THE FIRST TIME EVER...

FINAL NOTE: Well, I hope you have enjoyed reading my second fanfic of
Sailor Moon. I've had fun writing it throughout this
summer of 2000. I might do some short Xmas love stories
around the holidays, but right now, college classes are

Chapter 7- Happy Ending!:...We Met Again
As the vision ended, a flash of light occurred.
RETURN TO CHERRY HILL TEMPLE
Everyone collapsed on the floor, their energy spent on conjuring up
the visions of the fate of the Earth Generals. The Silver Crystal
and the malachite pieces floated to the floor, stopped glowing and
laid there. Luna and Artemis ran to each person at a time, trying to
wake them up. Except for Darien, the men stirred and awoke. As they
slowly got up, they breathed heavily, gathering their strength. Then
they turned to their loved ones who were still unconscious.
"Raye, Raye, wake up!" Jared said, frantically, shaking her gently in
his arms.
Zander lightly tapped Amy's cheek. "Something's wrong. They're not
waking up!"
"Don't worry," Luna assured them. "They're all right. They just used
up a lot of their energy."
"Then why did we recover so quickly?" Neil asked, holding an
unconscious Lita in his arms.
"Well, this is a theory," Artemis explained. "The Sailor Scouts and
Darien, as Tuxedo Mask, used their powers to fight evil for the past
five years."
"And since you four have recently started using your renewed powers,"
Luna continued, "you haven't fully regained them yet. That could be
the reason why you recovered quicker than the others."
Marcus caressed Mina's cheek as he held her unconscious form close to
him. "We failed," he whispered, but they all heard him.
"What are you talking about?" Artemis asked.
Quietly, in a sad tone, Marcus continued, "We couldn't save them. We
let the clones..." Bending his head, he shook it in frustration. "I
should have killed the clones when I had the chance, but I didn't
have time. Now I understand why I formed the malachite shield. It
was to save my own hide."
The men looked at Marcus in horror as realization settled into them.
"Marcus is right," Jared agreed silently, caressing Raye's lips with
his fingertips. "We weren't fast enough to save them."
"The entire fault is not entirely Marcus'," Zander mumbled, kissing
Amy's delicate hand as he held her. "It's ours, too."
"We weren't strong enough to escape Beryl's clutches." Neil rocked
Lita gently in his arms as if seeking forgiveness. "So we weren't
strong enough to save them."
Marcus laid Mina gently on the floor. "We didn't even try to strike
back when the clones..." He broke off, with a sob. "We're not worthy
to serve the Prince and his Princess. Or the love of our women."
The cats bend their head in sorrow as the rest of the men slowly laid
their loves on the floor. Tears streaming down their cheeks, each man
bent down and softly kissed their beloved scout's lips.
Groans from Serena and Darien alerted them that they were the first
to regain consciousness. As if in mute agreement, the former generals
stood up and quietly started to leave.
"Wait!" cried out Luna, running in front of them, with Artemis
joining her. "It is nobody's fault! What happened in the past was
destiny!"
"The girls will forgive you!" Artemis urged. "As well as Darien and
Serena!"
Marcus, Zander, Neil and Jared looked back at their slumbering soul
mates. "Maybe," Marcus finally spoke up. "But as for us, we can't
even forgive ourselves."
Stepping aside, the cats watched the men leave the temple, each going
off in one's own direction, to be alone with their thoughts and
feelings. Then they heard Serena saying, "Hey, you guys."
The cats turned to see her and Darien, sitting up. The girls were
now beginning to regain consciousness.
"What happened?" asked Serena.
As soon as everyone else was awake, Luna and Artemis explained what
happened. "We tried to stop them, but they were so full of guilt that
they kept on walking," Luna said.`
"This doesn't make any sense," Amy wondered. "It's not their fault.
The Negaverse was just so powerful, not even we scouts could beat
them."
"And it was Queen Serenity who beat the Negaverse using the Silver
Crystal," Lita offered.
"Still, I bet that they felt they could have done something at
least," Raye said, sadly. "If only we could make them understand that
it was just fate and destiny."
Dejectedly, Mina stared at the malachite pieces and the men's stones
that they left behind. As she touched the kunzite stone, it rose and
started to glow, and then the malachite pieces rose from the floor
and circulated around it.
"Everybody, look!" Mina exclaimed. "The pieces are responding to
Marcus' stone. There must be more to see! Come on, let's use our
powers again!"
"It's worth a try," Artemis encouraged. The group quickly formed the
circle again, and they all concentrated. Serena used her Silver
Crystal, and Darien's Golden Crystal reappeared and the stones and
wands floated and circled both crystals. As everyone cried out,
"Mercury Crystal Power!"
"Mars Crystal Power!"
"Jupiter Crystal Power!"
"Venus Crystal Power!"
"Golden Crystal Power!"
"Eternal Moon Power!"
...a beam flashed from the two crystals and hit the kunzite stone with
the circulating malachite pieces. A bright explosion of light flooded
within the temple.
VISION BEGINS
The battlefield came into view with the clones standing over the dead
bodies of the Sailor Scouts. A few feet away, on their knees, the
real Earth Generals stared blankly at the still forms of their loves.
Slowly, then, each general stood up. Kunzite took out the stones from
his pocket, and each stone floated to their owners. The malachite
covering disappeared, revealing Kunzite's true stone.
Using all the power in them, Kunzite, Zoicite, Nephlite, and Jedite
transferred their energy into their stones. As each gem glowed with
new magical power, the generals rushed forward to the clones,
shouting battle cries and raising the stones in their hands.
Hearing the roar of the vengeful generals, the clones turned to
attack, but the generals were quicker.
Before the clone Jedite could turn around, General Jedite stabbed him
with the stone, and it disappeared into the clone's back. The clone
froze in its spot, unable to move.
General Nephlite tackled his clone to the ground. As they struggled
to their knees, the real general stabbed his stone through the
clone's right shoulder. The stone disappeared into it, and the clone
also froze in its spot.
After punching his clone a few times, General Zoicite plunged his
stone into the clone's chest. Screaming in defeat, the clone froze
and stopped moving after the stone disappeared.
Wrestling with his clone, General Kunzite sliced through the clone's
gray uniform at his upper chest near his right shoulder, creating a
deep wound. Laughing evilly, the clone held his ground. "Even if you
defeat us, human," he said. "Beryl will revive us in strength. As
long as she knows our true stone names, Malachite, you will never
win!"
'Malachite?' Kunzite thought. Then he remembered what he did to
protect his stone, and a hopeful idea came to him. Quickly forming
the malachite covering again around his kunzite stone, he stabbed the
clone in the chest wound. As the stone disappeared and the clone
froze, Kunzite began to create a spell,
"IF YOU DO RISE AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT BE FREE.
NOT ALL STONES ARE TRUE STONES.
ONE STRIKE IN THE WEAK SPOT,
AND YOUR LIVES WILL CEASE TO BE."
Then all the Earth Generals transferred their life energy to Kunzite,
and he zapped all the energy into the clones' wound where the stones
disappeared into. Drained of all their energy, the Generals
collapsed to the ground. In the distance of the Moon Castle, they saw
the floating bodies of Prince Darien and Princess Serena, and Queen
Serenity running, crying out Serena's name.
Slowly, but determinedly, they painfully crawled to their beloved
Sailor Scouts. When they finally reached them, they laid beside them
and gathered them in their arms. As they felt their end arriving, the
Earth Generals held their loves in their arms closely.
The last thing they heard was Queen Serenity shouting,
"COSMIC MOON POWER!"
Everything went black, and a flash of light occurred.
VISION ENDS
Everyone fell to the floor, exhausted, but did not pass out. The
stones and the wands floated down to the floor and laid there. The
malachite pieces disappeared.
"Amazing!" Artemis wondered. "They marked the clones' weak spots!"
"And that was how you were able to defeat them!" Luna said, happily.
"The Generals did help and save you after all. They have given you
the advantage of defeating Beryl and the Negaverse!"
They all stood up. "We gotta find them and tell them," Lita said.
"But where are they?" Raye asked. "They could be anywhere in Tokyo."
"I've got it!" Serena yelled out, then fell forward a bit, groaning.
"Serena!" Darien caught her in his arms. "Are you OK? Your crystal
took a lot out of you."
"Yes, it did." She steadied herself. "Anyway, I want to make one more
task."
Amy placed a hand on her shoulder. "No, Serena, you need rest. You've
done so much for us already. You, too, Darien."
"Oh, please!" Serena begged. "I just want to help find them."
Hesitant, the girls looked at each other, then shook their heads.
"Thanks, Serena!" Mina said. "But we'll find them on our own. We'll
convince them how much they mean to us."
Grabbing their crystal wands, the girls ran out of the temple, each
going in different directions in search of their true loves.
Left behind, Serena and Darien and the cats stared at the four stones
that the men left behind. Then Serena spoke up, "Darien, I need your
help. I want to send these stones to Marcus, Zander, Neil and Jared
wherever they are. Once they touch these stones again, I'll send them
the vision of the true ending of their fate."
"Serena, you used up a lot of energy. I don't if you're up for
another round."
"Well, if you combine your power with mine, I might have the strength
to do it."
Sighing, Darien shook his head. "I don't know if that will be
enough."
Luna and Artemis stepped up. "Then we'll lend you our energy, too,"
Artemis offered.
"After all, with everything we have fought for, surely the girls
deserve the happiness as well as the boys," Luna said. Everyone
nodded in agreement. Serena and Darien held hands, and the cats
linked their tails together. They all concentrated.
The Silver Crystal and the Golden Crystal reappeared, and Darien and
Serena transformed into the Royal Couple. Luna's and Artemis'
crescent moons glowed on their foreheads. Then zaps of light came
from the crystals and the moons and hit the four stones. Glowing,
they all rose, and each stone flew out of the temple, seeking their
owners.
Jared walked by the river when he heard a familiar humming. He looked
up and...
Neil walked across a street bridge when he heard a familiar humming.
He looked up and...
Zander walked down a street when he heard a familiar humming. He
looked up and...
Marcus walked down a path in the park when he heard a familiar
Humming. He looked up and...
...each stone fell into their hands. A vision appeared in their minds.
As it became clear to them what really happened, smiles of happiness
appeared on all their faces. A new vision appeared showing the girls
looking for them. Each guy knew what to do to be reunited with their
soul mates. They all took off so the girls can find them.
The girls were running all over town, looking for their true loves,
when suddenly, their wands started beeping. Looking at them
curiously, they recalled how their general boyfriends found them the
first time. With new excitement, they dashed off, following the
beeping sounds of their wands.
Serena collapsed as Darien caught her in his arms. "Is she all
right?" Luna asked, worried. Serena moaned.
"She is," Darien replied, as he swung her up in his arms and started
to leave.
"Hey, where're you going?" Artemis asked. Darien turned back and
smiled.
"I'm taking her to where we first met again." As he left, the cats
looked at each other and smiled.
"Well, then, I think we should go where we first met again, too,"
Artemis suggested.
"Do you mean at that dock when you first arrived with Sailor Venus?"
Luna guessed.
Artemis nodded. "You look prettier since then, Luna."
"Oh, Artemis, you are so romantic," she purred, rubbing her nose to
his. Then they both scurried out of the temple. The moment they were
gone, Jared came running up and waited by the temple steps.
SONG BEGINS
"The first time..."
Raye arrived back at the Temple and saw Jared standing by the steps.
They smiled at each other.
"...ever we met again..."
Standing by the tree at the park, Neil turned to see Lita stopping
before him. They smiled at each other.
"...I felt the love..."
At Starlight Tower, Amy and Zander met at the same time in front of
the building. They smiled at each other.
"...we once had."
Mina stopped in front of the arcade, but no one was there. Then she
sensed someone behind her. Turning around, she faced Marcus standing
before her. They smiled at each other.
"It never disappeared..."
Raye and Jared flung into each other's arms.
Lita and Neil flung into each other's arms.
Amy and Zander flung into each other's arms.
Mina and Marcus flung into each other's arms.
"...it was always there..."
Raye and Jared then stared at each other, eyes filling with tears.
Lita and Neil then stared at each other, eyes filling with tears.
Amy and Zander then stared at each other, eyes filling with tears.
Mina and Marcus then stared at each other, eyes filling with tears.
"...and now, we will never part, my love..."
Raye and Jared kissed.
Lita and Neil kissed.
Amy and Zander kissed.
Mina and Marcus kissed.

Mina broke the kiss and looked at Marcus, lovingly. "I just want to
know one more thing. Is Marcus your real name?"
"Sort of. It's my middle name. My real name is Keith."
"Keith or Marcus, I don't care."
They held each other closely.
"The first time ever we met...

When Serena awoke, she was in Darien's arms, standing in front of
OSA*P, the jewelry store owned by Molly's mom. "Oh, Darien!" She
stared up into his handsome face.
"Finally awake, huh?" he said, as he set her down on her feet. As
she looked at the store, she turned to him and smiled happily.
"Oh, Muffin!" she cried out, flinging into his arms. "You remember
when..."
"We first met again?" Darien hugged her close and chuckled. "I could
never forget a certain meatball head who threw her test paper at me.
She did remind me of a little girl who gave me a rose when I was in
the hospital after my parents were gone."
"Well, it's hard to believe you were that sweet crying boy who grew
up to call me 'incredibly lazy'. But I thought you were cute anyway."
They held each other for a while. Then Serena spoke up. "I'm so glad
everything worked out. I want everyone to be happy. As long as they
are, I'm happy, too."
"And I'm happy when you're happy." Darien pulled her closer and
kissed her deeply. Serena snuggled closer, kissing him back.
Each couple whispered...
"I love you."
"I love you."

Marcus walked down a path in the park when he heard a familiar
Humming. He looked up and...
...each stone fell into their hands. A vision appeared in their minds.
As it became clear to them what really happened, smiles of happiness
appeared on all their faces. A new vision appeared showing the girls
looking for them. Each guy knew what to do to be reunited with their
soul mates. They all took off so the girls can find them.
The girls were running all over town, looking for their true loves,
when suddenly, their wands started beeping. Looking at them
curiously, they recalled how their general boyfriends found them the
first time. With new excitement, they dashed off, following the
beeping sounds of their wands.
Serena collapsed as Darien caught her in his arms. "Is she all
right?" Luna asked, worried. Serena moaned.
"She is," Darien replied, as he swung her up in his arms and started
to leave.
"Hey, where're you going?" Artemis asked. Darien turned back and
smiled.
"I'm taking her to where we first met again." As he left, the cats
looked at each other and smiled.
"Well, then, I think we should go where we first met again, too,"
Artemis suggested.
"Do you mean at that dock when you first arrived with Sailor Venus?"
Luna guessed.
Artemis nodded. "You look prettier since then, Luna."
"Oh, Artemis, you are so romantic," she purred, rubbing her nose to
his. Then they both scurried out of the temple. The moment they were
gone, Jared came running up and waited by the temple steps.

Raye arrived back at the Temple and saw Jared standing by the steps.
They smiled at each other.
"...ever we met again..."
Standing by the tree at the park, Neil turned to see Lita stopping
before him. They smiled at each other.
"...I felt the love..."
At Starlight Tower, Amy and Zander met at the same time in front of
the building. They smiled at each other.
"...we once had."
Mina stopped in front of the arcade, but no one was there. Then she
sensed someone behind her. Turning around, she faced Marcus standing
before her. They smiled at each other.
"It never disappeared..."
Raye and Jared flung into each other's arms.
Lita and Neil flung into each other's arms.
Amy and Zander flung into each other's arms.
Mina and Marcus flung into each other's arms.
"...it was always there..."
Raye and Jared then stared at each other, eyes filling with tears.

Mina broke the kiss and looked at Marcus, lovingly. "I just want to
know one more thing. Is Marcus your real name?"
"Sort of. It's my middle name. My real name is Keith."
"Keith or Marcus, I don't care."
They held each other closely.

When Serena awoke, she was in Darien's arms, standing in front of
OSA*P, the jewelry store owned by Molly's mom. "Oh, Darien!" She
stared up into his handsome face.
"Finally awake, huh?" he said, as he set her down on her feet. As
she looked at the store, she turned to him and smiled happily.
"Oh, Muffin!" she cried out, flinging into his arms. "You remember
when..."
"We first met again?" Darien hugged her close and chuckled. "I could
never forget a certain meatball head who threw her test paper at me.
She did remind me of a little girl who gave me a rose when I was in
the hospital after my parents were gone."
"Well, it's hard to believe you were that sweet crying boy who grew
up to call me 'incredibly lazy'. But I thought you were cute anyway."
They held each other for a while. Then Serena spoke up. "I'm so glad
everything worked out. I want everyone to be happy. As long as they
are, I'm happy, too."
"And I'm happy when you're happy." Darien pulled her closer and
kissed her deeply. Serena snuggled closer, kissing him back.
