A month passed after that moment. She never looked his way again. Over the days, Seiya would look at her back and just sometimes stare at her for long periods of time. He could never get her words out of his head.

"I'll hurt you. It's best not to know me anymore."

He didn't know what she meant by that. It was tattooed in his brain from that very moment. He couldn't get her out of his mind. Yet, he could never work the courage to walk up to her. But she was right. Whenever they did have that talk, she would ruin him. She was an oddball…a loser. If he was caught with her, who knows what could happen. But lately, he started to think to himself. Then after a while, conclude that maybe he was falling for this…angel.

---

It was after school and she stayed for tutoring. She already knew the subject, it was just she had nothing to do since she was off from work for the next two weeks. The job was going through remodeling and the company was nice enough to even pay the employees even as they sat at home.

Usagi walked slowly to her locker and retrieved her shoes. Placing her school shoes inside the locker, she then sat down on the bench and tied on her other ones. In the distance, she heard footsteps come her way, but she didn't think anything of it. The footsteps got louder and then the person sat right beside her, brushing her shoulder.

---

He stayed for football practice and accomplished nothing. The offense were slacking and they were getting the shit beat out of them. Well, at least he showed up. Usually, he had to skip for rehearsals or other personal reasons he didn't want to share. Seiya started making his way to the locker room for a book he had to retrieve until he saw her. She was gingerly tying her shoe with not a care in the world. She didn't look up or around for anything. Her concentration was right on that shoe. Well, they were alone. And he was right there. He wanted her out of his mind, but at the same time, he didn't. He wanted her.

He made his way to her, and sat down as close to her as he could get. She then looked up.

"Hey there Usagi. Long time no talk…"

She smiled sweetly. "Hi Seiya. How are you?"

"I'm fine…you?"

"I'm Ok."

Usagi finished tying her shoe and placed her hands firmly beside her. "How are you doing in literature?"

"I'm hanging on. But, you know, I may need tutoring on some stuff." Slyly, he then slid his hand over hers. "Are you doing anything tonight? Maybe you could come over and help me."

Her whole body turned red at his touch. Was he hitting on her? "Um…no, I'm not doing anything."

"Great. I can take you to the apartment and you can call your parents."

"Parents…? Um, sure, at your place."

---

"We're sorry, your call did not go through. Will you please hang up and try your call again. This is a recording…"

Usagi held the receiver to her ear as she heard the woman's voice on the line. No, she didn't make any call. She didn't even dial any number. It was all a setup to make it look like she had a life with two loving parents. But, that's all history with her. And she didn't even like history…

The annoying busy tone sounded and she wanted to hang up the phone, but Seiya was right there. She couldn't just hang up and say that she left a message.

"Hi Mom, it's me. I just wanted to tell you I'm tutoring a…" she couldn't exactly say 'friend'. "…person and I just wanted to let you know." Usagi waited a few moments. "Ok thanks, love you too. Bye."

Seiya smiled and walked up behind her. "So, it's alright?"

"Yes…"

"What time do you need to be home?"

"Just in time for dinner I guess…um…tonight is my parents' night to do something together and I don't think they'd mind how late I'd stay out."

"You're right. I wouldn't want you to leave and be by yourself."

She turned around and smiled. "I appreciate that."

He looked into her lovely face and took in her features. Her skin was pale and looked soft to touch. It reminded him of the first time he laid eyes on her. Yet, here she was, looking so vulnerable. He needed this. Now he knew why Yaten brought up the subjects about relationships. Not only were you tied down to one person, it felt like bliss.

"May I just say this now…?"

Usagi blinked. "Say what?"

"You have the prettiest eyes that I have ever seen."

She blushed immensely and looked down in embarrassment. "Thank you…"

"Not only that…" Seiya placed his finger under her chin so he could talk to her eye-to-eye. "You're very pretty." he held his breath. "I mean, very beautiful."

"…" she had no words to say. She was speechless. Nothing like this was ever expected from him to her. Didn't they both agree that she would ruin him?

Slowly, she watched him lean towards her. His hand slid up to cup her cheek and his lips found his way to her chin. He planted a butterfly kiss there until he moved up and planted another one on her lips. Usagi closed her eyes and braced for whatever was about to happen.

For some time, they both just stood there kissing timidly. Nothing ever seemed forced and the blonde angel assumed wrong about the idol. He was gentle, kind, and respectful so far. They were by his bedroom and he didn't make any notion to lead her there.

But then again, she had to realize what number she was with him. And furthermore, why is she letting this happen?!

Usagi leaned back a bit and turned her head to the side. Seiya went in for more, but realized her lips weren't there anymore. Smiling a bit, he kissed her cheek and made a trail back to where they were.

Yet again, she turned away and stepped out of his embrace.

"I…I'm sorry. I need to go." She went for her books.

"No no! Wait, Usagi don't go! I'm sorry, did I rush things?" He grasped her small arms gently to prevent her from picking up her books.

"You didn't. It's just me. I can't be here!"

"Why Usagi?! Why? Why?! WHY??!!"

"I'll hurt you…Seiya."

Silent tears rolled down her porcelain face as time seemed to stop. Seiya was still confused. Maybe this all had to deal with who she was.

"Usagi, what happened? Something bad must have happened to you to make you the way you are. I know you want to be with me! And I want to be with you. Please Usagi, tell me. I want to help."

She sighed and whimpered as her whole body collapsed to the floor. Her sobs shook her small frame and her hands covered her face.

"I'm so selfish. It seemed like so long ago, yet, only yesterday. I was loud, stupid, and rude. Every time there would be something in front of me edible, I found myself eating it. All my friends, they seemed to have trouble with me. But, I knew to always be myself. Until, my…fiancé…he joked about my habits. It was then that maybe it was time for a change. For a while, I thought to myself about how I acted. Everyone had to look out for me. There was only a rare time whenever I would look out for them. So one night, I wished. I wished to be graceful, smart, and quiet. Then maybe…just maybe they will show me an ounce of respect. But they didn't like it. They didn't like my change. I wasn't the person that they knew. So then they left. All of them. My friends, family, and fiancé."

"Everyone left you?"

Usagi nodded slowly. "They didn't think that I was their Usagi. That maybe I was some impersonator. So they left looking for the real me."

"What did you wish on?"

"Shooting stars…there were three of them that night…"
