True Love is Not Cliche: Mirai Trunks and Mina

Part 18: Mina vs. Hela

Hela charged at Mina full force. Mina knew that everything Trunks had taught her would come into play. She blocked Hela's fists with her forearms and flipped away from her. She used the momentum of the flip to thrust herself towards Hela. She landed a few punches, but most were blocked.

"You're going to have to do a lot better than that Venus," mocked Hela.

"I'm just getting started. You aren't married to the saiyan prince, and not know something about fighting," replied Mina. Hela smirked.

"Did you think that I have been using my full power, princess? This is just the tip of what I can really do," said Hela.

Hela spun her staff and powered up.

"Hell's fiery inferno!" she called as she twirled the staff.

Suddenly, flames surrounded Mina. She cried out as the flames engulfed her body and exploded around her.

"Mina!" cried Trunks. "Mommy!" cried Belle and Brian.

Mina's body was singed and burnt, but she found the strength to get up.

"Why don't you jus give up, you don't stand a chance against me. You're the most pitiful fighter I have ever come across," said Hela. Mina charged at her again, and round two of their fight began.

"Damn it! These bitches are stronger than I thought. Transforming into Oozaru would just be on big nuisance, and won't win against them. We need something more," said Vegeta.

"Well, we can use the brute ray anyway. Maybe having our tails will increase our power as super saiyans. Trunks is getting really mad. You know what happens when demi-saiyans get mad, they ascend," said Goku.

"All right, let's use the blasted thing, and defeat these idiots," said Vegeta.

"You know Vegeta, we could always use that technique we learned in the other world from the kai's," suggested Goku.

"No way in hell Kakarot," spat Vegeta.

"Vegeta, it could be our only hope," said Goku. Vegeta growled.

"All right baka, but only if it is completely necessary. Brats, get over here!"

Gohan pulled Trunks away from the battlefield and walked over to Goku and Vegeta.

"We have a plan guys," said Goku.

Hela kicked Mina to the ground. She began kicking Mina repeatedly in the abdomen.

"Well, looks like you're defeated. Now how should I finish you off?" said Hela. Mina groaned as fresh pain coursed through her with every kick. She was sure her rib cage was in shambles and her left ankle was beyond broke. Mina felt a metallic taste in her mouth and coughed up blood.

"Let's get on with this plan, Mina's in trouble!" demanded Trunks.

"Shut up brat! If you do this wrong, it will be a waste," growled Vegeta. Vegeta used the brute ray on Gohan and Trunks. Gohan's fury brown tail returned. A lavender tail grew from Trunks' tailbone also. The two began to power up beyond super saiyan three. Trunks' anger was fueled by the sight of his beloved being tortured relentlessly. Trunks' long golden mane began to shorten until it was just to the middle of his back. His hair turned back to lavender, and his eyes became an ice blue again. Red fur began to grow on his body. Trunks thought that he was going to transform into Oozaru form, but the transformation ended there. He looked over to see Gohan in a similar state as himself.

Super saiyan 4 Trunks and Gohan stepped into the battlefield.

"Leave her alone and fight us," said Trunks.

"I haven't finished killing her yet, but don't worry, you'll get your turn," replied Hela. Trunks snarled and then blurred behind Hela. Her grabbed a hold of her hair and pulled her head back.

"I don't think you heard me. Your fight with her is over, and you will fight me now," Trunks replied.

Hela growled as she pulled her hair from his grasp.

"Fucking bastard! You will pay! I'll tromp all over you, just like I did to your wife. And then your brats will be next," spat Hela.

"You don't know what you're dealing with," replied Trunks.

"We'll see," said Hela as she prepared for an attack.

"Hell's fiery inferno!" she called as she released the attack. The fire engulfed Trunks and exploded around him. Hela smirked as she expected to see his body broken when the smoke cleared. But when the smoke cleared, Trunks stood confident and unharmed.

"That's the best you've got?" smirked Trunks. Hela growled and charged at him. Trunks was clearly faster and began to block her punches.

"Hey Belle, do you have those senzu bean thingies that dad gave you?" asked Brian.

"Uh huh, what do you want them for?" asked Belle.

"I want to give mommy one," replied Brian impatiently.

"Okay," replied Belle as she gave him one. Brian ran up to his mother and gave her the senzu bean. A few minutes later, Mina came around.

"Are you okay mommy?" asked Brian.

"Yea, I think so sweetie," she replied as her eyes focused on the battlefield. She gasped when she saw how Trunks had changed.

"Daddy defeating her!" said Brian happily. Mina got up and walked back over near Vegeta.

"Discordia, Hela is screwing up big time. Let me take someone on. Hela doesn't look like she's going to last much longer," replied Ares. Before Discordia could respond, Gohan interrupted them.

"If you want a fight, I'll give you one," said Gohan. Ares cracked his knuckles and approached the warrior.

"All right, let's get this fight started," replied Ares as he and Gohan faced off. Gohan blocked all of Ares attacks, and he started to become very frustrated. Gohan could clearly see that Ares was no match for him, but he couldn't enjoy the fight very much, because the brute ray would be wearing off soon.

Trunks was completely bored with his fight. Hela was giving the fight everything, but Trunks was simply toying with her. He decided that it was time to end the fight, because his mother had pounded the fact that the brute ray effects didn't last more than a half-hour into their heads. Trunks powered up for an immense blast and fired it directly at Hela. Hela could only watch in horror as the blast collided with her. She screamed out in agony as the blast melted her flesh away and incinerated her body into ashes.

Gohan also grew tired of Ares and powered up for a huge kamehameha wave. He fired it at Ares and it hit directly on. Ares' body was also reduced to nothing more than ashes. Discordia and Loki gasped in surprise at how easily Ares and Hela had been defeated. Trunks and Gohan turned their attention to Discordia and Loki. "I'll warn you, Loki and I are stronger than Ares and Hela," said Discordia.

"Good, because those two were weaklings," replied Trunks. Discordia growled.

"Loki, Discordia, you have failed," said a voice behind them.

"Please, queen Valary, allow us another chance," begged Discordia.

"You may fight the scouts, I will handle these saiyans. Do not harm queen Serenity, or the two child saiyans. I will deal with the queen, and the children will make excellent warriors for us once we eliminate their parents," said Valary.

"Yes my queen," replied Discordia as she and Loki turned their attention to Mina who began to shield Belle and Brian.

Vegeta, we don't have a choice. The brute ray will be wearing off Trunks and Gohan soon. We need to use this technique to fight this Valary person," said Goku. "I told you Kakarot. No means no baka," spat Vegeta.

"Vegeta, she wants to destroy us all and take YOUR grandchildren and turn them evil. She will do the same thing that Frieza did to YOU. Do you want that fate for Brian and Belle?" asked Goku.

Vegeta sighed defeated.

"All right Kakarot, but only this once and never again!" yelled Vegeta.

"Don't worry Trunks, I'll take care of this witch. You go protect your family," said Gohan. Trunks nodded and sprinted off towards them.

Mina took their hands and began backing away from the approaching warrior. Brian broke free from his mother's hold and transformed into a super saiyan. He stepped in front of his mother and sister and prepared to defend them.

"Awe... how cute. Look Discordia, the pint-sized twerp is protecting his mommy and sister. That' so sweet," said Loki sarcastically. Discordia snickered as she took out her lance and pointed it to the boy's neck to scare him. Brian tried not to show his fear. Discordia pointed the lance at Mina and prepared to swing. Mina gasped in horror as the forked blade came towards her neck.

But just before the blade reached her neck, a hand caught it. Mina looked up only to see her husband had blocked the lance. He smiled briefly at her, before turning his attention back to Discordia. He broke the lance she held in half.

"Bakayaro! I will kill you!" she screamed as she began to fight Trunks.

Loki turned his attention to the scouts.

"He's too strong for one of us to beat single handedly, but if we combine our powers we may be able to defeat him!" called Ami. The scouts nodded as they gathered in a circle.

"Mina! We need your help!" called Serena. Mina nodded as she took the kids by the hands and led them over to the scouts and joined the circle. The scouts began glowing and Brian and Darien looked on. Eternal Sailor Moon was in the center of the circle gathering the energy.

Trunks powered up and released his father's special attack.

"Final Flash!! called Trunks as the blast engulfed Discordia. When the smoke cleared, Discordia remained, but she was incredibly weak. Trunks smirked as he drew his sword. He approached her and cleanly swiped the body into pieces and then turned her body remains into ashes with a burning attack.(I know it's kind of gross, but it's DBZ)

The scouts finished the power up and began to chant.

"Sailor Planet Attack!" they all called as they thrusted the attack at Loki. Loki screamed as the pure energy ripped through his evil body. The energy acting like acid on his skin. His flesh was incinerated and he was destroyed. Now only the queen remained.

The queen snarled as she saw her last two warriors destroyed. Gohan, however, was not fairing well, since the brute ray had now worn off. He only had enough energy left to keep himself in level 2. The queen turned her attention back to him and continued her assault until a voice interrupter her.

"Why don't you leave him alone and fight a warrior that will be a challenge to you. Probably more than you can handle," said the voice.

"And just who the hell are you?" spat the queen.

"You can call me Gogeta," replied the man. Goku and Vegeta had used the fusion technique that they had learned in the other world. They had also used the brute ray and were now in super saiyan level four.

"So let's get this fight started, if you think you stand a chance," said Gogeta.

"I don't think you know what you're dealing with," replied Valary.

"We'll see," he replied.

"Wow, did dad and Goku just become one?" asked Trunks.

"Yeah, they will be unstoppable. I'd hate to be in her shoes," replied Gohan.

Gogeta faced off with Valary. It was super saiyan strength against her sorcery. This battle would not be an easy one.
