Inuyasha: Keh! I’m happy that that wolf likes Cynthia better than Kagome.

Kouga: *blushes* I DO NOT! KAGOME IS MY WOMAN!

Turtlequeen2: And why are you happier Inuyasha? Is it because you love Kagome yourself?

Inuyasha: *blushes red like his haori* N…no…the wolf just gets on my nerves.

Turtlequeen2: You just better be glad that Kagome didn’t hear that or you’d get osuwaried into Hell.

Inuyasha: O.O

Last time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

******Kouga’s POV******

After I went outside, Inu-koro looks at and asks,” How is she?”

“I don’t know,” I say sadly.

He smirks and says,” So you like her eh?”

“What the hell do you mean by that Mutt?!”

“Well you try to protect her instead of Kagome now.”

“That doesn’t mean anything. The woman always gets herself into trouble.”

“Keh! Whatever wolf,” he says, rolling his eyes. I run off, muttering that I need to think for a while. I realize what he says is right. Do I like Cynthia more than Kagome? Should I move on to Cynthia and leave Kagome to Inuyasha? I know he loves her, but doesn’t show it.

I worry about her constantly and I find that protecting her is my obligation. I don’t even mind doing it. It seems as if it’s my job. Do I care for her because I love her?

This time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

Chapter 8

Cynthia’s Recovery, Sesshomaru’s Arrival, and Kouga’s Realization

******Normal Cynthia POV******

I woke up in Kaede’s hut. I still felt very weak from the last youkai’s attack. I open my eyes to see Kouga staring at me caringly.

“K…Kouga,” I ask groggily. He smiled gently to see that I was awake.

“Hey Cynthia. How are you feeling? You were out for two days,” Kouga said quietly.

“Where’s everybody else?”

“They’re at another village getting another Shikon-no-Kakara and that old miko is out in the village. Ginta and Hakkaku are hanging out with that kitsune and that weird cat thing. We are all alone here.”

“Why do you want to stay with me? I thought Kagome was your woman.”

“I guess she still is,” he said with uncertainty,” but I felt guilty that I couldn’t protect you.”

“Oh, well thanks for watching over me. I really appreciate it. It wasn’t your fault at all so don’t think that Kouga.” He sighed, but nodded his head. I started to sit up, but he pushed me back down.

“You’re still human. You need to rest more.”

“I don’t need to rest. I feel pretty good.”

“You’re still in no condition to battle.”

“I don’t exactly want to sleep because of these bad dreams I keep having. Like you would care right?” I said that last part because he’s demon and because he loves Kagome.

He takes hold of my hands and looks me the eyes, causing me to blush. “I care about you. I waited for you to wake up for the last few days. If I didn’t care, I wouldn’t have came in the first place.” He blushed a little at that last because I think he didn’t mean to say that much.

“You’re a great friend Kouga. Wait...you came because of me?”

“Well, that and the Silver Crystal. I thought you could use some help in finding it.” Without knowing what I was doing, I wrapped my arms around him. He surprised me by hugging back. He was to say something when Miroku ruined the moment like he always does.

“Its nice to know that you are awake Cynthia-sama. I’m sorry, was I interrupting something,” the hentai monk asks.

We jump far apart from each other blushing like fire. “No you hentai! Quit thinking those thoughts,” I shout. Miroku, in turn grins smugly and walks out.

Kagome walks in soon after and says,” Are you feeling ok Cynthia? We were all so worried about you.”

“I’m feeling better. Thanks for caring Kagome-chan. So where’s everyone else? Also remind Sango to smack Miroku later,” I say.

“They are all outside of the hut. What’d he do now?”

“He thought that…that…”

Kouga jumped in saying,” Um, it was nothing. The monk just said some stuff. If the tajiya doesn’t take care of him, I will.” Kagome broke out into laughter. Kouga smirked.

“Can you tell them to all to come in? I want to see all of my friends,” I ask. Kagome and proceeded to tell the rest of them that I awoke. One by one they came in say their greetings to me.

“I’m happy that you’ve finally awoken. We were all very afraid for you. Kouga was waiting all night and day for you to wake up,” Sango said. She smiled and held my as a friendly gesture. I tried to sit up and this time my attempt was successful.

“Thank you Sango-chan. You’re a caring friend,” I said back with a smile on my face. Before she walked out, however, I said,” Would you smack that hentai for me?”

She smirks with a evil gleam in her eyes, saying,” Gladly.” Outside I hear random smacks and then Miroku walking in with a few handprints on his face. Kouga and me started to laugh at him. The monk sighed and rubbed his face.

Inuyasha walked in with concerned looking eyes, but if you didn’t see his eyes, you might’ve thought that he was just smirking.

“So you finally woke up,” he questioned. “The only good thing out of this is that the wolf decided to stay to watch over you so I didn’t have to put up with him.” I glare at him, but sighed when Kouga jumped in.

“What do you mean ‘didn’t have to put up with me’?!”

Inuyasha just walked out, but Kouga followed him to get an explanation. I hear more fighting and the draw of Tetsusaiga and the usual shout of,” OSUWARI,” by Kagome.

“I see that some things here didn’t change,” I sigh, rubbing my temples for an oncoming headache.

“Nope. Bakas,” Shippo muttered, who was now in the hut. I laughed at his cuteness. He handed me a drawing that he made. “This is what happened when we fought that youkai,” he explained while sitting on my lap.

I smiled and said,” Thanks Shippo.” He nodded back. It had a picture of a tiger youkai. “How many shards did you guys get?”

“Two I think.”

Kaede then walked in with Sango. “I see ye are awake child,“ Kaede acknowledged.

“Hai,” I replied. She then ushered Shippo and Miroku out of the hut so they could reapply my bandages. After they were done, I feel asleep thinking of the hug Kouga returned to me.

******Kouga’s POV******

After that mutt got osuwaried - I think that’s what it’s called - by Kagome, I decided to go think about that hug Cynthia gave me. I never felt that flustered with Kagome. I wonder what that means? When I hugged her back, it felt so right - like we belonged like that.

I was so shocked that she would hug me outright. I wish they didn’t return so soon, then we could’ve have talked more. Remind me to ask her about the dreams she’s been having because I keep having those weird dreams of a Princess Serenity.” At least that that monk came in when he did because I would’ve told her more things I didn’t want her know yet or worse - kissed her. I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard Kagome’s scream. I ran there to find an older mutt, fighting Inu-koro. I was guessing that he was the Mutt-face’s older brother, but he was full demon unlike Inu-koro. I remember seeing him once before.

I saw Ginta and Hakkaku huddle with the kitsune and it made me scowl at the taiyoukai. He seemed to catch my presence and looked at me in an emotionless glance.

“What the hell are you doing here,” I demanded.

“I’m here to see your wench, Sailor Moon, I think her name is,” he responded calmly.

“Why the hell do you need to see her for?!”

“I wish to find out information on this ‘moon child,’ as all the demons call her. They also mention an Imperial Silver Crystal.”

“Why the hell do you care Sesshomaru,” demanded Mutt-Face.

“I do not have to explain my actions to half-breeds such as yourself.”

“What makes you think we’ll just tell you the information?”

“If you do not, I will have to kill you all.”

“Keh! Don’t make me laugh bastard,” Inu-koro shouts, bringing down his sword and shouting,” KAZE NO KIZU!” Yellow streaks I’ve seen so many times, comes out of it and fly towards the lord. He quickly jumps out of the way.

Suddenly I catch Sailor Moon’s familiar scent of inhuman sweet moonflowers. “STOP,” she shouts.

The elder mutt stops and looks to her in a smirk. “So you are not truly human?”

******Normal Cynthia POV******

I was lying there when I heard commotion outside. Luna then proceeds to run in, shouting,” A youkai named Sesshomaru is demanding to see you or he will kill our allies.” I gape at her.

I slowly rise to my feet and transform so Sesshomaru won’t know my true identity. “MOON PRISM POWER, MAKE UP!”

I walk outside to see that Inuyasha already was in the process of using the Wind Scar and the taiyoukai barely dodges it. I shout,” STOP,” so I would get his attention.

He stopped in sidetrack and turned to smirk at me. “So you are not truly human?”

I shake my head ’no.’

“What’s so special about you? You seem powerful, but are not aware of it. What of the Silver Crystal,” Sesshomaru asked.

“I don’t know if I should tell you, since you and my friends are not getting along at the best of terms. How do I know you will keep this secret from Naraku? You know this would be very essential to him even if I hadn’t met the demon yet.”

“So you are after Naraku as well. You have my word that I will not tell anyone. I merely wish to find some answers to my questions.”

“Why do you want to know so badly?”

“Being a lord, I need to know all that’s around me,” he says simply. I nod in understanding.

“Very well then, Sesshomaru-sama. I trust that now you will not harm my friends?” He nods at me then I sit down, gesturing that he does the same. I see Inuyasha and the others gaping.

Putting Tetsusaiga away, Inuyasha sits across from Sesshomaru, glaring at him. “You better not try anything or Tetsusaiga’s going up your ass!” The others rolled their eyes and Kouga sat beside me in a protective manner.

“As much as I would like to quarrel with you, dear little brother, I do find that this is more important,” Sesshomaru replies with a faint look of amusement crossing over his features. Inuyasha growled back.

‘So you have heard of the Silver crystal,” Miroku asks.

“I have heard some things. It is supposed to be of great power that rivals the Shikon-no-Tama. I wish to know more from the ‘moon child’ who is searching for it. I believe that‘s the same reason the wolf now travels with you, Inuyasha,” the taiyoukai explains.

“Keh! If you ask me, I think its because he loves Sailor Moon,” the hanyou blurted. This made me blush and when I glanced at Kouga he was lightly blushing as well. Could he possibly love me? Does he feel the same as I do for him? My thoughts were interrupted when Kouga and Inuyasha started bickering and Sesshomaru started to crack his knuckles out of frustration.

“SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU GIVE IT A REST,” I shouted, finally tired of them fighting. Kouga and Inuyasha instantly shut up. “Much better,” I say more pleasantly. Luna, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo looked relieved.

Sesshomaru had a look in his eyes like he was saying,’ Thank you.’ I started to explain all I knew about it, leaving out the parts about my true identity of course. He started to catch on easily and after a few hours we stood up again.

“Thank you for your help. I hope to meet again,” Sesshomaru says and turns his back to leave.

Inuyasha scoffs,” Hey I thought that you don’t give thanks to ‘weak humans’?”

“If you didn’t notice half-breed, this, Sailor Moon is not of human or youkai species. Therefore she deserves my thanks.” I blush slightly at that remark and I swore I heard Kouga growl. Sesshomaru walked off as if he was never here at all. He left behind a group of confused people.

“Kouga, why are you growling,” I ask timidly. He notices this and blushes a little. I smile back at him.

“Uh…I um…don’t trust him…is all,” he said stumbling over his words. Inuyasha rolled his eyes and Kagome looked like she thought it was cute.

“I see…” I respond. I detransform and say I want to take a moment to think.

******Kouga’s POV******

I see Cynthia walk off, seeming sad about something I must have said.

Kagome sees me look after her retreating and whispers,” Go after her.” I nod and follow behind Cynthia. The real reason I growled was out of jealousy, but I would never dare admit that in front of the rest of them. I finally realize that I do love her and Kagome’s reassuring push, made it seem like it was ok to move on from her to Cynthia. Now all I have to do now is find her, tell her, and hope she feels the same about me.

I finally find her, sighing heavily and mumbling to herself. I hide in the trees and try to listen to her words.

“I wonder what Kouga thinks of me? I feel like when I’m near him, I feel safe and protected. Maybe I do love him, but I can’t tell him that. He loves Kagome.” I was beyond shocked. She loved me? I had to find out for sure, so I jumped down from my perch and landed in front of her, making her scream in surprise.

“Kouga, don’t sneak up on me like that,” she huffed. After she caught her breath, I sat down next to her.

“So you want to know what I think of you,” I ask calmly.

“Y…you heard,” she asked blushing. I nod and she starts mumbling,” I’m sorry Kouga. I know that you still love Kagome. I’ll understand if you don’t want to be around me no more-” I cut her off by putting one of my fingers over her lips. She blushed at my antics.

“Don’t be stupid Cynthia. I always want to be around you. If you want to know the truth, I also realized that I…love…you.” She had a surprised look.

“You really mean that? What about Kagome?”

“Yes I do. What about her? She loves Mutt-face anyways so I’ll let him have her. In truth, she’s the one that told me to come see you.”

Kouga I love-” I cut her off by pressing my lips to hers in a light kiss. She puts her arms around me and I start to nibble on her lower lip. She moans my name and I seek entrance with my tongue and she allows it. After running out of breath we pull away. She sighs and leans her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arm around her.

“I know you love me, but I just wanted to make sure.” I feel her nod her head. I kiss the top the top of her head and we sit there watching the sunset over the horizon.

After a while, she asks,” Shouldn’t we go back? They are probably worried about us.”

“Let them worry. I see no reason for us to not spend a little more time together.” She sighs against me in contentment. I smile, finally finding a woman to call mine without any resentment.

Hehehehe….awwww…isn’t that cute? Sorry if Kouga seems a lil OOC but that’s only because of his love for Cynthia. As much as I can, I’ll keep his character as one you know and love from Inuyasha. NO FLAMING, IT HAD TO BE DONE!

In the next chapter, the Inu-Tachi finds out about Cynthia and Kouga’s love. Then Sailor Moon meets Naraku for the first time…what the hell will happen?! Read and find out next time on PRINCESS CYNTHIA AND PRINCE KOUGA!!!
