, allowing Suguha to see again, she finds the barrier that Haruka made gone and her two Digimon partners freed.

Agumon (Suguha) says, excitedly, “Boss!”

Suguha looks at her two partners and she asks, “Agumon! Lunamon! Are you two all right?”

Lunamon says, with a nod, “Yes, we are…” Lunamon then says, looking to Suguha’s right, “Look out!” Suguha looks at the direction that Lunamon is looking at and she finds Haruka, her clothing slightly damaged and slight bruising on her, but otherwise uninjured, looking at her with a sly smirk on her face causing Suguha to yelp as she stumbles back, but before she could attempt to transform, Haruka grabs her by the wrists and puts her face right in front of Suguha’s face just inches apart.

Haruka tells Suguha, with a sly grin, “You’re good, cutie pie. My boyfriend would really love you.”

Suguha asks, “Boyfriend?”

Haruka says, with a grin, “Yep. And I just love you. Cute face and just like most shinobi girls of our era, a wonderful chest.” Suguha blushes in embarrassment from that and her blush becomes even deeper when Haruka slips in a quick kiss on Suguha’s lips before releasing Suguha’s wrists in which Haruka says, leaping away, “See you, cutie!” Haruka then teleports away and after a second, Suguha shakes her head and starts to spit a lot.

Suguha shouts out, flabbergasted and wildly flushing, “What the fuck is wrong with that girl?! Are all shinobi this insane?!”

May 12, 2026, Somewhere within Tokyo

Somewhere inside of Tokyo, we are inside of a campus known as Hanzo Academy where we are inside of a secret room within the academy itself where we find a young lady sneezing as she is lying down.

This young lady looks to be around 17-18 years of age with long, soft blonde hair worn with a blue headband that has a ribbon on each side of the head. Her bright eyes match, and she is usually depicted with perverted expressions. Her turnover outfit is simplistic, in which it is composed of a female white school uniform, unbuttoned, revealing most of her torso underneath; particularly her…*ahem* ‘assets’ which are VERY well-endowed. Along with a blue plaid skirt, she wears long socks and her signature black and gold metal boots adorned with small blue tassels on either side.

The young lady says, curiously, “I sneezed? I guess that someone is talking about me. I hope that it is someone with big ass boobs that I can…take a squeeze of.” The young lady gives a perverted smile and gives a perverted giggle as she heads off within this hidden area of the academy grounds.

May 12, 2026, Tokyo, Odaiba District

Within the Odiaba District, our heroes and heroines, minus Suguha and her Digimon partners, obviously, are assembled at Odaiba Park where they find Yuuko waiting for them.

Yuuko says, “You came as I thought. You are too predictable.”

Sailor Uranus says, “You noticed that we’re in Sailor Scout form.”

Yuuko says, “And yet, you know better than to attack me. As I said before, I’m laced with sensors and devices that will let my people know exactly what’s happening with me and Yugi-dono’s friends and Joey-dono’s sister will have their lives forfeit.”

Sailor Uranus sneers at Yuuko and Tuxedo Mask tells Sailor Uranus, “Easy, Uranus.”

Davis steps forward, showing that he has what looks like a Real Solid Vision duel disk attached to his left wrist, and he says, showing that his disk has a deck inserted into it, “All right, let’s do this!”

Yuuko says, “You are eager, ‘Star Dragon King’, but it is time that you get thrown off your throne.” Yuuko snaps her fingers and a large group of projection devices appear all over in which they create a projection field that makes all of them and projectors vanish, but in fact, they are hidden in a holographic field that makes everything and everyone outside of the ‘field’ seem to have vanished.

Sailor Jupiter asks, confused, “What the?”

After a brief scan, Sailor Mercury, with her scanner and computer active, says, “We’re inside of a holographic projection. It is keeping all of us hidden.”

Yuuko says, “And it will make sure that there are no surprises since it also keeps any ‘auras’ suppressed, so, don’t count on Suguha detecting you.”

Rika shouts out, annoyed, “What is your deal?”

Yuuko says, snapping her fingers, “I’ve already told you enough. Now, it is time for your friend to experience the duel of his life.” Just then Tristan Taylor, with a Real Solid Vision version of the Chaos Duel Disk, walks up to all of them.

There are gasps and Sailor Venus asks, “Hey, isn’t that Yugi Moto’s friend?”

Yuuko says, “It may be Tristan Taylor’s body, but it isn’t Tristan Taylor inside right now.”

TK asks, curiously, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

‘Tristan’ then says, in a high male voice, “It means that Yugi Moto’s and Joey Wheeler’s monkey of a friend isn’t in control of his body right now. The name is Nezbitt, the former chief technical officer of Kaiba Corp.” Soon after, Nezbitt, within Tristan Taylor’s body, explains about himself and his ‘associates’, the Big Five, as well as their ‘places’ in the history of Yugi Moto and Seto Kaiba.

When Nezbitt is done, Yuuko says, “However, despite Noah Kaiba’s efforts, the Big Five had one final ‘ace-in-the-hole’. When Noah tried to seal them in different parts of his ‘virtual universe’, they used a ‘last-ditch’ plan to escape to a hidden sever which managed to keep going for decades, but the problem was that they were trapped within that server with no way out…until recently.”

Davis says, with a sneer, “So, you did the same thing that ass did to Tristan-san back in their time, huh? Real original.”

Yuuko says, “Tristan Taylor, Tea Gardner, and Serenity Wheeler mean nothing compared to Joey-dono, Yugi-dono, and the Kaiba brothers.” Yuuko says, looking at Nezbitt with a deadly glare, “And who are to remain untouched to ensure this present remains.” Nezbitt gives a nervous expression using Tristan’s face.

Nezbitt clears his throat and he says, “Despite how much of a pain that we won’t get revenge against the Kaiba brothers, once we defeat you, brats, we will get to keep our new bodies and get revenge on Kaiba’s and his brother’s descendants on this time. And since they are here, I can’t wait to see their faces as we destroy their legacy in this time before we kick them back into the past.” Nezbitt gives an evil smile using Tristan’s face and lips.

Davis says, holding his duel disk, “Not if I have anything to say about it!”

Nezbitt says, “Brat, I’ve been dueling before you were born! And you don’t stand a chance since we are playing by the Big Five’s rules…with the Deck Master system!”

Tai asks, curiously, “Deck Master?”

Yuuko says, plainly, “It is a form a dueling that the Big Five invented for use in their battle against Yugi Moto, Seto Kaiba, and their friends and allies.” Yuuko then explain about the Deck Master system used by Noah Kaiba and the Big Five in their battle against Yugi Moto, Seto Kaiba, and their friends/allies.

When she is done, Davis says, with a smirk, “It sounds like that Yugi-dono, Kaiba-dono, Joey-dono, and their friends and family made morons out of you by turning your own dueling system against you and beating you with it! And I intend to do the same!”

Nezbitt says, with a snarl, “We’ll see about that brat!” Davis and Nezbitt activate their duel disks, their decks are shuffled, their disks’ screens display 4000 life-points for each duelist, and Nezbitt says, “Now, we have to choose one monster to serve as our Deck Master for the duel! And I already choose my clockwork Robotic Knight!” Soon after, Robotic Knight (1600/1800) appears by Nezbitt’s side and he then says, “Now, choose your Deck Master, punk!”

Davis says, with a glare, “I don’t need to! I already know who I’m going to choose! Elemental Hero Wildheart!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600) appears by Davis’ side and Davis says, with a grin, “Since Wildheart isn’t affected by any traps, I can guess what his ability is!”

Yuuko says, plainly, “Yes. Wildheart’s Deck Master ability is to ensure that all trap cards don’t affect Elemental Hero monsters while they are out on the field.” Nezbitt looks at Yuuko in surprise and Yuuko says, with a dark dangerous glare, “It won’t matter if he knows his Deck Master’s ability and it is quite obvious which shows what kind of deck he will be using. Which should also be obvious to you since you have been studying him for your duel to ensure your ‘new life’.”

Nezbitt says, nervously, “R-Right.” Davis and Nezbitt draw five cards from their respective decks and they glare at each other as they prepare to duel.

“Game on!” Davis and Nezbitt say in unison as their duel begins.

Starting Scores:

Davis: 4000

Nezbitt: 4000

Davis says, drawing a card, “I’ll go first! My turn! I draw!” Davis says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I’ll start out with Elemental Hero Lady Heat in defense mode!” Just then Elemental Hero Lady Heat (1300/1000) appears on the field in defense mode and Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “First, I play Mirage of Nightmare!” Davis then says, putting four more cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end with four cards face-down on the field and Lady Heat’s ability now activates! For every hero out on my field, including herself, you get busted by two hundred points!” Lady Heat then launches a fireball that slams into Nezbitt/Tristan and he grunts as he smokes a bit as he loses 200 life-points.

Nezbitt says, drawing a card, “My turn, brat! I draw!”

Davis says, drawing four cards from his deck, “And mine too! I activate the effect of Mirage of Nightmare! During your Standby Phase, I get to draw from my deck until I have four cards in my hand, but I have to discard the same number cards that I draw during my Standby Phase!” Davis says, pushing two buttons on his disk’s touch screen, “However, that’s not all! I activate my face-down cards: Jar of Greed and Emergency Provisions!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Jar of Greed trap card and Emergency Provisions Quick-Play spell card in which Davis says, with a smirk, “Thanks to Emergency Provisions, I get one thousand life-point per spell and trap on my field I get rid of! So, I get rid of Jar of Greed and Mirage!” Mirage of Nightmare and Jar of Greed then vanish from the field and Davis’ life-points increase by 2000 points in which Davis says, with a smirk, “However, since I activated Jar of Greed before I got rid of it with Emergency Provisions, its effect activates anyway and I get an extra card! Also, since I got rid of Mirage now, its effect won’t activate later, so, I keep my hand!”

Davis draws one card from his deck and Nezbitt says, “You are going to need those life-points and cards, brat!” Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Especially when I have this card!”

The others gain nervous looks and Sailor Jupiter says, “I don’t like the sound of that.”

Nezbitt says, displaying the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card, “You shouldn’t since I play my Seal of Orichalcos Field spell!” Our heroes and heroines gasp as Nezbitt puts the card into the Field Spell slot of his duel disk and he roars out as the dark power of the spell card flows through him while creating a powerful ‘dark storm’ in which Yuuko teleports some distance away with our heroes and heroines struggling to stand their ground, but the ‘dark storm’ sends them flying backwards while the Seal of Orichalcos surrounds Davis and Nezbitt.

Davis shouts out, looking at the others, “Kari-chan! Veemon! Everyone!”

Sailor Sun says, getting back to her feet, “We’re okay, Dai-kun.”

Nezbitt says, with a dark tone, “You won’t be ‘okay’ for long, brat.” Davis turns towards Nezbitt to see the insignia of the Orichalcos appear on his/Tristan’s forehead while his/Tristan’s eyes gain a red tint in them.

Davis tells Nezbitt, “Dude, you are insane to play that card!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark sneer, “I’m not like those losers that she sent before! I’ll show you how to really use this card!” Nezbitt says, putting one card on his duel disk, “And I got to love the future because it has such wonderful and perfect machines of destruction including this one! Cyber Dragon in attack mode!” Just then Cyber Dragon (2100/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Since you have a monster on the field and I don’t, I can play this number from my hand with no questions asked! It also gains a boost of powers thanks to the Orichalcos!” Cyber Dragon roars out as the Orichalcos’ power becomes infused in it causing the insignia of the Orichalcos appear on its forehead and its eyes to gain a red tint while it goes from 2100/1600 to 2600/1600 and Nezbitt says, discarding Cyber Phoenix (1200/1600), Cyber Kirin (300/600), and Cyber Pharos (0/2100) monster cards, “And now, I activate my Robotic Knight’s Deck Master ability! Final Artillery! For every machine monster that I discard from my hand, you take five hundred points of damage!” The three discarded monsters appear on the field, fire laser beams, and Davis yelps as he is slammed by the laser beams three times causing to get flung to the ground as he loses 1500 life-points.

Ken and Veemon say in unison, shocked, “Davis!”

Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” Sailor Sun tries to step forward, but she is stopped by the other Sailor Scouts.

Sailor Orion says, plainly, “There is nothing that you can do, Kari.”

Sailor Sun lowers her head and Nezbitt says, evilly, “Now, to get rid of that wench! Attack!” Cyber Dragon fires a beam of energy from its mouth that vaporize Lady Heat, but since she was in defense mode, Davis doesn’t lose any life-points from that attack.

Davis says, pushing a button on his duel disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Hero Signal!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Hero Signal trap card and Davis says, as a card comes out of his deck, “Since you destroyed a monster on my field, I can use this card to play one Elemental Hero from my deck as long as he or she is level four or below! And I choose Elemental Hero Avian!” Davis puts the card from his deck on his duel disk and Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) appears on the field in defense mode.

Nezbitt says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “His wings will soon get plucked. I end my turn with a face-down.”

Current Scores:

Davis: 4500

Nezbitt: 4000

Davis says, drawing a card, “My move! I draw!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I think that I’ll start out with this card! Polymerization!” Davis discards Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) and Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) monster cards to the graveyard and he says, “And I combine Avian on my field with Sparkman and Bubbleman in my hand! To create…!!!” Heroes Sparkman and Bubbleman appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex with Avian, and Davis says, putting a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck on his disk, “…the mighty Elemental Hero Tempest!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Tempest (2800/2800) appears on the field in attack mode.

Veemon says, excitedly, “Go get him, Davis!”

Davis shouts out, “Tempest! Turn his dragon into scrap metal! Attack!”

Tempest unleashes a powerful blast from his right arm cannon, but Nezbitt says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not so fast, brat! I activate my Attack Reflector Unit trap card!” Nezbitt’s face-down card is revealed to be the Attack Reflector Unit trap card and Nezbitt says, taking a card that comes out of his deck, “Now, I can upgrade my Cyber Dragon with a Cyber Barrier Dragon in attack mode!” Nezbitt puts the card from his deck on his duel disk and Cyber Dragon turns into Cyber Barrier Dragon (800/2800-1300/2800) in attack mode and becomes infused with the power of the Orichalcos in which Nezbitt says, with a dark sly tone, “And thanks to my perfect defense machine, he can block one of your attacks every turn while he is in the attack mode!” Cyber Barrier Dragon creates a barrier that protects itself from Tempest’s attack. Nezbitt says, with a sinister smile, “You see? This is the power of machines! Efficient and powerful! Unlike people, who are mere flesh and blood and make mistakes, machines will get the job done.”

Davis says, seriously, “While I won’t get my ‘cyber chickens’ ready to roost just yet, you body snatching jerk!” Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “I summon Wroughtweiler in defense mode!” Just then Wroughtweiler (800/1200) appears on the field in defense mode and Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “And then I end my turn with a few face-downs.”

Nezbitt says, drawing a card, “I said ‘efficient and powerful machines’, not glorified tin puppy dogs! Let me show true machine power! I draw!”  Nezbitt then puts the card into the main slot of his disk and he says, “I play Pot of Greed! This card allows me two new cards!” Nezbitt draws two cards, looks at them with an evil smile, and he says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “First, I place one card face-down and then I activate my Card of Demise! This allows me to draw until I have five cards in my hand and then in five turns, I lose my entire hand, but this duel won’t last long enough for that to happen!”

As Nezbitt draws five cards, Davis says, with a glare, “Don’t count it, jerk!”

Nezbitt says, with an evil smirk, “Oh, I’m counting on it!” Nezbitt says, putting one card onto his disk, “And this is why! I play Cyber Dragon Core in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Dragon Core (400/1500-900/1500), a wyrm-like machine dragon monster with a glowing red ‘core’, appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos. A card comes out of his Nezbitt’s deck and he says, with a sly smile, “When Core is summoned to the field, I get one spell or trap card from my deck!” Nezbitt says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Then I activate my face-down card: Machine Duplication!” Nezbitt’s face-down card is revealed to be Machine Duplication spell card and Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “This card allows me to choose a machine monster on my field that has five hundred or less attack points and bring up to two of the same machine onto the field!” Two cards come out of Nezbitt’s deck, he puts them on his disk, and two more Cyber Dragon Core (400/1500-900/1500 X 2) appears on the field in attack mode and become infused with the power of the Orichalcos. Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “This is why I love machines. Repetition…it is perfection to me.” Nezbitt says, putting one more card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my Power Bond! By sending machine monsters on my field or my hand to the graveyard, I can Fusion Summon a Machine type Fusion Monster, so, I fuse all three of my Cores together!” All three Cyber Dragon Cores spark and glows as they unite in a bright flash while Nezbitt says, putting a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, “Meet the machine of your destruction: Cyber End Dragon!” Out of the light, Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800-8500/2800) appears on the field in attack mode and becomes infused with the power of the Orichalcos. Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “My dragon not only gets an infusion of power from the Orichalcos, but its original attack points are doubled!”

Yolei says, shocked, “Holy crap!”

TK says, nervously, “That’s not good! Davis is in real trouble if it attacks!”

Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “If? Wrong, kid! I’m going to attack and this machine is the most appropriate since it is his end! Cyber END Dragon, attack with his Tempest and seal his soul! Super Strident Blaze!”

As Cyber End Dragon prepares to attack, Davis shouts out, “Tempest’s ability activates! By destroying one spell or trap card on the field, I can negate his destruction!” A face-down card on Davis’ field is destroyed as then destroyed as Cyber End Dragon fires its attack.

Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Too bad for you that you will still lose since you will take the damage! That’s why machines are superior to humans, brat!”

Davis shouts out, strongly while pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong, activate trap!” A few moments afterwards, Tempest is struck by the attack and Davis is engulfed in an explosion of light!

Sailor Sun screams out, fearfully, “Dai-kun!” Everyone then yelps as they get thrown to the ground by the sheer force of the explosion from Cyber End Dragon’s attack hitting Tempest and when the attack’s power has faded, there is a lot of smoke and dust covering Davis’ side of the field.

Nezbitt laughs evilly and he yells out, with a dark excited tone, “This duel is over! I win!”

Davis’ voice then booms, “Wrong, loser!” Nezbitt gasps in shock and he looks to see the smoke clear to reveal Davis, his form smoking with a few burns along with him heavily breathing, but he is still there with 2800 life-points remaining as well as Tempest and Wroughtweiler still on his field.

Nezbitt asks, confused, “But how?” Nezbitt then spots a face-up Nutrient Z trap card and he says, realizing, “You activated that trap card!”

Davis says, with a smirk, “Yep. It is Nutrient Z, moron, and since your attack could take more than two thousand of my life-points, my trap gave four thousand life-points before it hit, making sure that I had more than enough to survive your attack!” Davis then displays two cards in his hand and he says, with a grin, “By the way, smart guy, the face-down card that I got rid of with Tempest’s effect was Greed from Beyond trap card and when it is sent from the field to the graveyard by a card effect, I get two cards from my deck!”

Tai says, excitedly, “Way to go, Davis!”

Veemon says, with a grin, “I knew Davis got him!”

Sailor Uranus says, with a smirk, “Plus, due to Nezbitt’s spell card, he is finished. During the End Phase of the turn that Power Bond is activated, the user of the card suffers damage to his life-points equal the original attack points of the Fusion Monster summoned by that card!”

Sailor Venus says, excitedly, “He just defeated himself! He’s going to take four thousand life-points of damage and that’s all he has!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark sneer, “Don’t count on it! This duel is far from over! But first, I get rid of your worthless mutt!” Cyber Barrier Dragon attacks Wroughtweiler and it howls as it is destroyed, but since it was in defense mode, Davis doesn’t lose any life-points.

Davis says, taking two cards out of his disk’s graveyard slot, “My pooch doesn’t roll over so easily! When Wroughtweiler is sent to the graveyard, I can get back one Elemental Hero and one Polymerization!”

Nezbitt says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “You are going to need them, brat! I activate my Gift of the Martyr spell card! I send one monster to my grave and I gain life-points equal to its attack points!” Cyber End Dragon roars out as it vanishes and Nezbitt gains 8000 life-points in which he says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Cyber Repair Plant! Since a Cyber Dragon is in my graveyard, I can activate this card! When I have three Cyber Dragons in my graveyard, I can use both effects…if I want, but I plan to use only one effect! Now, I can add a Light machine monster to my hand!” A card comes out of Nezbitt’s deck and he says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Now, I place one card face-down and end my turn.” Just then Nezbitt’s form sparks as he loses 4000 life-points.

Current Scores:

Davis: 2800

Nezbitt: 8000

Davis says, drawing a card, “My move!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate Polymerization!” Davis discards Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) and Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) monster cards in which he says, “Now, I fuse Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Bladedge!” The two monsters then appear on the field, goes into a fusion vortex, and Davis says, putting a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck on his disk, “Time to put the squeeze on you with Elemental Hero Plasma Vice!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Plasma Vice (2600/2300) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, discarding one card into the graveyard slot of his disk, “Then I activate his ability! I discard one card and send one of your attack monsters packing!” Plasma Vice creates a shockwave of electrical energy that shocks Barrier Dragon and destroys it in which Davis says, drawing two cards, “By the way, the card that I discarded was my Cards of Compensation! When it is sent from my hand to the grave, I get two more cards from my deck!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark sneer, “You are going to need them, kid!”

Davis says, “And you are going to need to go to a hospital when I’m done with you! Plasma Vice! It is time to put the squeeze on him!”

Plasma Vice leaps into the sky towards Nezbitt, but he says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my trap: Born from Draconis!” Nezbitt’s face-down card is revealed to be the Born from Draconis trap card and Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Now, I remove all Light machine monsters from my field and graveyard!” Soon after, eight cards are removed from Nezbitt’s graveyard slot and he puts them in his pocket, putting them ‘out of play’, and he says, putting the last card in his hand on his duel disk, “Now, I can summon any level six or above Light machine monster from my hand and I choose my Cyber Eltanin in attack mode!” Just then Cyber Eltanin (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Nezbitt says, with a dark sly smile, “Then my trap card makes its attack and defense power equal to five hundred times the number that I banished to play this guy!” Cyber Eltanin goes from 0/0 to 4000/4000 and Nezbitt says, with a sinister smile, “Oh, it also can’t be effected by card effects expect its own effects in which Eltanin’s ability is the same as this trap, but it already has its power, however, the Orichalcos gives Eltanin a nice boost!” Cyber Eltanin then gets infused with the power of Orichalcos causing it to go from 4000/4000 to 4500/4000 in which Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Oh, when my war machine is summoned, all other monsters have got to go!”

Davis asks, stunned, “What?!” Cyber Eltanin fires multiple beams of energy at Plasma Vice and Tempest in which both are destroyed in strong explosion causing Davis to say, shocked, “No, Tempest! Plasma Vice!”

Yolei says, nervously, “Oh, man! That’s not good!”

Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Come on, Dai-kun…”

Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “Now, do you see the power of machine, brat? They are reliable and ineffable.”

Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “You want to bet? I play one monster face-down.” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And I throw down a face-down to end my turn.”

Nezbitt says, drawing a card, “Is that all? Pathetic!” Nezbitt says, putting one card into the main slot, “I place one card face-down. And then my Eltanin attacks your monster!” Eltanin fires multiple laser beams at Davis’ face-down monster, which is revealed to be Hero Kid (300/600) in defense mode, and Hero Kid yells out as he is vaporized by the assault, but since Hero Kid was in defense mode, Davis doesn’t lose any life-points in which Nezbitt says, with an evil smirk, “Your brat just got a spanking! I end my turn!”

Davis says, drawing a card, “My move!” Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my face-down card: Call of the Haunted!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and Davis says, “Thanks to this card, I can revive one monster in attack mode and I choose my Hero Kid!” Hero Kid (300/600) then returns to the field in attack mode and two cards come out of Davis’ deck in which he says, putting them on his disk, “And that means I can call on every other Hero Kid in my deck!” Two more Hero Kids (300/600 X 2) then appear on the field in attack mode.

Nezbitt asks, with a dark confident smirk, “And what are a bunch of brats going to do against my superior machines?!”

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “You are going to find out! Next, I activate my Legacy of a Hero spell card! By returning two Fusion Monster in my graveyard that use Elemental Heroes as Fusion Material to my Extra Deck, I can draw three cards! So, I return Plasma Vice and Tempest back to my deck!” Two familiar Fusion Monster cards come out of the graveyard slot from Davis’ disk, he puts them back into his Extra Deck, and Davis draws three cards in which Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “I play Nitro Synchron in attack mode!” Just then Nitro Synchron (300/100) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis yells out, “And now, I tune Nitro Synchron with all three Hero Kids!” Nitro turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround all three Hero Kids, turning them transparent, and then a column of light appearing on the field as Davis get a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck. Davis says, “Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path the light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Soon after, Davis’, Sailor Sun’s, and Sailor Moon’s Mark of the Dragons appear on their right arms in which Sailor Orion feels a slight throb on her right arm and she rubs it.

Sailor Star notices this and she asks, “Are you okay, Sinonon?”

Sailor Orion replies, with a nod, “I’m okay, Asuna.” Sailor Mars, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Pluto take notice of this and make a mental note of this.

Nezbitt says, with a dark sneer, “Your pathetic lizard is no match for my ruthless machines!”

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Don’t bet on it! I play my trap: Synchro Strike!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Synchro Strike trap card and Davis says, “Until the end of this turn, Stardust gains five hundred attack points for every monster used for its Synchro Summon!” Stardust Dragon roars out as it goes from 2500/2000 to 4500/2000!

Nezbitt says, with a dark snarl, “Your monster is only equal to mine.”

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot, “However, I’ve got the Silver Wing equip card! As long as Stardust has this, twice per turn, he can’t be destroyed in battle!” Nezbitt snarls and Davis yells out, “Stardust Dragon, kick his tin can to the curve! Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon fires its attack and Cyber Eltanin fires back, but Stardust’s glowing silver wings create a shield to protect it while Cyber Eltanin is destroyed in a strong explosion causing Nezbitt to snarl, darkly, in which Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Too bad and so sad! Not! I end my turn with a couple of face-downs!” Stardust Dragon then goes back down from 4500/2000 to 2500/2000 due to the effect of Davis’ Synchro Strike have ended.

Nezbitt says, drawing a card, “My move, brat! I draw!” Nezbitt says, discarding the card that he draw, “Due to my Card of Demise, it has been five turn since I played Card of Demise, which means that I discard my hand! Bad news for you is turnabout is fair play since that card was one that you used before! Cards of Compensation! When it is sent from my hand to the grave, I get two more cards from my deck!” Nezbitt draws two cards from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and he says, “Next, I summon another Cyber Dragon in attack mode!” Cyber Dragon (2100/1600-2600/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos in which Nezbitt says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Card of Sanctity! This card forces both of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Both Davis and Nezbitt draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Nezbitt says, discarding four cards in his hand, “And then I activate my Deck Master’s ability again! Final Artillery! For every machine monster that I discard from my hand, you lose five hundred life-points!” Proto-Cyber Dragon (1100/600), Cyber Dragon Zwei (1500/1000), Cyber Larva (400/600), and Armored Cybern (0/2000) appears in which they fire laser beams into Davis causing him to get to the force-field causing him to yelp in pain as he gets shocked while he loses 2000 life-points.

Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” Davis’ form smokes, but he remains on his feet with a defiant glare in his eyes.

Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “You are just about dead, kid! And it is time for the final blow!” Nezbitt puts one card into the main slot of his disk and he yells out, “I activate my Overlord Fusion spell card! Now, I can summon one Dark machine monster as long as I remove the materials from my field and graveyard! I choose my Cyber Dragon on my field and all of my remaining machine monsters in my graveyard which are about six!” Just then six cards come out of the graveyard slot of Nezbitt’s duel disk in which Proto-Cyber, Cyber Dragon Zwei, Cyber Larva, Armored Cybern, Cyber Phoenix, and Cyber Eltanin appear on the field as Nezbitt gets a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck. Nezbitt yells out, darkly as he puts the Fusion Monster card on his disk, “Now, meet the last monster that you’ll ever see! Rise, Chimeratech Overdragon!” All of the machine monsters vanish in a bright light and Chimeratech Overdragon (5600/5600-6100/5600) appears on the field in attack mode and get infused with the power of the Orichalcos in which Nezbitt says, with a sinister smile, “When Chimeratech is summoned, his power is equal to eight hundred times the number of monsters used to summon him! Plus, he get a boost from the Orichalcos as well!”

Tai says, nervously, “That’s not good!”

Nezbitt yells out, “Now, your monster can’t be destroyed, but it doesn’t mean that you are in the same boat! Chimeratech, end this now!” Chimeratech fires beam of energy from all of its heads, which are seven in total.

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap! Spirit Barrier!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Spirit Barrier continuous trap card and Davis says, “Thanks to this card, I can’t suffer battle damage as long as I have a monster on the field!” Stardust’s silver wings protect it while a shield protects Davis from the energy reflected off Stardust.

Sailor Venus says, excitedly, “Way to go!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark snarl, “You might have protected yourself, but your lizard isn’t so lucky! My Chimeratech can keep attack as long as you have a monster on the field and it can attack equal the number of monsters used to summon it!”

There are gasps and Sailor Orion says, plainly, “That means that it can attack up to seven times.”

Sailor Uranus says, “But Stardust’s Silver Wings can only be used one more time this turn.”

Nezbitt shouts out, “That’s right! Attack!” Chimeratech attacks a second time, but Stardust’s wings protect it, however, the glow fades away in which Nezbitt says, with an evil smile, “And now, it is time to end your worthless lizard with the power of this war machine! Attack!”

Chimeratech attacks a third time, but Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I play my trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Davis’ other face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Davis says, “This card has two effects and I use its one where Stardust Dragon can’t be destroyed by battle this turn!” A shield protects Stardust Dragon from Chimeratech’s attack and Stardust roars in defiance against Nezbitt.

Nezbitt says, with a dark snarl while putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Your luck won’t hold out forever, kid! You are down to eight hundred life-points and my Deck Master is just waiting to finish you off! I end my turn!”

Current Scores:

Davis: 800

Nezbitt: 8000

Davis says, drawing a card, “We’ll see about that! My move!” When Davis looks at his hand, he thinks in his mind, a bit nervously, “Okay, I really don’t see anything that will get me out of this, but I can’t give up! There is just too much at stake for me to lose…that’s not including my own soul. But I refuse to lose! I know there is a way to get out of this! I just have to find it! Believe in myself and my deck!” Just then there is a bright flash from Davis’ Extra Deck and everyone is surprised by it.

Yolei yells out, “Hey, what’s going on?”

Sailor Mars thinks in her mind, “I sense a great power…!!!” Everyone is then forced to cover their eyes from the bright light that’s coming from Davis’ Extra Deck.

May 12, 2026, Somewhere within Tokyo

In an unknown location within Tokyo, we find someone’s right arm glowing with Jack Atlas’ former Mark of the Dragon, the Wings of the Crimson Dragon or simply, the Dragon’s Wings, and we hear a familiar male voice, “Whoa! It looks like someone has gained a new power, believe it!”

May 12, 2026, Tokyo, Odaiba District

Davis looks around to find himself on top of what looks like a Mayan temple or a temple found in South America/Americas mixed in with what looks like Ancient Egyptian temples, Japanese Shinto shrines, and various other buildings from Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Middle East, and Feudal Japan as well as futuristic building giving the vast city a mixture of ancient mixed with futuristic ‘feel’ to it.

Davis asks, confused, “Whoa! Where the heck am I?”

Just then a deep booming voice calls out, “The power is unleashing and the door is waiting to be opened!” Davis turns to the source of the voice and he gasps to see a massive set of black doors in front of him in which the black doors have a sinister face engraved on them.

Davis thinks in his mind, nervously, “Okay, creepy.”

Just then the deep booming voice calls out, “The time is nigh! The power to take you to your throne is brought forth, but if you accept this power, you must accept the reasonability that comes with thy power! Forever in the twilight, forever the balance, order and chaos shall rage through you, the cosmos shall strengthen you, the light and the dark shall be your sword and shield, and the dragon’s heart ignited. Now, do you have the courage to open the door?”

Davis thinks in his mind, “You know, I don’t have a freaking idea what that weirdo voice is talking about. And experience and my family has told me not to listen to weird voices, but then again, I’m quite in a bind, so…” Davis says, seriously, “You want your courage? You got it right here!” Davis puts his hand on the door and he, along with the door, glows a bright light, and the door then swings open in which Davis closes his eyes as he is engulfed by bright light as various images bombard his mind with the most dominate image being dragons of all shapes and sizes. Davis gasps as he is able to see himself back in the duel with Nezbitt in which he looks around to see everyone with their eyes open and confused looks on their faces.

Nezbitt asks, confused, “What the heck was that?” Nezbitt looks at Yuuko and he is surprised to see that her eyes are widening as well as looking at Davis.

Davis thinks in his mind, as he looks at his duel disk, “What the fuck was that?!” Just then an image of a Duel Monster appears in his mind and he then realizes what he has to do even through he doesn’t completely understand it himself. Davis puts one card into the main slot of his disk and he yells out, “I activate my Psychic Cyclone spell card! Now, I guess what one of your face-down cards is either a spell or trap card and if I guess right, it is destroyed and I get a new card! But it doesn’t take a genius to realize that you have a trap card face-down!” A twister appears on the field, sweeps up Nezbitt’s face-down card, and it is revealed to be a Draining Shield trap card before it is destroyed.

Nezbitt says, with a dark snarl, “Lucky guess, brat!”

Davis says, drawing a card, “Lucky?! Don’t count on it!” Davis says, putting another card into the main slot, “I activate my Silent Doom spell card! I can revive one non-effect monster from my graveyard in defense mode and I choose Sparkman!” Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) returns to the field in defense mode and Davis says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play Elemental Hero Heat in attack mode!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Heat (1600/1200-2000/1200), a flaming red warrior, appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, with a grin, “And he gains two hundred attack points for every hero on the field including himself!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark sneer, “Doesn’t matter, brat! My superior machine is more than a match for your monster!”

Davis shouts out, “You won’t be so touch when I Overlay both Sparkman and Heat to build the Overlay Network!” Sparkman and Heat then turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground and after Davis puts both monster cards on the same Monster Card Zone, the Extra Deck slot of his disk opens up in which a beam of light hits that same Monster Card Zone turning into a new XYZ Monster card in which Davis yells out, “Meet Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia!” Out of the vortex, a white and golden cocoon with two Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field and that ‘cocoon’ transforms into Number 39: Utopia (2500/2000), a golden and white warrior with two swords, onto the field in attack mode.

TK says, amazed, “That’s new.”

Matt asks, curiously, “Has anyone heard of an XYZ Monster like that before?”

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “That’s not an ordinary XYZ monster.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, sarcastically, “You think?!”

Nezbitt says, with a dark annoyed expression, “Boo hoo! So what? Your overgrown swordsman is no match for my perfect machine!”

Davis responds, with a sly smirk, “Not after this it won’t be! I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia and his Overlay Units! Go, Shining XYZ Evolution!” Everyone gives a shocked look as Utopia returns to his ‘cocoon form’ and goes into another vortex as another XYZ Monster card appears over his card on Davis’ duel disk in which Davis yells out, “Time to kick butt, Shining Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Prime!” Out of the vortex, Number S39: Utopia Prime (2510/2000), a shining golden and white warrior with eight shining golden and white triangle wings as well as a huge golden sword, appears on the field in attack mode with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it.

Gatomon says, “That’s even newer.”

Sailor Mercury says, amazed, “I never heard of such an XYZ Summoning before and XYZ Summoning is just a few years old!”

Nezbitt yells out, with a dark annoyed tone, “He isn’t that much stronger than your last monster!”

Davis yells out, with a wide grin, “But thanks to his ability, since your life-points are three thousand or more points higher than mine, I can remove all three Overlay Units and lower my life-points to just ten points in which all of your Special Summoned monsters get the boot in which they are destroyed and removed from play in which you take three hundred points of damage for each one!”

Nezbitt yells out, flabbergasted, “No, you can’t!”

Davis shouts out, “I just did!” Utopia Prime absorbs all three of its Overlay Units with Davis’ life-point dropping to just 10 points and Davis shouts out, “Go, Shining Eraser!” Utopia Prime swings its sword and Chimeratech Overdragon roars out as it shatters into particles in which Nezbitt grunts out as he loses 300 life-points.

The others cheer and Sailor Sun yells out, excitedly, “Dai-kun did it!”

Tai says, with a grin, “No doubt about that.”

Nezbitt yells out, with a dark angered tone, “Your monsters still don’t have the power to finish me!”

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I need to bring out another buddy! I play Monster Reborn and revive Utopia!” Soon after, Number 39: Utopia (2500/2000) reappears on the field in attack mode causing Nezbitt to flinch in which Davis says, with a sly smile, “Scared yet? You will be when I do this! I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia again! Now, go, Chaos XYZ Evolution!” Utopia transforms into its ‘cocoon form’ and goes into a vortex in the ground as a beam of energy comes from Extra Deck of Davis’ disk in which forms another XYZ Monster card over Utopia’s card in which Davis shouts out, “Come on out, Chaos Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Ray!” Out of the vortex, a black and golden version of Utopia in its ‘cocoon form’ appears with one Light Overlay Unit orbiting it and the ‘cocoon’ turns into Number C39: Utopia Ray (2500/2000), a black and golden humanoid warrior, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis shouts out, “I activate Utopia Ray’s ability and remove all of its Overlay Units in which it gains five hundred attack points for each Overlay Unit. Usually, one monster on your field loses one grand in attack points, but since you don’t have one, it doesn’t matter!” Nezbitt gives a look of horror as Utopia Ray absorbs its Overlay Unit in which it goes from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000!

Nezbitt yells out, “No, this can’t be!”

Davis yells out, strongly, “Oh, this be, you ass! Stardust, Cosmic Flare! Utopia Prime, Shining Sun Slash! Utopia Ray, Rising Sun Chaos Slash!” All three monsters attack Nezbitt and he screams out as he gets slammed by the attacks causing him to get flying into the force-field behind him in which he collapses onto the ground in a heap as he loses 8010 life-points, ending the duel.

Final Score:

Davis: 10

Nezbitt: 0

With the end of the duel, the Solid Vision ‘projections’ vanish as the seal recedes to surround Tristan Taylor’s form and Nezbitt screams out as the seal starts to ‘absorb’ him while the others go over to Davis, who has falling to one knee.

Nezbitt shouts out, “NO! NO! THIS WASN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! YUUKO-SAMA, PLEASE SPARE ME…!!!” However, Yuuko just give as Tristan’s form goes limp as Nezbitt is sealed into the Orichalcos.

Sailor Sun asks, concerned, “Are you okay, Dai-kun?”

Davis says, with a sly smirk, “Just a bit winded, Kari-chan.” Davis gets back to his feet and everyone looks to see Yuuko come up to Tristan’s motionless form in which she removes the duel disk from his left wrist as well as pick up the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card with the face of a middle-aged male with brown hair in the center of the seal with a look of horror on his face.

Yuuko says, plainly, “You have served your purpose.”

Sailor Jupiter yells out, “Hey!” Yuuko looks to see the others in front of her and Tristan’s motionless form in plenty of them had deadly glares on their faces.

Sailor Uranus says, taking a step forward, “It is time for you to pay for what you done.”

Yuuko says, throwing sinister and familiar green stones, “No, it is not. The only ones that will pay are your princess and her sister.” When the stones land on the ground, several Orichalcos Soldiers emerge from the ground.

Tai asks, confused, “What the?!”

Sailor Pluto says, seriously, “They are Orichalcos soldiers, creatures of the Orichalcos itself! Be careful or they will steal your souls!” Just then the Orichalcos Soldiers are hit in the forehead by mystical arrows and they roar out as they shatter in which they see Sailor Orion was the one that fired the shots.

Sailor Orion says, plainly, “They don’t seem so tough.”

Yuuko retorts, plainly, “You think so?” Just then an Orichalcos Soldier appears near Hiyori and she gasps to see it reach out towards her.

The others see this, as well as know that they can’t reach her in time, in which Keiko screams out, fearfully, “Hiyori, watch out!” Hiyori yelps out in fear as the Orichalcos Soldiers reaches out to take her soul, but then a bright light erupts from Hiyori, much to everyone’s shock, causing the Orichalcos Soldier to stumble backwards away from Hiyori.

(Yu-Gi-Oh ‘Timaeus Awakens/The Eye of Timaeus theme’ music starts)

Out of the light, none other than Timaeus, in his dragon forms, appears with a mighty roar that shakes the whole of the area.

Sailor Pluto says, surprised, “Timaeus!” Yuuko gives a snarl as Timaeus unleashes a powerful wind that causes the Orichalcos Soldier to stumble backwards even more before it is vaporized from an attack by Timaeus.

(Yu-Gi-Oh ‘Timaeus Awakens/The Eye of Timaeus theme’ music ends)

Yuuko thinks in her mind, “Timaeus has finally chosen his ‘chosen duelist’, huh? Then it is time that I leave.” Yuuko says, plainly while glaring darkly at Sailor Moon, “You will learn the pain of losing a precious member of your family as your family has done to mine, Sailor Moon.” Soon after, Yuuko teleports away with Tristan Taylor’s motionless form.

Sailor Moon yells out, “Wait!” However, it is too late and Yuuko is gone with Tristan Taylor’s body while Timaeus glows as he turns into his Eye of Timaeus Legendary Dragon spell card which floats into Hiyori’s hands.

Hiyori asks, confused, “Huh?”

Sailor Uranus says, “It seems to me that’s three.”

Sailor Neptune says, “It seems like Hiyori-san is Timaeus’ ‘chosen duelist’.”

There are looks of surprise and Hiyori asks, confused, “Me?” On the meanwhile, Davis can’t help to wonder what happened in his duel with Nezbitt in which he looks his three new XYZ Monster cards: Number 39: Utopia (2500/2000), Number S39: Utopia Prime (2510/2000), and Number C39: Utopia Ray (2500/2000).

May 12, 2026, Hiroshima

Within the city of Hiroshima, we find Sammy Tsukino and Molly Baker AKA Sailor Nebula are at the edge of an alley as they see Sammy’s Dragon Heart Mark of the Dragon fade away.

Sammy says, “That’s it. Davis won.”

Molly asks, curiously, “Are you sure?”

Sammy says, with a nod, “Yep. Davis isn’t exactly a guy that goes down easily.”

Molly says, nodding her head, “I have to agree.”

Sammy says, “I wonder what Meatball Head hasn’t gotten herself into this time.”

Molly tells Sammy, “Sammy, it isn’t like your sister to look for trouble.”

Sammy says, “No, Meatball Head never finds trouble…trouble always comes looking for her. Like a typical anime hero, Serena never goes out to find trouble…trouble always comes to kick her in her pigtails.”

Molly says, nervously, “I hate to admit it, but you have a point.”

Sammy says, “Anyway, we have work to do here. Not to mention the enemy that might be connected with what’s left from the nuclear bombing of this city back at the end of World War Two, but there might be remnants of UNI-SHOCKER lurking about even after we defeated them with my counterpart returning to his world to continue the fight there.”

Molly says, “It isn’t too surprising. They have been here for a while, so, there could be members that willing became part of UNI-SHOCKER, but came from our Earth.”

Sammy says, “We have to make sure that they don’t allow UNI-SHOCKER to ever come back.”

Molly says, “Sammy…”

Sammy tells Molly, “Yeah, I know. Meatball Head is worried about me and all that, but I’m not a little kid anymore and now, I have powers of my own.”

Molly says, “Powers that Serena have a right to be concerned about, Sammy.”

Sammy says, “Trust me. I’ll be able to handle it.”

Molly tells Sammy, “Plenty of us know that, but your sister worries a lot lately. It has been over a year since the end of that nightmare and she just got another ‘reminder’ of it just around a week ago.”

Sammy says, with a sigh, “I get it. And from what you heard, this case is another ‘reminder’.”

Molly says, with a nod, “From what it looks like, the family member of someone that died in SAO is looking for revenge, but it seems to be more than revenge since they are using an ancient evil power. We need to be careful. They may come after you to target Serena.”

Sammy says, “Well, they’ll see that I’m not some kind of tool to be used by anyone anymore.”

Molly nods her head and she thinks in her mind, “Don’t worry, Serena. I’ll make sure that your brother is safe and I’ll help him become a great hero. Maybe not as good as you, but I think that he will make a good guardian just like us, Sailor Scouts.” As Molly and Sammy head along, they don’t notice that they were being observed not by one, but TWO different groups. One from the alleyways and another group in the shadows of the rooftops.

At an unknown location, the person that has Jack Atlas’ former Mark of the Dragon, the Dragon’s Wings, looks at it fade away and we look to see that it is a young male of 16-17 years of age with spiky blond hair, blue eyes, and each of his cheeks have three distinct whisker marks.

The young male gains a sly smirk and he says, “It looks like that ‘Star Dragon King’ guy gained a new power.” The young man then goes over to a deck of Duel Monster cards, draws one card, and he says, looking at Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) Synchro Monster card, “It looks like you are going to see you old pal, Stardust, sooner, partner.”

Just then a deep booming voice says, “It would seem so, kit. They are making their move.”

The young man says, “Got you, Kurama. Contact Suzume-sensei. Tell her that we’re ready.”

The deep booming voice responds, “So, you are going to do it, huh?”

The young man retorts, “Believe it, Kurama. This whole ‘good and evil ninja’ crap is just nonsense. There is only the way of the shinobi. Real ninja are just like those Hayabusa and Mugen Tenshin ninja. We are independent to follow our own shinobi way. It is time for the Uzumaki clan to show this world’s ninja the right way.”

The deep booming voice responds, slyly, “Kit, I just love the way that you think these days. You have finally grown up…Naruto.”

The young man responds, with a sly smile, “Yeah, right, Kurama. You just want to see some tail.”

The deep booming voice replies, slyly, “What do you expect, brat? I’m a kitsune. We are the ‘touchy and feely’ type.” The young male shakes his head and the deep booming voice says, “Don’t give me that, kit. You love your ‘private time’ with them as well as with your Hyuga princess and pink-haired harpy after you and others had tamed her as well as made sure that she finally grew up for once. Plus, Haruka-chan helped her gain quite a rack herself.”

The young man says, shaking his head, “Ero-fox…” The young man looks up and he looks up at holographic screen depicting Suguha/Sailor Celestial, Serena/Sailor Moon, Kazuto, Davis, and various others in which he gains a sly grin on his lips.
