Starry Eyes
Haruka can't focus. She can't sleep, she can't race, all she can think about is him. What's going on? Will it ever stop? And what the hell is she going to do about Michiru? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Sailor Moon is not mine. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Haruka finally got Rei to calm down, but she was still breathing really hard.
“S-so, does M-michiru know yet?” she managed to stammer out in her shock.
“No, and it's going to stay that way, got it? It's just a dream, and it's not like it's actually going to happen. It was just distracting me in my races, and I came here to get rid of it, that's all. Now, what am I supposed to do?” Rei thought for a moment, then offered, “ Maybe you just need to, well…”
“Yeeeessss?”
“Maybe you just need to embrace it.”
Haruka jolted back. “So you want actually want me to enjoy it? How the hell am I supposed to do that? I mean it's him for goodness sakes!!”
“Not enjoy it, no, but accept it. Let it come, then pay it no mind.” Haruka stammered her agreement that it might work, and Rei offered her a room for the night, seeing as it was still raining Giraffes and Elephants out side. Haruka accepted, then retired to sleep. As Rei turned back to her room, she silently whispered, so Haruka could just barely hear, “Who knows, you just might even come to love it,” and left the room quickly before Haruka could even turn around. Haruka confused by the miko's statement just brushed it off.
“She's been reading way to many romance novels.” Then Haruka settled down to sleep herself.

Haruka slipped in the mud. She heard laughing, so she began to laugh. She laughed harder and harder until she could barely breathe. Still chuckling, she rolled over onto her side, only to come face to face with him. She looked into the dark pools of his navy blue eyes, could almost feel his silky, raven-dark hair, and found herself slipping in deeper and deeper. He turned so he was kneeling above her, and gently brought his lips to her neck. Higher, and higher they reached, until…

Tenoh Haruka jerked awake for the second time that night. Of course, when telling Rei, she had left a, a few details out of the dream, only giving her the basics, saying how she had felt, where lips had gone first, and where his hands were going the entire time. She shuddered at the thought. Remembering how she had felt in the dream, she couldn't help but recall Rei's closing statement, “…you may even come to love it.” Had she said it or him?
`NO NO NO NO NO NO NOO!' she thought vehemently.

That morning, Kaioh Michiru was pacing in front of the door worrying out of her mind. Tomoe Hotaru didn't know why her Haruka-poppa wasn't there this morning, and was also wondering where she was. Meioh Setsuna however, knew exactly where she was, but had absolutely no clue why. All three of them jolted up when they heard the front door slowly creak open.
“Where, may I ask, have you been, Tenoh Haruka!” yell a very flustered, and very overprotective Michiru.
“Gomen Nasai, Michiru-san,” Setsuna's ears perked up. “I just had some stuff to work out.” With this, the blonde senshi slowly climbed the stairs and retired to her room. A few minutes passed, and then a shocked Setsuna exclaimed, “Did she say, Michiru-san?”

Haruka lay in her room, trying to figure this flurry of feeling developing in her heart.
`NO Tenoh, don't think like that. This is not a matter of heart, just some strange occurrence of mind!' Haruka desperately fought to keep her sanity. `Oh come ON! Why am I obsessing over this, it's just a phase! Besides, I've got my Michiru, who is much better than any guy in the entire universe!' And with that thought, since the dream had constantly plagued her, she lay down to hopefully her first real sleep in two weeks. Fate couldn't have been crueler.

Higher, and higher they reached, until…they met her lips. She was engulfed in a storm of passion and warmth. She could feel her lungs screaming for air, but she ignored it. Her arms wrapped around his muscled chest, and she pressed herself up against it, triggering a reaction in her body that sent shivers down her spine and lower back. She felt his breath on her neck as he broke the kiss and went in for another, as she was trapped in his arms, absorbing her life. She turned her head, so that instead of meeting her already bruised, sot lips, his lips met again with the tender flesh of her neck. She shivered as the touch of his lips sent torrents of passion screaming through her, even more so as instead of going up…

Michiru's musings were interrupted by a high, blood-curdling scream. She raced up to Haruka's room with the others, only to find her lover lying on her back beside the bed, sheets just barely wrapped around her left leg, most of them still on the bed, trembling in what looked like a mixture of fear and rage, eyes wide open.
“H-haruka-kun?”

Haruka barely noticed the others entering the room, never saw Michiru kneeling down beside her, all she was focused on was the new part of the dream. A thousand questions came rushing though her head, questions most likely never to be answered. First, there was what had brought about this change of the dream. Second, why was it him, and not her Michiru? And, amongst many others,
“Why am I feeling this way?”

“Nani?” Haruka jolted out of her stupor, realizing the presence of the other outers, and also the fact that she had voiced the last question aloud.
“Feeling what way?” Michiru persisted. Haruka simply smiled her trademark quark and replied, “Nothing, Michi-chan!” Michiru gave her that look. You know, the THAT- DOESN'T-EXPLAIN-WHY-YOUR-LYING-ON-THE-FLOOR-LOOKING-LIKE-YOU-JUST-GOT-ATTAC KED-BY-A-FREAKING-GHOST look, but Haruka caught it and pulled on the heavy charm. Setsuna just rolled her eyes and took Hotaru back to the kitchen to finish her lunch, while Haruka continued to further draw Michiru's attention away from her predicament.
