Chapter 3- Houses and Questions

Christopher Robin had already walked two blocks and was near the end of his journey to the home that he would stay at for the next three months. Finally he approached the street the house was located on.let's see,' he thought to himself. 'It's number 8542.' He walked a ways down the street, and then found his desired destination.really hope all goes well...' Christopher Robin thought as he knocked politely on the door. A smiling lady of around 22 opened the door. She had very long pink hair and answered the door with a hair brush in her hand.
"Oh, hi! You must be Christopher Robin. I've been expecting you. Come on in."
"Thank you," he said, returning the look of kindness she gave him. He walked in and she kindly led him to the guest room he'd be staying in.
"Thanks a lot."
"No problem. I'm looking foward to the next three months. They ought to be interesting."Robin smiled. 'Exactly what I was thinking...' he thought as he noticed that all his suitcases were already in the room. "Thanks for bringing my bags in."
"I know how it is to be in a new place. You need all the help you can get. Your welcome. I printed out a schedule of a few things you might want to know, like when I do laundry. Dinner is usually at around 6:00 p.m., and, contrary to most belief, we don't have rice every night, so you don't have to worry. Oh, and sushi's cooked." she added, turning around in the doorway.and, all the dresser and desk space is yours." Christopher Robin smiled in reply. That woman really had a lot of charisma.
At around 5:00, when Christopher Robin was settled at the desk in his room struggling through some English homework, he heard a key jingle slightly outside, and then a lock being opened.must be her daughter she had mentioned when I first arrived,' he thought, bracing himself for the confrontation. But what he was about to meet, he didn't know he how much he wasn't ready for.
"Mother?!?" came a voice from the front door. "I'm home! Sorry I'm late! I was at the Crossroads Cafe and I accidently got caught up in a heated debate in philosophy."former Chibi-Usa appeared in front of her. "It's okay for now, but you need to try and get home sooner," she gave her daughter a slightly disapproving glance, then remembered her manners.
"Oh! I almost forgot. Remember when you handed me that flyer on the exchange student program and welcome a student into my home, well, when you were at school, I called and said I would participate in it. And now, I forgot to mention to you, we have a guest in our home for the next three months."
"M-m-m-oth-" Chibi-Chibi stuttered, not wanting to know who it was. It had seemed like Christopher Robin was getting too involved in her personal life, and living with her would just put the cherry of bummer upon her unlucky sundae.
"Christopher Robin! My daughter's here!" And then Chibi-Chibi cringed with hopelessness. This was going to be a long, unforgetable, three months.Robin slowly came out of his room more slowly than usual. Chibi-Chibi put on her pleasant, heart-warming smile just to make him feel welcomed.
"Chibi-Chibi?" Christopher Robin suddenly gasped as he turned the corner into the living room where the two females were.
"Um...hi? Don't freak, I only found out about this whole thing now."
"Understandable." He turned to a confused young mother and explained, "We met at school. I have every class with her."dazed smile transformed into a joyous grin of sunshine. "Well, I'm glad we all know each other. Chibi-Chibi, why don't you show him around the house?"
"Sure, mother," Chibi-Chibi agreed. He seemed like he didn't really want to invade her personal space, and he couldn't really help what was happening, maybe everything would turn out alright.
"Okay, this," she began, "is the hallway to most of the rooms, except yours, which is over there," she pointed. Then she walked down the hallway. "First door to your left is my room, then the second door to your left is my mom's room, and the only door to your right is a bathroom. There's also a bathroom connecting our rooms that my mom said we could share. Are you getting all of this?"
"Yup. Down hallway to right from doorway is, on the left from closest to farthest, your room, then your mom's room, and the only room on the right is a bathroom. There is also a bathroom connecting our rooms that your mom said we would be able to share." He smiled. She was so pretty, her bright blue eyes shone with innocence and intelligence. She looked like a superior being of some kind.
"Now," she started off again, snapping Christopher Robin out of his trance and walking out of the hallway towards the kitchen, "this room off the kitchen-" she flung herself through the white cafe doors, "is the dining room where we eat everyday. And the room off the dining room on the far end is Cynthia's room. You're never allowd to go in there unless Cynthia wants or tells you to. I mean it; you don't go in there. I'm sorry," she said on a much happier note, "I didn't mean to sound menacing." She giggled.
"It's okay," Christopher Robin assured.
"Oh, and the room you walk into from outside when you just enter the house is the living room. That's about it. It's small, but it works."
"I think that it's cozy. I know boys don't normally say things like that, but I think it is." He looked into the brilliant blue pools of her eyes. She was so pure. A few curly whisps of red hair fell in her face adding to her beauty. Christopher Robin felt something he had never felt before. Although he didn't really know what it was, he liked it. Did he like this girl? He couldn't afford to like any girl now though, his studies were consuming all his time. How did she do it? She was able to go out with friends and debate on philosophy, and get her homework done! He suddenly wondered what her GPA was and if she could possibly tutor him.
"Umm....I know it's probably rude to ask this, but ummmm..."
"Yeah?" Chibi-Chibi asked innocently.
"Well...I was just curious...what's your GPA? I mean, if you don't mind telling me, 'cause I know it's none of my business or anything, and-" Chibi-Chibi put her index finger over his mouth and she gave him an odd sexy/secretive/forgiving/assuring look (A/N: don't ask...he can't interpret her signals correctly...) that started to make him wonder.out of almost absolute nowhere, a voice rang out, "Dinner's ready!" and scared the two teens. After being scared almost completely out of their minds, they stared at each other for around four whole, long seconds, and then burst out with uncontrolable laughter. As they walked into the dining room, they were suddenly quite hushed. Yet, niether of them had the slightest idea of what had just happened and why.
