It wasn't just Fiore's imagination. Time had definitely slowed down to a halt. On the floor, he watched in numb shock as the sword stopped, inches away from Mamoru's heart. Everything was moving in agonizing slowness. Shikyuu was looking up in confusion. Fiore blinked, trying to clear his eyes from the after effect of a garnet colored flash.

Shikyuu was moving again, trying to look around. Fiore grabbed his sword as he stood. He had gotten fully upright when he heard the voice. The calm female voice stood out against the slowing. “Under the Time Space Star, Pluto. I am the Guardian of Time, Sailor Pluto.“ The voice trailed off for a second before continuing. “And you must be Fiore.” The sword in his hand disappeared when he heard the voice.

Fiore turned to see what Shikyuu was staring at. He wanted to know why the Dark Prince seemed paler than normal. What he saw was rather anticlimactic. There was just one woman. She wore a black Sailor Fuku. In one hand, she held a staff that looked like a key. He finally got what he was really thought out. “Another one? Just how many of you are there?”

Shikyuu found his tongue as well. He knew of this woman. She was supposed to be a legend. He had never really believe that there was truly someone as old as time itself. He hid his astonishment rather well. “You have no business here, Daughter of Chronos. This is my realm.” Shikyuu started to glow blackish with energy.

Fiore just stood, looking confused. Shikyuu was afraid. He could tell. But why was he so scared of a Sailor Scout? It was nonsense. Fiore was sure he could take the woman with no problems. She just shook her head and sighed, talking to Shikyuu as if she was talking to a small child. “You're wrong. My duty is not only to guard the Door. It extends to guarding those I love.” She smiled at Mamoru's unconscious form.

Fiore stood up taller. “If you love Mamoru, take him away with you right now.” He ordered. The woman looked at him, not the least bit surprised. She walked over to him, making no sound at all. He was unnerved by the scrutinizing look she gave him. It was as if the woman was appraising him, trying to decide if he was worthy. For some reason, Fiore wanted to live up to her standards, whatever they were.

The woman seemed to speak both to him and the Dark Prince. “I'm taking both of them back with me.” Then she smiled at Mamoru again, as if they shared some joke. “Those four wouldn't leave me be other wise.”

Shikyuu was livid. He didn't seem to care weather or not this woman was the one of legend. All he cared was she was trying to stop him from having his revenge on Mamoru. She was also trying to take away Fiore. He was pleasantly surprised when Fiore was the one who protested. The alien was honor bound to do so. “I can't go. I promised I'd stay. If I go, I'll have lied.”

Sailor Pluto was shocked for probably the first time on her life. She had assumed the aqua haired alien would have jumped at the idea of leaving. She was almost relieved by his sense of honor. Mamoru really had chosen well when he had fallen for this man. She graced Fiore with one of her rare smiles, regaining some of her composure.

Shikyuu jumped at the opportunity. While Pluto was still mentally off balance, he had coved the distance between himself and the alien. Staring over Fiore's head, he gave Pluto a smug smirk. “As you can well see, ageless one, this boy is mine. He made a deal. In that bargain, both lives are mine to do with as I please. Now, go away before I'm forced to remove you.”

Pluto ignored the warning. “You are as much of a monster as he is.” She indicated Shikyuu, tears in her garnet eyes. “You were just playing with him the entire time weren't you? You never loved him. In the end, you were just planning to break his heart.”

“That's a lie! I love Mamoru! I'd do anything for him.” Fiore protested. He couldn't believe this woman had the nerve to suggest that he didn't love Momaru. “I would beg, cheat, steal, and yes, even lie for this man.” He saw Pluto smile. She had gotten the reaction she wanted.

“I'm glad.” Pluto said, almost sadly. “Thank the old men when you see them and take good care of him. ” She started opening a gate to Crystal Tokyo.

“What old men?” Fiore asked, picking the King up. It looked like a scene from long ago. Only this time, Fiore wasn't possessed. He wasn't taking Mamoru away from those he cared for. Because the one he cared for was holding him.

Pluto just smiled and answered, cryptically. “You'll see soon enough.” Then she turned away from Fiore's retreating figure. Fiore could hear the calm voice tell Shikyuu that this time there was going to be no exile. The Scout was going to establish peace once more. He wanted to turn and watch, but the door had already closed behind him. He only caught a bright garnet flash of light that left him temporarily blinded.
