"Woman! Fix the blasted gravity machine!" yelled Vegeta. A typical morning at CC. "Vegeta! How many times do I have to say it! My name is Bulma
B-U-L-M-A! I don't have time to fix that stupid thing today! You're son is getting married tomorrow, I have too much to do, and fixing that infernal thing is not at the top of my 'things to do list'!" shouted Bulma right back in his face. Mina and Trunks sat and watched the verbal battle as they do every morning. "Woman, I do not care about this stupid earthling ritual! By saiyan standards they are already 'married'. The brat mated with the girl and saiyans mate for life, so this stupid 'wedding' is really unnecessary," bellowed Vegeta. Trunks and Mina began to turn crimson at Vegeta's bluntness. It wouldn't have been so bad if all the scouts had not been in the kitchen as well. Lita and Serena grinned slyly at Mina and Trunks, while the others pretended not to hear anything. "Well, they did it the saiyan way, now they are going to do it the human way too, so pipe down Vegeta or you'll have sleeping arrangements with the couch for the next week!" threatened Bulma. "Grrr... humph," grumbled Vegeta as he stormed out of the kitchen mumbling curses in native saiyan tongue. Bulma sighed heavily. "I really need to learn Saiya-go," she replied.
The rest of the day went along normally, or as close to normal a day at CC can get. Wedding plans were final, and the ceremony would take place in the backyard of CC at one tomorrow afternoon. The whole city knew about 'the savior of earth's wedding'. Trunks and Mina found this out the hard way, when they went shopping in downtown. One minute they were walking along peacefully together, the next they are bombarded by the paparazzi. They were trying to get photos of his bride since they had never seen her. Trunks had quickly picked her up and flew out of the city and back to CC. They had decided to wait and do some shopping on their honeymoon in Hawaii.
The day of the wedding came, and it was one of the craziest mornings ever at CC. Bulma ran around the house like a chicken with her head cut off and Vegeta yelled a lot(I guess that's not really unusual). The girls helped Mina get ready before they got themselves ready. Bulma did her make up and ChiChi did her hair. Her hair was done in twist curls with lilacs threaded into her locks. Serena applied some body glitter on Mina to compliment the dress. When Mina was finally done, the rest of the girls got ready easy enough.
In Trunks' room, the guys attempted to get a very nervous Trunks' ready. Getting Trunks ready wasn't at all as complicated as getting Mina ready. He put on his tux and sash, while Gohan handled his bow tie. Goku and the other guys got their tuxes ready, while Vegeta who had already been forced into the tux by Bulma, was leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed and a traditional scowl placed on his face.
The clock neared one and the wedding party got into position. Trunks entered escorting his crying mother to her front row seat. After Bulma was seated, Trunks took his place at the altar. He didn't recognize half the people in the audience. He recognized a few of the town's people, as well as most of the CC employees. Then he recognized Gohan's girlfriend Videl and her father Mr. Satan. The others he figured were just city people and stupid reporters wanting a story.
Vegeta entered escorting ChiChi with an indifferent expression. ChiChi sat down, and Vegeta sat next to the crying Bulma. "Woman, why are you crying?" Vegeta said in an annoyed tone. "I always cry at weddings," replied a sobbing Bulma. Vegeta grunted and mumbled something about baka women. The wedding party began to march in. Tien escorted Michele, Yamcha escorted Rei, Krillin escorted Lita, and Gohan escorted Serena. The wedding party was in position when the wedding march began to play. Mina entered escorted by Goku. Trunks was breathless as he stared at his bride. Mina's eyes sparkled and danced as walked down the aisle. Goku released her arm at the altar and she joined arms with Trunks. Mina and Trunks stood at the altar in front of the pastor. The pastor began the ceremony. Mina and Trunks exchanged vows and rings. The pastor pronounced them husband and wife. Mina and Trunks kissed sweetly and parted lips as they walked arm in arm away from the altar. Mina smiled at him. She was no longer Miss Mina Aino, now she was Mrs. Mina Briefs- 'Mrs. Trunks Briefs!' she thought happily.
The reception followed the wedding and took place in the CC ballroom. Trunks and Mina danced the first dance to a song they had claimed theirs.
'I don't need a lot of things, I can get by with nothing
With all the blessings life can bring, I've always needed something
But I've got all I want when it comes to loving you
You're my only reason, you're my only truth
I need you like water, like breath, like rain
I need you like mercy from heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms that carries me through
I need you
You're the hope that moves me to courage again, oh yea
You're the love that rescues me when the cold winds rage
And it's so amazing, cause that's just how you are
And I can't turn back now, cause you've brought me to far
I need you like water, like breath, like rain
I need you like mercy from heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms that carries me through
I need you...... Oh yes I do
I need you like water, like breath, like rain
I need you like mercy from heaven's gate
There's a freedom in your arms that carries me through
I need you...........Oh yes I do
I need you.......
I need you.......
The song ended. Mina who had been resting her head on Trunks' chest looked up and met his lips in a passionate kiss. The rest of the wedding party joined in for the next song, even Vegeta. Soon most everyone was dancing. Later on, Trunks and Mina cut the cake. Trunks fed Mina the cake carefully guiding in her mouth. Mina, on the other hand, made sure she smeared on Trunks' mouth. She kissed him and now had frosting on her mouth.
Trunks never thought he could be this happy. Even after he had destroyed the androids, he never imagined that he would meet someone as wonderful as her. Mina felt similar. She had always felt a little out of place in her in Tokyo. Now she knew it was because she belonged here with Trunks. Several hours later, the guests went home. Bulma turned on the cleaning robots and left the cleaning to them. Trunks and Mina said goodbye to the scouts as they returned back to their dimension. Bulma uncapsulated the private air jet. Trunks and Mina loaded their luggage and said goodbye to everyone. Trunks fired up the engines and set the course for Hawaii, which was only about a four-hour trip. He switched on the autopilot and went back to sit with Mina. They had finally been married and were now on their way to a two-week honeymoon in Hawaii, one of the most romantic places on earth.
AN: There it is! Trunks and Mina's wedding. Thanks for reading! The honeymoon is in the next chapter!
