Chapter 14: Recognition and Determination

Right now, we are with our former Signers in which Yusei, Akiza, Leo, Luna, Jack, and Crow are ‘enjoying a day on the town’ in which Luna and Leo are slowly walking around.

Leo says, “It’s finally awesome to walk around!”

Akiza tells Leo, “Well, you need to take it easy, Leo. You just got off your crutches a while ago.”

Leo tells Akiza, “We’re just fine, Akiza.”

Jack says, “You spend two years in a bed with your mind trapped in a game with that thing over your heads threatening to fry your brain if you lose in that game, so, we’re going to determine if you are fine or not, Leo.”

Crow says, “Geez, Jack.”

Yusei then stops in his tracks and Akiza asks, “What is Yusei?”

Yusei responds, “We’re not alone.” Yusei looks in one area and when the others look, Kasumi comes out of the shadows to face them.

Jack asks, “Who the heck are you?”

Kasumi responds, “My name is Kasumi. I’m here as a favor to Ryu Hayabusa of the Hayabusa ninja clan.”

Leo asks, amazed, “Ninjas?”

Crow asks, “So, what does this guy want with us?”

Kasumi responds, “The new generation of Signers needs guidance for its predecessors.”

There are gasps and Jack asks, “What did you just say?”

Kasumi tells Jack, “Jack Atlas-dono, you and the others worst fears have been confirmed. A new generation of Dark Signers has come and they walk the Earth.”

There are more gasps and Luna asks, shocked, “New Dark Signers?”

Kasumi says, with a nod, “Yes, four new Signers have joined the chosen Star Dragon King, the new warrior welding the power of the Crimson Dragon’s head, welding the powers of the front claw, the black claw, the wings, and the tail of the Crimson Dragon.”

Yusei says, “I see, Kasumi-san. I’m guessing that our history is mainly repeating itself.”

Kasumi says, with a nod, “Yes, Yusei-san. I will inform you on the way, but the new Signers need your guidance.”

Jack says, “From the way that you are sounding, they need a good old fashion kick in the pants to get them started.” Jack tells Kasumi, “Just lead the way and we’ll take care of the rest.”

Kasumi says, with a bow, “Thank you, Atlas-dono.”

Jack responds, with a scoff, “It’s nothing and personally, I don’t want my successor as a Signer to end up a weakling. I’m the World Turbo Dueling master of faster here was and still is part of the best team of duelists in the universe in which our successors have to be the best of the best and I want them kicking Dark Signer ass.”

Kasumi gives a surprised look and Crow says, with a nervous smile, “That’s Jack’s way of saying that he’ll be happy to help… I think.”

Yusei asks Kasumi, “So, who are the other Signers other than Davis-san?”

Kasumi says, with a sigh, “That’s a… long story, Yusei-san.”

Jack says, “Something tells me that we have plenty of time before we get to this Hayabusa Village that you spoke about.” Kasumi sighs and as the group heads off, Kasumi starts to explain some things.

(Within Hayabusa Village; Later on)

Inside of Hayabusa Village, Mina and Lita are going into plenty of basic training to harness their chakra and help their bodies to build up all sorts of ‘strength’ in which despite being in better condition than the rest of the SAO survivors due to their special powers and all with Ino in attendance.

Lita says, “Man! This stinks! I was one of the strongest of the Scouts when it came to raw power! ‘Monster strength Jupiter’ was my nickname, but now, the other girls are now WAY more powerful than me now!”

Ino tells Lita, “Well, Lita-chan, you have to remember that they had two years’ worth of training with our help. Thanks to Hinata, Trista has mastered her Byakugan perfectly through she only needed a few lessons.”

Mina says, “Well, Trista has been around for a few centuries despite her gorgeous body and looks in which centuries worth of knowledge does help one’s situations a bit.”

Lita says, “The girls really must have trained hard.”

Ino says, “By perfecting their ninja skills, they had hoped to find clues to find a way to get you out of there.”

Mina says, “We know, Ino. However, even though we have our new Legendium powers, we are still the weakest Scouts compared to even Sailor Moon.”

Lita says, “Trista believes that they have gained their own hyperbolic time chamber allowing her and Naruto to gain two years’ worth of training in two days.”

Ino says, “Well, I think that we are going to need that if we are going to match up to Forehead. Geez, her power was off the charts!”

Lita says, “And her training method was crazy! Not only did she used a place that gave her two years’ worth of training in two days, she trained in gravity that equal to one hundred times Earth’s gravity!”

Ino says, “Gravity seals are known, but they are rarely used at all! Not even Lee and Guy-sensei ever used them! They used weights instead!”

Lita says, “Well, Sakura is really determined to destroy Sasuke.”

Ino says, “Personally, it is kind of shocking to hear that from Sakura of all people. It makes me wonder if she isn’t doing this because of a broken heart in two lifetimes.”

Lita says, “It is possible that she is doing so, but Sakura doesn’t want to admit it. However, I think that the others are right that she is ‘overdoing it’ on her duty as a Sailor Senshi. It is part of it that this is partly due to ‘past experiences’ with Sasuke as his current self and his past self as Indra. It is also part of the reason that she considers ‘Sakura Haruno’ as a separate part of her.”

Ino says, “That’s bull! She IS Sakura Haruno!”

Mina says, with a nod, “And you’re right, Ino, but she needs to accept that.”

Lita says, “And I think that’s the trial that she needs to go through to become even stronger.”

Ino asks, “Even stronger?” Just then they hear someone coming towards them and they look to see Rika walking towards them.

Lita says, “Hey, Liz… I mean, Rika!”

Rika says, “This is the one of the few times that I’ve seen you out that fuku of yours, Lita.”

Mina asks, “How is our black swordsman doing?”

Rika says, with a sigh, “Suffering from a nasty shock.”

Ino says, “Not surprising since the ‘demons’ of his past in SAO is coming back to haunt him.”

Lita asks, “Do you know anything?”

Rika says, with a nod, “Asuna told me since Kirito… Kazuto told her after she helped save him from the KOB guild member that went rogue and to Laughing Coffin no less.”

Ino asks, “Did he give you permission to share?”

Rika then says, “This girl came from a guild that he joined before the Knights of the Blood. He had helped them and he didn’t tell them the truth about himself. He was afraid of rejection. They were a group of friends in high school before they got trapped in the game and this Sachi girl was part of the guild. She was scared and didn’t want to go out adventuring, but she didn’t want to abandon her friends. Our black swordsman didn’t tell them the truth about his level and one day, they feel into a room with anti-crystal trap and only Kirito survived. When he told the truth, the leader of the guild committed suicide, but not calling him ‘beater’ to his face out of his despair.”

The three girls gasp in shock and Lita says, “Oh, geez!”

Rika says, with a nod, “Yeah, Lita. He heard a so-called ‘resurrection item’ and he trained like mad to get it. He got it, but it only works for the ten second before the avatar of the person is deleted and the NervGear turned the brain into a fried egg.”

Mina says, “Geez, no wonder he stayed a solo player for a while.”

Lita says, “And why he doesn’t want people to die so badly.”

Rika says, with a solemn nod, “Yeah. I’m understanding Kirito better than before. And now, his painful past is coming back to haunt him.” Rika says, with a sigh, “I can’t believe that he shared such a dark secret with Asuna, but then again, I’m not surprised.”

Mina asks, teasingly, “Jealous?”

Rika responds, with a blush, “No!” Rika says, with a smile, “But Kirito did tell me about his Duel Blades ability before he exposed it to the whole of SAO to see.”

Lita asks, amazed, “Really?”

Rika says, with a grin, “Yep!”

Mina asks, slyly, “So, he shared a secret with you and Asuna didn’t know until he showed during the battle with the Gleam eyes, right?”

Rika says, with a sly grin, “That’s right, Mina-chan!”

Ino asks them, “Why are you guys talking about SAO so much? Wouldn’t you like to put it behind you?”

Rika, Lita, and Mina sigh and Lita responds, “Yeah, we would. But it is so engrained in our minds and memories, we can’t. And not all of our memories from there were bad.”

Rika asks, with a sly smile, “Anyway, about this Naruto guy, I’ve seen him a few times before and those whisker marks make him kind of cute, but you seem to know him before he got a few holes in his memories, right?”

Lita says, “Yeah. He came to our world through… Well, it is complicated.”

Mina says, “Anyway, we found out from Pluto about who he is, where he came from, and his connection to us and the Silver Millennium. And Naruto is great guy to get along with.”

Rika asks, with a smile, “Really?”

Lita says, “Yeah, he was with us with a short time and he became one of our best friends especially Darien and Serena in which Trista isn’t surprised since the three of them were the closest of friends in their past lives in which Hinata, as Serena’s sister, had a major ‘crush’ on him.”

Mina says, with a smile, “Not only does those whisker marks, but Naruto was a great guy. He was kind, gentle, funny, strong… but he wasn’t good when it came to romance.”

Lita says, with a sigh, “Well, it isn’t surprising considering his history, Mina.”

Rika asks, “So, is it true? They tried to hurt him just because he had a ‘monster’ sealed inside of him?”

Mina says, “Well, what they considered a ‘monster’, but Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox, was a creature created from the chakra of Ten-Tails, the fiend created by Kaguya when she fused and took control of the Shinju, like the other Biju, is more of a victim than a monster. In fact, Kurama and his kind are victims since the Biju contained powerful chakra that could cause massive destruction in which the humans of Gaea wanted to take advantage of by sealing them in humans in which these humans, called Jinchuirki, in which they abuse in order to enslave them to their will.”

Rika says, with a snort, “That stinks. They enslave these creatures for their power and they abuse the crap out of the people that they put them into in which they may have had no choice in the matter.”

Lita says, with a nod, “Pretty much, Lis. Naruto is a lot the same way, but his father wanted him to use it against the guy that ripped Kurama out of his mother, Kushina, since he felt that he is the danger to the world that from a prophecy that he heard of and Naruto was meant to be the hero of the prophecy in which he is going to change his world. He begged with his dying breath for Naruto to be treated as a hero in which he should have a normal life, but the people of his home spat on his grave.”

Mina says, with a grin, “Which they are paying for now.”

Rika asks, curiously, “How bad was it?”

Mina and Lita look at each other nervously and Lita responds, “Lis, what Naruto went through in his childhood makes SAO look like a day in the park.”

Rika gasps and she yells out, shocked, “You’re kidding!”

Mina says, shaking her head, “Not even close. Our whole two years of SAO… Naruto was experiencing every single day of his childhood, if you can call that nightmare a childhood. If you experienced one day of Naruto’s childhood, you would be a nuthouse, Liz.”

Rika says, stunned, “Geez.”

Lita says, “We’re amazing that Naruto is so nice and caring. After the memories of his life that we saw, we wouldn’t be shocked at all if he went insane or went to the ‘dark side’, but somehow, Naruto saw the good in people as well as the bad and became such a strong willed person that he believed in humanity as a whole. He believed that the people of his world can become better and go beyond the ‘cycle of hate and war’ that engulfed his worlds for generations to centuries in which they can achieve ‘true peace’ through understanding and unity of heart.”

Rika says, awe-struck, “Man, what a guy.”

Mina says, with a smile, “It was that memory that kept us going in SAO, Liz.”

Lita says, with a nod, “When we were down, we thought of Naruto especially when he refused to surrender to Kaguya and continued to fight on when he worked with us to save both of our worlds from that bitch.”

Rika says, with a sly smile, “Oh, really? It seems you, two, have a thing from our blond haired ‘savior of the universe’.” Rika mischievously smirks at Lita and Mina and the two of them become nervous.

Mina says, with a major blush, “You have got to admit that those whisker marks makes him quite kawaii, you know.”

Lita says, with a blush, “And we thought about him along with the girls during our time in SAO.”

Mina says, “Naruto really knows how to make an impression on a women and make them fall head over heels for them through it is never his intent. He helps people because he is that kind of guy. They are trouble and he wants to help them.”

Lita says, “He is a lot like Kazuto in which he can’t help himself to help people that are in danger especially good and innocent people.”

Rika says, with a nod and smile, “If he is like our black swordsman, then he must be a great guy especially after what he went through in life.”

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Believe it.” Rika, Mina, and Lita then look to see Naruto, wearing his Ryu Hayabusa styled outfit, sitting on a nearby tree branch with a light smile on his lips.

Rika yells out, “How did he do that?”

Mina tells Rika, “He is a ninja remember?”

Naruto leaps down and he says, “It has been a long time, Mina-chan. And you, Lita-chan.”

Lita says, with a nod, “It has, Naruto.”

Naruto says, “Sorry that I’ve come by to say hello and see how you are doing. I’ve been dealing with ‘personal problems’ as you know.”

Mina says, with a nod, “Yeah, I’ll bet.”

Naruto says, “I know what happened to you, two. I hope that you are doing okay.”

Lita says, with a smile, “We’re okay, Naruto. Thanks to our powers, our bodies were in better condition than most SAO survivors.”

Rika says, drolly, “Thanks a lot.”

Mina says, with a kind smile, “Sorry, Rika.” Mina tells Naruto, motioning to Rika, “By the way, this is Rika. We knew her as Lisbeth in SAO, but we called her Liz for short.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Nice to meet you. Thanks for being friends with Mina-chan and Lita-chan. Without the other girls, I bet that they felt pretty alone.”

Rika says, with a kind smile, “Well, Mina-chan and Lita-chan is the most friendly people that I know.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “That’s not surprising, Rika-san.”

Mina asks Naruto, “Naruto, how much do you remember?”

Naruto gains a serious expression and he says, “I remember enough to know how my so-called home betrayed my dad’s dying breathes and my clan by trying to wipe it out from the history books. I remember some of the good people like Tazuna, Inari, Tsunami, and… Haku. I also remember Granny Tsunade…”

Lita says, “Actually, Lady Tsunade isn’t a ‘grandma’ anymore. When Kaguya ‘possessed’ her to use against you, she reserved all the damage that her seal did to her body and regressed her age back to mid-twenties.”

Naruto asks, amazed, “Really?”

Mina asks, “What else do you remember?”

Naruto responds, “Well, I remember all of you, believe it.”
Lita asks, “Really?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Now, how could I forget a pair of cool and lovely girls? Like the time that we went to the arcade and I nearly beat Serena-chan in Duel Monsters.”

Mina says, with a smile, “You do remember us.”

Lita tells Naruto, in a serious tone, “Naruto…”

Naruto tells Lita, “I know what you are going to say, Lita-chan. I made a promise to Darien and I intend to keep it no matter what. I will protect Serena-chan believe it.”

Lita tells Naruto, with a serious tone, “Even if it means that we become enemies?!”

Naruto sighs and he says, “I don’t want to fight you. Any of you. You are very precious to me, but Serena-chan needs me. She needs Hinata-chan and me.”

Mina tells Naruto, “We know, Naruto, but she and you…” Naruto then kisses Mina on the forehead causing her to blush and he does the same with Lita causing her to wildly blush while taking Rika’s right hand and kissing causing her to blush.

Naruto tells Rika, “Thank you for being friends with Mina-chan and Lita-chan, Rika-san. And I hope that you will continue to do so. They are going to need good friends with a girl like you.”

Rika responds, blushing like mad, “Yeah, sure.”

Naruto tells Rika, “Sorry if I acted like a Casanova. Not my intent and I’m no pervert like Pervy Sage, believe it. Nice to meet you, Rika-san.” Naruto then teleports away in a flash of orange-red lightning.

The three girls are blushing like mad and Rika says, awe-struck, “Okay, I can see what you see in him. Nice guy, not a womanizer, and he can make a lot of girls swoon over him.”

Mina says, with a giggle, “Told you, Lis.”

Lita says, with a nod, “Yeah, but I’m worried. Naruto seems to be mainly himself for now, but I can see a bit of ‘darkness’ in his eyes.”

Mina says, with a nod, “I’m worried too, Lita. Naruto is a strong willed person, but if that darkness from those weirdo ‘Duel Dragon’ cards can warp Serena’s mind especially since she is suffering major memory loss, I’m worried about Naruto.”

Rika asks, with a grin, “Well, despite what’s happened to them, they are still the people that you know, deep down, right?”

Lita says, with a grin, “Yeah, you’re right.”

Rika then says, with a sly grin, “Anyway, you, two, seemed to really enjoy that kiss to your forehead. Most likely, you would like to be on the lips.” Mina and Lita madly blush and Rika can’t help to grin, but then an ‘image’ of her, in her SAO avatar, is with Princess Serenity, Sailor Sun, Asura, Kazuto, as Kirito the Black Swordsman of SAO, and Asuna, wearing a similar outfit to her Knights of Blood outfit, appears in her mind. When the ‘vision’ goes away, Rika thinks, surprised, “What was that?”

(Elsewhere; Sometime soon afterwards)

Within the Japanese mountain countryside, there is a good sized mansion and estate surrounded by a grand garden, multiple roads leading to the household, and there are other facilities with the mansion including a house sized garage, a massive lake sized pool, a high tech lab, and even a facility that mixes an old fashion blacksmith shop with modern industry.

Naruto, Serena, and Hinata were walking around and Naruto says, “Man, your dad really knows how to live the high life!”

Serena says, with a giggle, “Dad doesn’t exactly like it, but he only does it since he is rich not to bring too much attention to himself.”

Hinata says, “Well, you have a point, Serena-onee-chan. If he lived modesty since he is so rich, people are going to ask questions.”

Naruto says, “You have a point, Hinata-chan.”

Serena says, “Anyway, he only comes here to work in the lab on how to adapt his knowledge of Silver Millennium technology to Earth standard. He plans to upgrade our Neuro-Linkers and help create a vast virtual network.”

Naruto says, “That’s awesome, Serena, believe it!”

Hinata says, with a nod, “Yes, I agree.”

Serena tells Naruto, teasingly, “Anyway, you really made Mina, Lita, and their new friend blush.”

Naruto asks, stunned, “You saw that?!”

Hinata tells Naruto, “It’s all right, Naruto-kun. The Inner Sailor Scouts were more than friends to us back in the Silver Millennium.”

Serena says, with a warm smile, “We were like sisters.”

Hinata tells Naruto, “We know why you did that. You told them something that was… hard for us to say.”

Naruto says, with a nod of understand, “I see, Hinata-chan. I just hope that they will accept it.”

Serena tells Naruto, “It is going to take more than a kiss to be a good apology for Pyro, Naruto.”

Hinata asks, “What is Obito going to do this?”

Naruto says, looking at his new Mark of the Dragon, “It doesn’t matter, Hinata-chan. I intend to stop him once and for all.”

Serena says, “And I intend to put an end to Sapphire for good. I feel sorry for him and his brother, but Diamond died on his terms. And if he is going to put innocent people in danger because of that, I have to stop him.”

Naruto asks Hinata, “How are you doing, Hinata-chan?”

Hinata says, with a warm smile, “I’m doing fine, Naruto-kun. Thank you for asking me.”

Naruto asks Serena, “Are you okay with those new swords?”

Serena says, with a nod, “I’ll be okay, Naruto. I didn’t know that I could get swords that came from video games including legendary video games.”

Naruto says, “I’m amazed that you took blacksmithing skills in the game among other things.”

Serena says, “Well, with the few memories I have, I may always get the final victory, but everyone has to suffer in order for me to get there. I don’t… I don’t want…”

Hinata tells Serena, with a warm smile, “We understand, Serena.”

Naruto tells Serena, “You can’t do everything yourself, Serena. You are going to need help.”

Serena says, with a warm smile, “I know, Naruto. Thank you.”

Naruto nods his head and Naruto says, “And it is amazing that we can transfer the game skills into Rainbow Gardens.”

Hinata tells Naruto, “Well, Rainbow Gardens is similar to a game world, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto says, “Good point, Hinata-chan.”

Hinata says, with a smile, “I also wonder if that’s why you took up blacksmithing too.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “I’ve always wanted to try something new, Hinata-chan.”

Serena says, “Other players are going to ask where we got the increase in certain skills from.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Well, let them ask Serena-chan.” Hinata and Serena nod their heads in agreement and Naruto says, “And yes, it is the reason I also took to real blacksmithing too.”

Hinata says, with a smile, “I also took on merchant skills too.”

Serena says, with a smile, “I guess that we are enjoying the new game.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Yeah.”

Serena says, with a sigh, “Too bad that it isn’t always for fun.”

Naruto asks, “Going to show off your new swords?”

Serena says, “I don’t like fighting, but I can’t just help myself to go into mischief lately.”

Hinata says, with a smile, “Maybe Naruto-kun’s pranking habits have gotten you, Serena-chan.”

Serena says, with a mock pout, “You have been a bad influence on me, Naruto.”

Naruto asks, with a foxy smile, “Who me?” Hinata, Serena, and Naruto share giggles and they continue on in which they can’t help to enjoy this, but Serena can’t help to long for more people to enjoy this with.

(Back in Hayabusa Village; Later on)

Inside of Hayabusa Village, Davis is sitting down by a tree and looking up at the mountains in which he is thinking about what just happened and finding out the new generation of Dark Signers includes none other than Takeru ‘TK’ Takashi, their former comrade that died over a year ago when the Digidestined/Data Squad got into SAO to save their friends and the other trapped players by virtualizing themselves into the game.

Kari’s voice booms, “Davis?” Davis then looks to see Kari coming towards him with a concerned look on her face.

Davis says, with a sigh, “Hey, Kari.”

Kari tells Davis, “You aren’t okay.”

Davis tells Kari, “I would be lying to say that I am.”

Kari tells Davis, “Dai-kun, with TK…”

Davis says, with a sigh, “I know what you are going to say. Yes, both of us saw him die before our very eyes with no body to bring back. You are going to say that it isn’t my fault.”

Kari tells Davis, interrupting, “Well, it isn’t, Davis!”

Davis says, “Tell that to my conscience, Kari. I was the one that forged ahead recklessly with our continued missions using virtualization to infiltrate SAO.”

Kari tells Davis, “And you are the ones that gave us new hope, Dai-kun.” Kari tells Davis, “Even through Yolei, Ken, and Cody were with me, I felt lonely. Davis says, “It was probably part of the reason that we could only materialize ourselves manually and with the program to delete your avatar once you are ‘dead’, we would be more ‘dead’ if we died in there.”

Kari says, solemnly, “Which we found out to our horror. To be honest, Dai-kun, I blamed myself for such a thing. In SAO, I sought to be strong and not having to be rescued, but after TK died, I wonder about that strength being nothing more than an illusion and it got me depressed.” Davis looks at Kari and she says, “And when you were planning to stay trapped to make sure that none of us died, I was so afraid since I didn’t want to lose anyone else that I cared about.”

Davis says, with a smile, “The two of us talked and then we argued.”

Kari says, with a warm smile, “And then we got together. I didn’t want to lose anyone else, but I couldn’t help to admire you were willing that you willing to go all out for us. And then when it came to TK…”

Davis says, “It was him that brought us together.”

Kari says, with a nod, “And we owe to him to do whatever it takes to save him from the Earthbound Immortals.” Kari then sits on Davis’ lap and he blushes in which she giggles before she kisses him right on the lips. Davis returns the kiss with the same passion and love that Kari is giving her. After a minute, the two of them release from the kiss and Kari says, “And you won’t be fighting alone.”

Davis says, with a sigh, “I wish that I didn’t have to involve others in this fight.”

Kari tells Davis, “Even the original Star Dragon King needed help, Dai-kun. We’re in this together through thick and thin as you promised me back in SAO.” Kari puts her forehead to Davis and she tells him, “I love you, Dai-kun.”

Davis responds, “I love you, too.” Davis and Kari share another passionate and loving kiss and they lovingly embrace each other and the scene switches to Kazuto as he looks up in the sky as Asuna goes over to him while Rika and Keiko are also nearby.

Asuna says, “Kirito.”

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “How could she ever think that? How could Sachi ever think that I would dare to forget about her? Was her death so painful that her heart filled with anger and rage? And now, she has become one of these ‘Dark Signers’, these undead warriors that wish nothing, but to destroy the human race and cover the world in darkness.”
Keiko asks, “Is he going to be okay?”

Rika says, “Well…” Just then everyone hears footsteps and everyone looks to see Jack Atlas, Yusei Fudo, Crow, and Akiza in front of them. Rika yells out, “Whoa! Jack Atlas?!”

Jack says, “I’m here someone by the name of Kazuto Kirigaya.”

Kazuto says, “That’s me, sir.”

Jack says, “What?! This skinny punk is my successor as the bearer of the wings of the Crimson Dragon? I’m not sure that he is even a duelist!”

Kazuto asks, “What do you mean?”

Rika tells Kazuto, “I think that he means that new ‘tattoo’ that you are sporting on your right arm.”

Kazuto rolls up his right shelve, revealing the Dragon’s Wing Mark of the Dragon, and Crow says, “That’s the Crimson Dragon’s wings all right.”

Jack tells Kazuto, “All right, kid, I’ll get straight to the point. You know about the Crimson Dragon and the Earthbound Immortals right?”

Kazuto says, “I got the basic story, yeah.”

Jack tells Kazuto, “Then you should know that you are bearing the same Mark of the Dragon that I once bore when I was a Signer before I completed my job and with my friends and teammates saved the world… Twice!”

Kazuto asks, “You saved the world?”

Crow says, with a nod, “Got that right!”

Jack says, “And I’m hearing that my successor is in some kind of ‘pity party’! Well, I’m here to set him straight!”

Jack goes over to Kazuto and he asks, “And how is that?”

Crow thinks in his mind, slapping his forehead, “Way to go, kid! Now, you are going to get it!”

Jack says, with a serious tone, “How? Like this!” Jack then rams his fist into Kazuto’s gut and he gasps as the wind is knocked out of him.

There are multiple gasps and Rika yells out, “Hey!” Jack then grabs Kazuto by his collar and lifts him up.

Yusei says, seriously, “Whoa, Jack!”

Jack says, “Back off, Yusei! You needed a kick in the pants during our war with our Dark Signers and this kid needs one right now!” Jack tells Kazuto, “I already got the basic gist of the situation! You are an SAO survivor, you were with a group known as a guild, you lied about your abilities to them, and a mistake that got them all killed right?”
Kazuto yells at Jack, angrily, “You don’t know anything!”

Jack tightens his grip and he yells out, strongly, “I know what it means for a game to become a battle of life and death! Remember? The duels with the Dark Signers aren’t a game! They are a battle of life and death in which when we, the Signers, set up to the plate against them, we are putting a knife to our necks since if we lose that duel, we lose our lives, kid! So, don’t ever say that we don’t know what it feels like to battle with our lives at stake! And for another fact, we were battling with the lives of the whole world at stake, kid! So, watch that mouth kid! I won’t let you belittle the pain, torture, and suffering, mental and physical, that my comrades had to endure twice in row since our next enemy wanted to blow Neo Domino City into pieces killing millions!”

Rika asks, “Blow up your home? You’re kidding, right?”

Jack gives a dangerous glare at Rika, causing her to be nervous, and Crow asks, “Kid, does Jack look like a guy to kid around?”

Kazuto says, “Okay, I get it.”

Jack responds, “No, kid. You don’t get it.” Jack then violently throws Kazuto to the ground and he says, with a stern glare, “As I said, I got the basic idea. Well, let me let you in on a secret of mine: The previous owner of the Hummingbird that your, now, undead former comrade has also died because of a mistake that I made.” Kazuto looks at Jack in surprise and he says, “Her name is Carly. You wouldn’t say that she had much of a future in her career of choice, but she had a good enough heart. Let’s just say that I wouldn’t be the duelist that I am today if it wasn’t for her helping back to my feet after I had learned that my early career as the so-called ‘King of Turbo Duels’ was nothing, but a sham. And it was a sham truth be told. If it wasn’t for her, I would be a poser rather than the true World Dueling King that I am today. Well, while she helped me get into the path, I shunned her away because this ‘business’ of the war between the Signers and Dark Signers was dangerous and I didn’t want to get her involved. But by pushing her away, she got involved and she ended up getting blasted out of a building by a Psychic Duelist wanting to build an army to take over the world and falling to her death.”

There are multiple gasps, while Akiza lowers her head knowing it was Sayer that did that, and Kazuto says, “And she became a Dark Signer.”

Jack says, “Bingo, kid. She became the Dark Signer as the same ‘dark mark’ that your friend now bares.” There are more gasps and Jack says, “I didn’t learn this fact until later. I had found Carly’s glasses in the collapsing building when she, after coming back as a Dark Signer, nearly blasted that psycho psychic into the Netherworld and rescued Akiza. But when the Dark Signers were assembled, I found out that Carly was a Dark Signer and that meant that she had died and was revived as a Dark Signer.” Jack says, with a serious tone, “But did I just sit around and go into a pity party?! No! I dueled Carly with all of my strength to bring her back from the dark! I fought all that I had to defeat that ‘demon’ that taken her over! For her and for the sake of our world, kid! And if you can’t do that, then you should give me your Red Dragon Archfiend and your Mark of the Dragon and leave to the hands of a real Signer!”

Akiza says, with a sigh, “Oh, Jack…”

Kazuto asks, “Wait! Are you saying that you found a way to revive your friend?”
Jack responds, “After Yusei, Crow, and I defeated the Netherworld King and the last of the Dark Signers, four of the Dark Signers including Carly were revived back to life.” Jack tells Kazuto, with a serious tone, “However, I can’t assure you that it will happen a second time, kid. But I’ve got a question: Can you really allow her to remain the way that she is? Enslaved to the darkness of the Earthbound Immortals and the Netherworld?” Kazuto’s eyes widen and Jack says, “You owe it to her to fight for her because she was your friend! If you back down, then you never cared about her at all!”

Kazuto asks, annoyed tone in his voice, “What?!”

Jack replies, sternly, “You heard me, kid! If you cared for her, then you will die her in a duel and you will beat her to set her free of the darkness! I dueled Carly because I fought for her and I fought for the world! If you truly care about your friend, then you will duel and you will protect the world that she loved when she was alive, kid! If not, then you aren’t worthy of being a Signer!” Jack turns away and he says, “Remember my words, kid. I’ll let you think about them and then you have got to make a choice in which you had better make the fucking right one or I will beat your ass so hard that your kid will cry!”

As Jack walks away, Crow says, “Same old Jack.”

Yusei tells Crow, “As much as I hate to admit it, I think that was necessary.”

Akiza says, with a smile, “It worked for you when Jack gave you a lecture after hitting you in the gut.”

Yusei says, with a winch, “Something that I wish to forget Akiza.” Akiza giggles and Crow smirks at Yusei’s embarrassment and Yusei says, with a serious tone, “The main problem is your successor and Luna’s successor.”

Crow says, “I don’t get it! How could they have those ‘Duel Dragons’ and be Signers at the same time?! It’s just nuts!”

Yusei says, “Well, their personalities, at least before their memory loss, might make sense. Remember on how Naruto-san was described as.”

Crow says, with a grin, “Well, you got me there! A guy after my own heart!”

Akiza tells Yusei, “But Yusei, they aren’t ‘whole’.”

Yusei says, “Yeah, not to mention that they are under a ‘dark influence’ through it seems like they are retaining of ‘who they are’ at least for the time being. The Crimson Dragon must have sensed their strength in which Naruto is a lot like Crow and Sailor Moon… I think that’s obvious. They were the best choices despite their ‘flaws’ and most likely, the Crimson Dragon saw ‘their true selves’ and hopefully, it’s light can hold off the darkness through if this creature that these Duel Dragon keep under seal is just as strong, I can’t be sure that even the Crimson Dragon can hold it for long. The Crimson Dragon is one of the most powerful entities in the universe, but it doesn’t mean that there are beings that rival its power including the Aesir, which are beings similar to the Egyptian God Monsters.”

Akiza says, with a nod, “Good point, Yusei.”
Crow says, “And there is something else. It looks like no one has been chosen to weld the Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon and Life Stream Dragon yet.”

Yusei says, with a nod, “I know, Crow. However, five Signers are good enough for the time being, but now, they are divided and that’s not good. They need to be united or things are going to get ‘sticky’.”

Crow says, “No joke, Yusei, but it sounds like they have more problems that we did back in the day.”
Before Yusei could comment, Akiza asks, “Hold up, do you hear something?” Just then everyone then starts to hear something like a horse racing towards them and everyone then assembles around in which an unusual silver colored horse leaps out from the shadows and the side of a cliff-side in which they find that none other than Sailor Moon is riding on the horse, but her outfit is much different.

Sailor Moon is wearing a cowboy/cowgirl hat with holes for the buns of her pigtails to come out, a huge golden crescent moon jewel in the center of the hat, her lips are a deep, full, and lovely shimmering pink, she has a brown leather choker with a golden crescent moon sigil in the center, silver star and golden crescent moon jewels attached to her ears as earrings, a fuku like her Eternal fuku, but with her Legendium broach attached to the chest area, she has a pair of brown cowboy/cowgirl gloves over her hands and lower arms, she has a pair of cowboy/cowgirl jeans covering her legs and under her skirt even, and she has a pair of brown cowboy/cowgirl boots on her feet with the classic spurs attached to the rear of the heel with four inch stiletto heels. She has eight huge and fluffy silver feather wings coming out of her back and what looks like a pair of Colt Peacemaker revolves attached to her skirt.

Sailor Jupiter asks, “Is that Sailor Moon?”

Sailor Moon responds, talking with a ‘cowboy accent’, “Howdy, folks! There is a new sheriff and her name is Sailor Moon!”

Sailor Moon leaps off the horse and Yolei asks, “How come she looks and she is talking like a cowgirl form the Wild West?”

Sailor Moon responds, “This is here is my gosh darn brand new form change: Wild West Wizard!”

Matt says, “Talk about your tongue twisters.”

Sakura comes forward and she says, “Cut the Wild West show, Meatball Head. You didn’t come to show off.”

Sailor Moon replies, glaring at her, “Not exactly the pleasantries, are ya? Well, you hit the nail on the head, sunspot. I’m right here to see this gosh darn family feud to its end. It’s time talk royal to royal.” Sailor Moon then closes her eyes, her broach then glows as it opens up, revealing the Silver Crystal inside, and in a silver glow with some hints of violet, Sailor Moon then transforms into Princess Serenity, but there are some differences in which both her golden crescent moon and her new dark violet upside crescent moon sigils are on her forehead, there is a crown exactly like her Eternal Shinobi Sailor Moon form on her scalp, her lips are a deep, full, and gorgeous shimmering dark pink color, the pearls around her right wrist are gone and she has black silken fingerless gloves that goes up to her elbows, dark silver fingernails are exposed from the fingerless gloves, and her dress has the legs area partial see-through which shows that she is wearing a pair of dark silver high-heeled shoes with five inch stiletto heels.

There are plenty of shocked looks and Mimi says, “Oh my.”

Ken asks, “Is that…?”
Sailor Pluto responds, “Her majesty, Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom.”
Keiko says, “She’s beautiful.”

Princess Serenity then forms a dark silver specter with the Silver Crystal on top with a dark violet glow coming from below it and she asks, her tone regal, “Shall we get started, Lady Sakura, or is my cousin within you not feel that I am worth talking to?”

Sakura responds, “Don’t get your panties in a twist, princess.” Sakura then closes her eyes, her broach as Sailor Sun appears, opens up, and in a golden light, Sakura then transforms in which her pink hair grows until it was exactly like Raye’s/Sailor Mars’ hairstyle, her crown as Legendium Sailor Sun appears in her scalp, her golden-red sun sigil is on her forehead, she has deep, full, and gorgeous sparkling pink lips, she is wearing a golden version of Princess Serenity’s dress in which all that’s white on Princess Serenity’s dress is golden and all that’s golden is silver, she has golden colored fingernails, a black belt with her Blazefire Sabers of her Legendium Sailor Scout form around her waist, and under the dress, she has on a pair of red high-heeled shoes with five inch stiletto heels.

The others are amazed and Sailor Milky Way says, with a smile, “Beautiful and dangerous. That’s you sis.”

Tai asks, “So, this is Sakura’s ‘princess form’?”

‘Sakura’ then says, “Sakuya.”

There are plenty of surprised looks and Sailor Pluto says, “That’s her ‘regal name’. In this, she is Princess Sakuya of the Sun Kingdom, heiress of its throne, and bearer of the Imperium Solaris Crystal.”

Ino says, with a smirk, “It doesn’t seem like much has changed in lifetimes.”
Princess Sakuya creates a golden specter with a phoenix’s head on top with an open mouth with the Imperium Solaris Crystal inside and she says, after slamming the base of the specter into the ground, “Okay, Serenity, I’m listening.”

Princess Serenity says, “I see that you haven’t changed for a millennia, Sakuya.”

Princess Sakuya says, “I’m not here to catch up, Serenity. We’re here to talk business and the business: Cut it out!” Princess Sakuya then regally walks up to Princess Serenity’s left and she turns to face her ‘royal cousin’.

Princess Serenity says, “Your diplomatic skills haven’t changed in the centuries either.”

Princess Sakuya says, “I don’t like the ‘run around’ even though I know my way around politics, Serenity. Politics is a battlefield onto itself and you need the brains and the ‘brawn’ of a sort to handle it.”

Sailor Uranus says, “She does have a point.”

Princess Sakuya says, “This has to end, Serenity.”

Princess Serenity responds, with a strong expression and tone, “Only on my terms, Sakuya. And don’t try anything on me. You and I are ‘equal royal stasis’ since our kingdoms are equal since my kingdom is the head of the Silver Alliance and yours is the head of the Golden Alliance.”

Princess Sakuya says, seriously, “Don’t give me that, Serenity. I know that all too well and you know that I’m not one of your guardians. I am my own Sailor Soldier, an elite one, and leader of my own team.”

Princess Serenity replies, “Well, you aren’t the only one anyone, Sakuya.”

As the two princesses glare down each other, Joe asks, “Why do I get the feeling that this isn’t going to end well?”

Princess Sakuya asks, “Oh, really?”

Princess Serenity says, with a sigh, “I don’t think that talking is going to get us anywhere.”

Princess Sakuya responds, “As long as you continue this, you think?”

Her Legendium broach appears in front of her, floats in the air, and Princess Serenity says, as the Silver Crystal inserts itself back into the broach, “I guess that there is no other way.”

Princess Sakuya’s Legendium broach also appears, floats in the air, and she responds, as her crystal goes back into her broach, “No joke, Meatball Head.”

Sailor Pluto says, “You can’t!”

Princess Sakuya says, “Back off, Pluto! This is between her and me! Like it or not, you knew that the instant that I awoke, this is how it is going to be!” Both princesses put cards into their broaches as they prepare to transform.

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

“Sun Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Amazon Blood Knight!”

When they push the buttons on top, both Moon Princess and Sun Princess are engulfed in orbs of light and when they come out of them, Legendium Sailor Moon, in her ‘Black Swordsman form’, and Legendium Sailor Sun, in her ‘Amazon Blood Knight’ form stand in the place of Princess Serenity and Princess Sakuya.

Sailor Sun says, “You seem to like that form a bit much.”

Sailor Moon says, “Yeah, I guess that we can on that much. The color reflects on where I can find what I desire and need: In the darkness.”

There are multiple surprised looks and Sailor Saturn says, solemnly, “Sailor Moon.”

Sailor Sun says, “Excuse me if that doesn’t remind me of someone.”

Sailor Moon gives an out of regular character dark glare and she replies, “Don’t you dare compare me to the Uchiha, Sailor Sun, especially you are reflecting one of his qualities.”

Sailor Sun roars as she draws two rapier swords, with crystal blue hilts and guards with golden and silver blades, and she says, with a snarl, “How dare you say that to me?! You are really pissing me off!”

Sailor Moon retorts, “Oh, really? I remember one of Naruto’s memories in which Sasuke said himself when he joined in the Fourth Great Ninja War that he will ‘sever the past’.” Sailor Sun flinches and Sailor Moon says, “In my mind, it is all levels of stupid. If you have no past, you are assured to make the mistakes of the past. You need to learn from the past in order to avoid making the same ones and making similar ones in order to create a better future. I had to learn about my past life in order to figure out how to assure the Negaverse didn’t repeat what they did to the Silver Millennium on this world and time.”

Sailor Sun says, “Like I said before, when it comes to common sense, Sasuke is always a few kunai short.”

Sailor Moon asks, “And what about you?” Sailor Sun glares at Sailor Moon, but she doesn’t reply causing Sailor Moon says, with a smirk, “It looks like I made the infamous Sailor Sun speechless.”

Sailor Sun asks, “And what about you… Serena?”

Sailor Moon’s eyes narrow and she says, “That name… I want to mean something… I need it to mean something… but… it has absolutely no meaning to me…” There are gasps from the Sailor Scouts and Sailor Moon says, “It is so… frustrating. Even without my memories, the name should be something to me… should have some kind of meaning in my heart… but I can’t…”

Sailor Sun retorts, “Maybe deep down, you are trying to seal that part of you away because you feel that your ‘obsession’ of being just Serena Tsukino got your prince killed.” Sailor Moon glares darkly at Sailor Sun, but she doesn’t reply and Sailor Sun asks, “Who is speechless now?”

Sailor Moon says, in an uncharacteristic dark tone, “Let’s get this over with.”

Sailor Sun says, “Now, you are making sense, Meatball Head.”

Sailor Moon says, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Oathkeeper! Oblivion!” Just then a pair of new swords in sheaths appears on Sailor Moon’s back and she draws them to show everyone the full view of swords.

The first sword looks like a pitch black one-handed version of the two handed Claymore with a black gear on the hilt guard with a dark violet jewel in the center of the ‘gear hilt’.

The other sword looks like a pearly white cutlass with rainbow star jewels on the hilt guard.

The others are amazed and Tai says, “It seems like she has got some new swords.”

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “The black sword is known as Oblivion and the white sword is Oathkeeper. I had forged them myself.”

There are surprised looks and Sailor Sun asks, “You made those?”

Sailor Moon says, with a grin, “It is surprising that blacksmithing skills that you learn in NMO can work in Rainbow Gardens.” There are looks of surprise and Sailor Moon says, “I had these forged with Naruto’s help. They were both forged with the ores that make up Chrome Digi-Zoid among others.”

Izzy says, shocked, “Those swords are made with Chrome Digi-Zoid?! That’s the strongest metal of the Digital World! It’s stronger than steel!”

There are surprised looks and Sailor Jupiter asks, “Stronger than steel?”

Cody says, with a nod, “That’s right. WarGreymon’s claws and MetalGarurumon’s body is made of Chrome Digi-Zoid which makes them very durable.”

Sailor Moon says, “These show the strength of my resolve… my resolve to never let my tragedy happen to anyone else… and to fulfill my promise… and this time, I won’t need anyone else to sacrifice themselves for me. This time, I stand on my legs and my own power!”

Sailor Sun says, “Then you can show me what your power can do, Sailor Moon.” Sailor Sun then gains a golden chakra aura while Sailor Moon responds with her own silver chakra aura causing a strong wind to start from their powers and when the winds die down, there is silence for a moment, but then the two of them vanish through incredible super-speed. Soon after, there is a shockwave that shakes the area and two blurs continue to clash causing more shockwaves.

Davis yells out, “Here they go!”

Kiba asks, “Is it some kind of teleportation?”

Kakashi responds, shaking his head, “No, they are moving so fast that you can’t normally see it! I don’t think that my Sharingan eyes could follow them!” The two ‘blurs’, Sailor Moon and Sailor Sun, move at incredible speeds and when they are visible, their bodies seem like blurs as they clash with their swords on the ground and in mid-air.

At one point, Sailor Moon shouts out, “What do you fight for Sailor Sun?!”

Sailor Sun yells out, “What?!”

Sailor Moon responds, “Like I said, I don’t want to fight, but I have to fight! I have to fight to protect Naruto and to protect everyone! And I have more to protect! I have my daughter! Her life! Her future! What do you protect Sailor Sun?” Sailor Sun gives a look of surprise that gives Sailor Moon then moment to strike hard with a powerful blow that Sailor Sun manages to block with her swords, but the sheer forces sends her flying into a tree that’s turned into splinters from the sheer impact. When Sailor Sun gets back to her feet, Sailor Moon says, with an uncharacteristic dark tone, “You try to lecture me and all you have is words, Sailor Sun? A Sailor Soldier is a Sailor Guardian and a guardian protects something! You have…!!”

Sailor Sun roars out, angrily, “Say those words and I will rip those pigtails and stuff them in your mouth!”

Many of the others are shocked and Hawkmon says, “Oh my. I think that Miss Moon might have said the wrong words.”

Davis asks, “You think Hawkmon?”

Sailor Sun shows that she has a strong deadly glare and she tells her, with tears of sadness and anger in her eyes, “You dare question my resolve?! You dare?! You got it lucky that you died during the destruction of your kingdom. I was there for the aftermath! I was there to see the ruins of my kingdom and the corpses of my people! My kingdom… my people weren’t just my subjects! They were my brothers, sisters, my sons, and my daughters! The royal family ruled by the sides of the people! We were like the Spartans of Greece and one united family!”

There are gasps and Ino says, stunned, “Forehead…”

Sailor Sun says, with a deadly serious tone, “I have seen death of my family in one lifetime! The death of many comrades in another! My resolve… What I need to protect is the two worlds! To make sure that no more madmen like Madara Uchiha arise! To make sure no more tragedies like the Silver Millennium come about! I protect everyone! You want my resolve?! Here it is your face, bitch!” Sailor Sun then zips over to Sailor Moon at incredible speed and with her right sword glowing brightly, she swings it hard at Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon blocks it with her swords, but when Sailor Sun’s sword hits, it causes a massive explosion in which Sailor Moon screams as she is sent skidding backwards until she hits a tree with a strong ‘crash’ causing it to collapse when Sailor Moon slams into it.

There are multiple gasps and Sailor Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune yell out in unison, “Sailor Moon!” However, out of the smoke and dust, Sailor Moon comes out mainly unharmed minus the bit of blood coming out of her lips.

Sailor Moon says, with a sigh, “Okay, I’m sorry. I went a bit too far.”

Sailor Sun says, with a snort, “Fine, Serenity. Never do that again.”

Sailor Moon says, “But unlike you, I admit to my mistakes.”

Sailor Sun responds, “That’s left to be seen.” Sailor Sun and Sailor Moon prepare to fight each other again, but then the ground beneath their feet bursts open and black tentacles grab onto them and restrain them making them unable to move!

Sailor Venus asks, “What the heck is that?!”

Just then Black Zetsu comes out of the ground and he says, with an evil sly tone, “I come here for the power of Mistress Nine and instead I get the chance to revive my mother in one go! Once I absorb mother’s chakra from Serenity and the flames of the phoenix from you, my mother will be stronger than ever before!”

The two Sailor Scouts scream out in pain as Black Zetsu starts to absorb ‘energy’ from them and Yamato says, “We need to stop them now!”

But then more tentacles burst from the ground and Black Zetsu says, “No help from the peanut gallery!”

Just then a male voice shouts out, “How about from a kick butt fox?!” Black Zetsu then looks only to see a wave of rainbow energy slam into him causing him to scream out in pain and then a ‘blur’ slices apart the tentacles holding Sailor Sun and Sailor Moon in which they are freed while the other ‘tentacles’ meant to hold back the others are vaporized.

Naruto lands nearby and he tells Sailor Moon, “Sorry I’m late.”

Sailor Moon replies, “Right on time!”

Black Zetsu then booms out, “Right on time to die you mean!” Everyone then looks at Black Zetsu, who looks like his right half is blow off, and he says, as he regenerates, “Uzumaki… reincarnation of Asura, it is finally time that I pay you back for what you and this wretched little girl did to my mother!”

Naruto retorts, “With what, you blob?” Black Zetsu then leaps back and he somehow transforms into the complete Ten-Tails!

Sailor Sun asks, drolly, “You had to ask, didn’t you?”

Rika asks, nervously, “What is that?”

Sailor Mars says, “Shit! He transformed into the Ten-Tails!”

Kakashi says, “That’s not possible!” The ‘Ten-Tails’ then makes a roar that shakes the ground and Sailor Saturn creates a shield to protect everyone.

Sailor Saturn says, “I don’t know how long I can hold this!” The Black Zetsu version of the Ten-Tails then lifts and slams his fist causing the whole area to quake as it barely misses Sailor Sun, Sailor Moon, and Naruto when they jumped out the way. The ‘Zetsu Ten-Tails’ prepares to attack again before it roars out in pain as a gorgeous silver tiger slashes its arm.

Just then a familiar female voice yells out, “Excellent work, Drigger!” Everyone then looks to see Sailor Star, wearing a red cloth version of her fuku, brown fingerless gloves that goes up to her elbows with her bracelets over the wrist portion of her gloves, and wearing brown combat boots with the rest of her fuku remaining the same as her ‘regular’ Legendium form, along with a pair of katara daggers with silver handles and dragons with stars engraved on the blades attached to the rear of her fuku, running up to them.

Naruto says, “Star-chan!”

Sailor Star asks, “What’s going on?”

Naruto says, “Somehow, that Black Zetsu turned into a copy of the Ten-Tails!”

Sailor Star asks, confused, “But how?!”

Sailor Sun responds, “Do want to ask question or do you want to stop him?”

Naruto says, “She has a point, Star-chan.”

Sailor Moon says, “I need ten seconds! I’m going to release the restraints of one of my new skills and powers of this form!”

Everyone looks at Sailor Moon and Naruto responds, “You got it, Moon-chan!” Naruto looks at Sailor Star and she nods her head in which Naruto then sends an energy wave to negate the attack of a Tailed Beast bomb from the pseudo-Ten-Tails. Naruto leaps up and slashes the monster in the face sending it back with a roar of pain.

Sailor Star says, seriously, “Drigger!” The large silver tiger joins Sailor Star as the two of them slash up the right arm of the monster causing it to roar out in pain while Sailor Sun slashes at its waist.

(Sword Art Online music ‘Swordland’ starts)

Sailor Moon says, “Aincard! Activate combat HUD now!” Just then a huge holographic screen appears in front of Sailor Moon and an exact mannequin of her form appears on the screen in which multiple other screens appear around her and connect to the large screen. When the screens vanish, Sailor Moon says, “Here goes.” Sailor Moon then connects her Oblivion and Oathkeeper swords by their hilts and they link together with a loud ‘click’.

Sailor Celestial asks, “She just connected her swords together?”

Sailor Moon yells out, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Elucidator and Dark Repulser!” Both said swords appear and Sailor Moon then links those swords together by the end of their hilts together which shocks everyone as she welds the linked Elucidator and Dark Repulser in her left hand and the other linked swords in her right hand. The pseudo-Ten-Tails creates a powerful shockwave that throws Sailor Sun, Naruto, and Sailor Star back, but Sailor Moon, with the blades of her linked swords glowing, joins up and makes her move.

“Moon Light burst Stream!”

Sailor Moon then vanishes in a flash of silver light and then the pseudo-Ten-Tails roars out in pain as Sailor Moon slashes it in the waist with the all of its blades of its linked swords and then Sailor Moon, in flashes of light, zips all over the false Ten-Tails, slashing it all over the place, and the massive monster roars out in pain.

Sailor Mercury says, amazed, “Unbelievable!” Sailor Moon continues her assault, but at one point, one of the massive fists slam into her and she yells out as she is sent flying with her swords nearly flying out of her hands, however, she recovers, flips forward, tightens her grip on her linked swords, and cuts off the hand of the pseudo-Ten-Tails in retaliation. However, the massive monster attempts to grab Sailor Moon with its remaining hand, but Naruto cuts off the other hand to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Naruto yells out, strongly, “I don’t think so, you creep!”

Sailor Moon replies, “Thanks, Naruto!” Sailor Moon then charges in, rams the blades of her swords into the false Ten-Tails’ face causing it to roar out in pain, and she slides down its face and body until she hits the ground in which she leaps away. The false Ten-Tails then roars as it melts into ‘black goop’ which then reforms in a greatly weakened Black Zetsu.

Black Zetsu says, with a sneer, “You wretch!”

Sailor Star shouts out, “Zetsu!” Black Zetsu turns to the source of Sailor Star’s voice only to get beheaded by a dagger strike from Sailor Star in which her grunts as he melts into nothingness soon afterwards.

(Sword Art Online music ‘Swordland’ ends)

Sailor Sun says, “It is about time that someone shut him up.”

Naruto tells Sailor Star, “You did good, Star-chan.”

Sailor Star says, “Thank you, Naruto-kun, but Sailor Moon did all of the work.”

Sailor Moon responds, shaking her head, “Without your help, I wouldn’t have been able to end this.”

Naruto tells Sailor Moon, “And that’s what we are all about, Moon-chan.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “Yeah.”

Sailor Moon sighs and Naruto asks, “Are you okay?’

Sailor Star also gives a look of concern and she responds, “I’m fine, Naruto. I’m just… tried.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Let’s take a break.”

Naruto, Sailor Star, and Sailor Moon prepare to take off and Sailor Sun says, “Hold up!”

Sailor Moon tells Sailor Sun, “We’ll finish this another day, Sailor Sun. Right now, I want to get back to my family and my daughter. You gave me a warning to ‘cut it out’ and now, I give you a warning to back off! I will do what’s necessary to ensure the peace of the people of this world, Naruto’s world, and this universe! And I will do what’s necessary to ensure their happiness and make sure that my tragedy never repeats itself!”

Sailor Sun responds, “I’m in a similar camp, but I intend to do it the right away and if you keep this up, I will stand against you!”

Sailor Moon says, “Then let’s agree that we disagree.” Naruto, Sailor Star, and Sailor Moon then vanish in a flash of orange red and Sailor Sun puts her swords away before returning to the others.

Sailor Uranus asks, annoyed, “What was that?”

Sailor Sun responds, “That was a fight, duh. And anyway, I learned enough. Someone or something is keeping part of her suppressed.”

There are looks of shock and confusion and Davis asks, “What do you mean?”

Sailor Sun says, “She really wants to know who she really is, but some ‘outside force’ is keeping it suppressed even from her own heart.”

There are gasps, but Sailor Venus asks, “Shouldn’t that not be possible even for amnesia?”

Sailor Mars says, “Normal amnesia, yes, but Sailor Sun may have a point. Lately, I’ve been feeling something ‘off’ about Meatball Head’s memory loss. It may have started out ‘regular’, but I feel that there might be an ‘outside force’ really suppressing a part of herself very deeply.”

Kari asks, “But why?”

Davis says, with a serious tone, “That’s a million dollar question, Kari.”

Ken says, with a serious expression, “I’ve got a bad feeling about why myself.”

Yolei asks, “Do you think that it could be similar to what happened to you? When Myotismon corrupted you with the Dark Spore?”

Ken says, “I hope not, Yolei.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “Well, if that’s the case, then like it or not, Sailor Moon needs our help!”

Sailor Uranus says, “True, but how do we help her? We have no idea who or what is restraining her from regaining her full memories.”

Sailor Mars says, “Well, it doesn’t matter to me! I don’t care if I have to knock those memories into Meatball Head! I’m getting her back and causing her such agony!”

The other Sailor Scouts nod their heads in agreement and Jack tells Kazuto, “Those girls are willing to fight their friend to bring her back from the dark, are you?” Kazuto holds his right hand while Asuna, Rika, and Keiko look at Kazuto in concern.

(At the North Pole; Later on)

Within the North Pole, we go into Kaguya’s chamber as she is absorbing energy and she gains an irritated look on her face.

Kaguya says, “How dare they? How dare they kill my loyal son? However, my child managed to get enough energy and small bit of phoenix flame to do this!” Soon after, a bright glow comes from the chamber containing Kaguya in which it shatters into bits and out of the chamber, a fully restored Kaguya, physical wise anyway, steps out of the chamber as Mimete enters the room.

Mimete asks, nervously, “Lady Kaguya?”

Kaguya responds, “Yes. My body is restored and most of my power has returned, but I haven’t regained my full strength. I need more power.”

Mimete responds, “Of course.”

As Mimete races off, Kaguya flexes her restored body and she says, “Soon, Serenity… you and Asuna will pay for what you have done and for destroying Zetsu, my only loyal son.”

(That evening; Returning to Hayabusa Village)

In the star filled night sky, Asuna goes over to Kazuto and while Rika and Keiko watch from the background, Asuna looks at him with concern.”

Kazuto tells Asuna, “Asuna…”

Asuna says, “Kirito-kun…”

Kazuto says, “It’s Kazuto now, but it’s okay, Asuna. Anyway, Asuna…”

Asuna tells Kazuto, “I know. All of us have lost comrades in SAO including Liz and myself. People that we want to give their lives back, but can’t. If there is a chance to save her, then you should take it.”

Kazuto says, amazed, “Asuna.”

Asuna tells Kazuto, lovingly, “But know that I’m always with you, Kirito-kun. And when you are fighting, so am I.” Kazuto warmly smiles and Asuna and Kazuto share a kiss in which Keiko sighs while Rika pouts a bit.

When they release from the kiss, Kazuto then asks, seemly to no one, “So, how long are you going to hide?” Everyone then looks to see Jack come out of the shadow of a tree.

Jack asks, “Have you made your choice, kid?”

Kazuto responds, “I already have. I’m going to fight for Sachi’s life and her soul.”

Jack responds, “Good answer, kid. Now, you haven’t been dueling for a while, so, I suspect that you need to get the rust out.”

Kazuto asks, “When do we start Atlas-dono?”

Jack replies, “Are you sure, kid? I’m going to be a merciless teacher. I’m not going to have my successor as a Signer is a weakling. He is going to be as powerful as a ‘king of duelist’, you know?! I’m going to make sure of that.”

Kazuto says, “I don’t care about that. I care about saving the life of someone that I failed to save. Someone that deserves a life more than others.”

Jack says, with a smirk, “At least you have the right attitude, kid. Once you get your deck, the training starts now.” Kazuto nods his head and Jack smiles as he walks away while elsewhere, Davis and Kari were looking at their Mark of the Dragon and thinking about TK as well as their determination to bring back their friend from the darkness.

However, Sakura is also looking up at the sky and she thinks, “Could it be true? Am I trying to ‘sever the past’, my past?” Some distance away, Tsunade, Shizune, and Ino are looking at Sakura.

Ino says, lowly, “Forehead…”

Shizune asks, “Is there anything that we can do?”

Tsunade responds, “This is something that she needs to do herself, Shizune.”

Ino says, “Sakura seems so conflicted.”

Tsunade says, “The scars of her past, both of them, are coming back to haunt her. Trista said that the people of the Sun Kingdom were like one huge family not just a ruling family and its people. She didn’t just remember the death of her immediate family, but a nation full of family members, Shizune.”

Ino says, “Geez! It would drive me insane!”

Tsunade says, “It is a major scar on Sakura’s heart that she doesn’t want anyone else to get. I must admit that she has proven to have the strength of heart that Naruto has or close to it. However, if she wants to defeat Sasuke, she needs to overcome this ‘scar’.”

Shizune asks, “You think that she can beat Sasuke?”

Tsunade responds, “I KNOW that she can. She has the power and potential like Naruto, but she has to overcome this ‘trial’, Shizune.” Shizune and Ino nod their heads in agreement as Jun, Renamon, and Lopmon come over to her and Sakura smiles at them.

And that’s the chapter, everyone! As you can see, the ‘heroes and heroines’ in this story are going to have to overcome things more than just the villains that they are facing in this story, folks! Anyway, now, you have an idea that Davis’ and Kari’s romance isn’t just here ‘in a snap’! It formed from the tragedy of what happened in-between the time-skip between New Moon Ninja and this story as seen by the prologue, folks. And now, Kaguya is back! Dun! Dun! Dun!
