I wish I could say that it was a long time before Serena had called us back to the Earth. In fact I would much rather say that it had been a long time before Sailor Moon had to fight again, but it wasn't the case in either part. To Serena's credit though, she did not call upon me even after she realized that the other Senshi did not know who she was. Instead she decided to try to get them all together and jar their memories that way. In a way that had worked, but it was only because of the sudden appearance of two new enemies and their cardians.

It was when Serena realized that Darien did not remember who she was that she called me. She was crying in her room when I arrived. I did not bother to change out of my senshi form because I knew that it would be too dangerous for Serena and me to walk anywhere, especially if we did not want to be accidentally seen by any of the senshi. I also knew that if an attack happened, I would not be able to fade into the background; I would have to stand by and fight it by Sailor Moon's side. It was sure to draw too many questions.

I sighed softly and glanced at Luna, who was sitting on the bed watching her mistress, and then slowly crossed the room and laid a hand on Serena's shoulder. She jumped, clearly not have noticed that I arrived. As she whirled around to stare at me with big blue eyes, I smiled a comforting smile at her. “Easy, Princess, it is just me.”

She stared at me for a moment and then threw her arms around me and started sobbing against my chest, making me blink slowly before I wrapped my arms around her and gently soothed her back. Her words were unintelligent and not understandable against the soft folds of my blue bow but I already knew why she was hurting. I could feel it in her soul.

When Serena had finally stopped the pitiful wailing I gently tipped her face up and wiped it free of the tears, smiling kindly down at her. “Do you feel a little better now?”

She sniffled and I worried that she was about to start crying again, but instead she turned away from me and back to the window, mumbling, “No.”

I sighed softly and moved to sit on one of her chairs, carefully moving my wings around the edges of it so they wouldn't be smashed. “Do you want to tell me about it?” I asked softly, although I was sure she knew she didn't need to.

She turned to look at me for a long moment before she flopped down on the ground with a most ungraceful move, making my mouth twitch just a little. It would seem the little princess was more like the Serena that had been first given her powers than the warrior that had lost her memories. To be honest, I think I liked it better this way, even if she was in a lot of pain. “You already know,” she mumbled, confirming my belief.

I nodded my head as I watched her quietly. “Yes, I do, but it might help if you talk about it. All your crying is going to do is give you and everyone else around you a headache.” I grinned when a small smile moved across her pretty face.

Finally she sighed and pulled out the locket that she had given to Endymion back on the moon, and had later been given it back by Tuxedo Mask. “Why doesn't he remember, Angel?”

Shifting my wings a little, I looked into her eyes for a moment. “You knew that he would not remember, Serena. It had been part of the deal when we sent the Generals to the future.” I held up a hand when she started to interrupt me. “I realize that he does not even remember what the scouts do, but I cannot explain that part. Perhaps it is just not his time to remember, Serena.”

Serena's eyes filled up with giant tears but much to my relief she didn't start crying, merely sniffled once and slipped her locket into her pocket. “It just isn't fair,” she whined a little.

I smiled softly and nodded my head, rising slowly so that I could squat before her. “I know it isn't, but you have to use a little patience. He is not lost to you forever. The love that the two of you share is too strong for you to be apart for the rest of your lives. Allow him to remember on his own.”

Serena's eyes lit up and I felt a little wary of whatever was going on inside her brain but she smiled brightly at me and hugged me quickly. “Thank you, Angel.” Her voice dropped to a whisper. “You better go, I hear Sammy coming up.”

I nodding, dropping a quick kiss on Serena's head, petted Luna's and then called forth the Gates, moving through them and disappearing just before her little brother burst into the room on her. I sighed softly, frowning just a little as I looked at Rose. I knew she wasn't happy with me. There was something going on within the other worlds, something that had all of the other Guardians very tense, but I just couldn't leave Serena to fend for herself when I could offer her a little comfort.

She finally sighed and shook her head. “Alright, I understand why you went. Now let's focus on what's going on with Chesna's planets.”

I nodded and we quickly moved to where we knew we would find Chesna. She was pacing back and forth before her brother, her face pulled in a frown as he silently watched her with his eyes. She looked up as soon as she saw us and gave a small smile. “Hey...” she greeted quietly.

I sighed softly, sadly. “Things didn't go well with Hera I take it?” She shook her head and I moved over to her and hugged her close. “I'm sorry I wasn't there to go with you to see her. Serena summoned me and I had to go.”

Chesna gave me a weak, but understanding smile. “I know, Rose told me that there was a new enemy showing up there. How is the little Moon Princess?”

I smiled and shrugged. “She's upset because Endymion has not regained any sort of memory of her. As for what is going on there, it isn't anything that I do not have the faith for her to be able to handle without our assistance. Serena is incredibly strong; she just needs to see that for herself. Anyways this isn't near as important as what is going on with your planet. What did Hera say?”

When she didn't answer right away, Vega cleared his throat and answered for his twin. “Hera said that this is a Sailor War and as such we cannot get involved. It does not matter much though what she had to say, even if she had agreed to let Ches help, we would have had to deal with Rosely.”

I frowned deeply, crossing my arms over my chest. To my surprise, Rose spoke the thought that had been going through my head. “Rosely should be getting her senshi in line and not letting her conquer other worlds, destroying everything in sight.”

He sighed and shrugged a shoulder, rising and putting a gentle hand on his sister's shoulder when she continued to look out into space. “You know that none of you would want to destroy your own senshi if you were in her place.”

She narrowed her black eyes at him, her mouth thinning. “None of our senshi are trying to kill innocent people. Ours know what their roles are and live up to the code of being a senshi.”

I slipped between Rose and Vega when he had started to come back at her, holding up my hands to hush both of them. “It does not really matter what we think. Rosely is the leader here and she will do whatever it is that she wants to,” I shot Rose a look when she muttered under her breath. “We shouldn't be arguing right now. We should be trying to figure out a way around all of this so we can help out Chesna and her four senshi.”

Chesna looked up at me. Her blue eyes were full of such pain that I couldn't help but gather the smaller woman into my arms and hug her tightly. “They won't live, Angel,” she whispered. “I know it. I may not have the powers of death but I can feel theirs just as if it were my own life.”

I shot a quick glance at Rose, who refused to look at me. I narrowed my eyes at her and spoke silently. `You know not looking at me doesn't work. Will they die?'

Rose slowly turned her black eyes to mine. She didn't answer me mentally or verbally, but her eyes told me all that I needed to know. I sighed and closed mine, gently running my fingers along the top of Chesna's braid, thinking hard. I slowly looked up at Vega, finding him watching me. I moved away from Chesna, now doing my turn at pacing. Finally I looked at Vega again. “Where is Rosely?”

“She's in the training room,” Vega answered softly, crossing his arms over his chest again. “She told me that she wanted to do some training by herself and did not want to be disturbed.”

I nodded my head slowly. “And where are Brenna and Osmound?”

Chesna answered quietly this time. “He took her to one of their planets. There was a festival going on. He didn't want her here to watch me like this.”

I nodded my understanding. “She's already so sensitive to things around her. It is better that they aren't here anyways. They won't have to face Rosely's wrath.”

“Rosely's wrath?” she repeated softly and then her eyes went wide. “Angel, you can't!” She grabbed onto my hands and pleaded desperately up at me. “Hera said that we weren't allowed to get involved.”

Quirking an eyebrow slowly as an impish smile crossed my face, I spoke softly to her. “No, Hera told you that you couldn't get involved. She said no such thing to me. In fact I was not even here when she said that judgment. I was on Earth; therefore it is not possible for me to know what exactly she has said on the subject.”

Vega slowly smirked and shook his head. “You are getting rebellious in your renewed life, Angel.”

I shrugged a shoulder. “I didn't come back from the dead just to sit back and watch everything going on around me. Hades said I had work to do, so work is what I will do. I'm going to go get those senshi and bring them back. None of the three of you can come with me though. I don't want anyone to get into trouble with either Rosely or Hera. All of you can deny knowing what I was about to do if I get caught.”

Rose frowned at me, although she knew that my mind was made up. “If you bring them here you are sure to get caught. I don't like the idea of you going alone either, Angel. It is dangerous.”

I just looked at her. “Our whole lives have been dangerous, Rose. I am not going to turn away just because I might get some of this blonde hair singed. I don't know where else to take them. Perhaps Hades will allow me to hide them in the Underworld until Chesna and I can figure out where we can hide them.”

“Why do you not take them to Elysian?” a new voice spoke.

We all turned to see Sailor Pluto emerging from the shadows and entering the room fully. “Elysian?” Chesna asked softly. “I thought that place was destroyed with the fall of the Silver Millennium.”

Trista shook her head as she met my eyes briefly before she looked at Chesna. “No, it was not, but it can only be accessed by those who were born on Earth, and allowed by Helios, its guardian.”

Her mouth formed a round `o', obviously surprised at the latest turn of events. I guess she did not realize that where we had allowed the fall of the kingdom, we had done quite a few things so that it would not be lost forever.

I looked at Trista as her eyes turned to mine again. “Will Helios allow me there with the four senshi? I have not seen him in a very long time, but I cannot be sure that he would take kindly to this.”

She shrugged a shoulder. “There is only one way to find out. We will have to ask him when we get there. If he says no, then we will take them to Hades. Of course if Helios does allow them, they will loose all memory of their lives before. Elysian must hold on to its secrets after all.”

My eyebrows went up and I crossed my arms under my chest, hearing and feeling the slight flutter of my wings as they just barely brushed against Vega when he moved closer. “We? Do I take that to mean that you intend to come with me?”

She merely smiled slightly. “As if I would let you go alone. I will not face the wrath of either Hera or Rosely. My loyalties now lie with the Moon Princess. Since she has not told me that I cannot help you, I see no reason why I should not.”

Not one of us bothered to point out that Trista had not even seen the Moon Princess since their memories had been taken away therefore she could not really tell her that she could not go help me. Instead I shook my head and glanced at Rose, nodding silently to watch after Chesna until I returned. Then I turned and looked at the Guardian of Peace. “I will return with good news, Ches. I'm not going to let you down on this. I promise.”

Chesna nodded her head, putting a hand to her mouth as if she were a little too chocked up to speak. She glanced at her brother and then started to turn and walk away.

“Ches,” I said, stopping her, “it would help if you could tell us exactly where they were. It would take less time and be a lot safer.”

She nodded, silently moving towards me. I already knew what she was going to do when she lifted up both hands and placed them on my temples. I closed my eyes and allowed the vision of what was happening into my mind, shivering a little. Visions were one of Chesna's gifts. She could receive them or give them. As soon as she had filled my mind with what I needed to know she backed off, allowing Vega to support me as I righted my mind to remember what she'd showed me and what I was supposed to do.

I shook my head a little to clear it. Chesna was gentle by nature but visions were never easy. Finally I opened my eyes and moved away from Vega to follow Trista to the door. He caught my hand though and I turned to look at him in question.

“Don't get yourself killed, Angel,” he said softly, his black eyes looking into mine.

I smiled and gently squeezed his hand. “I don't plan on it. I already have one debt that I must fill with Hades. I don't want another.” With that I turned and finally succeeded in following Trista out.

It had been rather easy getting to Pacatus. (1) Trista had been able to get us relatively close to where Chesna had shown me where we could find her Quartet. There was devastation all around us, as well as extremely hot. The planet was about to blow up. I took a quick glance at Trista and pulled my staff out before jumping from one rock to another. I knew I could fly over all of this, since Eros had taught me how to use my wings, but I did not want to leave Trista behind.

So we slowly hoped from one safe spot to another until we finally found what we were looking for. The golden sailor scout was holding up her two arms, clearly about to deliver the last and final blow.

“Dead Scream,” Sailor Pluto whispered from next to me and the purple energy came from the top of her garnet stone, forming the image of the planet Pluto, to hit the golden senshi, sending her flying back.

We jumped down between her and the four fallen senshi, their outfits torn, bodies broken and bloody, but I knew they would live if we could get them out of there. “Open the Gates and take them through, I'll guard.”

Pluto didn't argue with me. She immediately opened the Gates and grabbed onto Cere Cere's arm as well as one of Jun Jun's and dragged them through the Gates. The golden senshi stood up and glared darkly at me. “Who are you?” she hissed.

I merely glared at her and readied my staff in case she was about to attack me. She didn't leave me waiting. She lifted up her arms and shot two orbs out from the bracelets on her wrists, which I barely had the time to smack both of them away with my staff before she sent out two more. This wasn't going to be easy. I didn't want to attack her, but I didn't want to get my wings singed either. Instead I continued to use my staff to deflect them.

Evidently I was starting to irritate her because she hadn't hit me yet. “Who are you?” she yelled at me.

This time I answered her in a cool voice as I smacked more golden orbs away from me. “Someone who doesn't want to see so many innocent lives destroyed by someone as power hungry as you.” Silently I was urging Pluto to hurry. I wasn't sure how long I could keep this up, as it was I could feel the magical energy starting to gather in Eros, the staff obviously wanting to do more than just defend me. There were times I could swear that it had a life of its own.

My silent plea was answered because just as the heart began to flare brightly on my staff, Pluto appeared behind me and called out as she grabbed onto Palla Palla and Ves Ves. “Let's go. I have these two.”

I nodded and aimed an arrow up and smashed the rocks behind the golden senshi, making her duck for cover, giving us enough time to get into the Gates of Time and close them behind us. Pluto looked at my wing and I sighed, shaking it a little since it was smoking. “That was a lot of fun. Let's get these four to Elysian so Helios can take care of them.”

Pluto nodded silently and picked up the two girls at her feet by their stomachs and holding them close to her under her arms. I did the same with Cere Cere and Jun Jun, thanking the fact that they were still girls and so light. Helios had actually been delighted to take in the four and promised us both that he would fix them up and give them the freedom that they needed to get better until we found a new home for them, all three of us hoping that someone would put a stop to the golden senshi, but none of us said a word about her. We were all just glad that at least four of the lives on Pacatus had been saved.

To be continued...
