Makoto looks at Ami "what did she mean don't fight it?" Ami looks down at the ground "I am not quite sure what she means but I am sure I will understand in time" "what do you mean Ami chan?"
"didn't I just say I am going to be turning into Usagi?"
"hai but why don't you want to fight it?"
"because there is nothing I can do I hold the silver crystal now and the change is un avoidable"
Makoto sighs but looks at Ami thoughtfully "Ami do you really love me?"
"Yes Makoto love but there is nothing I can do" Ami starts softly sobbing
"but i'll always love you so why are you crying?"
"because I am going to look, act, and be as dumb as Usagi"
"Ami chan are you putting down Usagi chan?"
"no" voice trails off
"are you afraid I won't love you when you look like Usagi?"
"yes because I will have all of Usagi's memories and none of my own"
"you mean you won't remember how you feel about me?"
"I don't know yet..."
Makoto gets a weird look "does this mean you will love Mamoru san????????????"
Ami chan looks at the ground "probablyÉ"
Makoto sniffles softly "oh Ami chan but"
Ami is very confused about everything "but what?"
"I love you..."
"I love you too Makoto chan but there is nothing I can do to stop the changes"
"Ami chan your going to have to fight."
"fight what?"
"the changes Ami chan fight them for the sake of you and me"
"but queen serenity..."
"SCREW QUEEN SERENITY"
"but what about Sailor Moon someone has to take her place"

"But Usagi used her magic to make this ring as a birthday present to me" Holds up hand to show Makoto the ring

"I am not going to give up on my love for you easily but I think I should use this as a present to Usagi because she is the only one that could come to my birthday..."
Makoto jumps off of the grave stone "think about what it will cost you to give up your life as Mizuno Ami sailor mercury and as my love..." Makoto slowly walks away into the distance.
"Mokoto.....Please......Dont.....Leave....me" Ami starts sobbing harder into her hands
Makoto stops and makes her hands into fists "damn you queen serenity for doing this to her"
Scene changes to Queen Serenity
Queen Serenity is in the Moon Kingdom pacing back and forth " I did not mean for this to happen but I had no other way of telling Ami that the silver crystal chose her to be the princess of the moon kingdom"
Usagi looks up from where she's watching "Mama does it have to be like this?"
"I don't know how to change the silver crystal's mind"
"very well mama..."
scene changes back to Ami who has fallen asleep
Makoto looks over the form of her sleeping angel "gomen Ami chan" Makoto gently strokes then kisses Ami's hand. Since its late Makoto picks Ami up and carries her back to her apt setting Ami down on the couch she gets ready to spend the night watching over her.
The next morning, when Ami wakes up the next morning not noticing that the changes have already begun.
Makoto looks up and looks into Ami's eyes "GODS Ami chan your eyes...."
"what?" Ami gets up and goes into the bathroom to look in the mirror. She notices the change and starts to cry "No why do the changes have to be so soon?"
"Ami chan????" Makoto hurries into the bathroom
Ami falls to the floor in tears "WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE ME?"
"Ami chan I'm here please don't cry"
"Mako chan will you still love me after the changes have completed?"
"hai"
"but I will have all of Usagi's memories and not mine and I will be in love with Mamoru"
"You may think that and the changes may give him your mind but your heart will always belong to me"
Scene changes to Queen Serenity
Queen serenity is sitting on the thrown and Usagi is sitting next to her
"Usagi chan I have an idea"
"what is it mama?"
"What if we could find a different candidate for Sailor Mercury with all of Ami's memories?"
"no mama I think Makoto's right even if Ami chan becomes me she'll always love Makoto"
"but we still don't know if that is going to be how it works"
"when Mamoru forgot his love for me I never gave up hope and he found that he did love me"
"This is true do you think the crystal can change Ami's feelings towards Makoto after she changes into you because I don't know if it can change a persons heart we only know that it can change a persons mind"
"Ami chan's heart will be her own..."
"Than we must tell Ami of this..."
"No, she must find out on her own"
"But we must help her along so she doesn't have to go through the changes alone"
"look down on earth...she won't"
