Chapter 1
Dymier stood in the throne room of the Fortress of Abyss, gazing downward at the lands below. Lost in thought, he absently stared at the empty streets of his city, one he ruled through terror and hatred. The city that stood on the land he and his dark minions had been banished to long, long ago. The land itself was cloaked in the shadow of the enlightened Moon Kingdom, like the Angel of Death over humanity. Dymier loved this land, loved the shadows and darkness he seemed to thrive in. He relished in the fact that his minions worshiped him like a living god.
And he always felt at peace in his throne room. The room itself was his haven from his duties as the Lord of the Abyss. From its high ceilings to the black curtains, throne and other luxuries, he felt completely in control of everything.
However, there was one object in this palace of darkness that he could not touch, who did not follow his teachings of evil, or embraced the ways of darkness. It was ironic, because the one thing he could not have, the one thing he could not touch with his influence, he loved in his hardened, blackened heart. He called her Fox, for, in his mind, she was as cunning, clever, and agile as the creature itself. Not to mention her beauty and determination that rivaled that of Neo-Queen Serenity herself.
Dymier smiled at that thought. Of course she was like the Neo-Queen; it wouldn't be hard for the first princess to fill her mother's shoes.
But that will never happen, thought Dymier, I made sure of that. My Fox will never know who she really is and she'll never find out. She's the Forgotten One, a myth to her people. No one in the whole entire Moon Kingdom knows she exists. And it's all because of me.
"My Lord!" someone spoke behind him.
Dymier turned, just as his sister, Magna dropped to her knees. He took a moment before he let her back up again. He knew she was trying to show the proper respect to him. Just because she was his sister, didn't mean he had to treat her like anything special. Even if she was his twin.
"What is it Magna? What did you just HAD to tell me that couldn't wait until I was done going over my thoughts?"
" My Lord, it is time."
Dymier sucked in a breath. It was time. The time that he had been waiting for all his life since 15 years ago. The time where he will finally strike back at the Moon Kingdom.
"Thank you for telling me. Now, go find Nahargul, and lock Fox away so she won't interfere." replied Dymier.
Magna looked surprised. "Why do you want to lock her away? I thought she was your love."
Suddenly, he leaped forward and grabbed his sister by the hair. Helpless, she shrieked and tried to get away, but Dymier's hold was a deathgrip.
Enraged, he said, "Don't you ever question me again, sister. Must I remind you what I did to Yueguel?"
Magna whimpered. She remembered what her brother's tyranny did to her love. The memories of his long and agonizing execution were still fresh in her mind.
"Good. Now run along and be a good little sister for Dymier," said Dymier.
"Y-Y-Yes, my Lord," she stammered, than ran out his door.
The Lord or the Abyss went back to gazing through his throne room window, smiling at what he could accomplish in only a short while. His plans were coming along quite nicely.
