Part 3: The Scouts Visit

"What do you mean she's gone?!" exclaimed Rei. "Mina has left this dimension," explained Trista. "Pluto, you just let her leave?" asked Ami. "You really can't argue with Queen Aphrodite, Ami. Her mother sent Mina to this specific dimension to find her soul mate, and true love," replied Trista. "It's our fault; we drove her to leave. Now we may never see her again," said Lita sadly. "Pluto, do you think we could go to this dimension, and at least talk to her?" asked Serena. "I suppose I could send you, but I wouldn't expect her to come back," replied Pluto. "I know Puu, but these three owe her a major apology," said Serena as she glared at Lita, Ami, and Rei. They all looked down in shame.

Trunks and Mina spent days doing the things that normal teens do. Many of the things that Trunks never had the chance to do. Mina was so full of life, and filled the empty spot that he had felt inside of him since he had left the past.

Trunks had already gotten up, and was now inhaling his saiyan sized breakfast. After breakfast, he went to the gravity room to do some training.

Mina yawned sleepily as her eyes fluttered open. The past two months had been some of the happiest in her entire life. She had met the most handsome, charming, and caring man ever. And he was hers. She smiled to herself, and hummed to herself as she took a shower. After her shower, she got dressed and dried her hair. She went down to the kitchen to eat her morning bagel. "Good morning Mina" greeted Bulma cheerfully. "Morning Bulma," she said back.

Trunks came out of the gravity room and into the kitchen. "Morning Trunks" greeted Mina. Trunks gave her a smile that made her want to melt. He kissed her lips. "I'm going to take a shower, and I'll be down," he said as he ascended up the stairs. "K" replied Mina as she continued to talk to Bulma.

Serena, Darien, Rei, Ami, and Lita stood at the time gates with Pluto. "All right, Mina is at a place called Capsule Corp. In this dimension, time passes nearly twice as fast, so Mina has been there for about two months. I will come and get you in two weeks," said Pluto as the five of them passed through the time gates.

Trunks and Mina spent another day in west capital. They shopped and ate ice cream. Trunks fidgeted with the small ring case in his pocket. He decided that today was a good day to ask her. They finished their ice cream and sat down on a park bench to relax. It was getting close to sunset. Trunks held Mina close as they watched the beautiful colors in the sky as the sun faded.

"Mina?" asked Trunks. "Yeah?" she replied. Trunks gazed into her eyes; he loved to get lost in them. "Mina, I know we have only known each other for a couple of months, but I love you more than anything and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." he began as he took out a small royal blue ring case. He opened it to reveal a diamond ring with a sapphire and an amethyst on each side of it. Mina gasped in shock. "Mina will you marry me, and make me the happiest man on this Earth?" he asked lovingly. Happy tears brimmed her eyes. "Oh Trunks, I love you so much, of course I will," she cried happily as she threw her arms around his neck. Trunks gave her another melting smile as he slipped the ring on her finger. Trunks pulled her close and kissed her hungrily. Mina moaned with pleasure as their tongues danced together. They broke the kiss, and realized it was now dark. Trunks took Mina's hand as they took off for home.

Serena, Darien and the rest of the scouts arrived in front of the big dome with the words Capsule Corp. written across it. They rang the doorbell and waited. Bulma answered the door. "May I help you?" she asked. "Yes, we are looking for Mina Aino. We are her friends," said Serena politely. "Oh well, you may come in. Mina is out with my son right now, but they should be back soon. Make yourselves comfortable," said Bulma as she let them in. "Thank you, Ms..." replied Serena. "Bulma Briefs, but just call me Bulma," she said. "Thank you Bulma," she replied.

Mina squealed in delight as Trunks flew home with her in his arms. Trunks smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. They landed in the front yard and went inside hand in hand. "Mom, we're home!" called Trunks. He stopped and saw that his mother had company. "Good, you're home. Mina, these people came by, and said they were your friends," said Bulma. "They aren't friends, they are just here to try and get me to come back with them. But I won't go!" she yelled as she buried her face in Trunks chest. Trunks instinctively wrapped his arms around her slender form and tightened his hold. "Mina, we aren't going to make you go back if you don't want to. We just came to see how you were. You're my best friend Mina, and these bakas came to apologize to you and tell you that they have been bitches," said Serena as she glared at them. Mina pulled away from Trunks. "Mina, we are all really sorry for all the things we said," said Rei. "Yeah, Serena's right we were major bakas," replied Lita. "Well, I accept your apology, but I am not going back with you." she said as she smiled at Trunks. "Trunks this is Serena, Lita, Rei, Ami, and Darien. Everyone, this is my fiancé Trunks Briefs," she said with a big smile. Every single one of their jaws hit the floor. "OH TRUNKS! my little boy is getting married," squealed Bulma as she gave them both bear hugs. The girls and Darien were shocked, but they congratulated their friend with hugs. "Wow Mina, you really snagged yourself a hunk," said Lita eyeing Trunks. This made Trunks blush, and everyone else laugh.

The girls and Darien spent two weeks with Mina, and enjoyed getting to know Trunks. Pluto came two weeks later to get them. They arranged with Pluto to have her bring everyone to this dimension for Trunks and Mina's wedding. Mina hugged her best friend Serena, and waved to the others. She forgave the other scouts, but it would take time before they were ever the same again. Pluto and the scouts stepped through the time portal leaving Trunks and Mina. Trunks pulled her close and kissed her sweetly. Their moment was interrupted when Bulma came running out to them. "Trunks, Mina, you'll never believe what I found!" Bulma cried happily. Trunks and Mina followed Bulma to her lab to see her discovery.
