Fox- FINALLY! I THOUGHT I'D NEVER UPDATE!

Touya- Why would you think that?

Fox- Because of all the freakin' work I'm getting. AND ALL OF IT IS DUE THE 8TH! WHAT THE FUCKS WRONGS WITH THESE PEOPLE MAKING EVERYTHING DUE ON THE 8TH!!!!!

Kurama- What's everything?

Fox- A project on the freakin' Ming Dynasty! Why the hell am I going to need to know that!? And a lab, labs I don't mind though. UH but then there's that freakin' essay! I'm going to slaughter Ms. Predham!

Jin- Why?

Fox- Because I have to let a family member read it! Do you realize that I can't let them read it! The deal is I tell them what I get but they don't look at it!

Rinku- What's it about?

Fox- You have to tell of an embarrassing moment or a funny one.

Yusuke- Which one did you pick?

Fox- My cousin's confirmation… Hey wait you people have to read the story! So… I don't own shit ok!? Now read the story! Hope ya like.

Hiei- If you have time to update your stories then why don't you use that time to research on your project or work on your lab?

Fox-… you're joking.

Hiei- I don't joke.

Fox- GOOD CAUSE IT WASN'T FUNNY!

Previously- ~*~Hoshi's POV~*~

"They seemed nice," Tsuki said as we neared the house.

"Yeah but I got a bad vibe from them," I said as I pulled into the garage.

"You're telling me those first boys gave me a bad feeling," Tsuki said.

"I know but I can't pay attention to that now. I have to find Beryl and stop her before she finds out I'm alone," I said and gathered the bags and walked inside but not without looking back to see if anyone was there.

~*~Hiei's POV~*~

I watched her enter her home from a tree near her house. She spotted me but didn't do anything about it.

"Beryl," I repeated softly but cringed. That word was like poison to me and this is the first time I heard it.

I watched her run inside and looked around the house for a place to enter. That's when I noticed a nearby window with a vinery under it. I appeared in front of it and opened the window. It was open and I crept inside.

The room was the perfect size for me, not to big but not to small, with a mattress with sheets on the floor. I walked over to it, why would she sleep on the floor? I continued to look around and noticed there were many lamps. I didn't understand why she needed so many but when I flicked on a nearby switch it looked beautiful. The lights were dim and looked like fireflies only different colors.

I walked over to a desk and saw a picture of her and other people that looked older then her. They were smiling and laughing. I looked on the back of it and was she wrote "Friends for life, the Sailor Scouts." I placed it back the way she had it and looked next to it. There was a rectangular black box on her desk. I picked it up. It was flat and heavy for something like this. I placed it back on the desk and pushed a button that was on the front side of it. It clicked and curious I flipped it open. There were a lot more buttons on it with letters, numbers, and punctuation on them. But then there were buttons that had little words that didn't make any sense to me.

`Ctrl, alt, shift, tab, caps, esc, what the hell is this shit?' I thought as I noticed a small button that said power on it.

I pushed that button and the screen flashed. I jumped back and drew out my katana. Words flashed on the screen then disappeared and then the picture on the desk popped up on the screen. I looked at it and noticed the picture was still on the desk. I slowly walked towards it. I watched it as these little pictures came up and the thing made a noise. I jumped back and pointed my katana at it. I walked over and poked it and noticed it apposed no threat to me. I stood in front of it and looked at all the little pictures. I reached out to touch one but was stopped by something. I tried again but I couldn't touch it.

`How am I going to know what these things are if I can't even touch them?' I thought as I looked over and noticed a small object.

I pushed it and a thing on the screen moved. It was a pointed type object that was white. I moved the object again and saw the thing move in the direction I wanted it to.

"So this is how you control this thing," I said out loud as I moved it over an oddly shaped blue object and an orange thing next to it. Under it said `Musicmatch Jukebox'. I moved over the pointed thing to it and looked at it. Nothing happened.

`Work!' I shouted mentally in my head as I tapped the thing.

It clicked and something popped up making a slight noise. I hushed it and looked at the door that was open. I looked out the crack of it and saw that no one noticed. That's when a blast of music came on. I looked at the thing and saw that it was playing music.

"Hoshi turn off your computer," I heard someone say.

`Shit,' I thought and left out the window and sat on a near by tree watching.

~*~Hoshi's POV~*~

I ran into my room and saw that the lamps were on and so was my computer.

"Weird I didn't turn it on today," I said and turned it off.

I felt a cold breeze and looked behind me. The window was open. I walked towards it and poked my head out. I looked around and saw no one. I cocked an eyebrow up and then slowly drew back. I closed the door and glanced around again. I heard a knock on the door and turned to see my mother standing there with two bowls of ice cream.

"I thought you and Tsuki would like some ice cream," my mother said and put it on my desk.

"Thanks Mom," I said and got the two bowls.

Tsuki sniffed it and turned away from it as I ate mine happily.

"SWEET SNOW!!!"

My mother and I looked out the window. I opened it and stuck my head out of it. I didn't see anything.

"I guess we're just hearing things," my mom said as she picked up the bowl.

"Mom can you leave that here?" I asked.

She smiled and placed it on my bed, "Too much of this and you won't be able to fit in your sailor scout outfit."

"Don't worry," I said as she left.

I looked back out the window and saw nothing. As I continued staring I saw a black flash move from tree to tree. I smiled and shouted, "HEY I CAN SEE YOU SO YOU CAN COME OUT NOW! I HAVE ICE CREAM IF YOU WANT IT!"

There was nothing and I thought maybe it was nothing. I was about to close the window when I saw someone standing there. I looked up and saw a guy standing there. He had piercing red eyes and black gravity-defying hair. He wore all black and was about 5'4" (hehe Hiei had a growth spurt). I smiled.

"Would you like to come in?" I asked as stepped to the side.

He walked inside and saw the bowls of ice cream sitting on the bed. He picked the one that was full up and ate it extremely fast.

"I wouldn't eat it that fast if I were you," I said stepping towards him.

"And why not?" he snapped.

"Because you'll-." Just then he stood there frozen. I sighed, "Get brain freeze."

I stood in front of him and placed my fingers hovering over the side of his head, "Now hold still."

I gently pressed against the sides and looked up at him. He blinked and shook his head. He then looked at me, "How did you do that?"

I smiled, "One of my friends taught me that trick. If you want you can have my ice cream too."

"Thanks," he said and ate my ice cream slowly.

When he was finished he set the bowls down and looked at me. I looked at him and realized we didn't know each other's names.

"Sorry for being rude. I'm Hoshi," I said bowing my head and looking back up.

He stared at me for a moment and replied, "Hiei." He then disappeared.

I stared at the window for a moment and didn't see him anywhere. `Wow he's so mysterious. I wonder how he moved so quickly. I guess I should have told him he could have used the front door.'

~*~Hiei's POV~*~

I growled to myself. `I could have used the door?!' She can destroy this world and yet she's so kind-hearted. She gave me food, let me come into her house without even knowing me, and cured me of brain freeze. Emotions inside me swelled confusing me.

I watched her from across the street where some trees were. She closed the window and went back inside. I sniffed the air and smelt her sweet fragrance. I felt my lips curl into a smile as I looked at her window.

"Hoshi," I repeated and disappeared.

Fox-…Hiei.

Hiei- What?

Fox- *From Miss. Congeniality* Oooooo… you think she's gorgeous… you wanna kiss… her… you wanna hug her… you wanna love… her… you wanna smooch… her, you wanna hug her.

Everyone but Hiei- *chuckles*

Hiei- -_-+++ you said hug and no I don't.

Fox- *points at Hiei* LIAR!!!

Yusuke- No really you did say `Hug' twice.

Fox-… Yusuke who's side are you on?

Yusuke- Neutral.
