I hope you liked to prologue and I hope you like this chapter.

 

I recently edited this to make the setting sound more Greek/Roman and I put in more detail on the location and the girls dresses.

Serenity sat in the spaceship and looked around. Artemis was at the main control center giving orders to the crew. Luna sat silently beside the princess reading a book. Otherwise, the ship was empty. This would be her first time away from her home on the moon and she was terribly scared, even if she wasn't that far from home because the Academy was located on Earth. She closed her eyes and tried not to think about it. She imagined the palace on the moon. It's Roman style architecture, the courtyard full of roses eternally in bloom; she loved it there. Now, she had to leave it behind.

 

“Serenity, we have arrived. Wake up princess!” Luna was shaking the princess in an attempt to wake her up. Serenity slowly opened her eyes.

 

“Luna? Where…” Serenity sat up, slightly dazed and confused.

 

“You fell asleep during the trip. We're on Earth, at the Academy.”

 

“Oh yea, Sorry I'm a little sleepy.” Serenity forced a smile and stood up; brushing her gown off as she headed for the door. Luna helped the princess out of the ship as Artemis and a few crew members grabbed her bags.

 

They all walked into the academy together, Luna leading the way. Serenity actually felt a Little at peace once she got a look at the Academy. It, like her home, had Roman style architecture. The Academy though, looked older. The Moon Kingdom was a touch more…modern. Here on Earth, the Academy walls looked as if they were to just collapse at any moment. Hesitantly, Serenity followed Luna in to the main building.

 

Just inside the door there was a large group of girls Serenity's age. Artemis told the crew members to put down the bags. Serenity looked at Luna in confusion.

 

“Don't worry. From here on in, you must learn to do things for yourself. Good Luck!” Luna said as she gave the princess a small hug and walked out of the building and out of sight. Serenity just stood there, not knowing what else to do.

 

“Excuse me? Um, your new right?” Serenity turned around to face a girl in a beautiful gown. The gown was gold color and it flowed from her waist down to her ankles. A near transparent piece of fabric barely covered her chest. The girl's hair was half up in traditional roman style with a tiara pined on top. She was beautiful. Serenity looked at her own gown, white with gold trim along the top. On the chest area was a design in gold and red and it continued down the center of the dress to about her bellybutton. It was much less elegant than the girl's standing in front of her.

 

“Uh, yes I am.” Serenity finally replied.

 

“Awesome! Me too! We should be friends! Oh, this is going to be a great year! Wow your pretty, what's up with your hair though? Never seen hair like that before! It's pretty neat! How do…”

 

“Do you ever shut up?” Serenity interrupted. It was only a few seconds ago that Serenity though of this girl as a goddess; now she thought of her as just plain annoying and talkative. The girl looked hurt for a moment but seemed to get over it almost instantly.

 

“I'm Minako Aino, the Princess of Venus; other wise known as Sailor Venus, the Senshi of Love.” The girl said proudly. “And you are?”

 

“I'm Princess Serenity, of the Moon Kingdom. Do you know what's going on here? I'm tired and I just want to go to sleep…” Serenity wined as she looked around the room. The room was filled with about twenty five or so girls chatting with each other.

 

“Oh, all the new arrivals are just waiting to be sorted into our Groups. After we meet out Mentors and fellow Senshi, there is supposed to be a big announcement in the main hall that everyone must attend.” Serenity and Minako looked at the girl who had just spoken to them. She had short blue hair wore a blue gown. It was a modest dress, not showing half as much skin as Minako. The gown wrapped around the girl in a way that was quite flattering and was held in place with two silver clips on each shoulder. The girl blushed when she noticed Serenity and Minako staring at her. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am Princess Ami Mizuno from the planet Mercury.”

 

“Hello, I'm Princess Minako of Venus and this is Princess Serenity from the Moon.” Said Minako in a much more mature voice than Serenity had witnessed a few minutes before. Maybe she can be mature at times .Serenity thought to herself.

 

“Excuse me girls! Can I have your attention please?!” The three girls looked to the front of the room where a lady stood on a table trying to get everyone's attention. “We now are going to begin the intake process. Please line up in straight lines in front of those interview tables.” The announcer pointed to the other side of the room where a few tables were set up with two chairs at each. “A Staff member will conduct a quick interview and tell you all the information you need including where you are staying, your class schedule and a calendar of events for the next semester. Thank you and please be quick to line up!” Immediately all the girls in the room obeyed and lined up very quickly. Serenity was a little confused and was slow to get into the lines. She was one of the last to get interviewed.

 

“Name?” asked an older woman with long blue hair and glasses. She didn't look up at Serenity and kept her eyes on the parchment that she wrote on.

 

“Usagi Serenity Tsukino” Serenity replied back. Not many people knew her full name, and none had used her real first name, just her royal given name.

 

“Planet?” Asked the lady again, once again not looking up.

 

“The Moon.” the lady looked up with an annoyed look on her face at hearing Serenity's response.

 

“The moon of what planet, miss?”

 

“Oh, Earth” Serenity blushed in embarrassment.

 

“So you're from this solar system, correct?” The lady looked back down at her paper.

 

“Yes, I am.”

 

“Ok, that all the questions I need to ask right now. Here is you class schedule and calendar; you are in the Sagittarius - Perseus house located here.” The lady handed Serenity a map of the campus and pointed to one of the houses surrounding the Main Building. “You share these houses with your team mates; they'll explain more things to you once you get there. You think you got it? If you have any questions, you can always ask you're house leader or come ask the front desk here in the main lobby.” Serenity nodded and stood up. She waked over to where she put her things, grabbed them and headed to her new home for the next four years.

The houses differed greatly from the main buildings. They where made of brick and had three floors each. Serenity could tell that the houses where old because vines had grown up the outside walls. They were like nothing she had seen before. She had known only the Moon Kingdom before she came here. After a little walk, Serenity made it to her house. Sagittarius - Perseus was written in gold letters by the front door. She sighed and opened the door.

 

As soon as she entered the house, Serenity could feel the warmth surround her body. She put her bags down by the door where there was a pile of luggage gathered already. Serenity looked around, the entrance was empty. Then she heard voiced coming from the room next to her. Quietly she entered the room.

 

“Excuse me? Who are you?” said someone in the room. Everyone immediately stopped talking and turned to look at Serenity. At the back of the room standing up where three girls; the first girl, on the left hand side, had shoulder length, Emerald colored hair. Her gown was made up of three different shades of turquoise. The top part of the gown was a light turquoise and was quite plain. A medium turquoise fabric was raped around her shoulders and her waist. Underneath the medium turquoise was a dark turquoise fabric that flowed down to her ankles. Around her waist attaching was a silver colored belt with a Sapphire in the center.

 

The lady in the center had long dark green hair that went down to about her waist. In her hair was a maroon colored band that also matched a band going around her neck. Her gown was mostly black and strapless. A maroon colored belt was wrapped around her waist and a clip of the same color held some extra fabric up.

 

Serenity had to take a second glance at the girl on the far right. She almost couldn't believe it was a woman at first; but this was an all girls' school after all, and she did have some female characteristics. Her hair was a golden blond color and was cut into a short style. Rather than wearing a gown, she wore white flowing pants and a matching top. On top of the white shirt were gold shoulder armor and a matching gold belt. Draped over the armor was a dark blue cape. Serenity didn't even think about the four girls who sat in chairs facing the three girls at the front.

 

“Umm, I was assigned to this house; this is Sagittarius - Perseus house right?” Serenity said a little embarrassed.

 

“Yes…but all our senshi are here… Who are you?” said the girl with short blond hair.

 

“I'm Princess Serenity of the Moon kingdom” Serenity said “Oh, the moon of Earth” she added in remembering the old lady in the lobby.

 

“Oh…” said the girl with the long dark green hair. “Well, please take a seat and we can all introduce ourselves.” Serenity now looked at the girls sitting down. She recognized two of them as Ami and Minako from earlier. Serenity sat between Ami and a girl with long black hair.

 

“Ok, ill go first” said the girl with short blond hair. “I am Princess Haruka Tenou of the planet Uranus. I am also known as Sailor Uranus, the senshi of Air and Wind. I am a second year here. You all can call me Haruka”

 

“I am Princess Michiru Kaiou of the Planet Neptune,” said the girl with the Emerald hair. “I am also Sailor Neptune, the senshi of the Sea and the Ocean. I am also a second year and you can call me Michiru.”

 

“I can go next,” said the girl with the long dark green hair, “I am Princess Setsuna Meiou of the planet Pluto. I am Sailor Pluto, the senshi of Time and Revolution. I am the oldest senshi in this house, I am a third year. You all can call me Setsuna.”

 

“Can I go next!!” shouted Minako; Setsuna nodded and the blond stood up from her seat. “I am Princess Minako Aino of the planet Venus! I am Sailor Venus, senshi of love and light. This is my first year. You all can call me Minako or just Mina.” She sat back down again.

 

“I am Princess Ami Mizuno of the planet Mercury,” Said Ami as she stood from her seat. “I am also Sailor Mercury, Senshi of Water and Intellect; this is also my first year and you can call me Ami.” She too sat back down in her seat.

 

“I am Princess Rei Hino of the Planet Mars.” said the girl with long black hair. “I am the Senshi of Fire and Passion, Sailor Mars. I also am a first year and you can call me Rei.” Serenity took this time to notice her outfit. It reminded Serenity of Earth Priestesses that she read about in books while on the moon. The bottom part was white and flowed to her ankles. The top part was a rich red color and was draped over her shoulders and around her waist in an X pattern. Pulling it all together was a gold belt around her waist with a ruby in the center. In her long black hair an Indian style crown was laid with red beads strung onto it. Serenity snapped out of her gaze when Rei sat back down into her seat.

 

“I…” said a girl with brown hair “am Princess Makoto Kino of Jupiter, also known as Sailor Jupiter, Senshi of Lightning and Strength. I am a first year and you can call me Makoto or just Mako.” Serenity also looked at the gown this girl wore. It was two shades of green; a dark green bottom that started at her waist. On top of that there was a lighter green fabric draped around her waist. That same light green fabric was delicately wrapped around her neck and flowed around her chest, barely covering her. Her stomach was full exposed and she had a belly ring. It was silver with an Emerald on it. Her hair was draped with chains of silver jewelry with emeralds. Serenity felt someone watching her and lifted her gaze from the Makoto to find everyone in the room watching her. She then realized it was her turn to introducer herself and quickly stood up; blushing.

 

“I am Princess Usagi Serenity Tsukino of the Moon Kingdom. I am also Sailor Moon, the Senshi of Justice. I am a first year and you all can call me Usagi.” She sat down and the room started to full with chatting. In her mind, Serenity wondered what it was that made her feel that it was ok to tell everyone that they could call her Usagi. Her mother rarely ever called her by her real first name, never mind people she hardly even knew. Eventually Setsuna asked for everyone's attention and the room grew quiet once again. Haruka and Michiru sat down in chairs along with the other girls

 

“Ok, we must now discuss our plans for the Battle of Galaxies.” Serenity, along with the four other new girl looked to each other for ideas on what she was talking about. “Because a majority of our team is new, I will explain.” All eyes were once again on Setsuna “The Battle of Galaxies is a competition held annually at this Academy that decides which team will be the official Guardians of the year. The official Guardians have the job to protect the Universe because many senshi from all over the universe are here training. In the past 50 years there has never been a need to battle because we are at peace, but we still continue the tradition. Wining this battle is a huge honor for your team and only teams that have at least five members can compete. This team has never been able to compete since the last generation, which included your mothers. The competition starts tomorrow and lasts about a week. That's why we have a school wide meeting tonight to sign up, discuss the rules and get the competition schedule. Everyone Understand?” Everyone nodded there head. “Ok, so this meeting in adjourned, you first years can walk around and get to know the place. Me, Haruka and Michiru will be in the study upstairs. If you need anything feel free to come find us. There are no assigned rooms, so you can pick your rooms. The rules are pretty simple; One girl per room. Your room is your responsibility. Throughout the year you can do what you want to the room to make it fit you style. It will be your room for the next four years. We are lucky to have all our senshi here now, so there will be no new girls arriving for the next few years. If we have problems with anything, we will call a House Meeting. If that happens, a note will be left on your door stating the time. It will always he held in this room. Oh by the way, this is the lounge. There isn't much to do here except sit around. The room across the hall from this one is the Study. There are computers, places for you to write or do school work. There is even a built in library in there. Down the hall in the formal Dinning Hall; we hardly eat in there. Attaching to it is the kitchen and common eating area. Make your own meals with whatever is in the fridge and storage areas. Don't worry about using the last of something; home-keepers stock the food up every few days. There are bathrooms on either side of the Formal Dinning Hall. Stairs are in the hall way. There are exactly eight bedrooms upstairs; bathrooms are shared with one other room so that makes four bathrooms upstairs. There is also a small loft upstairs with some tables and a supply of board games and fun things to do. Out back is a small pool, Hot tub and things of that sort.” Serenity was blown away by all the stuff they had here. “We will call you all before we leave to go to the meeting together. You all got it?” Setsuna Confirmed. The five girls nodded as Setsuna lead Haruka and Michiru out of the room and up stairs.

 

“Wow, this place is awesome!” Shouted Mina, “What do you guys want to do first?”

 

“I want to go pick out our rooms and start unpacking.” Suggested Mako. The five girls agreed and ran upstairs giggling. For the first time Serenity felt care-free, at home and most of all, she felt like she belonged.

Tada!! Hope you liked it! I thought of the name of the house while looking at a diagram of the Milky Way galaxy and I noticed that those are the names of the two main spirals that our solar system passes through when we orbit the center of the galaxy. ^^ He-he I R So Smrt! j/k
