Personally, I have been a Naruto fan for a long time and I mean, a long time, but with every good thing, it must come to an end, however, I feel that even through the Naruto manga has ended and thus, the storyline is coming down to a close, it doesn’t mean that Naruto will not enter a ‘new era’ which I hope that a ‘new era’ will begin for the ‘Naruto universe’. Anyway, so far, this story has been mainly action, adventure, drama, and a major ton of surprises! And there are tons more to come everyone!

Chapter 18: A Tree and a Memory

Within a high-tech lab, Ryu is inserting a flash drive into a laptop computer in which Davis sits down and starts to type on with Izzy, Ken, Yolei, Cody, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Pluto standing by in case that he needs something and Davis’ hands are like blurs as he types on the computer.

Yolei says, amazed, “I’m seeing and I still can’t believe it.”

Matt says, “That’s what Davis wanted in the past, Yolei. He didn’t want you to believe that some a ‘sports joke’ like him could be such a computer expert.”

Tai says, “He doesn’t like the word ‘genius’. He feels that he is just an ordinary guy with an extraordinary talent.”

Veemon says, with a smile, “An awesome talent!”

Davis whistles and Sailor Uranus asks, “What’s up?”

Davis says, “This has got to be Kayaba’s handy work. These files have got firewalls within firewalls. This is close to hacking his SAO server.” Davis says, with a smirk, “However, it is also close to the SAO server.” Davis then pushes an enter button on the computer and on a huge screen, the face of Akihiko Kayaba appears on a huge screen in the room.

Sailor Neptune asks, “Is that it?”

Davis says, with a nod, “Yep.”

Kayaba’s face on the screen says, with a smile, “If you are listening to this message, then you have broken the lock that I have put on this message. I’m not sure if it is Sailor Mercury or someone with her intelligence, but it would have to be someone of her intelligence or someone with excellent computer skills to break this.”

Sailor Mercury says, “He made it that someone as smart as I am or someone with excellent skills in computing can only break open the file.”

Kayaba’s face on the screen then says, “I know that most likely, you are reading this message since it is meant for you, my dear Serena, and I’m not sure if you remember me. After what you have gone through over two years, I wouldn’t be surprised that you would be suffering from amnesia. You already know this by now, since my name has become infamous, however, my name is Akihiko Kayaba and your mother, Ikuko, is my sister making you my niece.”

There are multiple gasps and Yolei says, stunned, “No way!” Sailor Moon, Naruto, still in his Six Path Astral Sage Mode, and Sailor Star are looking on with more wide eyes in which a picture of a younger Serena, elementary school level, and Ikuko are together with Kayaba himself is then seen.

Kayaba’s face then returns to the screen and he says, “By now, the government has destroyed or sealed away any evidence of my bloodline with your mother to protect my sister and her family from any retribution from the people that might survive the horror that I’m about to commit and their family and friends. I will plant more than enough evidence to them to make sure that they know my sister and her family has absolutely no knowledge of what I’m about to do.”

Crow asks, “What he is about to do?”
Jack says, “This was taken before the SAO incident.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “That’s right, Jack.”

The recording of Kayaba then says, “In fact, most likely, I may bring on the rage and fury of my sister at my betrayal and yours as well since you, Serena, while not knowing anything of my plans, helped me create Sword Art Online.” There are plenty of wide-eyes at that and the recording says, continuing, “When you were younger, you dreamed of a castle floating in the sky like I did and you dreamed of knights, paladins, princes, and princesses. You think that it would be like any young girl, but you dreamed much bigger and you wanted to share this world with everyone to let them live an adventure as well as dreaming of ultimate worlds especially when I shared an early experience of the Full-Dive with you.”

There are surprised looks and Sailor Mars asks, “What did he say?”

Kayaba’s recording then says, continuing, “But that’s a story that you will find out without my help. However, the real question is asking: How do I know that you and Sailor Moon are one and the same ever since the start of your ‘career’? The answer is very simple.” Just then the screen shows a picture of Serena when she was fourteen and early news reports about her.

Sailor Mercury says, “These are reports about us during our battles with the Negaverse.” The news reports then change to images of the Sailor Scouts with their faces quite blurry.

Kayaba’s recording says, “These are the answer, my princess. I figured out that someone that you are using some kind of ‘power’ to make it that people and even technology can’t recognize since your ‘transformation’ doesn’t exactly give you a disguise as you can see here. However…” Just then the blurry image of Sailor Moon’s pigtails are then compared to the picture of Serena when she was 14 years old in which it is shown that a match is made.

Sailor Mars slaps herself and she says, “It figures that Kayaba would have the common sense to compare our hairstyles.”

Kazuto says, “Well, it isn’t exactly too surprising since your ‘change’ doesn’t exactly change your disguise you with changes in hair color, hairstyle, or even a change in eye color. You look like you do in your ‘civilian forms’, but then again, I can see that easily due to the fact that I know who you are, so, your magic doesn’t work for me.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “That’s exactly correct.”

Sailor Neptune says, “If you don’t know what or who to look for, I doubt that you would be able to recognize our faces.”

Kayaba’s recording continues on by saying, “And you must realize that I know what happened recently, which is when I am recording, but most likely, you are watching years after what I had done and your battle in Tokyo, with the ‘strange moon’ and the mysterious tree roots that were cocooning people in Tokyo. In fact, I know what or who you truly are or in this case, were… I always knew that you were a true princess, my dear Princess Serenity.”

There are multiple gasps and Sailor Venus yells out, “Wait! This was recorded before Kayaba started the SAO incident, right?!”

Sailor Jupiter says, “That means that when Kayaba infiltrated the Data Squad virtual matrix… That how he knew about how Sailor Moon is the Moon Princess!”

Kayaba’s recording then says, continuing on, “You must be asking: How did I know that? The answer is simple actually. I have knowledge of what you know as the Silver Millennium, a time of peace when our planet was united under the kingdom of Elysion and all of the planets in our solar system were inhabited by what we would call today ‘advanced civilizations’.”

There are more gasps and Sailor Uranus says, “This is getting disturbing.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “No kidding, Uranus. He has knowledge of the Silver Millennium.”

Sailor Mars says, “And I can tell that he isn’t bluffing.”

Kayaba’s recording then says, “You know that I’m not one to ‘bluff’, but I believe that this shall be proof enough for you, my princess.” Soon after, the screen changes into a screen that looks like a recording with some kind of ancient symbols on the screen and the recording has a vast sunflower field.

Just then a male voice shouts out, “Did you hear? Princess Sakuya has challenged the Black Swordsman!”

A female voice says, “I know! The Black Swordsman is a legendary vigilantly and guess what! He is a duel welder!”

The male voice yells out, “No way! I thought that only our princess had a duel sword style in the whole universe!”

The female voice then yells out, “There they are!” Just then the screen shows like a camera moving and the scene changes to see Sailor Sun, wearing a fuku similar to Sailor Moon’s first fuku expect with gold and silver as the main colors of the sailor collar, skirt, etc., with golden version of what look like Dark Repulser with a rainbow jewel and aqua-blue green version of the Excalibur sword from ALO attached to her skirt facing someone that exactly looks like Kazuto when he was Kirito the Black Swordsman from SAO.

Asuna asks, shocked, “Kirito?!” Kazuto, Tsuboi, Rika, and Keiko had similar looks of shock on their faces.

Rika says, “Okay, this is shock.”

On the screen, ‘Kirito’ says, in Kazuto’s exact voice, “I knew that you wouldn’t let it go.”

‘Sailor Sun’ responds, with a nod, “I can’t just let an intruder especially a ‘legendary vigilantly’ go like that, pal. What would people think of my kingdom if I did that?”

‘Kirito’ says, with a sigh, “Legendary vigilantly, huh?”

‘Sailor Sun’ says, “I take it that ‘fame’ really gives you a headache, huh? Join the club, pal.”

‘Kirito’ says, “Anyway, you knew that I would come without hesitation.”

‘Sailor Sun’ responds, with a smirk, “You aren’t exactly too hard to figure out and it is a basic fact: You are a swordsman after all.”

‘Kirito’ says, with a smile, “Not surprising that you would know that fact since you are a swordswoman, your majesty.” ‘Kirito’ then draws two swords, which look exactly like Elucidator and Dark Repulser, and goes into a guard position.

‘Sailor Sun’ says, “I was surprised that you use a Duel Sword style like I do.”

‘Kirito’ says, “I was surprised too. I had heard rumors about it, but you have to see something to believe it.” ‘Sailor Sun’ draws both of her swords and gets into a stance. They stand there for a just several seconds which seem like a minute, but then the two of them charge at each other and start fight each other in an intense sword fight which they clash their swords with high speeds and incredible power, but this camera is able to follow them as they continue their battle and neither one able to get an advantage over the other.

Tsuboi says, stunned, “Oh my god! Kirito, I know that you are thinking what I am.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Yeah, Klein. We are seeing the origin of the Duel Welding Skill of SAO.”

Sailor Sun responds, “I said that I had practically invented Duel Sword style.”

Renamon says, “And I believe the proof is right here.”

Sailor Neptune asks Sailor Pluto, “Could this footage be real?”

Sailor Pluto says, “I believe so. Camera and video technology were common place for the Silver Millennium. I’m just shocked that any of them survived the Silver Millennium and they found their way to Earth.”

Sailor Uranus says, “And Kayaba managed to find them.”

When the video ended, Kayaba’s face returns to the screen and the recording continues by saying, “As you may have guessed, this is one of the things that helped inspire the features that I put into my game. When I had found this, I was amazed and shocked to learn that there was an advanced civilization on all of our planets centuries ago. As you know, I am a scientist and like any scientist I was amazed and excited. I wanted to find out more, but I never found anything detailed their technological achievements. I only found very ancient surviving videos that inspired elements of my game. I can assure you that I am no thief and the NervGear was completely my technology. Actually, in fact, I had already figured out how to develop more advanced versions of the Full Dive technology among other things. You may have already found or figured out that I had developed other technologies, but they were mere ‘stepping stones’ to perfecting my game.”

Tai asks, “More advanced versions of the Full Dive technology?”

Izzy says, “Yes, Tai. Actually, there are developments for a medical version of Full Dive technology which seems to be a third generation Full Dive technology. Professor Koujiro Rinko provided all that was needed to create this medical Full Dive known as the Medicuboid.”

Matt asks, “Wait! Professor Rinko? Wasn’t she that woman that was in love with Kayaba and acquitted for being a collaborator?”

There are looks of surprise and Izzy says, “That’s right, Matt.”

Davis says, “She may have provided the plans, but it was all Kayaba.”

Izzy says, with a nod, “That’s right. In fact, the Medicuboid is the more practical form of the way that Kayaba transferred his consciousness onto the net.”

Ken says, “So, it stands to reason that he already had more advanced versions of Full Dive technology in his mind.”

The recording of Kayaba says, continuing on, “You might have already heard from the players on the day that SAO began about my reasoning about what I did and it is the complete and absolute truth. However, it isn’t the complete story.” The others get an interested look and Kayaba’s recording says, continuing on, “As you may be already aware, I know exactly what happened to you over two years ago with the fight with that alien woman from another world: Kaguya.” This gets plenty of surprised looks from the group and the recording says, “In fact, while I was shocked to find out what happened to you, I was glad that you would be asleep for this and I knew that you would awaken after what I am about to do is going to end. How do I know that? Call it intuition, my dear. Anyway, I was glad that you would be asleep since my actions would most likely cause you great emotional pain and distress and most likely, my sister’s family will hate me in which is understandable since the act that I will do will shame the family name to no end.”

Tai says, with a snort, “No freaking kidding, genius.”

The recording continues on to say, “I had fallen in love with the virtual world. To me, it is world of endless possibilities and you could recreate yourself in ways beyond your imagination. And I had dreamed of the floating castle and that dreamed stayed with me, but I guess that I got lost in my dream at times especially when I was with you, princess. However, I knew that with this new world came new dangers. There would be people that would abuse the technology for their own selfish purposes including Sugou Nobuyuki, who will most likely attempt to use the technology to control people’s memories and emotions, basically mind control.”

Plenty of the group look at the tied up and beaten Sugou and he yells out, stunned, “He knew?!”

The recording continue in which the image of Kayaba says, with a sly tone, “Sugou-san is a pretty good actor, I must admit. He is able to fool Mister Yuuki-san quite well, but I am not an ordinary person and Sugou-san is quite easy to read once his ‘mask’ is removed.”

Sugou yells out, angrily, “Curse you, Kayaba!”

The recording continues on saying, “Trying to control the human soul? Like any scientist and as a person, I believe that to be a crime and senseless since you might be able to manipulate the mind, but the essence of a person? Sugou-san is setting himself up for disaster, but I know that he will make his move in time. If I wasn’t going to do what I am going to do and Sword Art Online went like a ‘regular game’, I know that Sugou-san would find a way to sneak in, kidnap the minds of the players, and use them in his experiments.”
Kazuto says, glaring at Sugou, “That I’m not surprised about.”

The recording continues on by saying, “However, he won’t be the first. There are many that are performing this including an American corporation and possibly government organizations like the CIA, who have performed experiments on mind control in the past, which would be interested in this kind of thing. However, it isn’t like what I am going to do is any better than this and I don’t use this for an excuse for what I am about to do. But I feel that in order for the virtual world to survive, I need to bring it to the brink of destruction. As you may realize, I will expose the dangers of the virtual world and my technology by committing this ultimate fiendish act and become its ultimate villain. By doing this, those people may think again of doing such things as Sugou-san wants to do with the technology and think that they can do anything that they want with the virtual world. As I said, I’m not using this as any excuse and I will do what it takes to preserve the virtual world that I have come to love even if it means sacrificing thousands of lives to do so.”

Kazuto says, with a glare, “Kayaba…”

Tai says, with a sneer, “That wretched prick!”

The recording continues on by saying, “And it is the virtual world that you also loved to, my princess. However, knowing Sugou-san, once the survivors managed to win my game, he will use this chance to hack into the servers and take a number of the survivors for his own purposes. I already have a plan to stop him. As you saw in that video from your past life as the Moon Princess, I used this to create a powerful ‘Unique Skill’ similar to the one that I will gain once I enter the game in disguise to assist the players until it is time for me to leave to become the final boss of the game. The Skill is known as Duel Blades and as I will explain to the one that will gain the skill, it is made for the person that will have the fastest reaction time in the game and he or she will be the hero of the game that will face me in the final battle. And if the chosen one hero survives, then I know that this person will go on to stop Sugou-san and his plans.”

Sugou yells out, in disbelief, “Wait! You knew my plans?! You knew all along?!”

The recording continues on to say, “How would I know this? I don’t. I am a genius, but I am not all-seeing, all-knowing, or anything of the sort. I am just using logical fact and what I know about people around me and human nature to create what I theorize what could or could not happen. With what will happen in the game and Sugou, I am just theorizing. However, I hope that my theories come true because I do know something… I know about Kaguya and what this ‘woman’ poses to the world. While I am willing to sacrifice thousands of lives, it doesn’t mean that I want the destruction of the human race. Without people, there is no one to enjoy the virtual world that I so love. I wish that I could explain on how I gained this knowledge, but even I can’t explain this logically. All I can tell you is that I know what kind of threat that she will pose and you, my princess, will have the power to stop her.” Just then the screen shows Sailor Moon with a mirror in front of her and the recording says, “I know that you will gain the power to gain into new and more powerful forms by using this ‘special mirror’ to reflect the power of others and replicate it onto yourself.”

Sailor Mars yells out, “Wait! Does that mean that he learned that Sailor Moon will gain her Legendarium powers?!”

Just then the screen displays two crossed swords and the recording says, “If the person that becomes the chosen one that gains the Duel Welding Skill survives my game, I hope that once you meet, you will be able to use the power that I created in the virtual world in real life, Serena. It is the third reason that I created the Duel Welding Skill in order for you to gain that power and fight the threat that this ‘woman’ possesses.”

There are looks of surprise and Kazuto asks, stunned, “Wait! He wanted Sailor Moon to replicate the power of Duel Welding in real life?”

Rika says, “Basically, you were a stepping stone for his niece to gain greater power.” Sailor Moon glares at Rika with a deadly glare that’s totally out of her regular character and she flinches from the glare.

Kazuto tells Rika, “Not a good idea to get her angry at you, right now.”

Rika says, nervously, “Good point.”

The recording of Kayaba then says, “However, there is one final reason that I want to grant you this power: I believe that you will be my final end.” There are surprised looks and the recording says, “I am not an all-seeing seer or some kind of all-knowing deity despite I plan to be like one in my game, but I know enough that when I move forward with my plan, there will be much resentment among those that will survive my game and those family and friends of those that won’t. I know that the government will do what it takes to help ensure my sister’s and her family’s safety especially when they know that they have no knowledge and no involvement in what I plan to do, but I know that sooner or later, it will come out as a fact that Ikuko Tsukino is the sister to me, Akihiko Kayaba. While I hope that what happened will pass onto infamy and all of the anger and resentment will be focused on me, there will be fools that won’t let it go. They will attempt at their form of so-called justice, so, I made one final plan to make sure that action most likely won’t come about. Consider: If the person that finally destroys the ‘demon king’ that trapped ten thousand people in a ‘death game’ is a relative of that ‘fiend’, what would people think?”

There are more looks of surprise and Davis says, “I get it. He made sure that he stayed out of jail by virtualizing his mind for this.”
The recording of Kayaba says, “I really don’t care what people will think of me, but my sister and you, my princess, do mean something to me despite the immense pain and shame that I will be putting on you. In order to make sure that no one gets any ideas, I intend that my final battle will be with you, my princess. I will inspire you to fight with me in that final battle, but I won’t be making it easy on you. In order to stop this ‘creature’ known as Kaguya, you will be to be strong in body and mind and I will come at you with everything that I have. To win, you must battle like you are to kill me and in this battle, if I lose, the battlefield will be programmed as if it was SAO and my mind will be deleted forever.”

There are gasps and Sailor Celestial asks, “Is… Is he serious?”

The recording of Kayaba then finishes with, “I know that you feel betrayed and you have a right to be since the image that you have created of me will most likely be shattered if you remember. I know what you went through in that battle and even though I can’t be sure, you may be suffering from memory loss. Forgive me, but I will not apologize for what I have done and I will understand if I put true hate for me in your heart. Good luck to you, my moon princess.” Just then a Dark Repulser slams into the screen and destroying the screen in which everyone looks to see Sailor Moon, in her ‘Black Swordsman form’, is the one that threw the sword.

Kiba says, “Whoa, girl!”

Hawkmon says, “I don’t think that she took that very well.”

Gatomon asks, “You think Hawkmon?”

Sailor Saturn says, concerned, “Princess…” Sailor Moon goes over, removes her Dark Repulser, and puts it into the sheath on her back.

Sailor Moon says, with tears in her eyes, “How can I be related to such a coward? That…!!” Sailor Moon breaks a nearby table in half with single karate chop.

Sailor Venus says, nervously, “Yipe!”

Sugou says, with an evil smile, “It looks like little ‘Miss Love and Justice’ has her own ‘dark secrets’.” There are plenty of glares, including ones with deadly intent, from the others causing Sugou to winch nervously.

Ayane tells Sugou, “I wouldn’t open my big mouth right now, scum.” Sailor Moon is hugged by Naruto and Sailor Star to comfort her in whom Sugou mumbles something that Kiba and Hana hears.

Hana asks, glaring at him, “Mind repeating that?”

There are plenty of looks of surprise and Kiba asks, with a glare, “What do you mean by him storing something in Moon girl?”

Sugou says, nervously, “I didn’t say a thing!”

Kiba tells Sugou, pointing to his ears, “Hey, jerk, these ears do more than frame our face! And by the way, we don’t just work with ninja canines, my clan has canine characteristic including enhanced hearing, pal!”

Hana says, “That means that we heard what you said.”

Sailor Uranus says, drawing her Space Sword, “That means starting talking now!”

Sugou responds, nervously, “Okay! Okay! When Kayaba’s niece was younger, he showed a preview of Sword Art Online literally by using an early, yet, completed NervGear to show her. However, while she was in the virtual world, he stored something in her mind.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, “He did what?”

Sailor Uranus asks, with a glare, “What was it?”

Sugou was about to say something while Ayane asks, plainly, “How badly does the justice community want him alive?”

Davis retorts, with a smirk, “Good question, Ayane.”

Sugou yells out, nervously, “Okay! It was his life’s work up to that point! When the NervGear was completed, he always already thinking of more advanced versions of the Full Dive technology possibly including to fifth generation! He also had interned at Kaiba Corporation in order to perfect his Full Dive technology and his game, but during that time, he had already invented the next generation of Solid Vision technology! You saw me use a prototype of what he developed!”

Ino asks, “Prototype?”

Kazuto says, “Something that Kayaba left behind and he stole from him. The Solid Vision that he used to create those ‘solid holograms’ was created by Kayaba before SAO, but Sugou has no way to produce on it his own. Kayaba must have stored that kind of knowledge inside of Sailor Moon’s mind.”

Sugou responds, with a nod, “That’s right. He also stored the ‘key’ of unlocking his work in the memories of that girl and that’s why she isn’t remembering anything!”

There are looks of shock and Naruto yells out, glaring at him with KI, “What did you say?”

Sugou shouts out, nervously, “Remember when she battled Kayaba in the Data Squad virtual mainframe? She didn’t just gain the data about the Corona Aurora from him! He took her memories about her life from her!” There are gasps and Sugou yelps as Sailor Uranus grabs him by the neck.

Sailor Uranus yells out, strongly and with a deadly glare, “How do you know this? And why did he do that?”

Sugou responds, nervously, “With that ‘key’ to unlock his work that he put in her, he also put something else important. I don’t know what! He doesn’t say anything about it in his journal other if it comes out into the world that it could possibly revolutionize our world. And how I know? How do you think? The data from Amusphere! I had it make sure to record everything and when I took a look at it, I found that Kayaba had taken some data from Sailor Moon during the fight between them.”

Sailor Mercury says, “Data from Sailor Moon? Her memories!”

Sugou replies, “No duh! For some reason, he wanted the ‘key’ and his ‘discovery’ back!” With Sailor Moon, the tears of betrayal and anger start to flow in which she releases herself from Naruto’s and Sailor Star’s arms and starts to stomp off.

Tenten says, “Whoa!”

Sailor Venus asks, “Sailor Moon, where are you going?”

Sailor Moon responds, in a dark tone not usually like her, “Where do you think? That sicko acts like he cares about me and then he steals my memories… my life away! He wants that ‘final battle’?! I’m going to give it to him!”

Ino shouts out, “Whoa! You are going to give him what he wants?!”
Sailor Moon looks at the others, her face stained from her tears, and she yells out, “You know nothing! You don’t know what I’m feeling right now! Princess Serenity is who I was in a past life and Sailor Moon is only half of who I am! Serena Tsukino is that other half and she is like a complete and absolutely stranger to me! And now, I learn why! That sick freak that caused nothing, but a nightmare for ten thousand people including two of my scouts and my friends, who is supposed to be my… Serena’s uncle and he have taken that part of me away! It’s my life! He has taken that part away from me and he dares to say that he cares about Serena Tsukino! I’ve had it up to here with madman!”

Sailor Moon stomps away and Shikamaru says, “This is going to be a major drag.”

Lee says, “I can’t say that I blame her. It is completely unyouthful what Kayaba has done and stole her memories away.”

Tsuboi says, shaking his head, “What is up with this guy? I thought Kayaba was a real piece of work before, but this is just plain nuts! I mean, it is like he wants his own family to hate him!”

Yolei asks, “When has that man, if you can call him a man, make sense Klein?”

Ken says, “By the looks of it, he had become so lost in the virtual world that he had cut all ties to the real world, Yolei.”

Cody says, with a nod, “That’s a good way to look at it.”

Sugou says, “And you call me a monster.”

Naruto goes over to him and he says, “That’s right, asshole. And I hear that you tried to molest Kazuto-san’s girlfriend in that virtual world?”

Sugou responds, “Yeah! What of it?” However, Sugou regrets those words as he screams out in a high pitched feminine voice as Naruto crushes his ‘privates’ before anyone can say or do anything about it in which Kakashi and Jiraiya winch and hold their privates.

Mimi says, winching, “Ouch.”

Joe says, “I’ll say.”

Ino tells Kazuto, Rika, Keiko, Asuna, and Tsuboi, “Let’s just say that Naruto doesn’t like perverts.”

Sailor Sun says, “Despite having two of them for teachers, Naruto really doesn’t like perverts himself.”

Rika says, with a smirk, “Okay, I’m really starting to like this guy.”

Sailor Sun says, “However, Naruto does have ‘naughty tendencies’, but that’s only because Naruto hasn’t exactly been ‘trained’ in ‘formal graces’ and you know where that blame comes from.”

Sailor Uranus says, “Naruto’s so-called home.”

Plenty of the Leaf ninja give solemn looks and Tsunade says, with a nod, “Like it or not, you have a point.”

Kakashi says, “The Leaf has a major debt to Naruto that it has yet to repay.”

Minato says, “If it can repay it.”

Sailor Star says, with a dark glare that’s not usually like her, “And yet, there are those that will attempt to use Naruto like the elders.”

Neji tells Sailor Star, “Hinata-sama…”

Sailor Star tells Neji, “Neji, I’m not the same girl as before. Thanks to Naruto-kun, I have become stronger and I swore to be by his side and not behind him. I know what’s going on. Those that were in power in the village have lost all power and they know that Naruto is going to be the one to change our world. He has incredible power in all sorts and those ‘people’ want to control that power. Like the former elders, they may be out of power and they want to use Naruto-kun in order to get that power back. Probably use the CRA and use him as some kind of ‘breeding stud’ to create a new Uzumaki clan that they can control.”

Tsunade says, “While that’s not in the realm of possibility for those old brat, it will never happen.”

Sailor Star says, with a dark determined glare, “It won’t happen Lady Tsunade because I and Serenity-onee-chan will make sure that it doesn’t happen. I won’t let anyone else use or hurt Naruto-kun anymore and if they try…” Sailor Star activates her Byakugan with an intense and powerful stare that makes those closest to her a bit nervous before she heads off after Naruto and Sailor Moon.

Agumon (N) says, “Hey, boss! Wait for us!” Lunamon and Agumon (N) head off after their partners while the rest of the group watch them leave.

Sailor Celestial asks, “Shouldn’t you go after her?”

Sailor Sun asks, “And say what, Celestial?”

Sora asks, “What kind of person takes away their own niece’s memories?”

Biyomon says, “That’s a good question, Sora.”

Davis says, “Well, I found this.” Everyone then looks as Davis types on the computer and on another screen, they see a video of Kayaba with an elemental school aged Serena Tsukino in which she leaps into his arms and he hugs her tightly in which Kayaba is smiling at Serena and he puts her on his lap as they were talking with each other while Kayaba shows her what looks like developmental models for the NervGear and Sword Art Online.

Sailor Celestial says, amazed, “He looks… happy. So kind and gentle.”

Renamon says, “By the looks of him in here, it is shocking to think that someone like him could be a madman that could create such a nightmare as the SAO incident.”

Sailor Pluto states to everyone, “And therein lies a question: Who is the real Akihiko Kayaba?”

Ryu responds, “That’s a good question, Pluto. Terrorist? Madman? Fiend? Dreamer? Fanatic? All of these? Or somewhere in-between?”

Sailor Sun asks, “Why trying to understand him?”

Minato says, “In order to make sure others don’t appear or those like him can do any real damage. Like my son understood, you can’t server you connections to the past because then you will be doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past and nightmares like Kayaba, Madara, and Kaguya will start all over again.”

Jiraiya asks, “Speaking of Kaguya, what was from that Atem guy?”

Shino says, “I was thinking about that. He mentioned that Kaguya may have been revived.”

Sailor Sun responds, “She has been revived into a physical form.”

There are gasps and Ino asks, “How do you know Forehead?”

Sailor Sun glares at Ino and she says, with a sigh, “I just found this out recently, but when I sensed something off within me and I learned that Black Zetsu managed to get a tiny portion of my phoenix flames in his attack on us.”

There are gasps and Sailor Uranus asks, stunned, “What?”

Sailor Sun says, “However, Kaguya won’t be at full power. While it is true that a portion of the phoenix flames can revive her, the tiny portion may be enough to restore her body, but nowhere close to regaining her full strength. At least, she is at fifty percent strength and at most, she is at seventy percent.”

Sailor Mars says, with a groan, “This is just great. What we don’t need.”

Renamon says, “Kaguya will need more of Sakura’s phoenix flame or the Shinju to completely revive her strength.”

Kakashi says, “It doesn’t matter to me. I know Kaguya enough to know that she is a threat and a threat that needs to be eliminated.”

Sailor Sun says, “Agreed. You and your students, minus Naruto, barely survived against her and it took the power of Sailor Moon, as Sailor Cosmos, and Naruto, with his Cosmos Sage Mode, along with the Star Saber, to win against her. She might be weakened, but she may figure out a way to regain her strength.”

Sailor Neptune says, “We need to find her quickly and take her out.”

Sailor Sun responds, with a smirk, “That’s no problem. I already know where she is.”

There are multiple looks of surprise and Tenten asks, “You do?”

Kakashi says, “The phoenix flame. The instant that she revived herself, she unknowing sent a signal to you.”

Sailor Sun says, with a smirk, “That’s right. She is at the North Pole at the former Negaverse base on Earth.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, “She’s there?”

Sailor Mars says, “I felt that she could be there since Jadeite was back, but with Mimete also on her side, I couldn’t be sure and I couldn’t seem to find her even with my abilities.”

Sailor Neptune says, “Yes. She must have used the remnant energy and the dark powers that she absorbed in order to block our special abilities or items in which what we believed what was happening in the first place.”

Sailor Sun says, “And with this mess done and over with, I plan to end this once and for all. I’m going over there with a strike team and I know exactly who to send with me.”

Ino yells out, “Hey, who put you in charge?”

Sailor Sun glares at her with such a glare that Ino winches and she retorts, “Are you with the one with chakra levels and skills that can go toe to toe with first person that had chakra on Gaea?”

Tsunade says, “And you are her major target.”

Sailor Sun retorts, “And I’m no baka, Lady Tsunade. That’s why I’m taking a team. I want Kakashi, since he has Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and the power of Kamui, which will prove useful if Kaguya pulls us into her personal dimension, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, and the Outer Sailor Scouts.”

Sailor Jupiter yells out, “What about us?”

Sailor Sun responds, “After two years in SAO? No way! You are nowhere near the level of Mercury, Mars, and the Outers. While your minds were stuck in a virtual world and fighting for your lives, your bodies were just sleeping and your powers kept you from being in the same condition as many other people that survived that ‘death game’. While the rest of your group was worried sick and doing everything to get you out, they were also working their asses off to get ready for Kaguya’s return.”

Sailor Uranus says, “She does have a point, Jupiter.”

Sailor Neptune says, “We were trained by the Leaf ninja and mastered our chakra abilities in which now, we have Legendium powers to call on just in case.”

Sailor Sun says, pointing to the rest of the Leaf ninja, “We can’t just put our eggs into one basket since Kaguya was able to cast her Infinite Tsukuyomi in a limited area by creating her own moon and Naruto and Meatball Head are out of the question. They are in quite an emotional state right now especially that Moon Princess cousin of mine and if she hears the name ‘Kaguya’ in her current condition…”

Sailor Mars says, interrupting, “Okay, we get the point.”

Sailor Milky Way says, “And the squirt and I are nowhere near ready for such combat yet.”

Sailor Sun says, “By the way, thanks for holding the line behind us.”

Sailor Milky Way says, “No problem.”

Tsunade says, sternly, “There is no way that we are agreeing to this! Kaguya is a threat to all of us! We should have a say in this too!”

Sailor Sun responds, “After the Infinite Tsukuyomi was broken, who was fighting Kaguya?”

There are plenty of surprised looks and Choji tells Sailor Sun, “That’s a low blow, Sakura.”

Sailor Sun replies, with a glare, “If it gets the point across, I’m not sorry about it. The point is that if you went in back then, you would have only gotten in Sailor Cosmos’, Naruto’s, and Sasuke’s way. Kakashi and I were the only ones other than the Reanimation revived Kage to provide any decent support. Like it or not, you would get in my way.” Sailor Sun says, with a plain tone, “And Naruto and Sailor Moon have already went above and beyond for our universe and nearly died because of it in which over two years of their lives were spent sleeping and losing those years added to the fact that they have lost the majority of their memories along with it. They deserve time to rest and recover and not experience that nightmare again.” Sailor Sun says, with a determined tone in her voice and determined look in her expression, “And I intend to give it to them. Sakura Haruno was forced to stay on the sidelines since she didn’t have the ability to handle a full out battle with Kaguya and she was needed to heal them, but I’m different. And Kaguya is going to wish that she stayed history and she is going to fill the wrath of a supernova.” Plenty of the others winch slightly from her powerful glare that spoke volumes that shows that Sailor Sun is prepared to end Kaguya once and for all. And if looks could kill, Kaguya would be dead ten times over.

Matt says, looking at Sugou, “Anyway, let’s take care of this trash to the ‘bin’.”

Davis asks Kazuto, “Anyway, Kazuto, I wonder: When you bisected him in ALO, you were aiming for that ‘body part’, weren’t you?” Kazuto doesn’t responds, but a wicked smirk on his lips in which Asuna and Rika giggle at him.

Tsuboi retorts, with a grin, “Not like he deserved it. And what guy wouldn’t do that if some jerk did that their girl?”

Kakashi says, “Anyway, let’s get him or what’s left of him back.”

Yolei says, drolly, “The law offices might have a field day with us.”

Tai says, “With how they gotten sicken by what we showed them, I doubt it.”

Davis says, “I learned from the net that after all this, the companies that were interested in such a thing have significant reduced.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I’ll bet.”

Sailor Uranus says, “Anyway, even if we defeat Kaguya now, we still have plenty of trouble to come.”

There are plenty of serious looks and Davis says, “Yeah. The Dark Signers for one thing.”

Jiraiya says, “And Orochimaru and Sasuke to another.”

Ayane says, “And no new leads on Donovan and his new organization.”

Izzy says, “Anyway, I’ll call headquarters and get a team to gather this all up.”

Ken says, “Good idea, Izzy.”

Sailor Celestial asks, concerned, “Do you think that Sailor Moon will be okay?”

Kazuto says, looking at the video of a young Serena Tsukino and Kayaba, “That’s a good question.”

(Later on; Back at MBI headquarters)

Inside of MBI headquarters, Geminios and Queen Serenity were talking about what they found out.

Queen Serenity says, “I can’t believe this, my love!”

Geminios responds, “I’ve looked over the data banks and Ikuko Tsukino’s birth certificate and other information of her ‘bloodline’ has been classified under the department that Data Squad belongs to, Serenity.”

Queen Serenity says, “Understandable due to human nature, Geminios. That fiend had trapped their family and friends inside of a game of death and thousands of them didn’t return home to their family and friends which would leave anger and rage towards anyone related to Kayaba despite them being in the dark of what he had planned all along and even suffering themselves.”

Geminios says, “And he took the precautions to make sure that the government would know such a fact.”

Queen Serenity then says, with a sneer, “And yet, he takes away my Serenity’s memories as Serena Tsukino. Serena Tsukino is a part of who she is now! And he… he is her uncle! What kind of uncle takes away her niece’s memories?! She is now suffering since there is now a major hole in her heart! Added to this fact that she learned that she is the niece of the madman that trapped two of her guardians, her sisters in the Silver Millennium, in a living nightmare for two long years!”

Geminios says, “A man like that… He created a game where mainly four thousand innocent lives died doesn’t care for human life even his own, Serenity.”

Queen Serenity says, with a nod, “I understand, Geminios. But Serenity…”

Geminios asks, “Is something wrong with her?”

Queen Serenity says, “It seems like she is becoming more like our daughter than she is Serena Tsukino probably due to ‘inner imbalance’ in herself. And it is not good for her.”

Geminios responds, “I know, my love. Where is Serenity now?”

Queen Serenity says, “She is resting in her room with Freyja and Naruto.”

Geminios says, “Just in case, I had better bring in Cobalt’s lover.”

Queen Serenity says, “I still can’t believe that there is survivor from that clan.”

Geminios says, “Cobalt or Col Amakana has proven to be a very reliable manager and medical expert.”

Queen Serenity says, with a plain tone, “Yes, but his ‘faults’ is what got me concerned and the fact that he has seduced Mercury’s mother as well as most likely gotten her pregnant.”

Geminios says, with a smile, “Understandable, but while he is a ‘Casanova’, he loves his lovers and I dare say that you are calling the kettle black, my love.”

Queen Serenity blushes and she responds, “I was young…”

Geminios says, “And you will always be that young woman at heart and in body, Serenity.” Geminios embraces Queen Serenity and she giggles as Geminios kisses her on the lips and touches her in intimate ways.

When they release from the kiss, Queen Serenity says, with a sigh, “You are right, my love. He does take care of his lovers despite seducing so badly that they become very ‘overly intimate’ and not caring how many other women that he has in his life. They are part of our family’s ‘inner circle’ now.”

Within the Juuban district, we find Ami Mizuno arriving at the door of her apartment home and she starts to hear sounds coming from the door.

Ami recognizes the sounds are female moans and she thinks in her mind, “Mom?”

Ami knocks on the door and a female voice responds, in a husky voice, “Yes?”

Ami responds, “Mom, it’s me!”

The female voice responds, “Ami! I’ll be there in a minute!” After about a minute, the door unlocks and opens to reveal Ami’s mother, Saeko Mizuno, a lovely woman with short blue hair and blue eyes, answers the door and leads Ami inside where she sees a handsome man that looks to be about 30 years of age with short well-combed yet ‘slick’ black hair and deep hazel eyes.

The man tells Ami, “Welcome home, Ami.”

Ami says, with a smile, “Col-san.”

Saeko tells Ami, with a smile, “Ami-chan, we’ve been seeing each other for years now.”

Ami tells Saeko, “Mom, you are home early.”

Saeko says, with a smile, “With my new position, I’ve been getting more done and it has been wonderful work.”

Ami says, “You seem very happy, mom.”

Saeko says, “Thanks to my new position, we’ve developed wonderful new ways of helping others more efficiently and I can spend more time with you, Ami-chan. Anyway, I have good news. You are going to start interning soon with me.”

Ami asks, surprised, “Huh?”

Saeko tells Ami, with a giggle, “I take it that you haven’t seen this.” Saeko hands Ami some papers and Ami’s eyes widen.

Ami asks, “Are you sure about this?”

Saeko says, with a smile, “Yes, it was double checked, Ami-chan. You are already at the level of earning your bachelor’s degree already and if you keep this up, you may earn your doctoral degree within a few years.”

Ami asks, surprised, “But I… I’m just starting my college years!”

Saeko tells Ami, with a smile, “This is because you really studied so much during that horrible SAO incident, remember?”

Ami’s eyes widen and she says, with a blush, “I guess that I did.”

Saeko tells Ami, “I didn’t say anything because I knew that it was the only thing that kept you calm and focused, sweetie. I couldn’t blame you. It was horrible since two of your friends were trapped in something that’s supposed to be fun, but turned into a nightmare by that madman, Kayaba, and they could end up dead at any time. For a doctor like me, it was also a nightmare. I never felt so helpless in my entire medical career.”

Ami says, with a nod, “You were coming home after really late nights and you were so distressed.”

Saeko says, with a nod, “For a doctor like me and being unable to save those lives, it is a true living nightmare.”

The young man, Col, responds, with a warm loving smile, “Anyway, it’s over, Saeko-chan.”

Saeko says, with a nod, “Yes.”

Col tells Ami, “Anyway, Ami, we believe that we should let you know that your mother and I are going to marry.”

Ami asks, shocked, “What?”

Saeko shows a ring and she responds, “Yes, sweetie. Col-kun is going to be your new father and…” Saeko rubs her waist and she says, “And you are going to have a baby sister.”

Ami asks, stunned, “Mom, you are…?”

Saeko says, with a warm smile, “I had it confirmed. I’m pregnant.” Ami then leaps to her feet and an unreadable expression, she rushes to her room in which Saeko says, “Ami-chan!” When Ami closes the door behind her, Saeko says, with a sigh, “I shouldn’t be surprised by this reaction. Unconditional love between parent and child is biological after all.”

Col tells Saeko, with a warm loving smile, “She will understanding in time.” Col then puts Saeko onto his lap and starts to kiss her and touch her in an intimate fashion in which we can fully see that Saeko is wearing the same earrings that Sailor Moon and Sailor Star had on earlier. Within her room, Ami has a look of disbelief on her face and she then sees a box with a note on it.

The note reads: ‘Dear Ami, I knew that you would react in the way of my marriage to Col-kun and I can assure you that I’m not trying to replace your father. And I will never replace you, Ami. What happened between your father and I… It was… more or less a passionate whirlwind romance, but it was a romance that didn’t have anything firm in it. However, it did produce something wonderful: You, my lovely daughter. You are the greatest thing in my life even though I left you alone so much. And it pained more with you being so mature and so understanding. You are pretty and smart and I was glad that you finally gained friends. But when I learned the truth about you being one of the Sailor Scouts, I was shocked and fearful, however, after you had explained everything to me, I know that there was no stopping you. Your friends are also your family, but I hope that you don’t forget that I am your family and I love you. Love, your mother.’

Ami thinks in her mind, with a warm smile, “Mom.” Ami puts the letter down and she opens the box, but she gasps when she sees the same earrings that Sailor Moon and Sailor Star wore earlier on. Ami thinks in her mind, “Those earrings… they are the ones that Serena and Hinata wore… the ones that connect them to the Black Crystal… why would mother…?” Just then the crystal earrings glow in front of her eyes and she couldn’t stop looking at them in which she sees an image of Sailor Moon lying down on a bed with tears in her eyes.

‘Sailor Moon’ asks, “Who am I really? Who is Serena Tsukino?”

Ami asks, “Sailor Moon?” As she looks on, Ami can feel the inner turmoil and a desire to be there for her leader as images of her time in the Silver Millennium in which she and the other Inner Sailor Scouts are with Princess Serenity, but she can tell… Ami knows that they were more than Princess Serenity’s best friend, they were like sisters. They were like family. A part of her is telling her is not to get fooled, but the pain and inner turmoil that she is feeling from Sailor Moon makes her want to be there for her as images of her and her mother being so happy causing her to collapse to the floor.

(A good time afterwards; At MBI headquarters)

Within MBI headquarters, Sailor Moon, still in Black Swordsman form, is sweating a lot as a dream dominates her mind. She finds herself or should I say, a younger Serena Tsukino with Kayaba himself in which they are by a tree on a hill overlooking Aincard in which the younger Serena is smiling at Kayaba and Kayaba is warmly smiling at Serena. Sailor Moon then wakes up in a cold sweat and looks to see Naruto and Hinata in front of her.

Hinata asks, “Are you okay?”

Sailor Moon sits up and she says, “Just a dream.’

Naruto asks, “A dream?”

Sailor Moon says, “Nothing important.”

Sailor Moon then notices her attire and Hinata says, “You were really upset when we got back and you didn’t transform back even.”

Sailor Moon says, “Yeah.” Sailor Moon then leaps out of the bed and she accesses her Neuro-Linker tapping into the virtualization system and preparing to go to Rainbow Gardens which alerts Naruto’s and Hinata’s Neuro-Linkers in which messages appear in front of their eyes.

Naruto asks, “Hey, Moon-chan, you are activating the virtualization chambers?!”

Sailor Moon says, “I need to go to Rainbow Gardens.”

Hinata asks, “Why?”

Sailor Moon responds, with a warm smile, “I need you to trust me on this one, Hinata.”

Naruto says, “We’ll go with you.”

Sailor Moon says, shaking her head, “No, I need to go alone.” Naruto and Hinata give looks of surprise and Sailor Moon says, with a warm smile, “I need for you to trust me.”

Hinata and Naruto nod their heads and Hinata says, “We do trust you, but we just worry about you especially with your memories.”

Sailor Moon responds, “I’ll be okay, Hinata.” Sailor Moon then heads off to the virtualization chambers while Naruto and Hinata give looks of concern on their faces.

(Sometime soon after; In Rainbow Gardens)

Inside of the virtual world of Rainbow Gardens, there is a tree like that in the one that Sailor Moon was dreaming about where Kayaba, in his avatar of Heathcliff, is waiting and looking at his Neo Aincard when he hears footsteps and he looks to see Sailor Moon walking towards him.

Kayaba says, “It has been a long time… Serena.”

Sailor Moon says, “You don’t deserve to say that name… A man that caused nothing, but pain and misery for so many people especially his own family. You dare to call Serena Tsukino ‘your princess’ when you stole that part of me away from me?! How could you?! You fiend!”

Kayaba responds, “I see that you have seen the video that I left for you and Sugou must have told you.”

Sailor Moon says, “You have got some nerve, you coward.”

Kayaba replies, “Logically, you have a point, my dear.”

Sailor Moon says, with a glare, “Don’t call me that! You have no right to call Serena Tsukino family! Not when you took that part of me away from me!” As tears flow in her eyes, Sailor Moon says, “Do you know how empty I feel without her? Not knowing who I fully am? But then again, a genocidal murderer like you wouldn’t care!”

Kayaba retorts, “I’m sorry, Serena. You probably know that I hid something inside of you long ago. I had ‘gained’ this during my early developments of Sword Art Online. You know about Yui, the medical counseling program that evolved beyond her programming and became the daughter of Kirito and Asuna, do you?”

Sailor Moon asks, “What does she have to do about it?”

Kayaba responds, “She wasn’t the first. However, unlike Yui, I never programmed these AI. They were created by the virtual world on its own.”

Sailor Moon responds, stunned, “What?”

Kayaba says, “They could have revolutionized the world and they could have enhanced my game to new levels, but my mistakes led to their destruction and I hid their secrets inside of you and your memories. However, my work was too well done and the secrets that I hid inside of you became so ‘integrated’ with your memories that I had to remove those memories to take it out since that threat that destroyed these AI who’s secrets that I hid in you want it.”

Sailor Moon says, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Elucidator! Dark Repulser!” Soon after, the named swords appear on Sailor Moon’s back and she draws her swords.

(Sword Art Online music ‘Swordland’ starts)

Sailor Moon tells Kayaba, “I’ve heard enough! It seems you care about your precious research more than the niece that you care to love!”

Kayaba responds, “I understand your sentiment, Serena… No, Sailor Moon. However, despite what you think, I do and always will care for you and Ikuko. This is why I plan to make sure that there is the greatest chance that my sister’s family will never have to suffer for thing that I have done and I alone have done of my own will. And yes, I also plan to pay for twisting the dream that you had for Sword Art Online and not knowing the truth. It is why I have set this up.”

Sailor Moon says, “You are a coward, Kayaba. But if you want your end so badly… I can give it to you!” Sailor Moon charges in for the attack while Kayaba quickly draws his sword from his shield and the two of them go into an intense fight with Sailor Moon using both of her swords while Kayaba uses his sword and shield in which Kayaba knows that this isn’t SAO and that means his knowledge of the Duel Welding Sword Skill that he created is useless which is proven right as Sailor Moon moves her body around like a female gymnast causing her to bend and twist out of the way of Kayaba’s attack while counterattack as she cuts his shoulders and his face.

Kayaba says, with a smile, “Well done, my dear. You are using a woman’s biological superior agility and flexibility to a male to counter my power strikes and leaving me open to attack.”

Sailor Moon responds, “Sorry if I’m not flattered.”

Kayaba says, with a smile, “You are good, my dear, but in order to get back what I took, you will need to do better.” Just then Kayaba leaps back, attached his shield to left side of his left arm, and creates a duplicate of his sword that he puts into his right hand in which a duplicate shield appears attached to the right side of his right arm.

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, shocked, “Duel Swords AND Duel Shields?!”

Kayaba responds, “Why so shocked, my princess? This may be a virtual world, but this is no game!” Kayaba then counterattacks with both of his swords and protecting himself with both of his shields and despite Sailor Moon’s dodges using her agility and flexibility, Kayaba regains the edge which shows when he is able to cut Sailor Moon in the right side and the right leg. Kayaba asks her, with a smile, “What’s wrong, my dear? I thought that you wanted your memories as Serena Tsukino back. But then again, maybe you don’t want them back!”

Sailor Moon says, with a glare, “You don’t know what you are talking about!”

Kayaba responds, “Do I? You said it yourself! You kept talking about feeling guilty for not ‘performing’ as Sailor Moon as a reason for your beloved’s death citing your desire for a normal life as selfish. Because you feel that way, do you really want the part of you that’s Serena Tsukino, the part of you that you blame for your pain?” Sailor Moon gains an out of character dark sneer and she charges in for the attack in which she attacks with super-fast speed with her blades like blurs, but Kayaba manages to block them with his twin swords and shields. He then manages to somehow move Sailor Moon where she suffers one of her ‘klutz attacks’ from her younger days and Kayaba’s sword is at her neck.

Sailor Moon asks, “What are you waiting for?”

Kayaba replies, “You have become strong, my dear. However, you aren’t ready. Return home.”

Sailor Moon responds, “I want… I need my life back and I will get it back.”

Kayaba and Sailor Moon look at each and then a male voice shouts out, “Kayaba!” Sailor Moon and Kayaba only for Kazuto, in his form of Kirito the Black Swordsman of SAO, appear with his two swords and he swipes at Kayaba in which he manages to dodge with ease. On the meanwhile, Rika, Keiko, Asuna, Sailor Celestial, Sailor Sun, Sailor Milky Way, and the Digidestined arrive on the scene.

Sailor Moon asks, “What are you doing here?”

Sailor Sun says, “That’s we should be asking you, Meatball Head.”

Kazuto says, “We manage to go through more of the flash drive and found something interesting.”

Kayaba says, “I see.”

Kazuto asks Kayaba, “What’s the big idea of stealing your own niece’s memories, Kayaba? Haven’t you caused them especially your own sister enough grief?”

Kayaba responds, “As I have stated before in all forms, I make no excuses for my actions and as for taking my princess’ memories, I already have told her the basic tale. It is a vast and complicated story.”

Kazuto retorts, “So, your precious game and research means more to you that your own family, huh?” Kayaba then glares at Kazuto with a look of irritation on his expression which is surprise to Kazuto since Kayaba has never expressed such a thing and he has shown nothing, but a cool and calm demeanor.

Kayaba responds, regaining a calm look, “I don’t expect you to understand, Kirito, but if you wish for that rematch, I am glad to oblige.” Kayaba then attack Kazuto and he fight back with his two swords, but he doesn’t even make Kayaba flinch a bit.

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Oh, man! Kayaba… He… He’s stronger than before! I can tell!” And Kazuto got a firsthand in which Kayaba dodges a sword strike, spins around on his heels, and delivers a powerful kick to Kazuto’s waist which sends him flying into a tree which gets knocked down from the impact and collapses before turning into a digital pixels.

Asuna says, shocked, “Kirito-kun!”

Sailor Celestial says, stunned, “Big brother!”

Kayaba tells Kazuto, “This isn’t SAO, Kirito. This may be a virtual world, but it isn’t a game world. The only ‘rules’, here, are those that create with your will or lack of will.” Asuna, Rika, and Keiko go over to Kazuto while Sailor Celestial prepares to transform.

Sailor Sun asks Sailor Milky Way, “Ready to join the party?”

Sailor Milky Way responds, with a grin, “Born ready!”

“Celestial Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

“Sun Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Amazon Blood Knight!”

“Milky Way Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Blacksmith Macer!”

With those words, Sailor Celestial changing into her form based on her brother’s SAO avatar, Sailor Sun changes into her Blood Knight form, and Sailor Milky Way has changed into a brand new form too.

Sailor Milky Way is wearing a cloth form of her armored fuku with a black armored chest plate over her chest area, dark silver armored shoulder pads, elbow pads, and wrist bands, which are over thick brown work gloves, black armored kneepads, steel toed brown combat boots on her feet, and she has a hammer attached to the rear of her skirt.

Plenty of the others look at Sailor Milky Way and Rika asks, “Is that based on me?”

Kayaba asks, with a smile, “Do you think that a change of clothing will beat me?”

Sailor Milky Way then asks, with a smirk, “Then how about this?” From a sub-space pocket, Sailor Milky Way pulls out a giant mace that’s her height and has a huge spiked head on it.

There are multiple gasps and Matt asks, “Where did she get that?”

Tai responds, nervously, “I don’t want to know.” Sailor Milky Way roars as she swings the mace down on Kayaba, who blocks it with both of his shields, but the sheer forces of the blow causes a major shockwave when it hits causing the ground around Kayaba’s feet to majorly crack around him as well as destroy his shields which vanish in digital pixels.

Sailor Celestial says, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Elucidator! Dark Repulser!” The two named swords appear on Sailor Celestial’s back and Sailor Sun draws her twin rapier in which the two of them leap into the fight against Kayaba, who is stunned from Sailor Milky Way’s attack, but Kayaba manages to recover and counter their attacks. The battle becomes two on one in which they engage in an intense fight.

Kayaba says, “Let’s see you and your sensei do better, Miss Celestial.”

Sailor Celestial responds, “You are going to find that I’m more than you can handle, you murderous freak!”

Kayaba says, “Then let’s see your new skills!”

Sailor Sun responds, “Oh, yeah! Take this, jerk!” Sailor Sun fires an energy beam at Kayaba, who gives a surprised look, but manages to duck under the attack.

Kayaba says, with a smile, “Very good, but I have improved too.” Kayaba then swipes his sword and sends an energy wave right at Sailor Sun, who cuts it down with her sword, but Kayaba gets to her and rams his right knee into her gut, knocking the wind out of her, and sending her skidding back.

Davis yells out, “Are you okay, sis?”

Sailor Sun responds, plainly, “Peachy.” On the meanwhile, Sailor Celestial takes over the swordfight with Kayaba on her own.

Kazuto says, concerned, “Sugu!”

Sailor Celestial says, “Don’t worry, Kazuto, I can take him!”

Kayaba responds, with a sly smile, “Really?” Sailor Celestial and Kayaba continue to fight each other, but Kayaba manages to cut Sailor Celestial in the left cheek and he asks, in a taunting tone, “Is that all?”

Sailor Celestial shouts out, strongly, “Not even close!” Sailor Celestial continues her assault and Kayaba manages to block her attack, but her blades start to become a blur and Kayaba can’t even follow them and he then gets cut in the cheek. However, Sailor Celestial’s single cut start to turn into multiple cuts as the sword strikes are moving beyond human speed and Sailor Celestial thinks in her mind, “This… This person… No, this monster… this fiend… He stole two years of my brother’s life… stole the lives so many people… caused pain and misery to his victim’s families… their friends… everyone that they loved and cared for… and now, he has stolen the memories of his own niece… I have to stop him… No, I… I have to destroy him!!!” As her memories of the SAO incident ring in her mind, Sailor Celestial gains a determined and deadly expression on her face as she continues her attack in which she then surprises Kayaba by swing her swords away and bashing him in the face with a punch and she then follows up with a swift kick to the gut.

Rika says, amazed, “Whoa! Your sister is wailing on him!” Sailor Celestial then spins around so her back was to Kayaba, she grabs his right arm, and she slams him to the ground via a judo throw. Kayaba attempts to swipe at her feet, but Sailor Celestial easily leaps out of the way, however, Kayaba showed that he used it to get back to his feet.

“Milky Way Megaton Mace!”

However, Kayaba gasps as he is slammed in the chest by Sailor Milky Way ramming another large mace with a spiked head through not as large as the one that she used to destroy his shields which is glowing and slams into him with the force of an Abrams tank ramming into a simple brick wall which send him skidding back 500 yards and through four trees before he crashes into a fifth one which sends a lot of dirt and dust into the air. Sailor Celestial rushes forward and when Kayaba stumbles out of the dust and dirt, he finds Sailor Celestial’s swords around his neck.

(Sword Art Online music ‘Swordland’ ends)

Sailor Celestial tells Kayaba, “Game over.”

Kayaba says, “That would be so, but I am just data, my dear.”

Sailor Celestial just smirks and she then says, seriously, “Aincard! Transfer virus ‘Spirit Slayer’ into Dark Repulser!” Sailor Celestial’s Dark Repulser starts to glow.

Kayaba says, “I see.”

Sailor Celestial says, “Then you get that this is a special virus that once I cut off your head, it will make sure that you are deleted for good!”

Kayaba says, “I know, but is this justice or is this revenge? It seems to me that this is more for taking away your precious brother for two years of your life and after gaining your own love for the virtual world, for using the virtual world to cause the ‘SAO incident’.”

Sailor Celestial says, with a sneer, “You took something that should have been a new frontier for mankind and warped it into a prison! Do you know how many days that my mother spent in tears as she spent looking at my brother knowing that one day he could end up dead? Well, you put knives on the necks of those people and my brother and now, the tables have turned!”

Kayaba says, “Yes, I can see that. My life is now in your hands. However, unless you have what it takes, you can’t do it. Let’s see if you have what it takes to kill someone in cold blood.”

Sailor Celestial gains an angered expression and she prepares to do that act, but Kazuto’s voice shouts out, “Sugu, stop!” When Sailor Celestial stops and she looks at her brother, Kazuto says, “He isn’t worth it, Sugu! He deserves complete oblivion, that’s for sure, but not at the price that you are about to pay. Do this and you could be going down a ‘dark path’ yourself, Sugu. Kayaba isn’t worth it.” Sailor Celestial hesitates for a moment, but just a moment until she withdraws her swords from Kayaba’s neck.

Sailor Celestial says, “You’re right, Kazuto. He isn’t worth it. Aincard, remove virus ‘Spirit Slayer’ from Dark Repulser.” After Sailor Celestial’s Dark Repulser glows, she returns it and her other sword to sheaths behind her back and she walks away.

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Celestial, “You did the right thing, Celestial.”

Sailor Milky Way says, with a nod, “As much as that bastard deserves oblivion, it isn’t worth destroying yourself in the process.”

Kayaba looks at Sailor Moon, who has her swords drawn, in which he asks, “So, what will you do, my dear?”

Sailor Moon sheaths her swords and she says, “I could take you down, but even if I did and I regained that part of me that’s Serena Tsukino, I would be disgusted at what I had become. But make no mistake, I will get part that of my mind and my heart and you will pay for your crimes, Kayaba.”

Sailor Moon then turns away and takes off into the distance in which Kazuto asks Kayaba, “Was this all worth it, Kayaba? Was all that happened worth turning your own family in your own worst enemies?”

Kayaba responds, “What would you prefer if it was your own family? Your enemies and alive or loving you and dead?” Soon after, Kayaba is surrounded by a blue glow before he vanishes and teleport away.

When he is gone, Sailor Celestial says, plainly, “Jerk.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “Forget him, Celestial.”

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Milky Way, “It looks like Meatball Head, the Hyuga Princess, Sailor Celestial, and I are the only ones mastering their Legendium powers.”
Sailor Milky Way says, with a grin, “Yeah, I’m liking this form, sis.”

Matt says, lowly, “You would, Jun.”

Sailor Milky Way tells Matt, with a glare, “What was that Ishida?”

Matt responds, nervously, “Nothing, Jun.”

Sailor Sun says, “Anyway, we should head back.”

Sailor Celestial asks Sailor Milky Way, “Hey, Milky Way, does that form give you blacksmithing skills?”

Sailor Milky Way says, with a grin, “Yep! Big time!” Sailor Celestial then whispers something to Sailor Milky Way and she nods her head in which the two Scouts motion for Rika to come over. After she does so, they discuss something in whispers causing Rika to get excited and the others can’t help to wonder what they are talking about.

(Back at MBI headquarters; a good time later on)

Inside of MBI headquarters, Queen Serenity and Geminios were confronting Sailor Moon within the virtualization chamber.

Geminios tells Sailor Moon, “Serenity, I know that you are distraught, but this isn’t like you at all!”

Sailor Moon responds, “That’s the point, dad! I don’t know ‘me’!”

Queen Serenity tells Sailor Moon, “We know, Serenity. And we are concerned for you, Serenity.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod of understanding, “I know. I’m sorry.”

Queen Serenity hugs Sailor Moon and she tells her, “We know, my daughter.”

Geminios tells Sailor Moon, “Anyway, my daughter, there is someone to see you.” Sailor Moon gives a confused look and she then hears footsteps in which she is surprised to see Ami, wearing the same ‘dark earrings’ as Sailor Moon is, walks into the room.

Sailor Moon asks, “What are you doing here?”

Ami walks over and she responds, “Why do you think that I’m here, Sailor Moon? I’m here for my princess.” Ami goes over and she hugs Sailor Moon in which tears come to her eyes and she hugs back.

Sailor Moon says, weakly, “Mercury-chan…”

Ami responds, “I’m here for you. I’m always going to be here for you.” Sailor Moon’s and Ami’s earrings give off a dark glow for a second and when they release from the hug, Ami tells Sailor Moon, “Sailor Moon, you need to know this. Kaguya has been revived.”

Sailor Moon yells out, stunned, “What?!”

Naruto and Sailor Star enter the room and Naruto says, “Ami just told us, Moon-chan.”

Sailor Star says, “She managed to get enough of phoenix fire from Sailor Sun to restored her body, but she is not at full strength. Sailor Sun is preparing an assault to take her out for good. She didn’t want you to know since she feels that it is her responsibility since you and Naruto nearly lost your lives against Kaguya.”

Sailor Moon says, “That’s kind of her, but Kaguya is…”

Naruto says, interrupting, “Our power, Moon-chan. It’s time that we end this and Kaguya, once and for all.”

Sailor Moon nods her head and she asks, “Where is she, Ami?”

Ami responds, “She is at the North Pole. Where the Negaverse base on Earth was.”

Sailor Moon says, “I should have known when Jadeite came around.”

Ami says, “Sailor Sun believes that Kaguya’s power is at least half strength and close to seventy percent at best.”

Naruto says, “Not if she decides to go ‘chakra harvesting’.”

Sailor Star asks, “Why hasn’t she?”

Ami says, “I believe that she wants to go back to Gaea and gain the power that she needs from there.”

Sailor Moon says, “Not if we have something to say about it.” Sailor Moon asks Sailor Star, “Ready to finish our ‘special project’?”

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “I am, Sailor Moon.”

(At the North Pole; on the meanwhile)

Inside of the North Pole, Kaguya is looking at a gateway into the Elemental Countries and the Moon Kingdom.

Kaguya says, “My garden is infested with these vermin that my wretched first children dared to protect and the home of that wretched Moon Kingdom where the creatures that Hagoromo used to contain my original chakra are staying. The Moon Kingdom… the Silver Millennium… where it all began…”

And that’s the end of the chapter, everyone! Interesting twist, huh? However, just so you know, spoiler alert, I plan to use idea of Serena/Sailor Moon and Kayaba being related in a future story, but that’s in the future, everyone. Anyway, I have been reading up on the latest information from the Wikipedia sites and whatnot on Naruto anime/manga universe and plan to use that in this story, folks!
