A Strike of Love

Recap: Sammy, After much "convincing" on Mina's part, talks Serena out of her room. But then, evil approaches, and the girls go out to stop it. Serena, on the other hand, meets Mara and goes to the shop, unaware of the evil at hand. Hakura barely saves Serena from Mara, who was being manipulated by a strange force. This is where we left it. Strange Figure: Ah... we meet face to face... again.

S. Venus: Who... what are you?

S.F.: Well, since this is your last hour, I guess you can know. I am the combination of the remains of opponents past. I hold all of their strenghts, all their experience, and none of their weakness. I am... Fusonia

S. Moon: Well, Fusonia, prepare to be defeated... again, I guess. I dunno.

Fusonia: Oh, yeah? check this out.

[Fusonia expels a purple mist headed for the Senshi. Sailor Moon quickly holds her breath and ducks, barely missing the mist. the others tried to react, but it was too late. they've already inhaled the mist. Suddenly, they enter a convulsive state and fall to the floor, seemly unconscious. Then, the Senshi get sucked into the floor.]

S. Moon: What did you do?!

Fusonia: Just a little insurance. Give me the Silver Imperium Crystal now, and they won't be harmed. Otherwise, [Suddenly the wall behind Fusonia turns like a image of a dark vortex, and the Senshi appear hanging by chains, just inches from the vortex.] Your friends will be banished forever to the Shadow Realm.

[Sailor Moon didn't know what to do. Her friends? Or the world? But then she heard a whispering...]

S. Mars: Don't do it, even for us.

S.Venus: Never give up the Silver... Don't look at us! Dissimulate!

S. Mercury: You'll have to fight to the end.

S. Moon: [sigh] You're right. [She knew they were right. She couldn't lose this battle. and this time, that counted double.] Fusonia, the answer is no.

Fusonia: [Groans] Well, if that's your choice, [extends arms]

EXPLOSIVE SLAM!

[whoosh] [stab]

[Fusonia stops her attack at the last second and she notices a red rose on its shoulder]

Fusonia: What the...? Wait...

[Both Fusonia and Sailor Moon look at the window opposite to the entrance. There was Tuxedo Mask, ducked in and ready to enter.]

S. Moon: [Happily] Tuxedo... [a little sadder] Mask.

[Tuxedo Mask jumps in and stands in front of Sailor Moon]

S. Moon: Listen, we have to talk...

T. Mask: Not now. Go help the other Senshi, I'll cover you.

S. Moon: Uhh... OK.

[Tuxedo Mask throws a spinning top to Fusonia. The monster just laughs at the stupid weapon, but before any further reaction, the top explodes, blinding Fusonia long enough for Sailor Moon to jump trough the image and set the Senshi free.]

S. Pluto: Thanks, Sailor Moon.

S. Moon: Hey, I can't do it without my friends.

[Sailor Moon returns close to tuxedo Mask, who's ready to attack and block with his cane.]

Fusonia: Enough of this annoyance, Sailor Moon. Remember this?

[Fusonia pulls out some daggers, powers them up, and successfully throws them.]

Fusonia: Die!

[Whoosh]

[Stab] [Stab] [Stab] [Stab] [Stab] [Stab]

[GASP]

[coughing]

[Gasping for air]

[THUD]

S. Mercury: No...

S. Neptune: This can't happen...

[Sailor Moon was on the floor. Her hands were stained with blood. On top of her was Tuxedo Mask. He took all the daggers in his chest. He was fatally wounded]

S. Moon: No. Tuxedo Mask. You can't die. [Crying]

T. Mask: S... S... Se... re... na. [That was all he managed to say]

S. Moon: Darien, [Crying] you can't die. You have to live. You know why? Because... because you're gonna be a daddy.

[the other senshi gasp at this revelation]

S. Jupiter: No way...

S. Moon: That's right, Darien. the day of our last date, I wasn't feeling very good. I went for a pregnancy test, and it turned out positive. You... [Crying] you're gonna be a daddy. you got to hang on

Fusonia: [groan] Argh! When, oh when will I finally be able to kill Sailor Moon?!

S. Moon: Never. [stands up]

Fusonia: Oh, so you're done there.

S. Moon: You harmed my friends. You tried to kill me. [voice breaking, trying to hold her tears] You almost killed my fiancée...

Fusonia: Oh, that's too bad. Do you want to join him?

S. Moon: ...And for that, You're gonna pay.

[After those words, an aura of energy surrounded Sailor Moon. She was trying to build up as much energy as possible.]

Fusonia: And you think I'm gonna wait until you're powered up? Think again.

[Fusonia reached for Sailor Moon to try to drain her energy. Success. However, Sailor Moon was still powering up, and Fusonia couldn't handle any more, so it let go. Then, in pure desesperation, Fusonia reached for the knife dropped earlier and swung straight for Sailor Moon's neck. But about an inch away, the knife broke. Fusonia found the Sailor Senshi, holding hands, concentrating on a protective shield on Sailor Moon. Fusonia tried stabbing Sailor Moon with what was left of the knife, but that broke, too. Getting afraid, Fusonia threw the handle at Sailor Moon. Not even a dent. Sailor Moon already had already begun using the Silver Imperium Crystal to continue building up energy. The energy was so strong it could be felt a mile away. It was so strong, the Senshi had to kneel, or they would lose balance. It was so strong, that it lifted the daggers off Tuxedo Mask's body and Sailor Moon's hair was getting itself undone. Then Sailor Moon was glowing a silverish glow.]

Fusonia: Can't let it get me, can't let it overwhelm me...

S. Moon: [taking out her staff] You've reached your end, Fusonia!

Fusonia: Oh, yeah?

[Fusonia moves its arms around its body, turning to a pale purple color. Then it makes a giant whirling energy orb on top]

S. Moon: SILVERMOON...

Fusonia: DARKNESS VORTEX!

[Fusonia's attack stuck first. a big dust cloud covered them. when the dust cleared up, Fusonia was still pale purple weak. The attack only slowed down Sailor Moon, as she was still full of energy and ready to attack. Fusonia dashed for the door, but it was locked.]

Fusonia: I'm sorry, Chaos! I have failed you!

S. Moon: SILVERMOON

CRYSTALPOWER

THERAPYKISS!< /i>

[The blast wraps Fusonia, who turns into dust, which in turn disappears due to the continuing waves of the blast. Sailor Moon finishes her attack very exhausted and de-transforms. Everybody else, including Darien, de-transforms too. Serena rushes over to where Darien is. Michiru gets to the phone and calls emergencies]

Serena: Darien? Darien, don't worry. We'll get you to a hospital soon, and you'll be fine.

[an ambulance siren wails in the distance]

Serena: [Voice breaking]You'll be fine, You'll be fine...

[In the hospital]

[Picture, please, eyes opening, looking around the room and seeing Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita and Mina.]

Raye: Welcome back.

Mara: [GASP!] It's you! You're the misterious girls that I heard about in the news, the Sailor Scouts, right? What's the deal with that? I mean...

Serena: [Talking over Mara] Lita, please.

Lita: [putting dark glasses on] Sure. [Lita transforms into Sailor Jupiter and puts her hands together] BLACKOUT!

[from outside]

Sarah: What's that light?

Robert: You know technology, it gets weirder by the minute.

[Lita de-transforms just before the light fades. Mara takes a look around the room.]

Mara: What happened?

Serena: You fainted while I was signing my cancelation of order.

Amy: You might need to take a multivitamin.

Mara: Yeah, you're right.

Mina: Well, we have to leave.

Serena: See ya later.

Mara: Later, girls. [door closes] Wait...

The cancel was not complete.

[Everybody leaves the hospital, except Serena. She goes to Darien's room, but he is not there. She starts looking around the hospital until she goes outside. There he is, looking at the horizon.]

Serena: Darien, I...

Darien: Wait. Let me talk... please. I was wrong in looking at that woman like that. I was wrong for yelling at you. I hurt your feelings, and I'm sorry.

Serena: Darien, I'm sorry too. I went overboard. I shouldn't have thrown that coffee on your pants. It's just that my parents, my pregnancy, and then that, it was all crashing down on me.

Darien: I just want to forget that, and give my best for us... for the three of us. [Serena was dropping tears at this moment. She felt better than any other moment last week.] I love you.

Serena: Oh, Darien! [Hugs Darien]

Darien: Oh! OW! OW! OW! Arm! Arm!

Serena: Aah! Sorry! [Then a thought struck her] So, is it still on?

Darien: Only if you want to.

Serena: Ok, then... see you later. [She was about to leave when something on her mind stopped her.] Uh, Darien, can you say it again?

Darien: Oh, come on, I've said it like 60 times already.

Serena: Just one more time, please?

Darien: Last one, I'm serious...

Let's get married.

[They kissed. Passionally. Like they haven't done since that morning at bed. A long, love filled kiss, like those you wish it never ended. Suddenly, Darien feels a tap on his shoulder]

Priest: excuse me. Would you mind to wait until after I officially pronounce it?

Darien: Ah? oh sorry.

Priest: Ok, then. And now, I pronounce you husband and wife. You can now kiss the bride.

[So they kiss again the same way, now for the first time in their official married life. The place was full to capacity. Among the many people attending, there was Mara, Sarah, Robert, Jimmy, Luna & Artemis(in their human forms).]

Luna: [Crying]

Artemis: Hey, what's wrong? Why are you crying?

Luna: [Crying] I always cry at weddings.

Artemis: That's it. After this, I quit.

[Everybody cheers and applause for the union of the happy couple. But then, everybody gasps and stays in shock when Serena's body glows for about a second.]

Serena: Ahhh... I felt it.

Darien: Huh?

Serena: The feeling that a new star will be born. Soon we will have our daughter, a new Sailor Scout.

[Darien Smiles]

Serena: Darien, until the day our work here is done, do you think we can protect this planet together?

Darien: Of course.

Serena: Can we live together? Forever?

Darien: I promise. We will always be together.

Serena: And I will promise you too. I will always protect you.

And I will always protect our precious friends.

[Serena: reunites with all the girls outside the church]

Serena: Darien!

Mina: Come on!

Darien: [On a reflexive state, thinking] Even someday, when we disappear, and when new Senshi are born...

Serena...

no...

Sailor Moon, you will always be invincible.

The brightest, most beautiful shining star ever.
