Last time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

I woke up shouting,” PRINCESS SERENITY!” Ginta and Hakkaku immediately run into my den.

“Is something wrong Kouga,” Ginta asks. I shake my head no and tell them it was only a dream.

“What the hell was that all about,” I mutter to myself after they leave. That guy couldn’t possibly be me. I hold my head in my hands and can’t help but hope that that was only just a dream.

This time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

Chapter 7

Kouga Protects Sailor Moon

******Kouga’s POV******

Today I’ve decided to go see Cynthia again. I think that I’d be able to help her find the Silver Crystal. I feel obligated for some reason to help her out. I’m guessing that Inu-Koro knows too because he’s her ‘ally.’

I run fast to their village, to find all of them looking at me when I stop. I guess it was because of Kagome’s shard sensing ability.

Mutt-face decided to make the greeting official,” What the hell are you doing here wolf?!”

******Normal Cynthia POV******

I was surprised to see Kouga because according to Kagome, he doesn’t come around often. Now it seems that he comes around all the time. Ginta and Hakkaku, along with a few of his wolves, followed behind.

“Finally you stopped Kouga,” Hakkaku said, out of breath. Ginta was trying to catch his breath along with the other ookami-youkai.

“It’s not my fault, you’re too slow,” Kouga bellowed out.

“It’s nice to see you again Kouga-kun,” Kagome politely said. This made Inuyasha growl.

“Hey Kagome, Mutt,” Kouga said. He suddenly appeared in front of Kagome and held his hands in hers. This caused her to blush a little, making Inuyasha furious. “Kagome, I wish to help you and your friends search and recover the silver crystal. Cynthia told me all about it and I thought it would be best to help out.”

“Uh, well…this is unexpected,” Kagome stuttered.

“WHAT?! There’s no way in hell that you’re traveling with us,” Inuyasha shouts.

“I wasn’t asking you Inu-koro. I was asking my woman,” Kouga shouted back. Kagome sweat-dropped.

“Um…I don’t know. It’s not just my decision,” she said.

Miroku stepped in, saying,” I’m sure that we wouldn’t mind Kouga.” Sango nodded in agreement.

“I’d appreciate your help Kouga. We need all the help we can get, when it comes to finding the Silver Crystal,” I said. He smiled back at me.

Inuyasha interrupted and yelled,” HELL NO!”

Kagome glared at him for his rudeness. “Kouga-kun, you can stay with us since everyone else wants you to.”

Kouga smirks at Inuyasha, which makes the hanyou growl back. They were interrupted by a dragon youkai who demanded jewel shards.

“Inuyasha, the dragon has three shards on its back,” says Kagome.

Inuyasha pulls Tetsusaiga out of its sheath and shouts,” You’re time’s about up. KAZE NO KIZU!” He slams down Tetsusaiga to the ground and out comes many streaks of gold light, which hit the youkai head on. I take this opportunity to transform.

I jump down and throw my tiara at the youkai, shouting,” MOON TIARA MAGIC!” It took one of its arms and swiped it away. It landed by me in its dull form.

It laughed at me and breathed fire in my direction. I was frozen on the spot and looked on in horror. I screamed the first thing that came to mind,” KOUGA!”

He ran at super speed in my direction shouting back,” SAILOR MOON!” He picked me up in his arms and jumped away from the attack.

“Thanks Kouga,” I say as he drops me. He nods and runs in to attack the dragon. He punches it hard, sending it to hit the ground.

It flaps it wings and starts to fly when out of nowhere comes the boomerang bone and the shout,” HIRAIKOTSU!” Hiraikotsu slices through one of its wings, sending it towards the ground. Sango and Kirara lands.

“Damn you demon slayer,” It shouts in agony. The youkai spits out fire at Sango, making Miroku come by and push her aside. This knocks Miroku out as he hit’s the ground.

“HOUSHI-SAMA,” Sango shouts, crawling toward his body. Kirara picks him up to move him to safer ground. Inuyasha and Kouga, meanwhile are using their own attacks on it.

I run over to Kagome with a plan. “Kagome I have an idea.” She nods for me to continue on.

“Why don’t we combine out powers. Shoot one of your arrows and I can combine it with the power of my tiara.” She agrees to try it and we ready ourselves.

After the dragon knocks Inuyasha and Kouga away, Kagome knocks one of her arrows and aims it.

“We fire when I say now,” Kagome shouts. I nod. After a few seconds she shouts,” NOW!”

I shout,” MOON TIARA MAGIC!” My tiara glows overhead of the purification light of the arrow. The lights combine to form a red light. The dragon looks at the attack in horror and knows it’s futile.

“If I die, then I’ll take you wenches with me,” it shouts. Before it turns to dust, it dislodges a giant claw aimed at us.

Inuyasha runs and catches Kagome. Kouga moves to come save me, when out of nowhere, a second claw from the deceased dragon youkai pierces through my back.

I drop to the ground and let the darkness surround me. Before I fade I feel arms around me and hear Kouga shout my name.

******Kouga’s POV******

I was knocked away by that bastard youkai when out of nowhere comes one of Kagome’s arrows and Sailor Moon’s tiara. Their powers combined and hit the youkai dead on. It blew away as dust, leaving the shards. Before it died, it dislodged one if its claws. I saw it flying at Sailor Moon and jumped in to save her from the claw. Unnoticed by none of us, the dragon had actually dislodged two claws. The first one was only a distraction!

Inu-koro saved Kagome and before I could grab Cynthia, the second claw pierced through her back. She dropped to her knees. Before she passed out, I caught her in my arms and held her close, shouting,” SAILOR MOON!”

“THAT BASTARD,” I growl out in anger. I pick her unconscious form up and run to the hut where the group usually stays. She retransformed in my arms because of her weakened state. ‘Please don’t let her die,’ I think. It seemed like déjà vu. Kagome and the kitsune were crying. The tajiya and the monk looked worried. Hell, even Mutt-face looked sorry for her.

This old miko runs into the hut and sees Cynthia’s body. She demands,” What happened?”

“A dragon-youkai’s claw went through her back.” That weird cat creature runs in with a worried face and runs up to Cynthia.

“This does not bides well,” the old woman murmurs.

“I know it doesn’t old woman! Is there anything we can do,” I snap. She looks at me with a flash of annoyance and then looks at Cynthia’s wounds.

“She is very fortunate. It missed major organs,” Kaede said in thought. She sent for the tajiya and Kagome to assist her. She sent me out so they could undress her.

After I went outside, Inu-koro looks at and asks,” How is she?”

“I don’t know,” I say sadly.

He smirks and says,” So you like her eh?”

“What the hell do you mean by that Mutt?!”

“Well you try to protect her instead of Kagome now.”

“That doesn’t mean anything. The woman always gets herself into trouble.”

“Keh! Whatever wolf,” he says, rolling his eyes. I run off, muttering that I need to think for a while. I realize what he says is right. Do I like Cynthia more than Kagome? Should I move on to Cynthia and leave Kagome to Inuyasha? I know he loves her, but doesn’t show it.

I worry about her constantly and I find that protecting her is my obligation. I don’t even mind doing it. It seems as if it’s my job. Do I care for her because I love her?

What the hell is going to happen to Cynthia? What will Kouga do? Is Inuyasha right? Will I ever stop asking all of these annoying questions? (Probably not)
