If any of you have read the Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V manga storyline, then you would understand about that plot point in the previous chapters. Sailor Moon Online II: SAO Shippuden

 

(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’ starts)

 

As the intro starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and Lux.

 

The next shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya, who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya, warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori appear behind her.

 

Just then it turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis, the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her enemy.

 

Next, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica, Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and Rasengan, in this ‘fight demonstration’.

 

Then we find Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.

 

The scene changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500) while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch into an epic titanic fight.

 

Just then we see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they defeat the Divine Serpent.

 

Naruto and Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata, Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges along with the Crimson Dragon.

 

The scene then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them look into the distance.

 

Finally, we have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering the Rasengan, Leafa flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc III: Chapter 20: Chaotic Genesis Emerging

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture

 

Within Kyoto Prefecture, we find Kite looking at a holographic screen being produced by his duel disk.

 

Kite says, “I have four of those cards and that means only Masquerade, Star Cestus, and…Tachyon Dragon.” Kite ‘senses’ something and he says, “Yes, I know. I can feel your need to fight against him again.” Kite then looks at the holographic screen and his eyes widen in which he says, “This is unexpected.” Kite then says, his eyes narrowing, “And irritating as well. However, I have a job to do and nothing as well as no one will stand in my way even if they are so-called ‘heroes’ of this Earth.”

 

(Elsewhere; on the meanwhile)

 

We return to the area where it was a deadly Shadow Duel between the ‘revived’ Roman Goodwin against our Digidestined of Miracles and Life as well as Star Dragon King, Davis Motomiya, in which our heroes and heroines are getting themselves together in the aftermath of the fight where we find Sailor Pluto looking at her Garnet Orb on her Garnet Staff with the jeweled orb glowing brightly.

 

When the jewel orb on Pluto’s staff stops glowing, Sailor Uranus asks, “Well?”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “It is as I feared. Time and space are becoming disrupted. The fabric of reality is becoming warped.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, shocked, “Are you serious?”

 

Sailor Mars says, “I don’t think she is one to joke around with this, Jupiter.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, “So, it seems like what Roman said was true.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “Somehow, Yuuko has gained a power that rivals Sailor Celestial’s power. A power that can alter the very fabric of reality.”

 

Yolei says, nervously, “That’s not good.”

 

Hawkmon says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

 

Davis asks, “How could anyone gain a power that rivals her of all people?”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “Remember, young sun prince, Sailor Celestial might be one of the most powerful beings in our universe and possibly the multiverse, but she is a mortal like any one of us and while she has infinite potential, there is always a possibility of things and beings that can rival her.”

 

Gatomon says, with a nod, “I’ve got to agree with that.”

 

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Same here. You may be strong, but there is always something or someone stronger.”

 

Rika says, with a sly grin, “Says that guy that got his butt whooped by ‘Absolute Sword’.”

 

Mina asks, slyly, “Didn’t you get your butt whooped by her too in which Kazuto lasted A LOT longer than you?” Rika glares intensely at Mina, who gives the classic ‘innocent whistle’.

 

Tai asks, annoyed, “Don’t we have something important to think about?”

 

Matt says, with a nod of his head in agreement, “Tai’s right. We have to worry about a certain revenge driven maniac that seems to have gotten her hands-on powers that can warp the fabric of reality.”

 

Gabumon says, with a nod, “Good point, Matt.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, “So, what can we do about it?”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “I’m afraid that Roman Goodwin’s words may be true. If indeed, Yuuko has gotten her hands on such a power, there is only one person that can stop her.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “Sailor Celestial.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice shouts out, “Someone talking about me?!” Everyone then looks to see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, her two Digimon partners, in their Mega forms, and Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Katsuragi, and Crimson Squad, who are riding on ShineGreymon, float down in front of them.

 

Hiyori says, “Suguha!”

 

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, “Dare I ask on what the heck happened here?”

 

Yolei says, annoyed, “Nothing really! Just some major nutjob Dark Signer that Yusei-dono and his friends fought back in their day was revived and was beating Davis to a pulp where he barely got out a win!”

 

Davis retorts, plain and sarcastically, “I’m right here, you know?”

 

Yolei tells Davis, annoyed, “And I’m trying to show Suguha what a dumb question she asked.”

 

Sailor Celestial says, with a sigh, “I had to ask.”

 

Rika asks Sailor Celestial, annoyed, “Where have you been?”

 

Naruto responds, “She has been with me.”

 

Everyone looks at Naruto and Kazuto asks, curiously, “Why is that?”

 

Sakura responds, “We’ve been training her to end the threat once and for all.”

 

Kotone asks, curiously, “End the threat?”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, plainly, “You know something about what kind of ‘power’ that Yuuko has.”

 

There are looks of surprise and Yusei says, “Roman mentioned that Yuuko had gained a power to warp time and space. Mainly, alter the fabric of reality.”

 

Jack says, in his classic sarcastic tone, “Pretty convincing when two fiendish creatures from the past were brought including one’s who power that I took to create my Red Nova Dragon.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “With the other being the infamous Dark Dragon of the Hayabusa clan lore.”

 

There are looks of shock with Naruto and the ninjas of his group causing Hinata to say, “Oh no.”

 

Mirai says, annoyed, “Well, just fuck.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a stern tone, “You do know something about this!”

 

Hinata says, with a sigh, “Yes, we did. However, we didn’t say anything because…”

 

Homura says, with a plain tone, “We didn’t damn well believe it at first ourselves!”

 

Sailor Celestial says, plainly, “And trust me, it is pretty unbelievable.” Soon enough, Sailor Celestial, with a bit of help from Naruto and others, about Genesis Omega Dragon which gives a ‘spark of recognition’ in Sailor Pluto’s mind through she doesn’t completely understand why.

 

When they are done, Rika says, shocked, “You’re right…I CAN’T believe it!”

 

Sailor Celestial says, with a nod, “Yeah, you know? But I have been told that you shouldn’t always believe that you are the ‘strongest’, ‘most powerful’, ‘invincible’, or what not since there could be things just as powerful if not more powerful than you.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Through it doesn’t mean that you don’t get stronger than them after you found something or someone stronger than you.” Sailor Celestial giggles at this in which plenty of the others take note especially Kazuto, Sailor Star, Sailor Orion, and Sailor Moon causing her right arm to tense.

 

Hikage says, “By the way, we have a friend of Yugi-dono and Joey-dono with us.” Just then ShineGreymon lowers his hands to show a still unconscious Tristan Taylor in his hands.

 

Yugi, Joey, and Duke gasp in which Yugi says, shocked, “Tristan!”

 

 As Yugi, Joey, and Duke go over to Tristan, Joey asks, “But how?”

 

Hikage says, “We found him out in the fields.”

 

Joey asks, annoyed, “What? Did they just throw him out like garbage?”

 

Suzume says, shaking her head, “No. He was left for someone to easily find in which they had him covered in a shield of some kind. Most likely, someone from the inside rescued him.”

 

Sakura says, with a nod of her head, “Somebody got him out of Yuuko’s and Neo Paradius’ hands and made sure that someone, most likely one of you, guys, would find him easily.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, “Does that mean that we have an ally on the inside?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “Or maybe someone that doesn’t want Yuuko to succeed in her plans.”

 

Sailor Mercury asks, “But why only Tristan-san?”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, “Maybe he is the only this person that rescued him could get to at the time.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “Well, we can’t rely on ‘unknown assistants’ for this. We need to do this ourselves.”

 

Sailor Celestial says, “You take care of the rescuing, but I have to take care of Yuuko and Genesis Omega Dragon. As much as I don’t want to agree with a psycho that basically created one of the greatest disasters that ripped a city apart and murdered hundreds to thousands of people, I’ve got to say that he is right. I need to take this to her alone. I’m the only one that can seal Genesis Omega Dragon…”

 

Sailor Moon shouts out, annoyed, “That’s enough!” Everyone looks at Sailor Moon as she stomps off to face Sailor Celestial and Sailor Moon says, giving off irritation in her voice, but the tone becomes ‘darker’, “I am sick and tired of your constant ‘me, myself, and I’ attitude’ and I am just sick of it!”

 

Sailor Celestial asks, annoyed and surprised, “What has gotten into you?!”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, her tone getting dark and angrier, “Maybe that should be a question for you, and you should know that it isn’t just me! Plenty of us are getting sick of tired of your ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude you have been sporting, Celestial!” Plenty of the others gasp in shock and Tuxedo Mask becomes REALLY worried at that.

 

Tuxedo Mask says, concerned, “Serena…”

 

However, Sailor Moon ignores Tuxedo Mask and she continues to yell at Sailor Celestial, her tone getting even darker and angrier, “You have been going off on your own, making us worried sick, especially Kazuto and I, and going on that this is YOUR fight. Well, it is our fight, too, especially since she attacked the people that we cared about, including our families! And yet, you continue this ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude saying that this is your battle!”

 

There are more gasps of shock with Naruto then saying to Sailor Moon, with a bit of a nervous tone, “Whoa! Give the girl a break here…!!” Just then Naruto ‘senses’ something ‘off’ about Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon glares at Naruto with an out-of-character dark look in her eyes.

 

Sailor Moon says, her tone now vicious and quite dark, “Back off, Uzumaki!” Naruto then yelps as he is hit by an ‘invisible force’ from Sailor Moon and knocking him down to the ground causing a lot of people all around to be shocked for all sorts of reasons on Sailor Moon’s action.

 

Hinata says, worriedly, “Naruto-kun!”

 

Homura yells out, angrily, “”What the fuck is your problem?!”

 

Sailor Celestial says, sternly, “Stand down, Sailor Moon!”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, viciously and angrily, “You dare order me, Celestial?!”

 

Sailor Celestial shouts out, sternly, “No, I’m telling you to back down NOW!!!” Sailor Moon then screams out as she is hit by the power of Sailor Celestial’s ‘rainbow aura’, sent flying backwards, spin in mid-air, and slam down to the ground on her stomach, hard!”

 

Tuxedo Mask shouts out, worriedly, “Serena!”

 

Sailor Celestial goes over to Naruto, who is being helped by Hinata and Sakura, and Sailor Celestial asks Naruto, concerned, “Are you okay?”

 

Naruto responds, with his trademark, “Just peachy. Trust me, I’ve been worse through this, believe it!”

 

Tuxedo Mask goes over to Sailor Moon, he asks, “Are you okay?”

 

Sailor Moon responds, with a dark plain tone, “Peachy, Darien-kun.” As Sailor Moon gets back on her feet, she looks at Sailor Celestial and she asks, “So, you are joining up with him?”

 

Sailor Celestial replies, “It is the only way to seal Genesis Omega Dragon away.” Sailor Celestial says, “And there is more…”

 

Sailor Venus asks, curiously, “More?”

 

Mirai says, with a sly smirk, “Don’t you freaking get it? She is on our side!”

 

There are multiple gasps of shock and Rika asks, shocked, “Say what?!”

 

Suzume says, with a sly smile, “It isn’t exactly like that. Since we have helped Sailor Celestial unlock a bit of her ‘potential’, she has agreed to an ‘alliance’ with us and then some. Technically, she isn’t with our group. She is valuable ally now.”

 

Sailor Orion asks Sailor Celestial, “Is this true?”

 

Sailor Celestial gives a sigh causing her to say, with a light blush on her cheeks, “More or less. They are the ones that taught me the necessary sealing skills among other things. So, it damn well makes sense that I give my ‘support’ to them.”

 

Sailor Moon asks, “So, that’s it?”

 

Sailor Moon and Sailor Celestial stare to stare each other down causing Joe to say, nervously, “Oh, boy.”

 

Gomamon, Joe’s Digimon partner, responds, with a nod, “No kidding, Joe.”

 

Sailor Celestial says, with a plain tone, “They gave me the training that I needed to seal Genesis Omega Dragon, but they also found ways to overcome my limits especially those that I kept putting on myself! Finding ways for me to gain strength that I couldn’t imagine!”

 

As Sailor Moon and Sailor Celestial stare down at each other, Sailor Moon tells her, “Celestial, don’t do this.”

 

Sailor Celestial responds, “I have to, sis. I have to do what it takes to make sure that my mistakes don’t end up destroying lives just as my powers have done. It was because of my power that Sword Art Online got started in the first place. It was letting my hatred and rage get out of control that I let those jerks manipulate me and causing the ‘downfall’ of Yuuko and the others. I need this strength! I need this power!”

 

Sailor Moon, after a few moments, gives a solemn sigh and she replies, with a stern tone, “Then you know what I have to do.”

 

Sailor Celestial replies, “You would fight me?”

 

Sailor Moon responds, in a very determined tone, “It is as Davis taught me. If you truly care about something and they have crossed ‘a line’, then you have to fight to save them from themselves. And that’s what I’m prepared to do, Celestial. You are my family and I won’t let you destroy yourself! I’ll stop you!”

 

Naruto tells Sailor Moon, “Maybe that’s what everyone else should be telling you since there is something really wrong with you!” Sailor Moon glares at Naruto and Naruto says, pointing to Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Uranus, “Oh, yeah! Then let’s ask them!”

 

When everyone looks at Sailor Mars, Sailor Uranus, and Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Mars tells Sailor Moon, “Meatball Head, he’s right. There is something wrong with you.”

 

Sailor Moon snaps at Sailor Mars with a completely uncharacteristic ‘snappy’ and dark cross tone, “Oh, you are taking HIS side?!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “Kitten, Mars is right. Your wind…something is off about your aura…”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, in a dark irritated tone, “I’m just FINE!!!” But when Sailor Moon says that, there is a slight dark aura forming around her.

 

Tuxedo Mask says, concerned, “Serena…!!”

 

Sakura says, with a plain tone, “That settles that.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice yells out, “Not yet!” Everyone looks towards the source to find Kite coming towards them.

 

Yolei asks, annoyed, “Now what?”

 

Kite says, pointing at Sailor Moon, “Hand over that Number that you are carrying!”

 

Sailor Celestial asks, confused, “Number?”

 

Haruka says, “You mean those strange XYZ Monster cards that have numbers in their name like you, Davis, and those in Neo Paradius are using? That’s interesting.”

 

Haruka looks at Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon tells Kite, with a dark annoyed tone, “And why should I?”

 

Kite says, plainly, “I see. That card has already gotten into your head.”

 

Sailor Saturn asks, “What are you talking about?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, nervously, “Uh oh! He must talk about that card that Yuuko gave to Mistress Nine after she revived her from the remains left in your psyche, Firefly! She used that card in her duel with Sailor Moon!”

 

Sailor Venus asks Sailor Moon, “Don’t tell me that you picked up those cards?!”

 

Just then a strong ‘dark aura’ starts to surround Sailor Moon and she yells out, with a dark strong tone, “So, what if I did?!”

 

Davis says, nervously, “Well, I guess that answers that question.”

 

Tai says, sarcastically, “Obviously, Davis.”

 

Kite says, activating his duel disk, “It is plain to see that you aren’t in any condition to see reason, so, I guess that I have to duel you and rip that Number from you!”

 

Sailor Celestial shouts out, sternly, “Hey…!!” But before she could really say anything, a dark portal appears by the side of Kazuto and Sailor Star and ‘dark tentacles’ then grab onto Kazuto and Sailor Star in which they scream out as they are dragged into the gateway by the ‘tentacles’.

 

The others gasp in shock and Keiko says, “Kirito! Asuna!”

 

Sailor Celestial says, shocked and surprised, “Big brother! Asuna!” Without a thought, Sailor Celestial leaps into the portal after her brother and Sailor Star.

 

Rika says, concerned, “Hold on!” Rika then leaps into the portal after Sailor Celestial with Keiko following afterwards.

 

Hiyori says, worriedly, “Rika! Keiko!” Without another thought, Hiyori then follows Rika and Keiko with Sailor Orion silently following afterwards with ShineGreymon and Dianamon de-digivolving back into Agumon (Suguha) and Lunamon where they join Sailor Orion through the gateway. However, before any of the others can follow, the gateway closes on them!

 

Tai says, strongly and worriedly, “Oh, crap!”

 

Sailor Sun asks, confused, “What just happened?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “That’s a good question with an obvious answer.”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, glaring at Kite darkly, “What’s your game?!”

 

Kite responds, strongly, “That doesn’t have anything to do with me. I just here for that Number and I’m going to rip it out of you.” Sailor Moon gives a roar and powerful dark silver aura ‘explodes’ where it knocks everyone else down to the ground.

 

Sailor Moon shouts out, with a dark strong tone, “I like to see you try and I’m going to make you talk!” Just then Sailor Moon’s duel disk appears around her armored left wrist and her dueling deck appearing inside where she activates her duel disk.

 

Tuxedo Mask shouts out, worriedly, “Sailor Moon, stop!” However, Sailor Moon doesn’t listen as the chaotic ‘dark aura’ surrounds her in which Davis steps up and activates his duel disk.

 

Tai asks Davis, surprised, “What are you doing?”

 

Davis says, “It is obvious that weirdo card has gotten into Moon girl and knocked some screws loose! I’m going to knock some sense into her now!” Davis says, glaring at Kite, “And you, I’m going to force answers from you!”

 

Kite says, with a plain tone, “You can try.”

 

Just then a male voice shouts out, “You are going to need this!” Davis looks over to the source only to have a crystal pendulum, similar Sailor Moon’s and Sailor Celestial’s crystal pendulum, fly into his hands, but at a closer look, this crystal pendulum is a deep blue color with a picture of a dragon surrounding an intense flame. When everyone looks to where the crystal pendulum came flying from, they find none other than Declan looking at them. Declan tells Davis, “To be a true ‘Dragon King’, you need to master ALL dragons and that will help you.”

 

Mirai asks, annoyed, “The fuck? You again?!”

 

TK asks, plainly, “Someone you know?”

 

Suzume says, “He told us his name was Declan and declared that he is after Genesis Omega Dragon too.”

 

Ken asks, curiously, “Really?”

 

Declan says, “I believe that you have a situation more pressing than me right now. I shall be taking my leave.” Declan then pushes a button on his duel disk, and he teleports away.

 

Homura asks, annoyed, “What’s that guy’s deal?”

 

Sakura says, pointing to what’s happening between Kite, Sailor Moon, and Davis, “Right now, we have got a pair of problems to deal with.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “I believe that they can solve things just fine. Hey, I don’t like running from people in trouble as well as a fight, but I’ve learned not to butt in when people have got it in hand.” Naruto says, with a serious tone, “The situation that we have got to deal with is where Suguha-chan and the others left to and I KNOW exactly where they have gone.”

 

Hinata asks, curiously, “You do, Naruto-kun?”

 

Naruto says, taking his duel disk out of a storage seal on his clothing, “You know it, Hinata-chan. It has got to be Neo Paradius’ ‘big wig’ that took her bro and his girlfriend away and that means that there is only one place that they can be! Let’s go!” Naruto attaches his duel disk, which has a dueling deck inside, to his left wrist, activates it, and Naruto puts a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck on his duel disk’s Monster Card Zones causing Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) to appear in which Naruto says, leaping onto Red Dragon Archfiend, “Let’s go, gang!”

 

Hikage says, with a nod, “Understood.” Soon enough, Hinata, Sakura, Katsuragi, and the Crimson Squad leap onto Red Dragon Archfiend as well causing many of the others to be shocked.

 

Kotone asks, shocked, “What the?!”

 

Leo asks, flabbergasted, “How are they doing that?”

 

Yusei says, “Remember, that’s REAL SOLID VISION technology. It gives Duel Monsters’ physical form like it is a Shadow Game or Akiza using her powers.”

 

Joey says, amazed, “Geez, Kaiba would give a fortune for that tech…in order to make an even larger one.”

 

Mirai yells out, “Later!”

 

Naruto says, “We’ll see you on Aincrad!” Red Dragon Archfiend, with Naruto and his group riding on him, takes off into the distance.

 

Tai yells out, “Hold on!”

 

Matt tells Tai, “We can’t worry about them, Tai. We have another problem to deal with.” Matt focuses on the three-way duel between Kite, Sailor Moon, and Davis that’s starting in which all three of their duel disks have been activated, in which the ‘energy blades’ that have the disks’ Monster and Pendulum Card Zones, their disks have already shuffled their decks, and all three of them have drawn five cards from their decks.

 

“Let’s duel!” Kite, Davis, and Sailor Moon say in unison as their three-way duel begins.

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture, Unknown location

 

At a currently unknown location, we find Kazuto slowly waking up and when he regains his senses, he looks at himself and he is shocked to find himself dressed like his SAO avatar in which he feels his back where he feels a familiar pair of swords attached to his back. When Kazuto looks around, he finds himself in a familiar meeting room.

 

Kazuto says, “This room…”

 

Just then a sinister male voice calls out, “You should remember this, Black Swordsman.” Kazuto turns to the source of the voice to find none other than Kuradeel, the Knights of Blood member that defected to Laughing Coffin and while nearly murdering Kazuto, forcing Kazuto to strike him down.

 

Kazuto asks, shocked, “Kuradeel?”

 

Kuradeel responds, with a sick smile on his face, “Boo! Have you seen a ghost, Black Swordsman? Because I have returned from the grave to get my final revenge!”

 

Just then Asuna’s/Sailor Star’s voice booms out, “Kirito-kun, watch out!” Kazuto looks to the source of the voice to see Asuna, dressed like her SAO avatar minus her rapier, and Asuna is trapped within a cage with a mixture of concern for Kazuto while MAJOR irritation for being put in a cage, again. Asuna tells Kazuto, “We’re inside of Aincrad and Kuradeel is working for Yuuko now! He has the Seal of Orichalcos!”

 

Kazuto gasps and Kuradeel says, displaying a white Chaos Duel Disk attached to his left wrist, “Oh, why do you have to be a spoil sport and reveal the plot, vice-commander? But then again, you can only watch as I rip your boyfriend’s soul from his body and leave him a lifeless husk!”

 

Asuna tells Kuradeel, sternly, “Get real, Kuradeel! Kirito-kun won’t lose to worthless traitor like you!”

 

Kuradeel yells out, angrily, “You betrayed me first by associating with beaters like him!” Kuradeel says, glaring at Kazuto, “And you will pay for that betrayed by watching the person that you love so much get beaten to the ground!” Just then the doors of the room fly open in which Sailor Celestial, her two Digimon partners, Sailor Orion, Rika, Keiko, and Hiyori run into the room with Rika, Keiko, and Hiyori dressed exactly like they did in SAO.

 

Sailor Celestial says, with a glare, “I don’t see that happening, jerk!”

 

Kazuto says, “Sugu! Sinon! Liz! Silica! Hiyori!”

 

Kuradeel says, with a sneer, “Your precious sister and your friends. They can wait in the ‘peanut gallery’ like good little stooges.”

 

Agumon (Suguha) yells out, annoyed, “Hey!” Kuradeel snaps his fingers in which another gateway appears at the feet of Sailor Celestial, her two Digimon partners, Sailor Orion, Rika, Keiko, and Hiyori while a powerful ‘gravity field’ drags them through the portal which vanishes after they go through.

 

Kazuto says, worriedly, “No!”

 

Kuradeel says, with a wicked smirk, “Don’t worry, beater boy! They will be just fine…That’s until they meet their opponents. It seems like the person that revived me as a ‘thing’ against your baby sister like I have against you…and that witch, Kayaba’s ‘little princess’, for making a fool out of me! You and her both will suffer! After I rip your soul, I will send your lifeless husk to her to let me hear her cries of despair and pain!”

 

Asuna says, with a sneer, “You are sick! I can’t believe that we allowed like you into the Knights of Blood!”

 

Kuradeel says, in a sinister mocking tone, “Boo hoo! Like I care what you think, FORMER vice-commander! Now, just sit back and watch me tear your boyfriend apart!”

 

Kazuto asks, “And what makes you think that I will do it your way, Kuradeel?”

 

Kuradeel tells Kazuto, with a sinister smile, “Now, Black Swordsman, you should know better.” Kuradeel tells Kazuto, pointing to Asuna, “You don’t duel, then BOOM!” Asuna gasps in shock as Kazuto’s eyes widen at the implication of Kuradeel words in which he asks, in a dark taunting tone, “Get the idea?”

 

Kazuto, noticing that he has a black Real Solid Vision duel disk attached to his left wrist, asks, “And how can I believe that this will work fairly?”

 

Kuradeel says, “If it doesn’t, I lose and you know what happens to the loser in this kind of duel, right? Personally, I want it that way to make your beating much more delicious with your screams of pain and agony.”

 

Kuradeel gives an evil sick laugh and Kazuto says, taking out his dueling deck from a sub-space pocket, “Okay, that’s disgusting.” Kazuto thinks in his mind, “It is a good thing that Ami created our own sub-space pockets to store important stuff to defend ourselves and more just in case.” Kazuto and Kuradeel insert their decks into their duel disks and activate them in which Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Sugu, you and the others have to stay safe. Don’t worry, Asuna, I’ll get us out of this mess.”

 

(Elsewhere on Aincrad; on the meanwhile)

 

Within another part of the ‘reborn’ Aincrad, we find Sailor Celestial and her two Digimon partners wandering through a massive forest with massive trees filled with thick fog.

 

Agumon (Suguha) says, “This place has a lot of fog.”

 

Lunamon asks Sailor Celestial, “Where are we, Suguha?”

 

Sailor Celestial says, “If we are still on Aincrad, we have to be on floor three and the Forest of Wavering Mists. I remember this from New Aincrad and what I could learn from sis and big brother.”

 

Lunamon says, worriedly, “What about the others? I can’t see them anyway.”

 

Sailor Celestial says, “Let’s keep looking for them as we find our way out of here. Yuuko won’t be so kind to allow us to find them easily.” Sailor Celestial’s two Digimon partners nod their heads in agreement and continued on, but through the mists, we find a pair of eyes watching them.

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture

 

Returning outside of Aincrad, we find the nasty three-way duel between Kite, Davis, and ‘corrupted’ Sailor Moon about to start.

TK says, with a nod, “Let’s just hope that he will be okay.”

 

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card and with a dark serious tone, “I’ll start this duel off! I draw!” Sailor Moon says, displaying Stargazer Magician (1200/2400) and Timegazer Magician (1200/600) Pendulum Monster cards, “I take scale one, Stargazer Magician, and scale eight, Timegazer Magician, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Sailor Moon puts the two cards on her disk’s Pendulum Card Zones causing her Monster Card Zones to glow with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors in which both monsters appear on the field in two columns, one monster per column, with the number 1 below Stargazer and the number 8 below Timegazer causing Sailor Moon to say, “Now, I can summon monsters that are levels two to seven this turn! Swing, Pendulum! Draw the arc of light to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Sailor Moon puts three cards on her disk, and she yells out, with a dark stern tone, “It is time for a triple threat! Skilled Dark, White, and Blue Magician!” A circle of light appears on the field, three ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those ‘lights’ are revealed to be Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1600), Skilled White Magician (1700/1900), and Skilled Blue Magician (1800/1800) appear on the field in attack mode. Sailor Moon yells out, with a dark serious tone, “I Overlay all three Magicians and build the Overlay Network!” All three magicians turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground, Sailor Moon puts the three monsters’ cards on top of the same Monster Card Zone while putting an XYZ Monster card from her Extra Deck on top of them, and Sailor Moon shouts out, darkly, “I XYZ Summon Number One-Hundred and Four: Masquerade!” Out of the vortex, Number 104: Masquerade (2700/1200) with three Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a sneer, “That’s the card that’s Mistress Nine had!”

 

Sailor Mars says, with a plain tone, “And that’s the card messing with Meatball Head’s head!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “Unfortunately, I can see it messing with Kitten quite easily.”

Kotone asks, curiously, “How so?”

 

Sailor Uranus tells Kotone, “As a SAO survivor, you should have a good idea, Kotone.” Kotone’s eyes widen in realization, knowing Sailor Uranus has a point, and Sailor Uranus says, “The scars from SAO that Sailor Moon suffered haven’t begun to truly heal and current situations like Ordinal Scale and this situation have hampered that healing. The mental and emotional trauma that she has suffered since SAO makes Sailor Moon quite vulnerable to ‘influence’.”

Tuxedo Mask says, lowly, “Serena…”

 

Sammy thinks in his mind, “Damn it all, Meatball Head! You would have your marbles scrambled by a card! But then again, after what HE put you through, you can’t be blamed at all.”

 

Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I place one card face-down and call it a turn!”

 

Kite says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Kite thinks in his mind, “Masquerade is a dangerous monster. It uses an Overlay Unit to negate monster effects in battle and deals damage at the same time. That makes Galaxy-Eyes’ ability all, but useless! Plus, you can’t attack on your first turn in a three-way duel and that means that once it gets back to her. I need to be ready.” Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “Since I control no monsters, I can summon Photon Thrasher!” Photon Thrasher (2100/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, putting another card on his disk, “Since I have a Photon monster on my field, I can now Special Summon Photon Advancer as well!” Just then Photon Advancer (1000/1000), a white and blue humanoid monster with pink shoulders and yellow head, appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, “Since I have another Photon monster on my field, Advancer gains one grand in attack power!” Photon Advancer then goes up from 1000/1000 to 2000/1000 and Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I release Photon Thrasher and Photon Advancer to play this! A monster more powerful than a super nova! One that will break through barriers at the speed of light and blast you into oblivion! Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” Kite then throws a strange ‘shuriken’ into the air and that ‘shuriken’ then ‘transforms’ into Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000/2500) in attack mode. Kite says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I place two cards face-down and call it a turn!”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Just then Davis gets a ‘sensation’ and he then looks around his wrist where the crystal pendulum that Declan gave him gives off a slight glow causing both Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon to roar as it gives off a similar glow along with Sailor Moon’s crystal pendulum and deck as well as Kite’s deck as well.

 

Kite, noticing this, thinks in his mind, “Galaxy-Eyes? And my deck? They are resonating with him?” With Davis, ‘images’ of new monsters come into his mind and he gets an idea as he looks at his hand.

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “First, I start off with Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then I discard two from my hand!” Davis draws three cards and then discards two cards from his hand to his disk’s graveyard slot.

 

Sailor Moon says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Talisman of Reversal!” Sailor Moon’s face-down card is revealed to be the Talisman of Reversal trap card and Sailor Moon says, with a dark plain tone, “Since you drew cards outside of your Draw Phase, I get cards equal to your current hand!”

 

Sailor Moon draws half-a-dozen new cards and Davis thinks in his mind, “Ouch! Leave it to girl to lay out a trap like that!”

 

Kite says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Thanks! I’ll take a bit of that with my Photon Replicator trap!” Kite’s face-down card is revealed to be a counter-trap card with a picture of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and its wings reflecting spell and trap cards in which Kite says, “When you activate a spell or trap when I have a Photon monster on my field, I can replicate its effect for myself! So, I’m using your Talisman of Reversal trap and since you drew outside of the Draw Phase of your turn, I get cards equal to your current hand!”

 

Kite also draws half-a-dozen new cards from his deck and Sailor Jupiter says, “Damn! He is good!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “That’s because he is dueling much like his life depended it on it.”

 

Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Since you have monsters and I don’t, I Special Summon Vice Dragon from my hand!” Soon after, Vice Dragon (2000/2400-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “However, summoning good old Vice Dragon cuts his power in half, but now, I remove Vice Dragon from play to bring out Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!” Vice Dragon vanishes with Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400) appearing on the field in attack mode in place of Vice Dragon with Davis saying, “Darkness Metal Dragon’s ability now activates! Now, I can bring out one dragon monster from my hand or graveyard! Return, Water Dragon!” Just then Mythic Water Dragon (1000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Inferno Reckless Summon! Since I Special Summoned a monster that has fifteen hundred or less attack points, I can summon as many copies of the same monster from my hand, deck, and graveyard!” Two cards come from Davis’ deck, he puts them on his disk, and two more Mythic Water Dragons (1000/2000 X 2) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “All those level eight monsters? Is he doing what I think he is doing?”

 

Davis says, “I Overlay two of my Mythic Water Dragons and build the Overlay Network!” Two of the Mythic Water Dragons turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Davis puts their cards on top of the same Monster Card Zone on his disk while a brand new XYZ Monster card appears over them causing Davis to shout out, “I XYZ Summon Number Ninety-Seven: Dragravion!” Out of the vortex, Number 97: Dragravion (3000/3000), a massive dark-grey and black dragon with the number 97 on its left wings along with two Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, stunned, “Another new Number that I haven’t seen before?!”

 

Yolei says, amazed, “Here we go again!”

 

Davis yells out, “I activate Dragravion’s ability! By removing two Overlay Units, I’m able to take two Dragon Number XYZ monsters from my Extra Deck in which I summon one and the other one becomes an Overlay Unit for that Dragon XYZ Monster!” Two XYZ Monster cards appear in Davis’ hands and he displays Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (2000/0) and Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (4000/3000) XYZ Monster cards in which Davis yells out, “I choose Number Seventeen: Leviathan Dragon and Number Sixty-Two: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon!” Kite’s eyes widen at that and Davis shouts out, putting the two cards on his disk, “I choose to summon Leviathan Dragon and make Prime Photon Dragon his Overlay Unit!” Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (2000/0) with one Water Overlay Unit appears on the field in attack mode and Davis shouts out, “I activate Leviathan Dragon’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, I boost his power by five hundred attack points!” Leviathan Dragon absorbs its Overlay Unit and its stats go up from 2000/0 to 2500/0 with Davis saying, while putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Monster Reborn and revive Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon!” Just then Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (4000/3000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis shouts out, “And now, I rebuild the Overlay Network with Prime Photon Dragon! Go, Rank-Up XYZ Evolution!” Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the air while another brand new XYZ Monster card appears over Prime Photon Dragon’s card on Davis’ disk causing Davis to shout out, “Come forth, Number Ninety-Five: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon (4000/0), a black dragon seemly made of ‘dark matter’ with number 95 imprinted on its chest along with one Dark Overlay Unit, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, shocked, “A new Galaxy-Eyes Number monster?!”

 

Davis says, “Dark Matter Dragon’s ability activates! When successfully XYZ Summoned, I can send up to three different dragon monsters from my deck to my grave, but then my opponents must remove up three monsters from their decks from play!” Three cards come out of Davis’ deck and he sends them to the graveyard in which both Sailor Moon and Kite take out three cards from their respective decks causing them to ‘vanish’ to show that they have been removed from play. Davis says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Polymerization! I fuse Darkness Metal Dragon, Mythic Water Dragon, and Leviathan Dragon!” All three said monsters then go into a fusion vortex and Davis puts a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck on his duel disk causing him to say, “Now, time for you to meet Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment!” Out of the fusion vortex, Trishula, the Dragon of Icy Imprisonment (2700/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “Since this big guy was summoned with only dragon monsters, his ability activates! I remove one card from my deck and my opponent removes the top card of their deck along with one card from their Extra Deck!” A card comes out of Davis’ deck and ‘vanishes’ to show that it has been removed from play in which the top card of Sailor Moon’s and Kite’s deck ‘vanishes’ as well as one card from each of their Extra Deck comes where they ‘vanish’ as well.

 

Ken says, “Davis isn’t pulling any punches.”

 

Tai says, with a nod, “And that’s a good thing.”

 

Davis says, “Next, I remove two of my Mythic Water Dragons from my graveyard from play to revive Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls!” Two cards come out of Davis’ deck and ‘vanish’ in which Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls (2600/2000) appears on the field in attack mode in which Davis says, putting one more card on his disk, “Then I summon Flamvell Guard!” Just then Flamvell Guard (100/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “I tune Flamvell Guard with Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Tidal, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing Davis to say, “The wishes come together to form a new shining star! Become the path that lights the way! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk, and he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Veemon says, excitedly, “Awesome! Davis’ ace is on the field!”

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I play my Dragon Spirit Treasure spell card! For every dragon on my field, I remove one spell card from play and then I draw one card, but if I have two types of dragons on my field, I get to double the number of cards that I draw, however, I must remove from play an equal number of cards from my deck. But if I have more than three different types of dragons on my field, the condition is wavered! Since that’s the case, I remove three spell cards to draw six new cards!” Three cards come out of the graveyard slot of Davis’ disk and ‘vanish’ with Davis drawing half-a-dozen new cards from his deck with Davis saying, while putting three cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I throw down three face-downs and call it a turn!”

 

TK says, with a nod, “Very good. Davis has got three high-powered monsters out and three face-downs to boot with plenty of cards in his hand.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, her eyes narrowing, “But what I don’t understand is the story of these ‘Number’ XYZ monsters that he and the other guy are using. Plus, wasn’t this guy the one using one of those monsters? Now, it looks like Davis has the same monster.”

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “Add to the fact that I know that Astral still has the Number Seventeen that I know of back in my world. So, it is possible that he might be…” Kite mentally shakes his head causing him to think, while looking at Sailor Moon, “Right now, I have to focus on my mission, and I won’t let anyone stay in my way. It is a miracle that everything turned out all right in my world and I’m not going to let the peace that all of us fought for be for nothing.”

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture, Aincrad

 

Back in the ‘reborn’ floating castle, Kazuto and the ‘revived’ Kuradeel are about to start their duel with Asuna, entrapped in a cage, watching on helplessly.

 

Asuna thinks in her mind, concerned, “Be careful, Kirito-kun.”

Kazuto responds, sternly, “Don’t be a fool! You should know what happens if you lose when you play that card!”

 

Kuradeel shouts out, with an evil smile, “I don’t care, and I don’t plan on losing, so, it won’t matter!” Kuradeel puts the card into the Field Spell slot of his disk and he roars out as he is surrounded by an eerie green column of light as a powerful wind comes from the green column. As the seal forms around Kazuto and Kuradeel, the roof of the tall building that they were in seems to fade away and leaving them ‘exposed’ with Asuna being trapped in a force-field ‘bubble’ that’s replacing her cage.

 

As she looks below at the vast metal city below her, Asuna thinks in her mind, “I thought so. We’re in Granzam, the main town of floor fifty-five and the Knights of the Blood’s last headquarters.” With Kuradeel, he gains the insignia of the Orichalcos on his forehead with a red glow in his eyes.

 

Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “I can’t wait to hear your screams of agony and former ‘Miss Vice Commander’ wailing in pain as I rip your soul from you!”

 

Kazuto says, with a determined tone, “Good luck with that. You lost to Asuna and I before and you will lose to me, again!”

 

Kuradeel says, putting one card on his disk, “You wish! I start off with Eidos the Underworld Squire!” Just then Eidos the Underworld Squire (800/1000), a sinister black armored knight, appears on the field in attack mode and Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “And now, he gets enhanced by the Orichalcos!” Eidos gains the insignia of the Orichalcos on its forehead and his eyes gain a red tint as its stats from 800/1000 to 1300/1000 as the Orichalcos’ power becomes infused in the monster. Kuradeel says, putting one card on his disk, “And due to Eidos’ ability, I can release him to Advance Summon another monster! I release Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch!” Eidos vanishes and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch (2400/1000-2900/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and becoming infused the Orichalcos’ power. Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “Thestalos’ ability now activates! When he is Advanced Summoned, I force you to discard one card from your hand and if it is a monster, you lose life-points equal to one hundred times its level!” Kazuto’s eyes narrow and Kuradeel points to one card in Kazuto’s hand in which it is revealed to be Black Luster Solider (3000/2500) Ritual monster card causing Kuradeel to get a bit wide-eyed when he sees the card, but he then sneers and he says, in a dark nasty tone, “I don’t know how a beater like you got your hands on a rare card like that, but it won’t help you, beater boy!” The card ‘vanishes’ in a flash into the graveyard and Kazuto yelps as he is hit by flames as he loses 800 life-points.

 

Asuna says, worriedly, “Kirito-kun!”

 

Kuradeel says, with a wicked grin, “Oh, you shouldn’t start your screaming, yet, former vice-commander. Not until your beater boyfriend feels REAL pain!”

 

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “I don’t like the sound of that.”

 

Kuradeel says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Double Summon spell card! Now, I can summon another monster! I release Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch to play Thestalos the Mega Monarch in attack mode!” Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch is engulfed in flames and it ‘transforms’ into Thestalos the Mega Monarch (2800/1000-3300/1000) in attack mode while getting infused with the Orichalcos’ power with Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “Now, I get to send another card from your hand to the graveyard and if it is a monster, you get burned with damage equal to two hundred times the level!” Kuradeel points to one card, the card is revealed to be Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) monster card, and when it vanishes, Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “Excellent! Since it is a level seven monster, you get hit with fourteen hundred points of damage! Oh, with Thestalos, since he was summoned by using a fire monster, you also suffering one grand more in damage!”

 

Kazuto asks, shocked, “What?!” Just then Kazuto yells out as he is hit hard by powerful flames as he loses 2400 more life-points.

 

Asuna yells out, fearfully, “Kirito-kun!”

 

Kuradeel says, with an evil sick smile, “Ah, music to my ears!” Kuradeel says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my March of the Monarchs spell! While this card is on the field, my Advanced Summon monsters can’t be destroyed, much less targeted by, card effects! The downside is that I can’t summon monsters from my Extra Deck, but that’s not a problem with me!” Kuradeel says, putting the last card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “And now, I end my turn with one card face-down and end my turn!”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Just my first turn and I’m already down to my last eight hundred life-points! This isn’t a good start! But I can’t give up! I haven’t come so far to be defeated now!” Kazuto touches his deck and he then mentally gasps as an image of a monster similar to Red Dragon Archfiend appears in his mind causing him to look at the cards at his hand as well as his Extra Deck in which Kazuto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with my Silent Doom! Now, I can revive one monster from my grave in defense mode!” Just then Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) comes to the field in defense mode and Kazuto says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman!” Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman (400/300) then appears on the field in attack mode and Kazuto says, “I tune Buster Whelp with Gaia!” Buster Whelp turns into one star that surrounds Gaia, turning him transparent, and when a new Synchro Monster card comes out of Kazuto’s Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing him to say, “Rend the obsidian darkness! Scorch heaven and earth, isolated absolute king! Synchro Summon!” When Kazuto puts the new Synchro Monster card on his disk, he yells out, “Blaze through the skies and earth, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend!” Out of the light, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000), a dragon similar to Red Dragon Archfiend, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kuradeel asks, confused, “What the?!”

 

Asuna thinks in her mind, surprised, “When did Kirito-kun get that monster?!”

 

Kazuto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Resonator Call! This card allows me to add one Resonator monster from my hand!” A card comes out of Kazuto’s deck and Kazuto says, putting it on his disk, “Synkron Resonator allows me to summon him since I have a Synchro Monster on my field!” Synkron Resonator (100/100) then appears on the field in attack mode and Kazuto says, “I tune Synkron Resonator with Hot Red Dragon Archfiend!” Synkron Resonator turns one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Hot Red Dragon Archfiend, turning it transparent, and when a new Synchro Monster comes out of Kazuto’s Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing Kazuto to say, “Demon king unleashed from the darkness of the abyss, let your rage explode! Synchro Summon!” Kazuto puts the new Synchro Monster card on his disk, and he yells out, “Come forth, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss!” Out of the light, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss (3200/2500), a larger and dark version of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend with sinister face on its chest, appears on the field in attack mode. Kazuto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And then I place one card face-down and call it a turn!”

 

Kuradeel says, drawing a card, “Is that all? What a joke! My turn! I draw!” Kuradeel says, pushing a button on his disk, “I activate my face-down card: The First Monarch!” Kuradeel’s face-down card is revealed to be the First Monarch continuous trap card and Kuradeel says, “This card becomes a monster that I can summon to my field!” Just then The First Monarch (1000/2400-1500/2400) appears on the field in attack mode causing it to become infused with the power of the Orichalcos causing Kuradeel to say, discarding a card, “By discarding one card, I can declare an attribute and my monster becomes that attribute where he can be used as two monsters for the summoning of a monster with that same attribute! And I declare Light!” Kuradeel then says, drawing two cards, “Plus, the card that I discarded was Card of Compensation and that means two new cards for me!” Kuradeel says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Return of the Monarchs spell card!” Kuradeel says, putting one card on his disk, “And now, I release my First Monarch to play one of the last monsters that you will ever see! Now, bow before the might of Ehther the Heavenly Monarch!” The First Monarch vanishes and in a blaze of light, Ehther the Heavenly Monarch (2800/1000-3300/1000), a massive silvery-white and golden female humanoid titan, appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos causing Kuradeel to say, as two cards comes out of his disk, “Now, her majesty’s ability activates! By discarding two Monarch cards from my hand or deck, I can special summon a monster with twenty-four attack points or more, but they must have exactly one grand in defense power! It also returns to my hand at the End Phase of this turn!” Kuradeel sends the two cards to the graveyard slot of his disk and another card comes out of his disk in which he says, “So now, I play Illusory Snatcher!” Kuradeel puts the card from his deck on his disk and Illusory Snatcher (2400/1000-2900/1000), a shadowy ghoul monster, appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos.

 

Asuna says, worriedly, “Kirito-kun…”

 

Kuradeel says, as yet another card comes out of his disk, “But that’s not the end of your troubles, beater boy! My Return of the Monarchs allows to add another monster from my hand that has a different monster than one that I just Advanced Summoned!” Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “However, it doesn’t matter since you are finished, Kirito! Ehther, take out his dragon and start the end for him!” Ehther unleashes a powerful light attack right for Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss.

 

Kazuto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Kazuto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Kazuto says, “Thanks to this trap, Abyss can’t be destroyed by battle or card effects this turn!”

 

Kuradeel says, with a dark sneer, “But you still take damage!” Ehther’s attack slams into Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, but the mighty dragon stands firm, however, Kazuto yelp as small beams ‘scratch’ him as he loses 100 life-points. Kuradeel then shouts out, with a dark smirk, “Now, Thestalos takes his turn!” Thestalos unleashes its powerful flames at Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss and the mighty dragon stands firm, but Kazuto gives a grunt as small flicks of flames lash out at him as he loses 100 more life-points. Kuradeel says, with an evil smile, “That’s enough from me and now, Snatcher returns to my hand!” Illusory Snatcher vanishes from the field and Kuradeel puts its card from his disk into his hand.

I draw until I have five cards in my hand, but in five turns, I lose my hand!” Kazuto draws five cards and he says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Dragon Buster Destruction Sword!” Dragon Buster Destruction Sword (400/300) then appears on the field in attack mode and Kazuto shouts out, “I tune Dragon Buster with Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss!” Dragon Buster turns into one star that turns into a ring that surrounds Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, turning him transparent, and when a new Synchro Monster card comes out of Kazuto’s Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing him to say, “Let the peaks roar, spirit the mountains and come forth, along with the flames of the earth! Synchro Summon!” Kazuto puts the new Synchro Monster card on his disk, and he yells out, “Meet Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane!” Out of the light, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane (3500/3000), a dark violet and red version of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss with massive blades coming out of its wrists, appears on the field in attack mode. Kuradeel snarls and Kazuto yells out, “Archfiend Bane, attack his Ehther! Great Summit Breaker!” Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane cleaves Ehther right in half and Kuradeel grunts out as Ehther is destroyed in a strong explosion causing Kuradeel to lose 200 life-points. Kazuto says, “Bane’s ability activates! When he inflicts battle damage to my opponent, I can summon one Tuner from my graveyard and one Tuner from my deck of the same level!” A card comes out of Kazuto’s graveyard slot and one comes out of his disk in which he says, putting them both on his disk, “I revive Synkron Resonator and bring out Attack Gainer from my deck!” Soon after, Synkron Resonator (100/100) and Attack Gainer (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kuradeel says, with a sneer, “Those weaklings won’t help you against my Monarchs!”

 

Kazuto says, putting one card into the main slot, “They will! First, I activate my Trap Booster spell! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Kazuto discards one card from his hand and puts another card from his hand into the main slot of his disk causing him to say, “I activate Urgent Tuning! Now, I can Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase! Now, I Double Tune Synkron Resonator and Attack Gainer with Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane!”

 

Kuradeel yells out, shocked, “You can’t do that!” Synkron Resonator and Attack Gainer turn into flaming rings that surround Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane, turning it transparent, and when a new Synchro Monster card comes out of Kazuto’s Extra Deck, a bright crimson column of light appears on the field.

 

Kazuto shouts out, “Aloof, absolute god of destruction! Descent from your sacred realm and bring about the end! Synchro Summon!” Kazuto puts the new Synchro Monster card on his disk, and he shouts out, “Descend, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity!” Out of the light, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500), a titanic black, dark silver, and red dragon with silvery-grey mane around his head, red jewel on his chest, and four powerful arms, appears on the field in attack mode. Kazuto says, “King Calamity’s ability activates! When he first comes to the field, you can’t activate card effects and all your card effects are negated in which you can’t use any card effects against this ability!”

 

Kuradeel says, with a dark snarl, “The Seal of Orichalcos isn’t easily defeated by your monster’s puny power!”

 

Kazuto says, “But the rest of your card effects are, and you can’t protect your monsters from card effects now! That includes my Attack Gainer’s ability! Now, one monster on your field loses one grand in attack power!” Thestalos roars out as it goes from 3300/1000 down to 2300/1000 causing Kuradeel to gasp in shock and Kazuto yells out, “This madness is over, Kuradeel! King Calamity give his Monarch a true ‘crowning’! Crimson Absolute Break!” Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity slams all fours of its fists, which are flaming, into the head of Thestalos causing it to be destroyed in a massive explosion in which Kuradeel roars as the shockwave sends him skidding backwards while he loses 1700 life-points.

 

Kuradeel says, with a dark sneer, “This isn’t over!”

 

Kazuto says, seriously, “It is!” Kuradeel gives a confused look and Kazuto says, “King Calamity, when it destroys in battle, inflicts its original attack points to you as damage!” Kuradeel gasps in shock and horror and Kazuto says, strongly, “And I know that my math is correct to say that this duel is over!”

 

Kuradeel screams out, flabbergasted, “NO, THIS CAN’T BE…HAPPENING!!!” King Calamity unleashes powerful meteors that slam into Kuradeel and he screams out in pain and agony as he is hit causing him to lose 2800 life-points as well as the duel.

Kuradeel: 0

 

With the end of the duel, Kuradeel collapses to his knees while the seal shrinks down causing the building to return to ‘normal’ in which the ‘bubble’ that Asuna was trapped in vanishes allowing her to land on the floor safely with Kazuto falling down on his right knee.

 

Asuna says, worriedly, “Kirito-kun!” Asuna runs over to Kazuto while Kuradeel’s ‘spirit’ is sealed away into the seal with his body turning into dust and ash leaving only his duel disk with deck and Asuna’s broach which gently falls to the floor.

 

Kazuto tells Asuna, “I’m okay.” Kazuto slowly gets back to his feet and they go over to Kuradeel’s remains where Asuna picks up her broach.

 

(At the Ruby Palace; on the meanwhile)

 

Within the Ruby Palace, the massive palace that dominates the top of Aincrad itself, we are inside where we see Yuuko sitting on the throne in the massive palace looking at the events of what happened in the duel between Kuradeel and Kazuto on a holographic screen.

 

Yuuko says, impassively, “He was a fool…but he proved useful in this regard. The Signer Dragons and their Duel Dragon counterparts.” Yuuko then looks at holographic pictures of Naruto, Suguha/Sailor Celestial, Serena/Sailor Moon, Sammy Tsukino, Heathcliff, who has an ‘X’ through his picture, and now, Kazuto’s picture.

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture

 

Back outside of Aincrad, we return to the three-way duel between Davis, Kite, and Sailor Moon and now, it is the ‘corrupted’ Sailor Moon’s turn.

 

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “It is my turn! I draw!” Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate my Soul Pendulum spell! With this card, I can lower or raise the scale of the Pendulum Monsters on my Pendulum Scale by one! I lower Stargazer’s scale by one and I increase Timegazer’s scale by one!” The number below Stargazer goes from 1 to 0 while the number below Timegazer goes up from 8 to 9 in which Sailor Moon says, with a dark strong tone as the crystal pendulum appears on the field, “Now, I can summon monsters that are levels one through eight this turn! Swing, Pendulum! Draw the light of arc to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Sailor Moon slaps four cards on her disk and she shouts out, “Dragon magicians of realms: Purple Poison Magician and Black Fang Magician! Brother of the duel-eyed phantasm dragon, Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon! And finally, the dark spirit totem of mischief: Performapal U Go Golem!” A circle of light appears on the field, four ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those lights are revealed to be Purple Poison Magician (1200/2100), a female magician dressed in clothing designed like Starve Venom Fusion Dragon, Black Fang Magician (1700/800), Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon (1200/2400), and Performapal U Go Golem (1600/1000), all of whom are in attack mode. Sailor Moon says, “Soul Pendulum’s effect now activates! Since a successful Pendulum Summon was performed, it gains a counter and for every counter this card has, all Pendulum monsters on the field gain three hundred attack points!” Purple Poison Magician goes from 1200/2100 to 1500/2100, Black Fang Magician goes from 1700/800 to 2000/800, Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon goes from 1200/2400 to 1500/2400, and U Go Golem goes from 1600/1000 to 1900/1000 in which Sailor Moon says, “Persona Dragon’s ability now activates! One Extra Deck monster has their abilities negated and I choose Stardust Dragon!” Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon fires a beam at Stardust Dragon causing it to roar as ‘sparkles’ from its wings stop.

 

Davis says, worriedly, “Stardust!”

 

Tai says, concerned, “That’s not good! Davis’ cards are not protected from destruction effects.”

 

Sailor Moon says, “Next, I Overlay Purple Poison and Black Fang Magicians to build the Overlay Network!” Both magicians turn into lights that goes into the ground while Sailor Moon puts the monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone of her disk while putting a new XYZ Monster card from her Extra Deck on her duel disk causing her to yell out, “I XYZ Summon Timestar Magician!” Out of the vortex, Timestar Magician (2400/1200), a human-like magician monster that looks blue-clad combination of Stargazer and Timegazer with him wielding Stargazer’s specter in his right hand and Timegazer’s ‘gantlet’ around his left wrist with two Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, in attack mode.

 

Sailor Jupiter says, amazed, “That’s new.”

 

Sailor Moon says, “And now, I activate U Go Golem’s ability! Since it was Pendulum Summoned, I can Fusion Summon with it along with a dragon monster that I control! I unite him with Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon!” U Go Golem then goes into a fusion vortex with Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon while Sailor Moon gets a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck causing her to say, when she puts it on her duel disk, “I Fusion Summon Performapal Gatling Ghoul!” Out of the fusion vortex, Performapal Gatlinghoul (2900/900), a gremlin-like monster wearing a tuxedo and top hat with a backpack connected to a mini-gun, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Yolei says, nervously, “Yipe! I wouldn’t want to meet that guy in a dark alley!”

 

Mimi says, with a nervous nod and tone, “No kidding, Yolei.”

 

Sailor Moon says, with a dark strong tone, “Gatling Ghoul’s ability now activates! When Fusion Summoned, he inflicts damage to my opponent equal to two hundred times the number of cards on the field!”

 

There are gasps of shock and Davis says, nervously, “Uh oh!”

 

Izzy says, “Sailor Moon has half-a-dozen cards and Davis has the same with this guy having two on the field! That means…!!”

 

Sailor Moon says, pointing to Kite, “That this worthless jerk is going to get hit with nearly three thousand points of damage right now!”

 

Tuxedo Mask shouts out, fearfully, “Serena, stop!”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, with a dark strong tone, “Fire!” Gatlinghoul unleashes a barrage at Kite and he roars out in pain as he is slammed by the barrage as it costs him 2800 life-points.

 

TK says, shocked, “Brutal!”

 

Sailor Moon says, “And now, Gatling Ghoul’s final ability allows him to destroy one monster on my opponent’s field and inflict that monster’s original attack points as damage since he was summoned using Pendulum Monsters as Fusion Material!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “That’s why she used Persona Dragon’s effect to negate Stardust Dragon’s effect!”

 

Tuxedo Mask yells out, worriedly, “Serena!!!”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, with a dark powerful tone, “This is the end!”

 

Gatlinghoul fires a barrage right at Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Kite says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Kite’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Kite says, “Thanks to this trap card, my Galaxy-Eyes can’t be destroyed by battle or card effects this turn!” Galaxy-Eyes produces a shield that protects it from Gatlinghoul’s assault and Kite says, “And since you didn’t destroy my Galaxy-Eyes, my life-points are safe!”

 

Sailor Moon says, with a dark sneer, “For now! I activate Timestar’s effect! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can add one Dark spellcaster monster from my deck to my hand!” Timestar absorbs one of its Overlay Unit and a card comes out of Sailor Moon’s deck where she adds the card into her hand. Sailor Moon says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I place two cards face-down and end my turn!”

Kite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Doesn’t mean that I can’t damage you! I activate my Galaxy Wave! While this card remains on the field, you get slammed with five hundred points of damage every time that I XYZ Summon!” Kite puts another card into the main slot of his disk causing him to say, “Then I activate my Galaxy Expedition! Since I have at least one high level Photon or Galaxy monster on my field, I can summon one from my deck in defense mode! And I choose Galaxy Knight!” A card comes out of Kite’s deck, he puts it on his disk, and Galaxy Knight (2800/2600) appears on the field in defense mode. Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Galaxy Wizard as well!” Just then Galaxy Wizard (0/1800) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, “Once per turn, my wizard can perform some magic and double its level until the end of the turn! And that means that I can now Overlay Galaxy-Eyes, Galaxy Knight, and Galaxy Wizard to build the Overlay Network!” All three monsters goes into a vortex in the sky as Kite puts the three monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone of his disk, puts an XYZ Monster card on top of them, and he shouts out, as he throws a ‘shuriken’ into the sky, “Witness the ultimate beast with a power that causes galaxy to quake from its fury! I XYZ Summon Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” Out of vortex, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (4500/3000) with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode. Kite says, “And now, thanks to Galaxy Wave, you get slammed with five hundred points of damage!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon sends a shockwave that slams into both Sailor Moon and Davis causing them to lose five hundred life-points each.

 

Tai says, “Damn! Since this is a three-way duel, Davis is his opponent and he gets hurt too!”

 

Matt says, “I don’t think he gives a damn, Tai! Davis is just collateral damage to him!”

 

Kite shouts out, “Neo Galaxy-Eyes’ ability activates! Since Galaxy-Eyes was used for his summoning, Neo Galaxy-Eyes negates the effects of all other cards on the field! Photon Howling!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes unleashes a powerful roar in which the other monsters on the field have their ‘colors’ dull.

 

Davis says, annoyed, “Damn it!”

 

Kite says, “And now, I activate Neo Galaxy-Eyes’ second effect! By removing an Overlay Unit, all XYZ monsters on the field lose all of their Overlay Units and Neo Galaxy-Eyes gains five hundred attack points for each one!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes absorbs one of its Overlay Unit and the Overlay Units of Masquerade, Timestar, and Dark Matter Dragon then float away from the two said monsters in which they are absorbed by Neo Galaxy-Eyes causing its stats to go up from 4500/3000 to 7000/3000 with Kite yelling out, “And now, I rebuild the Overlay Network with Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon! Go, Armor XYZ Evolution!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes then turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the sky where Kite puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck over Neo Galaxy-Eyes’ card on his disk causing Kite to yell out, “Meet Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon (4000/3500) with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode with Kite saying, “Since I XYZ Summoned, again, you suffer another five hundred points of damage!”

 

Davis says, with a growl, “Here we go again!” Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Dragon unleashes a powerful shockwave that slams into both Sailor Moon and Davis causing both of them to lose 500 life-points each.

 

Kite then says, strongly, “Now, I remove Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, one card on the field is destroyed!” Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Dragon absorbs one of its Overlay Units and Kite says, pointing to Masquerade, “And I choose Masquerade!” Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon aims its cannons at Masquerade and fires in which Masquerade is destroyed in a strong explosion in which Kite says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I place two cards face-down and end my turn!”

Davis says, drawing a card, “It is my turn! I draw!” Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: XYZ Reborn!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be XYZ Reborn trap card and Davis says, “I can revive one XYZ Monster from my graveyard and attach this card as an Overlay Unit! And I choose Leviathan Dragon!” Just then Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (2000/0) with one Water Overlay Unit orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And then I play my Fusion Substitute spell card! With it, I can fuse monsters that I control together, and I unite all five of my dragons!”

 

There are gasps of shock and Sailor Venus asks, “Hold up! Is he doing what I think he is doing?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “Yep.” All five dragons on Davis’ side of the field goes into a fusion vortex while Davis puts a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck on his duel disk.

 

Davis shouts out, “Meet one of the greatest dragons! The five-headed hydra of the elements: Five-Headed Dragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Five-Headed Dragon (5000/5000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “Not bad.”

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Then I play my face-down card: Stardust Flash!” Davis’ next face-down card is revealed to be the Stardust Flash trap card and Davis says, “This card allows me to revive one ‘Stardust’ monster! Take flight, again, Stardust Dragon!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) reappears on the field in attack mode.

 

Tai says, excitedly, “Awesome! Davis got his ace back!”

 

TK says, with a grin, “And with it, Stardust Dragon’s special abilities!”

 

Davis says, “Next, I use the effect of my Fusion Substitute! I remove it from play to return one Fusion Monster to my Extra Deck and draw an extra card!” A card comes out of Davis’ graveyard slot and ‘vanishes’ causing a beam of light to come out of his disk’s graveyard slot to go into his Extra Deck where Davis draws another card from his deck. Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play my XYZ Change Tactics spell! While this card remains on the field, when I XYZ Summon a Utopia monster, I get to draw one card as long as I lower my life-points by five hundred!”

 

Kite asks, surprised, “Utopia?!”

 

Matt says, curiously, “Sounds like he has heard of that kind of monster.”

 

Davis says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Glorious Numbers! I can revive one Number XYZ monster and then draw a card! So, return Dark Matter Dragon!” Just then Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon (4000/0) returns to the field in attack mode and Davis then draws a card from his deck in which he says, putting the card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate Hieratic Seal of Supremacy! I can summon one Hieratic monster from my hand, and I choose Hieratic Dragon of Nuit!” Davis puts one card on his disk and Hieratic Dragon of Nuit (1700/900), a deep blue humanoid dragon with golden armor, appears on the field in attack mode with Davis saying, as he puts another card on his disk, “Then I play Heliosphere Dragon as well!” Just then Heliosphere Dragon (0/1900) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “Two level four monsters, huh? I get it!”

 

Davis says, “And now, I Overlay Nuit with Heliosphere Dragon to build the Overlay Network!” Both said monsters turn into lights that turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Davis puts their monster cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk where a new XYZ Monster card appears over them in which Davis says, “Now, appear, Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Double!” Out of the vortex, Number 39: Utopia Double (0/2500), a glowing version of Number 39: Utopia with two Light Overlay Units attached to him, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, surprised, “A new Utopia?!”

 

Davis says, “I activate my XYZ Change Tactics’ effect! By lowering my life-points by five hundred, when I summon a Utopia monster, I draw a card!” Davis’ life-points drop by 500 points and Davis draws one card from his deck causing Davis to say, “Then Utopia Double’s effect! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can get a certain spell card from my deck and then I XYZ Summon another Utopia monster from my Extra Deck using Utopia Double!” Utopia Double absorbs one of its Overlay Units and Davis takes a card that comes out of his disk in which he yells out, “And now, I rebuild the Overlay Network with Utopia Double! Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution!” Utopia Double turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the ground while a new XYZ Monster card appears over Utopia Double’s card on Davis’ disk causing him to shout out, “Come on out, Chaos Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Ray!” Out of the vortex, Number C39: Utopia Ray (2500/2000) with two Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, strongly, “Since he was summoned by Utopia Double, it is double trouble since his attack points are doubled!” Utopia Ray then glows as it goes from 2500/2000 to 5000/2000 due to Utopia Double’s effect.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “I get it now.”

 

Davis shouts out, “Next, I use my XYZ Change Tactics and use it to draw one more card by dropping another five hundred points!” Davis draws a card as his life-points drop by another 500 points and after he looks at the card, he yells out, strongly, “Once again, I rebuild the Overlay Network, but this time, I use Utopia Ray! Go, Shining XYZ Evolution!”

 

As Utopia Ray turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex on the ground, Kite thinks in his mind, surprised, “What?!”

 

As a new XYZ Monster card appears over Utopia Ray’s card, Davis shouts out, “Shining Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia the Lightning, come on down!” Out of the vortex, Number S39: Utopia the Lightning (2500/2000), an ‘enhanced’ version of Utopia with massive armored shoulder pads with swords inside of them and with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode with Davis saying, “I use XYZ Change Tactics’ effect once again!” Davis’ life-points drop by 500 more points and Davis draws one more card in which Davis says, “Utopia the Lightning, attack Timestar Magician now!” Utopia the Lightning moves in to attack Timestar Magician and Davis says, “Utopia the Lightning’s effect activates! When he battles an opponent’s monster and he have a Utopia monster an Overlay Unit, I can remove two Overlay Unit to double his attack points!” Utopia the Lightning absorbs two of its Overlay Units and it goes from 2500/2000 to 5000/2000 in which Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Shrink spell and cut your Timestar’s power in half!” Timestar Magician seems to shrink as it goes from 2400/1200 down to 1200/1200.

 

Sailor Moon yells out, with a dark strong tone as she prepares to push a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap…!!”

Davis shouts out, strongly, “Utopia the Lightning makes you unable to activate any spell or trap card until the end of the battle!” Sailor Moon gasps out as Utopia the Lightning cuts down Timestar Magician and Sailor Moon screams out as she is sent skidding backwards from the explosion caused by Timestar’s destruction in which she collapses face-down on the ground as she loses 3800 life-points, ending the duel for her.

 

Tuxedo Mask yells out, concerned, “Serena!”

 

But before Tuxedo Mask could rush over to Sailor Moon, Sailor Neptune holds him back and Sailor Pluto says, “Not yet, Tuxedo Mask! The duel isn’t over yet!”

 

Davis says, “It will be soon enough! Five-Headed Dragon, take out his Galaxy-Eyes!”

 

As Five-Headed Dragon unleashes its attack on Galaxy-Eyes, Kite says, pushing a button on his disk, “I think not! I activate my trap: Photon Current!” Kite’s face-down card is revealed to be the Photon Current trap card in which Kite says, “Since you attacked my Light attribute Dragon monster, it gains attack points equal to the attack points of the monster that’s attacking it, so, this means that your dragon’s power becomes mine!”

 

Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Major wrong, pal! I activate my final trap: Trap Jammer!” Davis’ final face-down card is revealed to be the Trap Jammer counter-trap card and Davis says, “When you play a trap card during the Battle Phase, this card negates that trap!” Kite’s eyes widen as his trap card is negated and destroyed while Five-Headed Dragon’s attack slams into Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Dragon causing a massive explosion in which Kite skids back from the shockwave of his dragon’s destruction as he loses 1000 life-points. Davis shouts out, “Stardust, direct attack and end this duel! Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes his attack right at Kite and it slams into him with terrific force in which he looks at Davis where he sees another person in place of our Digidestined of Miracles and Life.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “Looks like I found this world’s version of you and Astral, Yuma.” Kite roars out as he is sent flying as he loses 2500 life-points and with that, the duel.

 

Final Scores:

Davis: 1500

Sailor Moon: 0

Kite: 0

 

With the end of the duel, the Real Solid Vision ‘images’ vanish with Davis’ deck glowing in unison with Sailor Moon’s deck and Kite’s deck along with the crystal pendulum while two cards come out of Sailor Moon’s duel disk where they fly over to Davis’ hand where he looks to see that they are Number 104: Masquerade (2700/1200) and Number C104: Umber Horror Masquerade (3000/1500) XYZ Monster cards in which the two cards create a dark red and black aura that starts to ‘crawl’ up Davis’ hand and arm.

 

Sailor Sun yells out, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Tai shouts out, concerned, “Let go of those cards, Davis!”

 

Veemon says, worriedly, “Davis!”

 

Davis grunts out in pain, but his sun sigil appears on his head and he groans out, “Don’t worry…I’ve got this…!!” Davis growls out as his body is enveloped in a golden glow where Sailor Sun’s broach starts to glow in response to that glow where Davis’ ‘glow’ is forcing the ‘dark aura’ from the two cards to be forced back.

 

Kotone asks, curiously, “What’s happening?”

 

Sailor Mars says, “Davis is using his own power and will to suppress the dark power from those cards!” On the meanwhile, Tuxedo Mask goes over to the fallen Sailor Moon while Kite struggles back to his feet in which he looks at this site in amazement.

 

Kite thinks in his mind, “I don’t believe it! He is suppressing the power of Don Thousand’s cards!” With a loud yell, Davis throws the cards to Kite and Kite uses his abilities to seal the cards away. With that done, Davis then falls to one knee and breathes heavily as Sailor Sun, Veemon, and Ken along with others goes over to him.

 

Sailor Sun asks, “Are you okay?”

 

Veemon asks Davis, “Does anything hurt?”

 

Davis retorts, sarcastically, “Everything, but my earlobes, Veemon.”

 

TK says, with a sly smile, “He’s just fine.”

 

Davis looks towards Kite and he asks, annoyed, “Satisfied?”

 

Kite doesn’t say a word at first and he then says, “Don’t expect me to thank you. I will complete my job and get rid of those cards. And no one will stand in my way.” Kite then turns away and walks off into the distance.

 

Tai asks, annoyed, “What’s his problem?”

 

Matt says, “We don’t have time to worry about him, Tai.”

 

With the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Saturn asks, concerned, “Is she okay?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “I think so, Firefly. Those cards’ ‘influence’ has been cleansed from her.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, “But something tells me that she is going to have one heck of a headache.”

 

Sammy asks, plainly, “But what about the others?”

 

Sailor Nebula says, “There is one place that we can go.”

 

Sailor Neptune says, with a nod, “Agreed. And that’s Aincrad.” Everyone then looks towards the revived floating castle in the sky and plenty of them give stern looks, knowing what’s to come.

 

May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto Prefecture, Aincrad

 

Back within said castle, we are on the final floor and inside of the only building on the top of Aincrad, the Ruby Palace, where Yuuko is watching what happened in the three-way duel between Davis, Kite, and Sailor Moon as Heartland comes over to her.

 

Yuuko says, plainly, “That was unexpected.”

 

Heartland says, “Yes, my lady. I agree.” Heartland asks, looking at Davis on the screen, “Who is this kid? How come he has Number cards?”

 

Yuuko says, “Maybe ‘Numbers’ aren’t only part of your world.”

 

Heartland asks, “How can that be?” Just then a thought comes to Heartland’s mind and he asks, nervously, “Wait! Could it mean…?”

 

Yuuko says, “Maybe. Maybe not.” Yuuko asks, “Are they ready?”

 

Heartland says, with an evil smile, “Yes, your ladyship. It is going to be quite a surprise.” Heartland says, “The power of that card…”

 

Yuuko interrupts Heartland by saying, “It isn’t just a card. It is much like the Egyptian Gods, Sacred Beasts, Aesir, Earthbound Immortals, and the Signer Dragons as well as their counterparts, but so much more powerful.”

 

Heartland says, with a nod, “Indeed, your ladyship.”

 

Yuuko says, “Good.”

 

(Elsewhere; on the meanwhile)

 

With Sailor Orion, she is with Rika, Keiko, and Hiyori, all of whom are dressed and armed like their SAO avatars, are walking at the edge of the Town of Beginnings on the first floor of Aincrad.

 

Sailor Orion asks them, “Are you okay?”

 

Hiyori says, plainly, “Yes.”

 

Rika tells Hiyori, “We know how you are feeling right now, Hiyori.”

 

Keiko says, with a nod, “We’ve been through this too.”

Hiyori tells Keiko and Rika, with a warm smile, “I know.”

 

Rika says, “Anyway, we should find the others…”

 

Sailor Orion says, pointing ahead of her, “That’s going to need to wait. We’ve got company coming.” The others with Sailor Orion look towards where she is pointing, but they can’t see anything.

 

Keiko says, curiously, “I don’t see anything.”

 

Hiyori asks Sailor Orion, “Are you sure?”

 

Sailor Orion says, with a nod, “Yes.”

 

Rika says, with a slight nervous yet serious expression, “Then we had better get ready for trouble.” Just then they see a small trail of dust rising into the air with the dust trail getting closer and closer to them and when we get closer to that dust trail, we find that at the end of it, there is a familiar looking FORMER ‘fairy king’ flying towards them with a twisted evil smile on his handsome features…

This has been the longest arc in this whole story series so far, but I hope that it isn’t any less exciting as the previous ones and maybe even more exciting.
