~Chap. 6: A tear in interdimensional space endangers the lives of
all...Ooops...~
"Wake up, damn it!!!" Old Mihoshi screamed as she shook her future
self. Mihoshi bleakly opened her eyes. "Huh...what's that burning pain
in my back?" Mihoshi grimaced as Satoshi helped pick her up off the
pavement. She tenderly touched her back to reveal that she was
bleeding. Not life endangering bleeding, just excessive bleeding,
really. Satoshi helped Mihoshi as she looked around. "What did this?"
Mihoshi asked as she noted that most people were in frenzy, trying to
get out of the area as fast as possible. Satoshi pointed to a monster,
about 9 feet tall. It was a woman, wearing a skimpy black outfit and
was holding a bunch of flaming knives.
Mihoshi took a stance and pulled a pen out of her outfit. She held it
high into the air and screamed, "Darkness power...Make-UP!!" Old
Mihoshi just gave Sailor Darkness a weird look when she was done with
her transformation. "What? It's what I do..." Darkness said with a
grin and a toss of her hair. "Now, I'm off to waste
that...er...thingy." Darkness marched off confidently to the monster.
She poked it in the back. "Hey, you!!!" she screamed. The monster
turned around and gave her a cold look. "My name is Teniko...you don't
have very good manners, do you? Well, I'll teach you and you'll be
sorry for being so RUDE!!" Teniko yelled in a VERY annoying voice.
Teniko grabbed a bunch of flaming knives and threw it at Darkness. She
evaded them easily. "You wanna play? I'll show you how..." Darkness
concentrated a high amount of energy in her hands. "Darkness
rising...death blast!" A crimson orb of energy slammed into Teniko.
But she just brushed it off. Darkness, however, was unable to do
anything, as she was weak from the withdrawal of energy. Teniko took
advantage of this and tossed a flaming knife at her. Darkness was hit
and fell to the floor in pain. Teniko was just about to attack again,
when a rock went flying into the monsters head. Teniko turned around
to see Satoshi standing indignantly. "Hey! You.... er.... thing! Let
go of my girl!" Teniko produced another ton of flaming knives, and
threw them at him. But Darkness, seeing Teniko's attack, jumped right
in front of it. She slammed into the asphalt, and a cloud of dust
engulfed her body. "Mihoshi!" Satoshi yelled as he went running to her
side. Old Mihoshi too ran to her side. "Oh my god...." Old Mihoshi
gasped as she saw Darkness. Her face was scraped up; she was bleeding
severely and seemed to have a broken arm. Satoshi cradled her head in
his arms. "Come on; get up...we need to get you to the hospital,"
Satoshi gently coaxed as he tried to get her up. She gently waved him
away, and said, "You know, I came here to save your life...and I
succeeded." She took a deep breath, and continued. "It doesn't matter
what happens to me. I'll still live, remember? Even if I die, the old
me here..." She waved to Old Mihoshi. "Will never have to come back
here and she won't die. Understand?" Old Mihoshi nodded as she came to
a close. So did Satoshi. "Just take the time key out of my pocket, and
leave. Get help." Mihoshi finished as her hand, which she was holding
up in the air, fell limply to her side. Satoshi took her pulse
angrily. He narrowed his eyes as he pressed her neck, trying to get
something. Nothing. He looked angrily at the monster. "I think," he
whispered to his partner, "that we had better honor her request and go
get help." She nodded in response, but then paused. "How do we use the
time key, anyways?" she asked, pulling the time key out of Darkness'
pocket. Satoshi took the time key out of her hand and said, "I don't
think we have to say anything. You take her body and hide. I'm going
to get help." Mihoshi objected, but he insisted, and finally, she gave
in. "I'll be back really soon!" he yelled as he ran towards the
forest.
Satoshi arrived at the dock. He grasped the key in his hand, and
looked around. "Hmm...well, what do I do now?" he asked himself. He
just guessed. Thrusting the key up to the sky, he yelled. "Time key,
take me to the year 2001, Thursday, December 22!" It didn't work. He
tapped the key with his finger. "Pleeease," he moaned, trying
desperately to get it to work. Mihoshi's ghost appeared behind him,
and clasped him on the shoulder. He was very startled, and yelled.
"Hey...quite down...." she cooed. He turned around and looked at her.
"Mihoshi? I thought you were dead," Satoshi commented, circling her.
Finally, he got the point and said, "OH! You're a ghost...cool!" She
stood indignantly. "Yeah, that's why I'm transparent..." She shook her
head. "Anyway, I'm here to tell you how to use the time key. I'll go
back with you, OK?" Satoshi nodded, then asked, "Well, how do I get
back?" "You just point the key up to the sky, and yell, "Guardian of
Time, Let the Door of Time split the Heavens and open to me . . .
I call you by your true name. The all knowing God of Time, the Father
of the
Guardian . . . Chronos! Lead me! Protect me! Send me the path of
light!!" As she said this, she held his hand with the time key in it
up to the sky. Suddenly, the water glowed a pinkish color and wind
rustled the leaves. They were lifted up into the air, and then they
were gone in a spiral of golden light.
Moments later, they were fluttering to the ground. Once they touched
the moist grass, Mihoshi whispered, "I leave you here. Ja ne!" She
gave him a small kiss on the cheek and just disappeared. Satoshi
frowned. "Well...I'm not sure where to get help from..." He sat down
on the ground and thought for a while. Finally, he decided to go to
Kasumi's, for even if she couldn't help; it would be the best
solution. He stood up and began to walk towards 1743 Mitsuki Lane. As
he looked up at the towering trees and blackened forest road ahead of
him, he realized that he's never been this alone in his life. However,
it didn't scare him; it instead inspired him. Satoshi began running as
fast as he could so he could help everyone. Eventually, he arrived at
Kasumi's home and knocked expectantly at the door. Mina-San answered
it. "Yes? How may I help...?" Mina-San stopped as she faltered. After
all, Satoshi was supposed to be dead. Mina-San screamed and shut the
door in frenzy. Satoshi frowned. He had forgotten that he was dead.
Kasumi ran downstairs when she heard her mother scream. "What is it,
Mom?" Kasumi asked. Mina-San was holding her hand over her heart and
was scared. "Its...Its..." She took a deep breath as she tried to
explain again. "Satoshi's at the door." Kasumi gave her mother a
skeptical look. "Yeah...sure he is.... Now come with me, and I'll open
the door and prove you wrong." Kasumi opened the door confidently and
then yelled when she saw Satoshi. Satoshi grabbed her and shook her.
"Look! Stop panicking! OK? I'm not dead!! Let me explain!" Mina-San
and Kasumi finally regained their calmness and invited him in for some
cookies.
"So lemme get this straight. My daughter and her best friends are
sailor senshi. And Mihoshi went back to the past to save you but got
killed instead? Just to make it short, anyways," Mina-San said,
sipping on her tea. Satoshi nodded. Kasumi buried her head and cried.
"Mihoshi's dead.... I can't believe it..." she sobbed. Satoshi
reminded her. "Don't forget that she's only dead here and not in the
past so that she won't be dead if you and the other senshi go back to
the past and save her so that none of this would happen." Kasumi wiped
her eyes and mumbled, "I don't understand a thing you just said, but
I'll trust you." Mina-San smiled. "I'm so proud of you, Kasumi-Chan! I
had no clue you were a senshi...I'll have to tell..." She was cut off
when Kasumi placed a finger over Mina's lips. "You won't tell ANYONE,
you hear? Don't!" Satoshi nodded and said, "You can't tell." Mina
shrugged. "Ok, Ok...I won't...." "Well, first things first; we have to
get all of the senshi together and go back to the past to save
Mihoshi," Satoshi said. Kasumi nodded and they both ran out the door.
They ran to Rei's temple. As they ran through the halls, everything
seemed quieter and darker than before. Finally, the arrived in Rei's
doorway. A study buddies session was being held. Everyone was shocked
when they burst in, especially because of the "Satoshi is dead!"
thing. Finally, things cooled down, and Kasumi and Satoshi explained
everything. As they drew to a close, Ami frowned. "I'll look up
whatever caused that monster right away. As soon as we can figure that
out, we should be able to help Mihoshi." She took out her little blue
pocket computer and started typing feverishly. After about 5 minutes,
she explained. "I don't know how, but that monster was caused by a
tear in interdimensional space. The only way to solve it is to put all
people or things back to their original time." Everyone nodded. "Well,
what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Mako said, standing up determined.
"Right!" everyone said in unison. They all got up, put on shoes, and
began walking out of the town and towards the forest.
Satoshi took the time key out of his pocket and everyone huddled
around him eagerly. He held up the key and chanted the poem again.
Then, they were gone. As they spiraled through space, everyone except
for Satoshi, Rei and Makoto were screaming. After all, it was a pretty
odd experience, and you have to be brave not to be shaken by it.
Eventually, they felt their shoes press against soft ground. Satoshi
crammed the key back into his pocket. They walked quickly through the
forest and finally arrived at the spot where Darkness had slowly died.
The screams of people being terrorized were heard, even though they
were confident the monster had left. "Come on, we better transform if
were going to beat the shit out of that thing," Naoko mumbled.
"Jupiter..." "Venus..." "Mars..." "Mercury..." Mako, Venus, Rei, and
Ami chanted. Then, they raised their pens to the sky and screamed,
"Crystal Power...Make-UP!"
Flashes of light burst open from their pens. They all quickly finished
their transformation sequences and then were waiting for the others.
Naoko and Kasumi smiled. They too raised their pens to the sky and
yelled, "Destiny..." "Light..." "Power, Make-UP!" Soon they too were
dressed in their sailor fukus. Finally, it was Usagi's turn. She
looked up at the sky, and said, "Moon Eternal, Make-UP!" Her sequence
was the longest and most beautiful. Eternal Sailor Moon stood along
with the 6 others: Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor
Venus, Sailor Destiny, and Sailor Light. Of course, on the sidelines
was one very stunned boy. They all marched into battle, following
Satoshi. Satoshi followed the pattern of yells. Finally, they saw the
back of a tall, skimpily dressed monster. The monster, Teniko, turned
around and asked, "Who are you?" Eternal Moon smiled, and said, "I was
waiting for that! For love and justice, a pretty soldier in a sailor
suit. Eternal Sailor Moon! And in the name of the moon, I will punish
you!" Teniko rolled her eyes and pointed a knife at Sailor Moon.
"Mmhm, and you really stand a chance against me?" She hurled the knife
at Sailor Moon, but she just jumped out of the way. Sailor Destiny
took this opportunity. She swirled her hand, and a glaive appeared.
Destiny pointed it at Teniko and yelled, "Dark Fate Reveal!" Glass
shards flew at Teniko. Several penetrated the monsters thick, red
skin, but she just swatted away most of them. Teniko pried some of the
glass shards out of her, and then turned her black, lifeless eyes up
on Destiny. "I'm going to get you for that," she hissed. As she did
so, however, she didn't notice Sailor Jupiter behind her, preparing
for an attack. "Jupiter Oak...Evolution!" The razor leaves went
soaring through the air and slicing at Teniko. It was about as useful
as Dark Fate Reveal, but the youma was becoming weaker every attack.
They saw this, and took advantage of it. Sailor Mercury distracted
Teniko as Sailor Mars used her "Mars Flame Sniper!" Then, Sailor Mars
acted as a diversion as Sailor Mercury used her "Mercury Aqua
Rhapsody!" Then, Sailor Jupiter acted as a distraction while Sailor
Venus used her "Venus Love and Beauty Shock!" Sailor Venus then acted
as a distraction while Sailor Light powered up for her attack,
"Burning Solar Flash!" But while Venus was distracting Teniko, she got
hit in the leg with a flaming knife. Sailor Destiny ran over to help
Venus stop the bleeding.
Satoshi, however, couldn't do much more than stand back and watch.
Finally, he couldn't stand...well, just standing there any longer and
looked around for a weapon. Near a police officers dead body (eww,
eww) he found a gun. He picked it up and looked inside the bullet
holding thingy. There were just a few bullets left. He took careful
aim, and shot. The monster turned around and started to walk towards
him. He aimed and fired again. And again. And again. But Teniko
ignored every bullet and just walked towards him. Oddly enough, he
began walking towards her, too. As soon as Teniko was within reach, he
pointed a finger to her chest. "You know what? I'm REALLY sick of
seeing you walk around in your fucking slutty outfit with your little
flaming knives.... And I'm tired of seeing you hurt innocent people!
What did they ever do to you?" He pretended to think for a second,
before remarking sarcastically, "OH yeah! That's right! They didn't
bow down to your feet just because you look like a prostitute! Now get
out of my sight or...well, you don't wanna know!" He then continued.
But the Senshi just stared because it was just such a funny sight! A
small, nice looking boy yelling at a giant, menacing, monster that was
at least 2 and a half feet bigger than him. Teniko just backed up
every so often as Satoshi took another step toward her. Eternal Sailor
Moon saw this as an opportunity to attack. She pulled out her Eternal
Tier, and yelled "Silver Moon Power Kiss!" Teniko screamed and in a
flash of feathers and golden light, she was gone.
Satoshi looked at his feet to see a pile of ashes. He kicked it.
Everyone was de-transforming around him. When she was done, Kasumi ran
over to Satoshi and gave him a big hug. "Without you, Eternal Sailor
Moon wouldn't have been able to beat that monster. Thanks!" Kasumi
gave a nice, big grin. Ami, however, pulled out her pocket computer
and started typing. "Well, now that that ordeal is over," Ami said,
"we should correct the tear in interdimensional space." They all
nodded, and then they started walking to Mihoshi's house. As soon as
they arrived, Mihoshi burst out of the house and hugged Satoshi. "Did
you guys destroy that horrible thing?" she asked eagerly. "Eternal
Sailor Moon did," Satoshi replied as he hugged her back. Then Mihoshi
went up and hugged Usagi. "Thanks a ton, Usagi," she said. "You're
welcome." Usagi smiled. Then Mihoshi directed them to the bed she
placed Darkness on. She was so pale, and her short black hair was all
messed up. Everyone was silent. Satoshi, however, just went right up
to her and picked her up in his arms. He then gave her a small kiss
and said, "Thank you." Naoko bugged out. "How could you touch a dead
body?" she asked, grimacing at the thought. He just ignored her began
walking down the stairs. Everyone followed him, solemnly and silently
like a funeral procession.
They arrived silently at the forest. Satoshi handed Darkness' body
over to Mako, who held her very gently. Satoshi handed the time key
over to Rei. She held it high into the air. "Arigatoo," Satoshi and
Mihoshi said. Rei, Mako, Ami, Minako, Usagi, Nicole, and Kasumi
smiled. Rei chanted the magic poem again, and one last time they
passed through the time gates.
