"Goku!" A cheerful female voice cried entering the hospital room. Goku looked up from where he was sitting and saw one of his oldest friends entering through the door holding her one-year-old son in her left arm.
"Bulma you made it." Goku acknowledged smiling.
"How's Chi-chi?" Bulma asked this being the reason why they were at the hospital.
"She went into labor almost two hours ago." Krillin replied for his friend. Next to him sat his fiancée, 18.
"And I'm going to have another little brother or sister!" A three-year-old Gohan exclaimed happily.
"How are you feeling?" Krillin questioned Bulma to make conversation. Bulma was expecting her second child and was a week over due.
"I've been feeling great lately." Bulma replied. "At least once I get past my cravings which tend to drive Vegeta crazy."
Everyone had a laugh at this. "Where is Vegeta by the way?" Goku asked seeing that Vegeta was not with the Brief family.
"Oh he would never come to this no matter how much I beg him!" Bulma responded frowning.
A whole hour past before any news was heard. Gohan would play with his younger one-year-old brother Goten and Krillin made sure that they didn't get too wild. Bulma and 18 conversed with each other about things women talk about and Goku sat there nervous the entire time.
"Son-san, you may see your wife and child now." A nurse with fiery red tresses tied neatly into a medium sized bun announced. Goku jumped up feeling a rush of excitement surge through him and charged past the nurse running to Chichi's room.
The only reason he knew it was hers was because when he arrived with Chichi to the hospital the nurse at the front told Goku the number of her assigned room. He soon burst into the room and rushed to Chichi's bedside. "Is it a boy or a girl?!" Goku exclaimed jumping up and down repeatedly.
"Shh." Chichi put her index finger over her mouth and held out her arms. She held a white bundle and a soft breathing could be heard coming from inside it.
"It's a girl."
"Alright Chichi!" Goku said in a whisper.
"What do we name her?" Chichi was quiet for a second. "How about Makoto?"
"Son Makoto." Goku said his new daughter's full name.
"I like it."
"Can I hold her?" Goku asked. "Of course you can. Just don't drop her." Chichi said handing the baby to him.
Goku reached out and carefully held her in his arms. Pushing aside the blanket he looked down at the girl who was still peacefully asleep.
She was rather petite. Golden-brown hair sprouted out from her head not a lot but some. Her mouth suddenly opened slightly, making a yawning sound, her eyes suddenly opened, to reveal bright beautiful emerald green eyes.
Goku was about to say something, when he felt something warm and furry wrap around this arm. He looked down to see a warm chocolate colored tail wrapped around his arm twice.
She wasn't crying and she seemed to be looking at everything around her.
The door burst open in a loud swoosh, everyone entered the room.
Bulma immediately was at Chichi's side, constantly asking if she was all right.
Krillin and Gohan went up to Goku, both floated up to either side of him to see a girl in his arms.
She's beautiful Goku" Krillin murmured, awed.
Goku only nodded, not really noticing the two people floating by his side.
"Is she my new sister dad?" Gohan asked floating in front of him, a questioning look on his face.
Goku lifted his head; his eyes looked at him, smiling he nodded an affirmative.
Gohan's eyes widened to their limits, his mouth fell a gap. Gohan's lips suddenly curved into a smile, as he started to fly around the room in excitement.
Chichi laughed at her son's, sudden mood change.
Krillin suddenly gasped as he noticed the little furry appendage wrapped around Goku's wrist.
"Is that what I think it is?" Krillin asked, shock enveloping him.
Goku smirked, and nodded, "Ya, it's her tail."
Gohan flew up to her sister and placed his face over hers, "Well, Mako. Looks like you're my new sister"
Makoto laughed, and extended her small chubby hands to touch both sides of Gohan's face. Pulling him closer, Makoto hugged him, her tail releasing from Goku's wrist, only to wrap itself around Gohan's waist.

She had to run. She was running because she was late. Her golden brown hair flowing behind her, like a small cape, for she ran out of time to actually do anything with it. She was oblivious to the crisp winter day around her.
Snowflakes were falling gracefully in the chilling breeze. Children were laughing while playing in the park, throwing snowballs at each other, much like when she was a child.
All in all it was a beautiful Saturday morning, yet this young one was running at top speeds not paying it any attention.
Normally she would have found solace in the park on this day. Resting against her favorite cherry tree, watching as the icy snowflakes fall to the ground around her. She would have looked to the lake to find lovers skating around, her imagination running wild, but today she was running. She had a meeting to get to.
Normally, Saturday morning meetings were unheard of, but the Mistress of Time had things to discuss, and no one ever kept her waiting. Shimatte (Shit)! Rei-chan is going to have an absolute fit! Makoto thought scolding herself.
She looked to the small jewel encrusted green watch; the one that doubled as her communicator, to find that she was already five minutes late.
If she kept up this speed it would still take her ten minutes to reach the shrine. She didn't care, though.
She knew of at least one person that would still be later than her. She glanced to her right to see a yellow convertible sitting at the light.
The driver was cursing slightly while the passenger was trying to calm her. She saw that it was none other than Haruka and Michiru. She stopped and called over.
"Hey guys. Can I get a ride?" She asked. Haruka looked over to the voice.
"Makoto is that you? I didn't recognize you with your hair down." She said. Michiru smiled.
"Of course Mako. You're welcome to get a ride." Makoto grinned and jumped into the back. She had not noticed that Hotaru was back there.
"Hi, Taru-chan." Makoto greeted the young scout.
"Hello, Makoto-mama." Hotaru greeted hugging Makoto.
Makoto and Hotaru had become close friends a while back. Haruka thought it would be a good idea to have the Mistress of Silence become the mediator so to say between the inner and outer scouts, mainly because she was closer to there age. To
Makoto's surprise they had asked her to train Hotaru to become stronger and less dependant of her magic. It had been a long and difficult trek for them both, Hotaru had to start from stage one, and Makoto wasn't the most patient person, but eventually Hotaru became stronger, and Makoto learned patience. The girls had become fast friends.
"Why were you running late, Makoto?" Haruka asked.
"I was in the middle of baking when my oven...I don't know...popped I guess. I had to shut the gas off to the oven and in the process became so filthy I had to take another shower. I only saw the time as I was getting dressed."
She looked down to see the green sleeveless turtleneck and black pants she had put on. She didn't have the time to put on socks so she opted for a pair of black slip on shoes.
"That would explain why your hair isn't done." Added Michiru.
Makoto looked to the two older girls in the front seat.
Haruka had her short sandy blond hair brushed back. She wore dark brown slacks and a white button down shirt.
Michiru was in a teal colored dress that seemed to go past her knees; at least that's what Makoto could see. Her aqua hair blew as the car sped on.
Hotaru was wearing black jeans and a purple tank top with a sheer black button down shirt over it. On her feet were black boots.
"So why are you late?" Makoto asked coming out of her own thoughts. "We're always late. It's just fun to annoy Rei." Said Haruka.
"Haruka, behave. We lost track of time. Hotaru was napping, Haruka was playing the piano and I was painting." Michiru explained.
"I can understand about Rei. Like that one time we scared her out of her wits. Right Ruka-chan?" Makoto said, a smirk on her face.
"That was funny as hell!" Haruka yelled, as she remembered that Halloween night.
"Haruka, watch your language" Michiru disdained. The remainder of the trip was held in silence, each thinking their own thing.
As soon as Haruka pulled onto the road that held the temple a high pitched wail could be heard.
"I see Usagi-chan has just gotten to the shrine." Makoto said, sweat dropping.
"The Princess must learn responsibility." Said Michiru.
"She will learn. More than likely she will be forced to learn." Hotaru stated.
"Well we have to walk from here." Haruka said as she parked the car at the base of the steps.
The small group slowly made their way up the temple steps. As they reached the top they could see the on set of Rei and Usagi's 959th tongue war battle. Minako was cheering them on, as Ami was busy reading a book on Anatomy of The Human Body. Makoto stood on the last step with her arms crossed.
The three outer scouts slowly went around her to sit on the steps to the actual shrine. Makoto walked close enough to the two squabbling girls and cleared her throat.
"Mako-chan, where have you been? Usagi is usually the one that's late, and the outers. I can't believe you were late." Rei shouted.
Haruka just stood her ground and glared at Rei for all she was worth. Rei saw the look that meant, "Shut up and don't say something you'll regret." Come from her eyes.
"Gomen, Haruka-san." Rei said lowering her eyes.
Usagi looked up to Makoto and hugged her. "Do you have cookies? You always bring cookies." She said cheerily.
"Gomen ne, Usagi-chan. That's why I'm late. My oven blew." Makoto said rubbing her neck and smiling sheepishly.
"You're alright, correct Mako-chan." Ami asked while still reading her book.
"Hai, I caught it before anything happened." Makoto explained. "Has Setsuna-mama arrived yet?" Hotaru asked looking around.
"I'm afraid not, Firefly. Now that everyone is here she'll probably show up." Minako said.
At this a swirling portal opened and a senshi clad in purple holding a large staff came out.
"Good Morning all." Pluto said as the portal vanished.
"Pluto-mama!" Hotaru said running and hugging the senshi.
"It's good to see you as well, Hotaru." The mistress of Time beamed.
"What was this meeting all about?" asked Rei, annoyed that she seemed to forget the others were actually standing there.
"I have come to inform you of a change in the past that has effected the future. It's not dangerous to the time stream, but it changes who one of you actually are." Pluto informed.
"I thought the past was set?" asked Ami.
"Nothing in time is set in stone, but I can change things if the future outcome seems to stray too far off the coarse that was originally set." She replied, confusing those around her.
"So what is the big change?" Minako asked.
"During the resurrection of the Princesses of the Sailor Senshi, one of the senshi was born in another dimension. As time continued, we had to take that senshi out of that dimension and she now resides here in Tokyo. Because of this, we had to erase all of her memories of her past and replace them with false ones. Now since, no attacks have been happening, I talked to Kami, Former Guardian of that Dimension, and we have agreed to send her back to her family." Pluto said calmly.
"Ok, I'm confused." Usagi said trying to process the information.
"It means that one of us belongs in another dimension." Ami informed.
"She would have to leave." Usagi said sullenly.
"Why would you make her leave?" Minako asked.
"She would have to leave to become who they really are. I don't want them to be stuck here protecting me and having to concentrate on their power too." She said.
"But, Usagi-chan. You would make them leave. After all that we've been through as a group, you'd still make them leave?" Makoto asked.
"Yes." She stated firmly.
"Why?" Rei asked. "We were able to do without them before. They must learn who they truly are." She stated and crossed her arms.
"Pluto who is it?" Michiru asked, although she already knew.
"Makoto." She stated.
"Usagi, I swore to protect you. I will not leave." Makoto said firmly.
"You are to leave. You are no longer to come to the meetings, and you are no longer required to fight at my side." Usagi said sadly, swallowing thickly.
"I will not leave." Makoto stated firmly.
"You have no choice. As the future Queen I order you to go and become what you truly are." Usagi said strongly.
"You would truly kick me out of the senshi?" Makoto asked.
"Go now. Fulfill your own destiny. I shall be safe." Usagi said as she turned to go into Rei's room. Rei, Ami, and Minako followed.
"Usagi-chan." Makoto whispered.
"I can't believe she did that. She was the first friend I had here. I came here because of her." Makoto said.
The others looked to her. Pluto had a look of realization. "I had dreams...dreams of her death. I had to come here." Makoto informed. (This is why Mako came in the Manga .she had a dream that she HAD to come to Tokyo.)
"And now I'm thrown away, like nothing. I've died how many times trying to protect her?" Makoto just shook her head.
"I won't let this bother me." She said smiling.
"Take me home" She asked.
Pluto could feel the sorrow coming off of Makoto. She could feel hatred emanating from the other senshi.
"I will take you to your home dimension. There you shall be able to be a normal teenager." Pluto said.
"May, I have my memories back Setsuna-chan?"
Setsuna sighed and nodded, "Alright." She waved her hand and Makoto saw images pass by her eyes in a flash.
"You will leave today," Setsuna said. (End)
*Later that Day*
Makoto turned back to her bed and proceeded to throw her personal items into the gray bag resting on her bed. Pictures came off the walls and were placed in tissue before being thrown into her space pocket.
As she picked up a picture that had been resting on her dresser, she stared at it, eyes clouding with memories long repressed.
The photo was one that she had stared at every night before bed. There stood five figures in front of a weirdly shaped house.
One of a younger version of her, next a boy with rich black gravity defying hair and eyes he looked a year older then her, and had his arms around her shoulder and she had hers wrapped around his, then an older boy merely a toddler stood behind them hugging both of them. A woman with black hair always in a bun was positioned behind them, her head laid upon the shoulder of the man next to her, and the gentleman stood, arm wrapped around her waist, his deep black hair just as gravity defying as his son. A goofy grin painting his features, and innocent eyes that showed his emotions ever easily.
"My Family..." The words escaped her lips as a memory slid to her mind.
*Flash Back*
"BROTHER! Daddy!" Makoto frantic voice called out. "HELP!"
"Mako!!" A panicked look crossed the face of a young boy.
"You bastard if you hurt my daughter I swear you'll regret it!" a man roared in an orange suit, charging at them at full force.
"HELP! GOHAN! GOTEN! DADDY!"
Struggling against the men holding her, she watched as her eldest brother Gohan dodged the guy's attacks with ease. While her other older brother Goten was heading in her direction, but stopped by the third guy who had kicked him in the gut.
He staggered slightly, however recovered quickly. She closed her eyes for a moment, all but weeping in relief.
"Dead Scream." She closed her eyes again as it washed over her, leaving no trace of pain... on her. The men on the other hand, screamed in agony and fell down unconscious.
A tall, slender woman sauntered out of the shadows, her face tranquil and serene. The top layers of her forest green locks were held up, pulled back and tied in small medium sized bun, the rest of her hair pooling to the ground. On her forehead was a golden tiara, and in the center was a maroon colored, an oval shaped garnet was embedded into it. Her fuku was black and white with a hint of dark purple here and there. Her lower legs were encased in a pair of black knee-high boots. In her hand was a long slender staff, topped with a garnet orb.
"Pluto." The name fell from Makoto's lips and for a moment, she knew, she remembered all. A portal opened and they stepped through, vanishing in an instant.
Leaving her two brothers and father to stare where she once was, tears slipping down their now redden cheeks and a heart wrenching cry escaping their lips.
*End of Flash Back*
Pluto had set her up in her own apartment and given her a background. Makoto Son changed her name to Kino Makoto and had lived her life, her duty, and protected Serenity-Usagi. But now that duty was over.
She threw the picture in her bag and zipped it shut, eyes shimmering with tears. Her duty was over and she wanted to go home. She wanted, most of all, to find the family she'd left behind.
Her door slowly slid open five figures walked in, all of them clad in a sailor fuku.
"I didn't mean any of those things I said earlier it's just... I..." Usagi stopped, sobs overtaking her.
Makoto walked over and hugged her, "I know, I know. It's okay Bunny" Makoto mumbled repeatedly, stroking her long golden-blonde hair.
A slate haired woman stepped forward, tissue in hand, wiping away the stray tears from her eyes.
"Now just because I'm not there to watch you doesn't mean you can slack of on studying, you understand?" Ami scorned waving her finger in her face.
Makoto gave her a weak smile, "Yes, yes Ami-chan miss you too" she mumbled as Ami hugged her tightly, tears flowing ever faster.
An inky black haired woman stepped forward, "Don't be a stranger here okay. I expect to see you back here soon" Rei spoke softly her starting to water. "And if anything happens always remember we'll be here for you" Makoto nodded and hugged her companion.
Another blond advanced toward her, her powder blue eyes showing grief, she hugged her tightly. "Now if you see any cute guys I expect you to inform me right away and I'll be down there in a jiffy!" Minako exclaimed hugging Makoto who was laughing lightly by the by.
Her friends were always a weird bunch. And finally a golden haired woman walked to her crying the most, "Mako-chan you won't forget us right?" Makoto smiled, "I never would forget you guys" she said hugging her. Usagi just cried even more.
Makoto pulled away looking at her friends for the last time. Makoto gave them a weak smile.
Her voice rang out in the room, loud and clear commanding the teleporting device to activate. A faint light slowly consumed her, as she was suddenly gone with the blink of an eye.
