With the other romances, I do have a few ‘stable’ romances, but while I am sure of Naruto/Hinata/Serena, I don’t know if I will go any further than that, however, for the time being, I’ll keep my options open, folks.

Chapter 16: Temporal Paradoxal Dueling

Right now, we join Naruto as he prepares to duel against Nightshroud and his deck while many others including Leaf ninja, Sailor Scouts, Digidestined, and their Digimon partners are watching in which they are in front of a building of the Satellite Sector which has been fused with the old Domino City of the past.

“Game on!” Naruto and Nightshroud yell out in unison as their duel begins.

Starting Scores:
Naruto: 4000
Nightshroud: 4000

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “I’ll start this duel off, kid!” Nightshroud says, putting one card on his duel disk, “This is Troop Dragon and he’ll be defending me!” Soon after, Troop Dragon (700/800) appears on the field in defense mode and Nightshroud says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And then I end with a face-down.”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn, Nightshroud!” Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Since you have monsters and I don’t, I can play Blackwing-Sirocco the Dawn in attack mode!” Blackwing-Sirocco the Dawn (2000/900) appears on the field in attack mode.

The former Signers, Yusei Fudo, Akiza, Jack Atlas, and Crow, are watching and Jack asks, surprised, “He has a Blackwing deck too?”

Crow says, with a grin, “My mark and my deck, huh? I don’t know to be insulted or flattered! Let’s see if this kid can be a real Blackwing duelist!”

Naruto says, putting two more cards on his duel disk, “And since I have a Blackwing out, I can play Blackwing-Gale the Whirlwind and Blackwing-Bora the Spear!” Just then Blackwing-Gale the Whirlwind (1300/400) and Blackwing-Bora the Spear (1700/800) appear on the field in attack mode.

Nightshroud asks, surprised, “Three monsters in one turn?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Believe it, jerk!”

Crow says, with a sly grin, “Hey, what do you know? This kid isn’t half bad!”

Naruto says, “And now, I use Sirocco the Dawn’s ability and focus his power and Gale’s power into Bora the Spear for this turn making him the only one to attack this turn too!” Gale the Whirlwind and Sirocco the Dawn focus their energy into Bora the Spear in which causes his stats to go from 1700/800 to 5000/800!

Nightshroud yells out, stunned, “Five grand in attack power?”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “And Bora the Spear inflicts piercing damage, pal! This duel is over! Bora, attack!” Bora the Spear unleashes a black spiral wave at Troop Dragon and vaporizes instantly.

Nightshroud says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Not with my Defense Draw trap card!” Nightshroud’s face-down card is a Defense Draw trap card and a shield protects him from Bora’s attack in which he says, “This trap card negates your battle damage and gives me the right to draw one more card!” When the shield fades away, Nightshroud draws a card. A card comes out of his deck and he says, putting the card on his duel disk, “And by the way, thanks to my Troop Dragon’s ability, I get a new one since you destroyed the one on the field!” Just then another Troop Dragon (700/800) appears on the field in defense mode.

Naruto says, “Then I tune my level three Gale the Whirlwind with my level five Sirocco the Dawn!” Gale the Whirlwind turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround it making it become transparent and then making a column of light appear on the field.

Nightshroud asks, “What’s this?”

Naruto says, as he gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, “Flash of light splits that sea of stars! Shake our souls and roar through the world! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and he yells out, “Meet one of my two newest pal! Stardust Spark Dragon!” Out of the column of light, Stardust Spark Dragon (2500/2000), the Duel Dragon form of Stardust Dragon, appears on the field in attack mode.

There are multiple gasps and Jack says, “That’s…”

Yusei says, with a nod, “Stardust Dragon’s Duel Dragon form!”

Naruto winches a bit and he thinks, “That shadow stuff really messes with your head, but I won’t let it beat me, believe it!”

Nightshroud asks, “What is this? I’ve never seen such a summoning before! What trick is this?!”

Naruto responds, “No trick, pal! This is a Synchro Summon and you are about to find out what’s up!” Naruto puts one card into the spell/trap slots and he says, “I play Pot of Greed and draw two more cards!” Naruto draws two cards, puts one on his duel disk, and he says, “And since I drew him with a card effect, I can play Blackwing-Breeze the Zephyr directly from my hand!” Blackwing-Breeze the Zephyr (1100/300) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And now, I tune him with Bora the Spear!” Breeze the Zephyr then turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Bora the Spear, making it become transparent, and when a column of light appears on the field, Naruto takes out a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck and puts it on his duel disk in which he yells out, “Let’s rock, Blackwing Armor Master!” Out of the column of light, Blackwing Armor Master (2500/1500) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto says, putting three cards into the spell/trap slots, “And I end my turn with three face-downs!”

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “My move!” Nightshroud says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate Monster Reborn to revive my Troop Dragon!” Just then the first Troop Dragon (700/800) reappears on the field in defense mode and Nightshroud says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Then I release them to play my Red-Eyes Black Dragon in attack mode!” Both Troop Dragons vanish and Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Nightshroud then says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play my Inferno Fire Blast! By stopping my dragon from attack this turn, you take damage equal to Red-Eyes’ original attack points!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon unleashes a dark fireball that slams into Naruto and he yelps out in pain as he loses 2400 life-points.

Sailor Star and Sailor Moon yell out in unison, horrified, “Naruto-kun!”

Minato and Tsunade shout out in unison, shocked, “Naruto, no!”

ShineGreymon says, stunned, “Boss, no!”

Nightshroud says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “And the pain keeps coming with Heavy Storm and destroying your face down cards!” A huge windstorm hits the field and Naruto’s face-down cards, revealed to be trap cards known as Blackwing-Booby trap, are destroyed.

Naruto says, with a grin, “I’m not the one getting the pain. Since you destroyed my Blackwing-Booby trap cards while face-down and I have a Blackwing on the field, you get slammed with one thousand points of damage and since there were three, it is three grand that you are going to get hit with!”

Nightshroud yells out, stunned, “What?!” Just then Nightshroud roars out as a huge feather storm slams into him and ripping into his coat and he suffers a few cuts as well while losing 3000 life-points.

Naruto says, drawing three cards, “By the way, I also gain three new cards since my trap also allows me to draw a card.”

Kiba yells out, with a sly grin, “Nice one, Naruto!”

Nightshroud gains a dark aura and he yells out, angrily, “Now, I’m mad! I release my Red-Eyes Black Dragon in order to play my ultimate monster!” Nightshroud puts a card on his duel disk and he shouts out, “Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!” Dark flames surround Red-Eyes Black Dragon and it transforms into Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000) in attack mode. Nightshroud says, “And thanks to its power, all the dragons in my grave give it three hundred extra attack points and that means big trouble for you!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon then goes from 2400/2000 to 3300/2000 and Nightshroud roars out, “Darkness Dragon, attack! Inferno Dark Fire!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon unleashes a powerful dark flames at Stardust Spark Dragon.

Naruto yells out, “I activate my Spark Dragon’s ability! Once per turn, he can make one card indestructible! I choose Spark Dragon himself! Sonic Barrier!” Stardust Spark Dragon creating a barrier that causes Darkness Dragon’s flames to pass right by it and hit Naruto in which he yelps as he is burned while losing 800 life-points.

Nightshroud says, with an evil smirk, “Too bad that you still take the damage!” Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “One more turn, kid! And it is game over!”

Nightshroud: 1000

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “It is already game over, pal! For you!”

Nightshroud retorts, “Nonsense! You can’t bluff me!”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It isn’t a bluff, pal! Let me show you!” Naruto says, “Armor Master, attack Darkness Dragon!”

As Blackwing Armor Master flies and slams his fist into Darkness Dragon, Nightshroud yells out, with an evil smile, “Your monster has no chance against my Darkness Dragon! It’s a dead duck!”

Crow then says, slyly, “Too bad that Armor Master can’t be destroyed in battle and its controller takes no damage!” Armor Master leaps away from Darkness Dragon, but leaving a small sharp wedge piercing Darkness Dragon’s body.

Naruto says, “And to add to the fun, it puts a wedge counter on that monster and if I remove it, the monster loses all attack and defense power!”

Nightshroud shouts out, stunned, “No!” He then sees his Darkness Dragon crack apart as the wedge goes into Darkness Dragon’s body as it goes from 3300/2000 to a powerless 0/0 soon after! Nightshroud shouts out, in disbelief, “It can’t be!”

Naruto yells out, “It can! Spark Dragon, end this duel now! Attack Darkness Dragon with Shooting Blast!” Stardust Spark Dragon unleashes of a powerful blast that goes through Darkness Dragon and Nightshroud roars out in pain as Darkness Dragon explodes, engulfing him in smoke and dust, while he loses 2500 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

Final Score:
Naruto: 800
Nightshroud: 0

With the end of the duel, the final ‘holograms’ fade away and the dark barrier around the building that Sugou and Professor Frank are in fade away.

Tenten says, excitedly, “He did it!”

Jiraiya says, with a smirk, “Not surprising considering who it is.”

Ino says, with a pout, “Man! It took us two years to become such good duelists! Naruto has done it in weeks!”

Sailor Moon and Sailor Star go over to Naruto and Sailor Star asks, concerned, “Are you okay, Naruto-kun?”

Naruto responds, massaging his body, “I’m okay, Star-chan, believe it.”

ShineGreymon asks, “Are you sure, boss?”

Naruto replies, with a foxy smirk, “Believe it, ShineGreymon.”

Dianamon, Sailor Moon’s Mega level Digimon partner, asks, pointing ahead, “Hold on, what’s that?” When everyone looks where Dianamon is pointing, they see the smoke clear and Nightshroud is there without his mask to reveal that he is a young man wearing a senior male Obelisk Blue student uniform.

Sora asks, “Is that Nightshroud?”

Sailor Mars says, “The real person under the ‘mask of Nightshroud’. He was under the control of a ‘dark force’, I can sense it.”

Sailor Uranus says, “Sailor Mars is right. The ill wind around him wasn’t his own.”

Davis says, “It shouldn’t be surprising considering who we are dealing with.”

Tai says, with a nod, “Good point, Davis.”

Just then a female voice shouts out, “Atticus!” Everyone then looks to see a young woman of about 18 years of age with long dark blond hair, brown eyes, wearing a Duel Academy Island female Obelisk Blue uniform, and a pair of dark blue fingerless gloves on her hands runs up over to the person that Naruto was just dueling as Nightshroud. The young woman kneels in front of the young man and she asks, pleadingly, “Atti, are you okay?”

Kazuto asks, “Do you know this person?”

The young woman looks at our group and she says, with a narrowing glare, “What happened here? If you are the ones that did this to my brother…”

Sailor Celestial asks, surprised, “Your brother?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Hold up! This guy was dueling me in a nasty Shadow Game calling himself Nightshroud!”
The young woman gasps and she asks, stunned, “Nightshroud?” The young woman says, concerned, “Oh no. Not again.”
Sailor Uranus asks, with a glare, “Again?”

Before this can do anything further, there is a male voice that shouts out, “Alexis!” Everyone then looks to see Jaden, Yugi, and Atem running up towards them.

The young woman asks, “Jaden?”

Jaden comes over to the young woman and young man and he asks, “Whoa, Alexis, what happened to Atticus?”

The young woman responds, curiously, “Jaden, why are there two of Yugi Moto with you?”

Jaden responds, nervously, “That’s a long story, Lex.”

Yolei says, “This day has been getting weirder and weirder.”

Mimi asks, “When has anything been ‘normal’ for us, Yolei?”

Yolei responds, with a nod, “That’s a good point, Mimi.”

Ino asks Sailor Venus, “Same for you?”

Sailor Venus says, “Pretty much, Ino.”

Sailor Neptune tells Sailor Pluto, “I guess that you were right, Pluto. The past and our present have been fused together.”

Atem looks at the group and he asks the Sailor Scouts, “Who are you? And why are you dressed in the uniforms of the Sailor Soldiers?”

Yugi asks, “Sailor Soldiers, Atem?”

Atem tells Yugi, “Yes, Yugi. Back in my time as Pharaoh in ancient Egypt, Earth wasn’t the only populated planet in our solar system. In fact, all of the planets from Mercury to Pluto were populated by advanced civilizations, kingdoms as a matter of fact, which were allied together with the leader of these ‘planetary kingdoms’ being an advanced civilization on Earth’s moon.”

Jaden says, with a gasp, “No way!”

Yubel tells Jaden, mentally, “It’s true, Jaden. It was known as the Silver Alliance and over one thousand years ago, it was in a golden age known as the Silver Millennium, a time of great peace and prosperity until an evil force known as the Negaverse destroyed the Lunarian kingdom and the planetary kingdoms among others in which the last queen of the Moon Kingdom used a crystal of great cosmic power to seal the evil away ensuring the survival of all life, especially human, on planet Earth.”

Sailor Uranus yells out, with a glare, “Hey, how do you know about that?”

Sailor Pluto tells Sailor Uranus, “Easy, Sailor Uranus.”

Jaden then spots Yusei and he says, “Hey, Yusei!”

Yusei says, “It has been awhile, Jaden.”

Jaden asks, with a grin, “Yeah, it has. I guess we’re in your time, right?”

Yusei says, “It looks like more your time has been fused with my time, Jaden.”

Crow asks, “Friend of yours, Yusei?”

Yusei says, “Yeah, I told you about him when I went into the past to stop Paradox from changing history.”

Alexis asks Jaden, “Jaden, do you know what’s going on?”

Jaden responds, “Well…” But then some of the others ‘sensed’ something wrong and they see a glint from the shadows.

Sailor Neptune shouts out, “Watch out!” Just then a huge blast of flames comes from the shadows and Sailor Moon leaps forwards to protect everyone with an energy wall.

Just then an evil female voice shouts out, “Not bad, Moon brat! You have gained a few new tricks!”

Sailor Jupiter says, “That voice!”

Out of the shadows, Eudial of the Heart Snatchers walk out with a high-tech flamethrower with two nozzles connected to the tanks with a nozzle attached to arm and she says, “That’s right, Sailor Dweebs!”

Sailor Uranus says, annoyed, “Oh, great.”

Sailor Mars asks, stunned, “Eudial?!”

Eudial says, “That’s right, Sailor Failures! You thought that I was dead when Mimete betrayed me, but I managed to survive, thanks to a special drug that enhanced my stamina and healing capabilities! I had to go into hiding ever since, but I have nothing to go back to since you destroyed my glorious leaders, Mistress Nine and Pharaoh Ninety!”

Sailor Venus says, “We kind of have a thing of world conquering monsters that try to destroy all of humanity to take over our planet!”

Eudial yells out, “Well, after I take care of you, I will get my payback against Mimete and turn this world into the new Tau Star System! Now, die!” Eudial unleashes a huge surge of flames in which Sailor Moon blocks with a shield!

Sailor Moon says, “Not on your life, you fiend!”

Eudial shouts out, “I’ve waited for this day for years, Sailor Moon! Now, it is time to get rid you once and for all! Taste the power of my Fire Buster Mark Four!” The power of the stream of flames increases and Sailor Moon strains to hold it back.

Naruto says, “I don’t think so, bitch!” Naruto takes the Star Saber out of its sheath and swings it into the ground, creating an energy wave that heads for Eudial, and forcing her to stop her attack in which she leaps high into the air.

Eudial shouts out, “You brat! You are going to pay for that!” Eudial unleashes her flamethrower’s flames at Naruto, but Naruto already has his response ready.

“Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!”

Naruto unleashes a breath of flames from his mouth that turn into a massive fireball that slam into Eudial’s flames and the two attacks negate each other out.

Eudial shouts out, confused, “What?”

“Eight Trigram Air Palm!”

Before she could say or do anything, she gets hit in the waist by a blast of intense air pressure that sends her flying into the side of the building causing a major ‘dent’ in the building structure in which we can see came from Sailor Star with an active Byakugan.

Eudial growls as she gets to her feet, “That hurt!”

Sailor Moon says, “And this is going to hurt even worse, you slime!”

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

After inserting the cards and letting her Legendium broach’s mirror shine on her, Sailor Moon appears in her ‘Black Swordsman’ form and prepares to fight Eudial.

Eudial says, “Ooh, a ‘Goth girl’, I’m so scared!”

Sailor Moon says, “You will be Eudial! Aincard! Equip! Flare Blazer!” Just then a brand new sword, one that looks like Tidus’ Brotherhood sword from Final Fantasy X, but with fiery orange-red blade, appears on her back and she draws it.

Eudial says, “A big fat sword! An overgrown toothpick doesn’t stand a chance against my Fire Buster!” Eudial unleashes her flames from her flamethrower at Sailor Moon, but she doesn’t get out of the way.

Sailor Mars shouts out, “You Meatball Head, what are you doing?! Get out of the way or protect yourself!” When the flames get close to Sailor Moon, she swipes it with her sword, ‘cutting’ the flames in half, and dispelling them much to the shock of many people.

Sailor Celestial says, stunned, “No way!”

Matt says, “I believe that the term is ‘yes way’ with her!”

Sailor Moon says, with a grin, “My Flare Blazer is special sword designed against flame attacks especially your Fire Buster since my dad knew that you were there working secretly in MBI!”

Eudial asks, shocked, “Your dad?”

Sailor Moon responds, “He is the CEO.”

Eudial gasps and she yells out, “Wait! That… That means that you knew about me the whole time and you were preparing for me!”

Naruto says, “Believe it, you witch! That’s why we created that sword! It was special just for you! We didn’t want to get any innocent people hurt, so, we were waiting for this moment!”

Sailor Moon says, “And now, your goose is cooked, Eudial!”

Sailor Moon then charges in for the attack and Eudial yelps out, “Get away from me!” She attacks with her Fire Buster and unleashes more flames, but Sailor Moon’s new sword easily negates them and Eudial ducks up a swipe from the sword when Sailor Moon gets into close range.

Sailor Moon says, with a grin, “Gotcha!” Sailor Moon then spins around and slashes the flamethrower itself causing it spark and shudder from the damage that Sailor Moon just inflicted on it.

Eudial yells out, flabbergasted, “Oh no! What have you done?!”

Sailor Star says, “Naruto-kun!”

Naruto says, “Right!” Naruto and Sailor Star then leap over to the others and create shields while Sailor Moon leaps out of the way as Eudial screams as her flamethrower explodes in a massive explosion covering the area in a lot of smoke and dust.

Sailor Venus says, “She got her!”

Sailor Jupiter says, “That’s amazing!”

Sailor Sun says, “Don’t count on that witch just yet.” As the smoke and dust clear, Naruto and Sailor Star let down their energy shields and Sailor Sun asks, “And how did you learn to use such techniques?”

Sailor Celestial asks, “What do you mean?”

Kakashi says, Sharingan active, “Those were chakra energy fields similar to Sakura’s new special attacks.”

There were gasps and Ino says, “No way! I thought that only she could use since she developed them!”

Lee says, “It doesn’t look like that way anymore, Tenten.” But then out of the smoke and dust, Eudial, completely on fire in a cartoon fashion, is scream and leaping around.

Eudial yells out, “I’m on fire! I’m on fire!” Eudial screams again as she rolls around and she puts out the flames on her body.

Yolei asks, stunned, “She is still alive?!”

Ken says, “Something tells me that she isn’t human.”

Sailor Mercury says, “She isn’t, Ken. At least, she isn’t a normal human.” When Eudial has put out the flames, her hair has gone what’s known as an afro style in which Sailor Venus, Sailor Jupiter, and Davis laugh at her, Naruto and Sailor Star giggle, and Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune smirk at her.

Sailor Uranus asks, slyly, “Quite the trend setter, huh?”

Sailor Neptune says, with a sly smile, “Oh, yes, Uranus.”

Eudial asks, confused, “Huh?” Eudial takes out a mirror from seemly nowhere and she screams out in horror at her hair. Eudial shouts out, “My hair! My beautiful hair! It’s ruined!”

Sailor Uranus responds, with a sly smirk, “I don’t know, I think that it is perfect for you.”

Sailor Moon says, with a sly grin, “It just says ‘Mega Nega Loser’ perfectly!”

Eudial yells out, angrily, “How dare you ruin my gorgeous locks?! You never mess with a woman’s hair! Take this!” Eudial then breathes fire from her mouth that seemly slam into Sailor Moon, hard, causing a lot of the others to gasp, but as Eudial smirks, ‘Sailor Moon’ vanishes in a puff of smoke causing her to ask confused, “Huh?”
Sailor Moon’s voice rings out, “Missed me, slime ball!” Eudial whips around to the source of the voice to see Sailor Moon and Naruto in front of her with a huge sphere of chakra in their hands.

“Giant Rasengan!”

They slam the massive sphere of chakra and Eudial screams out as the sphere rips into her in which she is then sent flying into the building where she goes through the wall around the entrance, which is made of reinforced concrete, and goes flying into the building with a massive ‘crash’ causing some smoke and dust to come out of the huge hole that she just made.

Kakashi says, “It seems like Lady Serena has learned the Shadow Clone and Rasengan from Naruto.”

Sailor Sun says, with a grin, “Which means that she is more of a pain in the ass.” Sailor Moon and Naruto then start to walk over, but then some kind of tentacle comes out and seemly right at them.

Sailor Star shouts out, “Look out!” Naruto and Sailor Moon turn around only to have the tentacle looming at them, but then the tentacles throws them out of the way and wraps around Atem, restricting him!

Yugi says, shocked, “Atem!” However, before Yugi can do anything, Atem was yanked over to the hole in which Eudial, with a blood coming out of multiple cuts, a nasty gash in her waist, and also bleeding from her mouth, comes up in which the ‘tentacle’ is connected to her back.

Eudial tells Sailor Moon and Naruto, “You! I hate you, Sailor Moon! I can’t wait to erase you from existence!”

Naruto says, “Not in this or any lifetime you freak!”

Yugi says, “Let Atem go now!”

Eudial responds, “Not on your life, little ‘King of Games’! I have need of your Pharaoh friend here.”

Alexis asks, lowly, “Pharaoh?”
Atem asks, “What do you want from me?”

Eudial replies, “Let me explain! You remember Paradox, don’t you?”

Yusei asks, “Paradox? What does he have to do with this?”

Eudial responds, “All that time traveling left plenty of temporal energy that we could use for one thing and all that time travel allowed us to fuse the past with our present.”

Jack says, “You are responsible for this!”

Akiza asks, “What’s the point of all this?”

Eudial responds, “To get what we need to reshape reality of course! My little ‘human helper’, Sugou Nobuyuki, is proving quite useful for a human. Anyway, we managed to get our hands on three cards that even Maxamillion Pegasus feared to fully create! The Wicked God cards!”

There are gasps and Atem asks, “Wicked God cards?”

Eudial responds, “That’s right, Pharaoh. They were created after Pegasus created yours and little Yugi’s God Cards in order to be a counter to the Egyptian God Cards!”

There are more gasps and Yugi asks, “Counter the Egyptian God Cards?”

Eudial retorts, “Is there an echo? That’s right, fool! But they became much more than that! Maxamillion Pegasus became so fearful of them that he sealed them away and he was glad that you and your Pharaoh gained control of those cards! However, we aren’t afraid and we have brought those cards into existence!”

There are multiple gasps and Crow says, “You’re kidding!”

Eudial responds, “Do I look like I’m kidding? Anyway, they are just one half of what we need. We need the powers of Chaos and Harmony in order to complete our plans. The Wicked God Cards are incarnation of Chaos and in order to complete our plans, we need a just as strong power of Harmony.”

Atem says, shocked, “My Egyptian Gods!”

Eudial responds, “Bingo, Pharaoh! And since we can’t use them due to the fact that none of us have any connection to you or your time, we need someone that is and that’s where you come in! Think of the God Cards are the uranium in a nuclear reactor and you are the control rod to allow us to control their power!”

Atem says, strongly, “Never!”

Atem attempts to use the power of his Millennium Puzzle and Eudial says, “I don’t think so, Pharaoh!” Eudial then pulls out what looks like the Pyramid of Light, but the eye is purely gold instead of being red in the center, and she uses its power to negate the power of Millennium Puzzle.

Yugi asks, “The Pyramid of Light? But we destroyed it! How can it be possible?”

Eudial says, “It is because that Anubis’ Pyramid of Light wasn’t the real one! That was Aknadin’s attempt to replicate the Millennium Puzzle. The real one, here, is a counter to the other seven Millennium Items!”

Yugi asks, “Counter the Millennium Items?”

Atem says, “It is the truth, Yugi! Long ago, this item was created to counter the Shadow Powers of the other Millennium Items in case they got out of control, but it was given to the queen of the Lunarian kingdom that I just mentioned for safe keeping.”

Sailor Mars asks, “Say what?”

Sailor Pluto says, “It is the truth, but the item mysterious disappeared at the end of the Silver Millennium.”

Eudial says, “Well, I have it now and the Pharaoh’s Puzzle is now worthless!”

Atem says, “You may have me, but my God Cards will never be used by you and this madman that you are working with!” Just then Atem’s duel disk glows and he yells out, “Obelisk! Slifer! Ra! Go to those that you deem worthy of your power and escape now!” Just then three cards shoot out of Atem’s deck and goes into decks of Sailor Moon, Naruto, and Sailor Star.

Naruto asks, confused, “What the?!” Just then Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000) appears behind Naruto, Slifer the Sky Dragon (X000/X000) appears behind Sailor Star, and Winged Dragon of Ra (????/????) appears behind Sailor Moon.

Kazuto says, stunned, “No way! The Egyptian God Monsters!”

Sailor Celestial asks, shocked, “You have got to be kidding me, right?”

Eudial snarls in anger and she says, looking at Atem, “You better be glad that we still need you or I would gut you now!”

Atem responds, with a smirk, “Go ahead! It isn’t the first time that I died to protect the world from evil like you!”

Eudial asks, snapping her fingers, “You may not care about your own life, but what about these people?” Soon after, a holographic screen showing Yugi’s and Atem’s friends, Tea Gardner, Joey Wheeler, and Tristan Taylor are lying down on beds with NervGears over their heads.

Yugi says, shocked, “Tristan! Tea! Joey!”

Sailor Mercury says, “They have NervGears on them!”

Eudial says, “How astute! It is a good thing that before I worked at MBI! I worked at Argus just before the little old ‘SAO incident’ and got my hands on some useful tech including those wonderful NervGears which includes the typical brain frying microwaves!”

Atem asks, stunned, “What?”

Kazuto sneers at Eudial and she says, “But unlike your typical ones, the ‘kill switch’ on them can be triggered by ‘remote’ and here it is!” Eudial then snaps a collar around Atem’s neck and she says, with an evil smile, “This is a sensor that detects your brainwaves and heartbeats and if your heartbeats and brainwaves stop, like when you die, it activates those devices on their heads and their brains became fried eggs!”

Sailor Uranus says, angrily, “You bitch!”

Eudial puts Atem in front of her and she says, “Hold it, Sailor Failure! Unless you want to kill four people in a day, I suggest that you stand back!”

Sailor Jupiter tells Eudial, “You are a coward!”

Eudial says, “Whatever! You had better bring those God Cards or Yugi’s precious friends are toast! And who knows? That might change the course of history! Bye now!” Eudial then teleports away with Atem in tow.

Yugi says, “No, Atem!”

Crow asks, “Oh, great! Now, what?”

Sailor Moon tells Yugi, “Yugi-san, we’ll get your friend back.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Believe it!”

Sailor Moon says, “Naruto… Sailor Star… Let’s go!”

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “Right.”

Dianamon says, “We had better return to our Rookie forms.”

ShineGreymon says, “No joke, Dianamon. Look at us. We would demolish the place.” ShineGreymon and Dianamon glow as they de-digivolve back into Agumon (N) and Lunamon.

Sailor Mars says, “Hold it, Meatball head!” Sailor Mars leaps into the air and lands in front of Sailor Moon, Sailor Star, Naruto, and their two Digimon.

Sailor Moon asks, “What the heck are you doing Mars?”

Sailor Mars responds, “Stopping you from going into an obvious trap, Meatball Head!”

Naruto says, “No duh that it is trap, but Yugi-san’s friends are in trouble and we need to help them!”

Sailor Uranus says, “And walk in with three of the most powerful cards in Duel Monster’s history which has the power to destroy the world, that’s smart!”

Yolei says, “And I thought that Davis had a thick skull.”

Davis tells Yolei, with a glare, “Do you really want me to answer that four eyes?!”

Ken says, nervously, “Easy, Davis.”

Kazuto says, “I thought that Sugou was a fiend before, but he is completely gone off the deep end.”

Sailor Celestial says, “No kidding! He could destroy the very fabric of reality!”

Jack says, “I don’t think that he would care as long as he gets what he wants.”

Sailor Sun says, “Typical nutjob villain.”

Alexis asks, “Excuse me? Can someone tell me what’s going on here?”

Jaden says, nervously, “It is a long story, Lex. And even I don’t know the full story.”

Sailor Sun says, “Sorry we can’t give you the full load down because we have a couple of nuts to stop.”

Yugi says, “I’m coming too!”

Sailor Pluto says, “Yugi-san, we can’t allow that. If something happens to you now, we aren’t sure what will happen to history.”
Yugi says, “My friends need me! I can’t just abandon them!”

Jaden says, “I’ll come with you, Yugi!”

Plenty of people look at Jaden in surprise and Yusei tells Jaden, “Jaden, you can’t! This is dangerous!”

Jaden says, with a smirk, “Hey, I’ve been in some life or death situations before!” Jaden says, looking at Atticus, “And I think that if Atticus is here, my own friends could be in here and in trouble.”

Naruto asks, “You are friends with this guy?”

Jaden says, “Yep!” Naruto then explains about what happened and Jaden asks, stunned and looking at Atticus’ unconscious form, “Nightshroud?!”

Sailor Moon asks, “You know something?”

Jaden says, “Big time and that’s so not sweet. It’s a long story. If Nightshroud is involved, I’m getting involved.”

Sailor Mars says, “You can’t be serious.”

Davis sighs and he says, “We don’t have time to argue right now. Right now, reality is out of whack and we need to fix before it causes permanent damage.”

Kazuto says, “Davis is right. The longer we wait, the harder it will be to reserve. I had really thought that Sugou was insane, but this really shows the depth of his insanity!”

Sailor Uranus says, “If someone doesn’t have any qualms about messing with people’s minds, then he doesn’t have any inhibitions about doing anything unless it destroys themselves!”

Davis says, “And that means we need to go in now.”

Akiza says, “I’ll stay here with this guy. I learning to be a doctor.”

Yusei says, “That’s a good idea, Akiza.”

Sailor Sun says, “Let’s move already!” Through with some reluctance, the group started to move into the building with Sailor Moon, Sailor Sun, Naruto, Davis, Kari, Sailor Star, Lunamon, Renamon, Agumon (N), Veemon, and Gatomon leading the way inside.

(At MBI headquarters; on the meanwhile)

Inside of MBI headquarters, Geminios and Queen Serenity are motioning the situation at the Satellite sector of Neo Domino City.

Geminios says, “This man is truly insane.”

Queen Serenity says, “He could destroy the fabric of our universe.”

Geminios says, “Indeed. However, a man that attempts to control the human spirit and wishes to be a deity shouldn’t be underestimated.”

Queen Serenity says, with a nod, “I know, my love. However, I don’t understand on how the enemy got the true Pyramid of Light from where we had contained it.”

Geminios asks, “Could it have been possible that the destruction of the Moon Kingdom have spread many artifacts all over the Earth, Serenity?”

Queen Serenity says, with a nod, “I fear that you may be Geminios. And with the Pyramid of Light, the Pharaoh is powerless.”

Geminios says, “At least the modifications that I have made to the Neuro-Linkers of our daughters and Naruto work well to handle this distortion.”

Queen Serenity says, with a nod, “Yes, but we can’t be sure to one extent.”
Geminios says, “We need to believe in their strength, my darling.” Queen Serenity nods her head in agreement, but can’t help to be concerned for children and the reincarnation of a very close friend’s son.

(Back within Satellite; Later on)

Inside of the building where Sugou and his ‘associates’ are holding out, Atem is strapped down to a high tech medical style table and he has lost the Millennium Puzzle which is in floating sphere of energy while Tea, Joey, and Tristan are also strapped down to tables with NervGears on their heads while Professor Frank enters the room.

Professor Frank says, “I hope that your accommodations aren’t too harsh.”

Atem responds, “I’ve had better.”

Professor Frank says, “Forgive me. I am Professor Frank and I am a former associate of an organization of Yliaster, which is of no importance, but I am an associate of the man wishing to use the powers of the Wicked God Cards and your God Cards to gain ultimate power.”

Atem asks, “And what do you get out of this?”

Professor Frank says, “I will get the power to go to the realm of the Duel Monsters.”

Atem asks, “The realm of the Duel Monsters?”

Professor Frank responds, with a nod, “That’s right, your majesty. You see, Duel Monsters don’t just live in the Shadow Realm, but they have their own world where they live in peace. I intend to go to that world and make it my own in order gain control of its vast power.”

Atem says, with a sneer, “I see! You are just another power hungry fiend! If the Duel Monsters have their own world and they live in peace, they should be left in peace!”

Professor Frank says, shaking his head, “I see that you are one of those ‘noble heroes’ that can’t see the possibilities, your majesty.”

Atem responds, “I can see enough, professor. And I can assure you that yours and the mad plan of the person that you are working for won’t succeed!”

Professor Frank says, “We shall see, Atem-san.”

Atem asks, strongly, “Now, answer me: What have you done to my friends?”

Professor Frank says, “Right now, their minds are inside of a virtual world.”

Atem asks, surprised, “A virtual world?”

Professor Frank says, “This must remind of you of your battles with the Big Five and yes, I know all too well of your duels with Yugi Moto back in the day.”

Atem says, sarcastically, “How interesting. A fan.”

Professor Frank responds, “Now, who wouldn’t be a fan of the ‘King of Games’… both of them?” Professor Frank says, with a plain tone, “As we already well know, Seto Kaiba abandoned the technology because of the damage that the Big Five had done to this virtual reality game, but what Seto Kaiba didn’t know is that he had invented the prototype of what we know as Full-Dive technology.” Professor Frank then explains to Atem about Full-Dive technology including the NervGear.

When he is done, Atem says, “I see. This is exactly much like what Kaiba developed back during my days with Yugi, but this technology is much more portable and can be used in the home rather requiring a specialized booth.” Atem says, with a glare, “And you are abusing it to keep my friends prisoner in a virtual prison and doing who knows what with their minds!”

Professor Frank says, “Actually, Atem-san, we aren’t the first to do this. In fact, the creator of the NervGear himself did something like this on a grand scale and making him one of the infamous people in our world today.”

Atem asks, surprised, “What?”

Professor Frank says, “A story for another day. Now, we must retrieve those God cards that you gave to the Moon Princess, her sister, and her friend.”

Atem says, “I was right. That woman is of the Lunarian royal family.”

Professor Frank responds, “The great-granddaughter or great-great-granddaughter of the Moon Queen that you knew, your majesty. Farewell for now, Pharaoh Atem.” Soon after, Professor Frank leaves the room and Atem struggles against the bonds, but he quickly realizes that it is useless.

Atem thinks in his mind, “And I can’t even get in contact with Yugi. The Millennium Puzzle is what bound us together and with it, I have a mental link with Yugi, but now that I’m separated from my puzzle, I can’t establish that link and inform Yugi of the situation. I’m sorry, my friend, but you are on your own with the warriors that I saw outside. That woman with the crescent moon is a member of the Lunarian royal family and that must mean that she has the Imperium Silver Crystal, a power greater than all seven Millennium Items combined, but that feeling and the other crescent moon on her forehead. I sense darkness inside of her and I’m not sure if she is friend or foe, but I will have to trust my God Cards with their choice.” Elsewhere in the building, Sailor Moon, Sailor Star, Hanabi, Sailor Pluto, and Kakashi were each using their dojutsu, Sharingan for Kakashi and Byakugan for the others, to try to find the hostages, but they are having no luck.

Sailor Star says, deactivating her Byakugan, “The space-time distortion in this area makes our dojutsu useless.”

Kakashi says, deactivating his Sharingan, “I have to agree.”

Jaden says, “It’s incredible! You have X-ray eyes! That’s so sweet!”

Yugi says, “People have always argued if there is life out there in the universe. I just didn’t expect it to be human life.”

Sailor Neptune says, “Well, you learn something new every single day.”

Sailor Uranus asks, “What about you, Neptune?”

Sailor Neptune says, holding her Aqua Mirror, “No, my mirror is worthless due to the chaotic situation.”

Sailor Pluto says, “I thought as much, Neptune.”

Sailor Moon asks Sailor Star, pointing to the back of her neck, “Star?”

Sailor Star responds, in a whisper, “No good. They can still monitor us, but we have no communication back home.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “Great.” Just then the whole area starts to warp again and everyone gasps in shock.

Yolei says, “Not again!”

Sailor Pluto says, “Be careful everyone!” The whole area then warps into the inside of Obelisk Arena within Duel Academy Island back in Jaden Yuki’s time.

Jaden says, “No way! This is Obelisk Arena on Duel Academy Island!”

Just then a male voice says, “That’s correct, Jaden Yuki.” Everyone whips to the sound of the voice to see Paradox in front of them.

Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei say in unison, “Paradox!”

Paradox says, “It has been some time, but not for me.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a glare, “You have some nerve to show your face to me, Paradox. After what you and Z-one did, you should consider yourselves glad that I didn’t interfere and put you an eternal time prison.”

Paradox says, “But your hands were tied against us, Time Guardian.”

Sailor Pluto says, “Not this time.”

Paradox says, “As much as I am glad for Yusei Fudo ensuring that our horrible future doesn’t happen, it just created an alternate future while my future remains. While I don’t wish to work with such a madman, he hasn’t given me much choice in the matter. I will get those God Cards.”

Sailor Pluto says, “We always have a choice. You just made the wrong one.”

Sailor Moon leaps up, displays her duel disk with her dueling deck inside, and she says, “I’ll take you on, Paradox.”

Sailor Venus asks, surprised, “Sailor Moon?”

Paradox tells Sailor Moon, “You are bold, your majesty.”

Sailor Moon activates her duel disk and she says, “Let’s just say that I’m not the same old Sailor Moon anymore.”

Sailor Mars thinks in her mind, “That’s a major understatement.” Paradox activates his duel disk and platform that goes with it, their dueling decks are shuffled, and after their duel disks’ life-point counters display 4000 life-points for each duelist, they draw five cards from their respective decks.

“Duel!” Sailor Moon and Paradox say in unison as their duel begins.

Paradox says, drawing a card, “Thank you.” Paradox says, putting one card into his Field Spell slot, “I activate my Malefic World!” The field then transforms into some kind of chaotic cosmic space and Paradox says, “And now, I can take out three random Malefic cards from my deck, force you to pick one, and that card goes into my hand while the rest get reshuffled into my deck. I can do this instead of conduct my Draw Phase.” Paradox then takes three cards from his deck, one Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, and he says, discarding them, “And now, I remove my Cyber End Dragon, my Rainbow Dragon, my Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and my Red-Eyes Black Dragon from deck and Extra Deck and remove them from play!” Paradox puts four cards on his duel disk and he says, “And now, I can play Malefic Cyber End Dragon, Malefic Rainbow Dragon, Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Soon after, Malefic Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800), Malefic Rainbow Dragon (4000/0), Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500), and Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appear on the field in attack mode.

There are gasps and Jaden says, “I saw this coming.”

Yugi says, “Four monsters at once?! I’ve seen his wicked Malefic deck in action, but I didn’t expect this!”

Sailor Celestial asks, “How can she take on four powerful monsters at once?”

Paradox says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “It is left to be seen, Sailor Guardian.”

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “My move!” Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Card Destruction! Now, we both discards are hands and redraw the same number of cards from our decks!” Sailor Moon discards five cards, draws five new ones, and she says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then discard two from my hand!” Sailor Moon draws three cards and then discards two from her hand.

Paradox asks, “Trying to get a better hand, your majesty?”

Sailor Moon responds, with a sly smile, “No, just allowing my monsters to set you up for your downfall! This duel is over and I just won!”

There are gasps of surprise and Sailor Sun asks, surprised, “Say what?”

Sailor Moon says, putting one card on her duel disk, “First, I start with my Debris Dragon in attack mode!” Soon after, Debris Dragon (1000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon says, “And now, I can revive one monster with five hundred attack points or less! And I choose Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Drafts!” Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Drafts (500/1800) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon says, “And now, I tune level four Debris Dragon with my level three Dragon Ruler of Drafts!” Debris Dragon turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Drafts, making it become transparent, and causing a column of light to appear on the field. Sailor Moon takes a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck and she chants out, “The holy light of protection, shine now and become eternal life! Synchro Summon!” Sailor Moon puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk and she says, “It’s time to shine, Ancient Fairy Dragon!” Out of the light, Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Yusei, Jack, and Crow are amazed and Crow says, “It looks like we were right! She has Ancient Fairy too!”

Sailor Moon says, as her Mark of the Dragon appears on her right arm, “Now, Ancient Fairy, destroy his Field Spell!”

Paradox shouts out, in disbelief, “No!” Ancient Fairy Dragon howls as she destroys Malefic World which causes all four Malefic monsters to be destroyed while Sailor Moon gets a card from her deck and 1000 more life-points.

Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I activate my Dragon’s Mirror spell card! With this card, I can Fusion Summon a Dragon Fusion Monster as long as I have the necessary monsters in my graveyard and remove them play! So, I remove all three of my Blue-Eyes White Dragons!”

As the said cards come out of her graveyard slot, Yugi asks, stunned, “Blue-Eyes White Dragons!” Just then three Blue-Eyes White Dragons (3000/2500 X 3) appear on the field and goes into a fusion vortex while Sailor Moon put a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck on her duel disk.

Sailor Moon says, “Roar, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800) appears on the field in attack mode.

Yugi and Jaden are shocked and Yugi says, stunned, “It’s Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!”

Jaden says, “No way! She has Seto Kaiba’s most powerful monster!”

Paradox asks, in disbelief, “How can this be?!”

Sailor Moon says, “Pluto said it herself, Paradox. You made the wrong choice! Ultimate Dragon, end this duel with Neutron Blast!” Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashes its attack from its three heads that slam into Paradox with terrific force and he screams out as he loses 4500 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

As Paradox is engulfed in the explosion, he smiles and he says, “Thank you, Sailor Moon.” He then vanishes like he was vaporized and everyone covers their eyes as the scene is engulfed in light and when they are able to open their eyes, they are back where they were just ‘transported’.

Cody says, “We’re back.”

Ken says, “Incredible.”

Naruto and Sailor Star go over to Sailor Moon and she says, “Rest in peace, Paradox-san. May your eternal peaceful sleep never be disturbed again.”

There are surprised looks and Sailor Uranus says, “He never wanted to do this.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “I believe so.”

Jiraiya says, “Disturbing the dead for your own purpose, huh? Just like Orochimaru.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “No kidding. I’m not surprised that this guy doesn’t have any feeling for using the dead for his own sick purposes.”

Davis says, “To Sugou, everyone else is inferior and he is superior.”

Kazuto says, “That would be him in a nutshell.”

Tai says, “Finding him in this mess is going to be a real trouble.”

Sailor Jupiter asks Sailor Mercury, “What do you think Mercury?”

Sailor Mercury, who has her computer out and her visor, “The distortions are making it hard to track anyone or anything in this area.”

Davis says, “Then we do it the old fashioned way.” Just then they hear footsteps coming towards them from behind and they look to see Asuna, Rika, Keiko, and Tsuboi coming towards them.

Kazuto asks, shocked, “Asuna, what are you doing here?’

Asuna responds, “I felt that you were in danger.”

Rika says, “We just had a freaky vision and these two cards came to us.” Rika then displays her Thor, Lord of the Aesir (3500/2800) and Asuna then displays her Odin, Father of the Aesir (4000/3500) Synchro Monster cards, in front of everyone.

There are gasps and Sailor Celestial asks, “You, two?” When she displays her new Loki, Lord of the Aesir (3300/3000) Synchro Monster card.

Rika asks, shocked, “You, too?!”

Sailor Uranus asks, “What the heck are they doing with those cards?”

Sailor Sun retorts, plainly, “You are asking me, Uranus?”

Just then the whole area starts to warp again and Yolei says, with a groan, “Not again! This is getting old!” Soon after, all of the group is screaming as they seemly fall into an endless darkness in which the Sailor Scout members of the group seem to have their flying abilities completely stripped through they kept their wings. Within another part of the building, Sugou slams his fist in front of a control panel.

Sugou says, with a sneer, “I knew that peon was worthless!”

Professor Frank says, “The Moon Princess was a better duelist than I suspected.”

Sugou asks, “Can that old relic of a duelist do anything?”

Professor Frank responds, “From the records, he is the most ruthless and unscrupulous duelist in history.”

Sugou says, “As long as he can take care of that worthless runt, Kirito or Kazuto, once and for all, I don’t fucking care.”

Professor Frank says, with a smirk, “Well, with the card that you gave him, he could most likely do it.”

Sugou says, with a nod, “We’ll see, Frank-san.”

(Elsewhere; Around the same time)

Within her home, Molly Baker has some kind of crystal orb and she sighs with a look of concern.

Molly says, “First, Kaguya is revived through not at full strength and now, this nightmare.”

Just then a silver cat with a golden crescent moon sigil on its forehead appears and the cat says, in a male voice, “This guy is mad. He could rip apart all time and space.”

Molly responds, “I know, Helion.”

The silver cat tells Molly, “You might need to intervene in this.”

Molly says, with a nod, “I plan to, Helion.”

The silver cat asks, “Do you really think that they can achieve that legendary power?”

Molly responds, “They have to despite the dangers. It was the power of the first Moon Queen and the first Sailor Scouts after all.”

The silver cat, Helion, says, “First, Sailor Cosmos… And now, Sailor Celestial.”

Molly says, “Yes, but there are several more Sovereign class Sailor Scouts that are close to awakening.”

Helion says, “That might be too much for our universe to contain, Molly.”

Molly says, with a nod, “I know, Helion. Their powers are so incredible that they could recreate the fabric of the multiverse itself. I just hope that we can get Serena back to herself.”

Helion asks, “Do you think what Sailor Sun and Sailor Mars believe is true?”

Molly says, with a nod, “I do. Serena’s amnesia isn’t natural. The human mind is like a computer and it is like somehow, someone download the memories hidden in Serena’s ‘memory bank’ and deleted them from her mind, making her unable to recall.”

Helion asks, “How can it be possible?”

Molly says, shaking her head, “I’m not sure, Helion, but I’ve got my theories. Right now, I need to head to Neo Domino City.”

Helion tells Molly, “Be careful, Molly. You are the Sailor Guardian of every single star seed and the fates of all people including fellow Sailor Soldiers could end up in darkness if something happens to you."

Molly responds, “Yes, I know my duty, but in two lifetimes, I end that duty distance myself and my childhood friend from each other, however, she had ‘sisters’ to make sure that her heart remains whole. However, in her condition, the darkness in her mind might make her drag those ‘sisters’ into the darkness.”

(Returning to Satellite; Later on)

Kazuto groans as he slowly wakes up and goes into a sitting position in which he looks to see Sailor Celestial, Asuna, Rika, Keiko, Tsuboi, and Yugi all around him and waking up as well.

Kazuto says, “Sugu… Asuna… Liz… Silica… Klein…”

Sailor Celestial says, with a groan, “I’m okay, Kazuto.”

Tsuboi says, “Speak for yourself.”

Kazuto asks, “Yugi-san, are you okay?”

Yugi says, “I’m fine, Kazuto-san.”

Keiko asks, “What happened?”

Sailor Celestial looks around and she asks, “Where are we?” When everyone looks around, Kazuto, Asuna, Rika, Keiko, and Tsuboi gasp as they find themselves in a massive familiar town.

Tsuboi says, shocked, “No way… You are kidding me…”

Rika says, stunned, “It can’t be…”

Sailor Celestial asks, “What’s wrong?”

Kazuto says, “This is…. The Town of Beginnings in SAO.”

Sailor Celestial asks, stunned, “What?! Are you sure?!”

Tsuboi says, “How can we ever forget? It is just like on… on that day.”

Keiko asks, confused and a bit scared, “But how?”

Kazuto asks, “Could… Could it be possible that they managed to bring SAO into the real world?”

Rika yells out, in disbelief, “No way! That’s not possible!”

Sailor Celestial says, “You can’t bring a virtual world into the real world!”

Kazuto responds, “Normally, yes, but this isn’t a normal situation. You said it yourself. Reality is getting warped.”

Sailor Celestial says, “That’s a good point.”

Just then a deep sinister male voice says, “Well, the little brat has a brain.” Everyone then looks to see a man with blond hair under a bandana designed like the American flag, sunglasses in front of his eyes, and dressed like street gangster with a black Battle City style duel disk attached to his left arm/wrist appears in front of them.

Yugi says, seriously, “Bandit Keith!”

Sailor Celestial responds, “Someone that you know?”

Yugi says, with a serious tone, “He was a former American champion duelist back in my time and the worst kind of scum that you could ever know. He cheats by keeping cards in his wristbands and since the duelists back in my day duel so far apart, they don’t know that he is cheating.”

Rika says, “That’s nice.”

Bandit Keith says, “I see that little Yugi has grown up.”

Yugi asks, “So, you are working for this guy?”

Bandit Keith responds, with an evil smirk, “The guy gives me a chance at revenge against you and Wheeler, so, why not?! However, I’m not interested in you in the moment!”

Yugi responds, surprised, “You’re not?!”

Bandit Keith says, pointing to Kazuto, “I’m interested in this little punk at the moment!”

Kazuto asks, surprised, “Me?”

Bandit Keith says, “Nothing personal, kid, but Sugou told me to take you out if I want my chance at payback against Yugi and Wheeler and personally, I don’t like owing anything to anyone!”

Yugi says, “No go, Keith! If you want to duel someone, you are going to have to duel me!”

Bandit Keith says, “Too bad, little Yugi! You are going to have to wait your turn!” Bandit Keith snaps his fingers and everyone’s feet and lower legs, expect for Kazuto’s, sink into the ground and entrap them.

Rika says, stunned, “My legs!”

Tsuboi says, “I can’t move!”

Kazuto says, shocked, “Everyone!” Kazuto tells Bandit Keith, with an angered tone, “Let them go!”

Bandit Keith responds, “Not until you and I have our little match, brat! You do have a deck, don’t you?”

Kazuto takes out a dueling deck from his pocket and he says, “Yeah, I do, but I don’t have a duel disk to use it.” But then a black Neo Domino City style duel disk appears on his wrist and Kazuto asks, surprised, “Huh?”

Bandit Keith says, with a sly smirk, “And now, you do!” Bandit Keith tells Kazuto, “Anyway, kid, Sugou actually told me all about you and your friends and I have to say that it was an enjoyable story! That Kayaba guy had real class! I loved it! Trapping people in a ‘death game’!”

Bandit Keith laughs and Kazuto says, angrily, “You think that it is funny? I don’t!”

Bandit Keith says, with a sly grin, “You think that you are the only one that has faced death, kid? Ha! When Pegasus humiliated me and my life fell apart and I went into underground gaming circuit and bet my own life! One false move and bang! My brains splattered all over the place! Guess what, kid? You aren’t the only one that has played ‘death games’ before! And you can get the idea what this is!”

Kazuto says, plainly, “If I lose this duel, I die.”

There are multiple gasps and Bandit Keith responds, with an evil smile, “That’s right, kiddo! The scene is pretty perfect, huh? When your life-points hit zero, you are a dead man! I’m in the same boat, but I’m not worried! I’ve met death in the face and I’ve managed to come back every time! Let’s see how you fight someone who has no fear of death!”

Asuna says, “Kirito, you can’t!”

Kazuto says, putting his deck into his duel disk, “I have to, Asuna.”

Yugi says, “Keep a close eye on him! Especially at his wrists!”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Thank you, Yugi-san.”

As the two of them activate their duel disks, Bandit Keith says, “Like I said, kid, nothing personal! However, you are in my way of Wheeler and Yugi and no one gets in the way of Bandit Keith!” Bandit Keith thinks in his mind, with an evil smile, “Especially not with a God card in my possession! I can’t wait to try it out and then I’ll use it to melt Wheeler and little Yugi into dust!” In his mind, a huge and dark shadow looms behind Bandit Keith as he and Kazuto are preparing to duel. Within another area, Naruto and Sailor Star are also waking up wherever they are.

Naruto asks Sailor Star, “Hinata-chan, are you okay?”

Sailor Star responds, “I’m okay, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto asks, “Where is Serena-chan?”

Just then Sailor Moon’s voice groans out, “Here, Naruto-kun…” Naruto and Sailor Star look towards Sailor Moon’s voice in which they become wide-eyed to see Sailor Moon ‘dogged piled’ by Agumon (N), Lunamon, Sailor Sun, Sailor Saturn, Sailor Mars, and Jaden with Renamon on the side.

Renamon asks, “Are you okay, Sakura?”

Sailor Sun says, “Just peachy, Renamon.”

Sailor Moon groans out, “Since you are okay, would you mind… GETTING OFF ME?!” Soon after, Agumon (N), Lunamon, Sailor Mars, Jaden, Sailor Saturn, and Sailor Sun get off Sailor Moon and she struggles to her feet with help from Naruto and Sailor Star.

Lunamon asks Sailor Moon, “Are you okay, partner?”

Sailor Moon says, “I’ll be fine, Lunamon.”

Jaden asks, looking around, “Where are we?” Soon enough, everyone starts to look around and Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Saturn quickly realize their location.

Sailor Mars says, shocked, “No way! This is…”

Sailor Moon says, stunned, “The inside of Infinite Academy!”

Sailor Saturn says, “But how? It was destroyed in the final battle with Mistress Nine and Pharaoh Ninety!”

Sailor Sun says, “I have a feeling that this whole ‘reality warping’ is the answer.”

Just then a female voice shouts out, “That’s right, sun spot!” Everyone whips to the source to see Eudial walking up to them.

Sailor Mars says, “Eudial!”

Eudial says, with a sinister smile, “That’s right, Mars! You don’t have to worry about your fellow Sailor Wenches! You will be meeting them and your friends in oblivion soon enough!”

Sailor Moon says, seriously, “We’ll see!”

Eudial says, “Yes, we will! Now, catch me if you can!” Eudial then races off into the distance and everyone else races after her.”

Sailor Star says, “We shouldn’t be going after her!”

Sailor Sun responds, “It isn’t like we have a choice, Hinata! We are in her home field right now!”

Sailor Mars says, “Sun has a point! This is her ‘home field’ and that means that right now, she is making the rules!” The group then goes through a corridor and they gasp to find themselves inside of Crystal Tokyo.

Jaden asks, “Now, where are we?”

Sailor Saturn says, “Crystal Tokyo. In the original timeline, this is the capital of a new peaceful world that Sailor Moon was going to take when she becomes the new queen of Earth.”

Jaden asks, stunned, “Queen of the planet?”

Sailor Moon says, with a solemn tone, “Not anymore. That future is dead.”

Eudial’s voice booms, “And soon, you will be!” Everyone looks to Eudial and she says, motioning to an approaching figure, “And now, time to meet your destroyer, Sailor Moon!” Out of the shadows, Titan of the Shadow Riders comes out.

Jaden says, “He’s Titan of the Shadow Riders!”

There are multiple gasps and Titan says, with a wicked smile, “Nice to see you, again, Jaden. However, my prey isn’t you. It is the girls and boy with the Egyptian God Cards!”

Naruto says, with a sneer, “We’re no one’s prey pal!”

Titan responds, “You are now and you won’t be getting out of here unless you beat me in a game… A Shadow Game!” Just then a huge ring of dark violet shadow energy surrounds them.

Agumon (N) says, “We’re trapped boss!”

Renamon says, “We can see that Agumon.” Just then Sailor Saturn and Sailor Mars yelp out as they surround by rings of dark energy and lifted into the center of the arena.

Sailor Moon says, shocked, “Mars! Saturn!”

Naruto says, with a strong tone, “Hey, let them go!”

Titan responds, “Unless you duel me, I won’t and any attempt to free will send them into the Shadow Realm for good!”

Naruto says, stepping forward, “Fine, pal! You want to duel, you got one!”

Sailor Moon says, “Wait, Naruto!”

Naruto tells Sailor Moon, with a foxy grin, “No problem, Moon-chan! You and Hina-chan just watch! Mars and Saturn will be back with us in no time!”

Sailor Star says, with a warm smile, “I always believe in you, Naruto-kun.” Sailor Moon smiles warmly and nods her head in which Naruto steps forward to face this former Shadow Rider in a deadly Shadow Game.

And that’s the chapter, everyone! I think that I’m doing a really good job with a balance of Digimon action, dueling, and hard core combat so far through with the ninja action being limited, but we have quite a ways to go in this story, so, you can hold onto your horses, folks!
