Chapter Two,
It was raining the day of Usagi's service. Lots of people came as well as Luna and Artemis. Ikuko got onto the stage "ladies and gentleman thank you for coming to say good bye to our dear Usagi." Ikuko wipes a tear from her eye "before we began one of Usagi's best friend is going to sing for you all Rei come up here."
Rei climbs on the stage and waits for her music to start she clears her throat and begans to sing.
"Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven. Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven. I'll find my way through night and day cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven."
Rei takes a breath and casts her mind back to all the good times they had.
"Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven. Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven. I must be strong and carry on cause I know I don't belong here in heaven."
Rei stares at everyone who is crying what were they going to do without Usagi.
"Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees. Time can break your heart have you begging please, begging please."
Rei put down the mic and stared at everyone she raised it again.
"Beyond the door theres peace i'm sure and there will be no more tears in heaven." Rei wipes a tear from her eye.
"Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven. Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven. I'll find my way through night and day cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven."
The music winds down and Rei takes takes a deep breathe "Usagi chan was my best friend she taught me many things its not going to be the same without her."
Rei got down off the stage and went to sit down next to Ami. Ami wraped Rei up into a hug and they stayed that way till the end of the service.
After the service Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, and Mamoru went for a walk out of nowhere a white light grew infront of them until forming a figure. "Serenity Sama" Ami gasped Queen Serenity smiled
"Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Endymion i'm sorry this had to happen" Serenity looked at Ami's hand "Mercury i'm not sure if you realize this but your slowly becoming my daughter"
Ami gasps "you mean i'm becoming Usagi?" Queen Serenity nods
"QUEEN SERENITY HOW COULD YOU AMI IS MERCURY NOT SERENITY"
"Endymion I realize your upset but as Mercury now has the silver crystal and I know shes getting Serenity's memories" Ami nods slowly "i'm sorry but Mercury soon will be no more" Queen Serenity motions Ami to follow her
"Don't worry girls i'll be right back" Ami follows Serenity over to some graves.
"Oh Mercury I can't stay long but I have to tell you that you have a battle going on inside of you right now one side is Mercury the other Serenity now you must know that a lot of things are going to change your hair your appearence your inteligence other things."
Ami gasps "does this mean I will no longer be Mizuno Ami or Sailor Mercury" Serenity nods.
"I'm sorry Mercury" Ami runs away from Queen Serenity and goes to sit on a grave stone.
"Ami chan?" Makoto comes and sits next to Ami "Oh Mako chan i'm not going to be Ami much longer."
Makoto fumbles "nani do you mean"
Ami sighs "I'm Serenity now or I soon will be" Mako sighs
"is that what Serenity Sama told you?" Ami nods Makoto sighs and puts an arm around Ami "Then theres somthing I need to tell you before you become Serenity" Ami leans her head on Makoto's shoulder.
"What is it Mako chan?" Makoto sighs
"I love you Ami chan" Ami smiles "I love you to Mako chan I love all you guys your my best friends"
Makoto sighs again and looks at Ami "No you don't understand I 'Love' you Ami Mizuno"
Ami raises her head "you do since when?"
Makoto sighs "since we first met"
"um Mako chan?"
Makoto sighs and hopes shes not about to be hurt
"Nani?" Ami smiles
"I think I love you too" Makoto brightens and stares into Ami's dark blue eyes. Ami tilts her head
"jeez Mako chan if you want to kiss me go ahead" Makoto laughs but gently touches her lips to Ami's then pulls away Ami tasted like the sea. Ami licks her lips and grins "wow that was just wow I mean wow"
Makoto gently leans forward and kisses her again this time Ami meets her half way they kiss gently then hear Serenity's voice "Mercury, Jupiter I had no idea I mean you two hid your love for each other well." Ami looks up "Serenity Sama gomen I we er..."
Serenity smiles "I only came to say that I have to go now be well my senshi and mercury?" Ami looks up "don't fight the changes." Then she was gone.
