Part 17: Back To Crystal Tokyo

Serena, Darien, and Rini arrived in the backyard of CC. Vegeta was the first to see them as he was coming out of the gravity room.

"Why are you here moon brats," he asked in his usual tone.

"Nice to see you too Vegeta," replied Serena sarcastically.

"Is Mina here?" asked Darien.

"She's in the house," replied Vegeta as he went in. Serena, Darien, and Rini followed him.

"Serena!" exclaimed Mina as she ran up and hugged her. "Hello Rini," Mina said. Rini said hello back, but then became interested that there were other kids her age.

"So have you just come to visit?" asked Mina.

"Actually no, we need to talk to you and Trunks. Is he home?" asked Serena.

"He will be in about a half an hour, so just make yourselves comfortable," said Mina.

Serena and Darien sat down on the couch with Mina.

"So who are the purple-haired cuties?" asked Serena.

"The one that looks exactly like Trunks is our son Brian. The purple-haired girl with my eyes is our daughter and Brian's twin sister Belle. The blue haired little girl is Bra. She's Bulma and Vegeta's daughter.

"What's your name?" asked Belle.

"I'm Rini, I 'm from crystal Tokyo," replied Rini.

"I'm Belle, my mommy is a scout. She told us all about the other dimension where she came from. This is my baka brother Brian," said Belle as she pointed to the purple-haired boy beside her.

"I'm not a baka!" yelled Brian. "Are too," "Are not," Are too," "Are not," they both fired back at each other until they heard their father come in the door. They forgot about their argument and rushed to greet him.

"Daddy!" they both called.

"Hey you two," replied Trunks cheerfully as he hugged them and ruffled their hair.

"Some people from crystal Tokyo are here daddy," said Belle as she tugged on his hand to get him to follow her. Trunks sat down on the couch next to Mina and kissed her.

"Hi honey," replied Mina.

"What brings you guys here?" asked Trunks. Serena and Darien exchanged looks and then Serena began to explain the situation. When she finished the story of the first encounter with the dark scouts, Mina and Trunks were speechless.

"Will you guys come help us defeat them?" asked Serena.

"Of course we will," replied Mina

"Yeah, and I'll see if my father, Goku, or Gohan want to come," said Trunks as he left to talk to Bulma. First thing was first, convincing his mother to let him out of work.

Bulma agreed to cover for Trunks, and Goku, Gohan and Vegeta all wanted to come.

Bulma came into the room where they were discussing things.

"Serena, the moon still exists in your dimension, doesn't it?" asked Bulma. Serena nodded her head yes.

"Well then Trunks, I want you to take this device with you," said Bulma as she handed it's capsule to him,"

"What is it mom?" asked Trunks.

"After the battle with Arctica, I realized how helpful the saiyan tail could be in a battle so I started working on this device. It's called the brute ray, and it will temporarily re-grow your tails," explained Bulma.

"Thanks mom," replied Trunks as he tucked the capsule away.

"Dad? Can I go?" asked Brian.

Trunks looked at Mina and she shook her head no.

"Please daddy?" asked Belle as she gave him big doe eyes. The same way her mother did when she wanted something. 'Man not the eyes!'

"Why don't you let them come, they can play in the palace with Rini," suggested Darien.

Trunks looked at Mina. "All right, I suppose that would be okay," said Mina.

Mina packed some things for all of them and they prepared to leave. Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta also packed a few things and were ready to leave. Serena called for Pluto and she opened the time gate. All of them stepped through the portal to crystal Tokyo.

"So the scouts of justice have some bite to go with their bark," replied the dark queen.

"Yes your majesty, we will not be caught off guard next time. We will crush the scouts!" said sailor Discordia.

"Yea, I have a score to settle with those little bitches!" yelled sailor Hela.

"Hold your temper Hela, you'll have your time with them. They will suffer before they are laid to waste. Now go prepare for your next attack," ordered the queen.

The four scouts of darkness bowed and left the queen alone.

"Your throne will be mine Queen Serenity, you can count on that," said the dark queen.

Serena and Darien were greeted by the rest of the scouts upon their arrival.

"Mina!" the scouts exclaimed as the hugged her.

"Hi girls! I want you to meet our son and daughter. This is Brian and Belle. Brian, Belle, this is Ami, Rei, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michele," introduced Mina. The scouts began to swoon over how 'adorable' the were. Brian held his cheeks to make sure that they didn't pinch them like grandma and ChiChi did sometimes.

"Come on, let's go to my room. We can play with my dolls," said Rini. Belle nodded her head and followed the seven-year-old. Brian, however, wrinkled his nose at the word 'dolls'.

"Come on Brian!" said Rini.

"I don't want to play with some dumb dolls," he replied as he crossed his arms in a very Vegeta-like manner.

"Fine, be that way!" yelled Belle as she followed Rini.

"Wow, those two sound like Serena and Rei," commented Lita who earned death glares from Serena and Rei.

The light heartedness was ended by a loud explosion and a large hole in the palace wall. The scouts, including Mina, transformed. Trunks, Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan raised their ki, but didn't transform to super saiyan. Brian stood bravely along side his father to face this threat.

The saiyans and the scouts stood before their adversaries with unwelcoming glares.

Discordia smirked. "What, no little fancy sayings and poses?" she mocked.

"I see you brought friends. No matter, my youmas should be enough to finish you off," she said. Many monsters appeared around the four scouts.

"These youmas were created by each of us and hold our powers. They aren't as strong as us, but they will be enough. There should be two for each of you to play with," she replied as the youmas attacked.

Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, and Trunks were holding up well against the powerful creatures, but the scouts were getting pummeled.

Rini and Belle huddled together inside Rini's room. Suddenly Pluto appeared.

"Princess Rini, Belle, the scouts are outnumbered. You must use your powers to help them. Rini you can already transform into sailor mini moon, but Belle doesn't have her scout powers yet," said Pluto.

"Scout powers?" asked Belle.

"Yes Belle, your mother is sailor Venus, which means you possess the ability to become sailor mini Venus. Here is your transformation pen," said Pluto as she handed her the pen. Pluto then left for the battlefield. Rini and Belle transformed and followed her.

"I think you're a little out of your league little boy," the youma mocked.

"That's what you think ugly!" yelled Brian as he screamed. This caught the saiyan attention as they heard the battle cry. Brian's hair became blond and his eyes green. 'What! He's a child for crying out loud! And only a quarter saiyan!' Vegeta thought to himself. Trunks was in awe but kept battling the youmas. He was very proud, but very surprised. He didn't think that it was possible for Brian to reach super saiyan, because he was only a quarter saiyan. Trunks had been nearly twice his age when he reached super saiyan.

However, Brian was still struggling with two youmas. They began to get the best of him again until he found them being kicked away. He looked around, expecting to see his father or grandfather. But what he saw was his sister and Rini in scout uniforms.

"What's this? Attack of the chibis?" mocked one of the youmas.

"I'm sailor mini Moon!" said Rini.

"And I'm sailor mini Venus!" said Belle.

The youmas laughed as they attacked the girls.

Discordia watched with a look of disappointment. These saiyans had defeated their youmas and were now helping the scouts and the children. Clearly they had underestimated again. It was evident that they would have to defeat them one by one. She smirked. Process of elimination was always enjoyable.

"Hela, you fight first. We are going to do this one by one.

Hela cracked her knuckles. "I think I will take on the Venus chick first, and make her husband and little darlings watch me torture her," said Hela.

"Fine Hela can go first, but I get next pick," replied Loki.

Discordia snapped her fingers and the remaining youmas disappeared.

"We will fight this one on one now. Hela will fight first, and she has chose sailor Venus as her first victim," announced Discordia.

Mina gaped, but then slowly walked to face Hela. Trunks put his hand on her shoulder and stopped her.

"I will fight you instead," he told Hela.

"No, I will fight her baka, now back down or her death will be even more painful than it's all ready going to be," replied Hela.

Mina looked into his eyes and squeezed his hand, silently telling him that she loved him. Mina walked up to Hela and now stood face to face with her.

"I am going to enjoy this, slow torture is my specialty," said Hela. Mina was silent and simply gave Hela an ice gold glare, telling her that she was in for a fight.
