Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ The Silent Angel ❯ The One ( Chapter 5 )
She was being held against him as at the same time, she was sitting in his lap. His arms and a wool blanket was wrapped around them both on account that autumn was there. Her light golden hair was let down from its unusual hairstyle and Seiya's fingers mindlessly played in the waterfall. Usagi could hear and counted the heartbeats coming from the idol. It was comforting, and he seemed calm after all.
"So…whenever you made the call…was there was anyone on the line?"
She slowly shook her head.
"And…that's why you're so quiet. You don't want that to happen to yourself and your friends."
She slowly nodded her head.
Seiya tightly wrapped his arms around her and leaned his head into her hair. "Usagi, I'm so sorry."
"Don't be Seiya. It's not your fault. It's mine for being so selfish."
"No Usagi, that wasn't selfish. You were trying to change for them, and it was THEM that hurt you."
She sat up and looked straight into his royal blue eyes. "But I should've just stayed the same. If I did, I wouldn't be here right now. I wouldn't be alone and quiet, I would be me!"
He stayed quiet for a moment just mindlessly staring at her. "And you wouldn't have transferred and I wouldn't have met you…"
Usagi sighed and sadly smiled as she buried her head back in his chest.
"Usagi, if I told you this, would you keep it a secret?"
"Who would I tell?"
He blinked. "Heh…well, I hope you don't think I'm crazy. And if I need to prove it to you in the best way I could, I will."
"What is it Seiya?"
"I think…I was one of the shooting stars that night."
He felt a vibration on his chest. Looking down, he witnessed her head shaking back and forth. Usagi looked up at him with tearful eyes and a smile on her face. No…a laugh.
"Oh my God Seiya, you're kidding me!"
"No I'm serious, Taiki, Yaten, and I are shooting stars."
She still had that laugh on. "And the next thing you'll tell me is that you're not from earth!"
"Exactly…"
Suddenly her good mood died down. "Ok Seiya, where is this going?"
"Destiny Usagi. You wished to be different so that everyone would leave you and you could start a new life with…us per say."
Usagi's big cerulean eyes blinked constantly. "Seiya…I think that you're mind is going 100 miles a minute. Slow down a bit."
"I can't, it's just too weird. You've made such a big impact on me that I can't help but think and know it's true."
"Seiya, there are about 130 million people in Japan alone. The chances were too great, it was a matter of coincidence."
"Exactly."
She sighed again. "Seiya…"
"You still don't believe me?"
"It doesn't make sense."
"Do you believe in the Sailor Soldiers?" Seiya asked.
Those two words definitely rung a bell. What did HE know about Sailor Soldiers? He was an idol…and a MAN at that.
"W-why?"
Slowly, she watched him reach into his pocket and pull out what looked like a microphone headset.
Her eyes widened. "What is that?"
"It's my transformation headset. I'm a Sailor Soldier."
Usagi quickly got up from his lap. "No…no! You're a man! Sailor Soldiers are all women!"
Seiya stood up with her. "How do you know?!"
She froze with her mouth wide open ready to defend herself. But her defense would totally blow her cover too. Then again, tonight was the night to expose secrets, wasn't it?
"Seiya…I'm a Soldier too…"
It was his turn to be the unbeliever. "What?"
Gingerly, she took out her brooch and showed it to him. "Me…I'm Sailor Moon…"
"You're…Sailor Moon?" His eyes widened. "Then it is! It is destiny!"
"What?"
"Usagi, you're the one we've been looking for!"
