Author's Notes: The story now moves on past where Finding Destiny left off. Soon it will start to cover the rest of the Sailor Moon series but not in a whole lot of great detail.

Rose, Eros and I returned to Olympus, to our own world in hopes that everything would work out well with the senshi, the generals and their fight to keep their solar system safe. However, that was not the case. It was barely two months into Earth's time when Serena summoned us back. Rose had been unable to come because she had other matters to deal with so I arrived in the park where Serena was sitting, waiting for me.
Serena smiled a greeting at me as I stepped from the Gates and I nodded back. I waved my staff and the Gates of Time disappeared and then I shifted down into my civilian form, wearing a light blue sundress that went down to my knees and matching sandals.
I walked over to her and sat down, watching her fidget on the bench for a long time before I spoke. “I know that words never usually fail you. So why don't you just come straight to the point and tell me what is bothering you?”
Serena smiled a little before she sighed softly. “The generals are having a lot of problems adjusting to their new lives, although Nephlite and Jadeite seem to be having a slightly easier time.”
I nodded slightly. “I had a feeling that was what was happening down here. I could sense a lot of unrest in the girls and unhappiness with the guys.” I looked at Serena, meeting her worried blue eyes. “We knew that it would not be easy for them to adjust to this life. They have been used to using magic, dark magic, to get whatever they want and here they can't use any magic without drawing unneeded attention to themselves and to you.”
Serena nodded and bounced up, unable to sit still any longer. I followed her as she walked aimlessly through the park. “They know this but I think it is just becoming too hard for them. Zoicite blew up part of Raye's temple yesterday and now he and Jadeite aren't talking to each other. It is putting a strain on my scouts too. Malachite nearly killed someone last week for making a comment about Mina. Darien had to tell the guy that Malachite was a little unstable and was just put on new medication to get the guy not to press charges.”
I sighed softly and nodded, drawing my hands behind me and holding them as she played with one of her long golden pigtails. “So what is it that you want me to do?”
Serena blushed and suddenly stopped to look at me. “To be honest, I don't know, Angel. I was just hoping that you can… you know… make things better.”
I couldn't help the soft laugh as I looked at her. “Serena, I am a Guardian senshi with a staff that produces the elements. I am not a witch with a magic wand. I cannot do everything, even if I would like to.”
She blushed and looked away from me, looking ashamed. “I'm sorry, Angel. I know that you can't do everything. I was just hoping that you would be able to help.”
I smiled softly and gently put my hand on her arm, making her look back at me. “I may not be able to do everything, but let me go back and talk to Trista and Rose. We'll see if we can come up with something that will be helpful to all of you.”
Serena suddenly threw her arms around me, hugging me tightly making me giggle and hug her in return. She waved me off and before I saw the Gates even closing behind me I could see her running off to find Darien to tell him that we were willing to help.
We did come up with a plan after long hours of discussing. Trista told us, although Rose really didn't need to be told, about a time in the future when magic use would be considered normal again. It was called Crystal Tokyo. We decided that we could move the generals from this time period that they were in and have Trista take them to the future, since she was the only one of us that had that power.
When Rose and I went back to Earth and discussed the plan with everyone, we carefully avoided telling them who would be ruling Crystal Tokyo or any other major details, just simply stating that the senshi would be able to reunite with their generals then, when it would be much easier for them to adapt. The generals were all for the idea, agreeing almost at once to it. However, we did have a problem with the scouts agreeing, since they were the ones that were going to be left behind, spending long years waiting to be reunited, pinning for their loves.
For a long time I sat silently listening to the generals pleading with the girls to understand that this would be the best solution and that they may be separated for some time but it would not be forever, while the girls argued back that they would not be the ones having to do that waiting. Finally I cleared my throat softly and Rose looked over at me for a moment before she pulled out her staff and caused the book on the table in the middle of the room to bang loudly. When everyone went silent and looked at her, she calmly spoke, “I believe that Angel has a plan for that as well if you would all quit arguing and listen to her.”
When all eyes finally turned to me I spoke quietly. “We have the ability to block memories. The generals are right, this would be the best for them, but the senshi are also right, this is not fair to them. Therefore I think perhaps we should block the senshi's memories of what happened.” I looked at each of the girls, even Serena, who was for once sitting quietly and listening. “You would still feel a small ache but you wouldn't know what that ache would be for. We can replace the memories with something else, that Luna,” I paused and looked at her, “can revive in case you are needed as the sailor scouts once more.”
Rose took up when I stopped. “You would not remember us, and we will not be coming back here unless it is very important, since seeing us is most likely enough to make you recall everything that happened.”
Serena looked at the shocked, but thoughtful looks on the girls' faces and sighed softly. “It would be easier on all of us if we could not remember, but it is a lot to make us forget.” She looked over at everyone. “I will let each of you decide what you want to do. I don't want to make this kind of decision for you.”
We gave them all twenty-four hours to think about it and then come tell us what their decision was before we left Raye's temple and returned to Darien's apartment, where he was going to let us stay for the night.
The night was warm and so I moved outside to watch the stars as I had taken to doing any time that I could, although I am not really sure why. I was not out there alone for long. I heard the door open and I knew without turning around that Mina had stepped out onto the balcony with me. She quietly moved up next to me and leaned against the rail, looking up at the stars as well for a long time before she finally asked me, “Have you ever been in love, Angel?”
I closed my eyes and called up the image of midnight blue eyes and sighed softly. “Yes, I have. I am.”
Mina blinked in surprise and looked at me. “You are with someone right now? Who? Is he immortal too?”
I laughed softly, a little amazed at the speed in which Mina had jumped onto that. “That is a little difficult to answer,” I finally said.
She looked at me curiously. “That would sound very odd coming from anyone other than you.”
I smiled softly and looked back up at the stars. “Well I am sure that it will still sound odd for you. My heart belongs to someone that I met while I was dead, while my body was in the astral planes.” I could almost feel the way she blinked slowly, so I answered softly. “Hades stopped me from dying, Mina. He showed me my true love, a gorgeous man with the most stunning pair of midnight blue eyes. He was very sweet and protective. He was like the answering of my soul.” I looked at her again, finding her watching me with rapt attention. “But I do not know his name, or where he is from, or anything else about him. I am not even allowed to go looking for him. I have to wait for the Fates to bring him to me.”
Mina looked at me for a long moment and then sighed. “That is really sad, Angel. Is that why you offered to take away our memories? So that we wouldn't feel the pain and ache that you do right now?”
I nodded my head slowly, returning to looking up at the stars. “Pain of separation is almost unbearable sometimes in the dark of the night when there is no one there to hold you and to tell you that everything will turn out alright in the end. Each day though can either make you stronger or weaker, depending on how the day goes.” I sighed softly and closed my eyes. “The Fates are cruel, Mina. I merely want to help shield all of you, guide you down a less painful path.”
Her eyes never left me; I could still feel her gaze even if I did not return it. “Loosing Mal would be painful, but at least I know I will find him again. I don't want to loose my memories of him forever.”
I finally turned to look at her. “You won't loose them forever, Mina. I can promise you that. You will remember him in your dreams and in your heart even if your mind does not remember him until the right time comes.”
She looked at me for a long moment and then spoke quietly, finally voicing what else had been bothering her. “I would be loosing you too. You saved my life more than once and I love you like a big sister, but I would be loosing you if I lost my memories of you again.”
I smiled softly and turned to her, gently taking her face into my hands and looking down into her young face. “No, Mina, you won't be. I am your guardian angel. I will be there when you need me. Remember I am never far away, even if you cannot see me.”
Tears entered Mina's eyes as she heard the words that I had spoken to her twice before to her, words that she could remember in hearing in her dreams. I brought her into my arms and held her as she cried, gently soothing her hair, wishing that I could make all of this easier on her and the other scouts.
The next day everyone had gathered again at the temple and not to my surprise they had all agreed to it. There was a long tearful goodbye before Sailor Pluto took the generals through the Gates of Time and then Rose and I erased the memories, sending everyone back to before they met so that they could all meet again and live again, this time being free of the hurt and pain. The only ones who remembered us and what happened were Luna and Artemis, told under strict orders that if the time came only Serena would be told the real truth about what happened.
The others, well they would be told of how they all met and how Darien and Serena were really Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity of a time long ago, and how they had protected her. They would be told that they had died in their final victory over Beryl, and Serenity had wished them all a life to start over in. There would be no mention of us, or any mention of the generals turning good, or any hint at what their past in the Silver Millennium had held. It was painful for Rose and I to do, and Luna and Artemis had not wanted to agree, but in the end, they saw that it was better that way. They also knew that if we were needed Serena could call for us and we would come.
