True Love is Not Cliche: Mirai Trunks and Mina.

Part 19: The Final Battle

Gogeta launched himself at the sorceress. Valary countered with her sorcery staff. She launched an attack at him, but Gogeta swiftly avoided it and slammed his fists into her back. She growled and quickly recovered.

"You got lucky with that shot, but let's see how you do against this attack," said Valary as she proceeded to split her form into ten. Gogeta growled.

The multiple Valary's launched themselves at Gogeta. Gogeta began to block. He thought maybe Valary would be weakened by her multiple form like Tien, but they soon found themselves to be wrong. Each Valary was equally strong and began to pummel Gogeta.

"Man, this isn't looking good," said Trunks. Mina sighed and then an idea popped into her head.

"Ami! Can you use your computer to figure out which is the real Valary?" asked Ami.

"Good idea Mina, I'll try," said Ami as her blue visor appeared. She scanned the battlefield. After a few moments, she pinpointed the real Valary. Mina ran over to Ami and saw which one it was. Mina stepped closer to the battlefield.

"Venus Love Chain Encircle!" called Mina as she her love chain trapped the real Valary. Valary struggled to break free. She began sending electric energy waves through the chain and back to Mina. Mina screamed out in pain. Gogeta took the opportunity and blasted the real Valary. The real Valary fell to the ground and her counterparts were reunited with her. Trunks caught Mina in his arms before she hit the ground. Gogeta knew the brute ray would be wearing off soon. He decided to end the battle. Valary powered up for a blast as did Gogeta. Valary launched her blast at Gogeta.

"Big Bang Super Kamehameha!" called Gogeta as he launched the blast at her. The blasts collided and seared against each other. Gogeta knew he only had a few minutes left with the brute ray. He screamed and poured everything into the blast. The surprised Valary began to lose control. Gogeta's blast engulfed hers and began to eat away at her flesh. She screamed in agony. Gogeta smirked as he intensified the blast more. The blast exploded causing everyone to shield their eyes. When smoke and light cleared, the evil had been defeated. Ashes were all that remained of the nasty queen and her minions. Gogeta gulped for air. The fusion wore off and Gogeta split back into Goku and Vegeta. The scouts cheered and sighed with relief.

"See now Vegeta, wasn't it a good thing that we fused? I don't think we could have beaten her if we wouldn't have fused," said Goku in his usual upbeat tone.

"Feh, whatever Kakarot. I fused with you once. It won't happen again," replied Vegeta grumpily. Belle ran up to Vegeta and hugged his leg.

"Wow grandpa, you beat that mean lady," the little girl cheered. Vegeta softened and patted her head.

The scouts said their goodbyes as Pluto prepared to open the dimensional gateway.

"Bye Belle! I hope we get to see each other soon!" called Rini.

"Me too! Bye Rini!" replied Belle.

Trunks, Mina, Brian, Belle, Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan stepped through the dimensional portal and back to their dimension. Peace had once again been restored.

Bulma ran out to greet them. She hugged Trunks, Mina, and the kids. Then she hugged Vegeta. To everyone's surprise, Vegeta didn't complain. Life began to return to normal. Vegeta trained everyday, occasionally sparring with Goku as usual. Trunks reluctantly returned to the office. Brian and Belle reluctantly went back to school. And Mina returned to her designing, and being a mom.

Their dimension continued to enjoy the splendid era of peace. Trunks loathed the fact that his children were growing up in a peaceful world. Something that he hoped for. He never wanted his children to experience the trials he had during his childhood.

Mina slept soundly on Trunks' chest. Last night had been their eighteenth anniversary. Neither had changed in appearance and were as vibrant as they had been eighteen years ago. Mina slowly opened her eyes and gazed up at her sleeping husband. Mina pecked him on the lips and started to get out of bed, when an arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her back. She giggled and straddled his waist and began tracing her finger seductively along his chest lines. He smirked and pulled her down into a heated kiss. Mina smirked back at him as she pulled the covers back over their heads, where they continued their lovemaking.

Downstairs, a seventeen-year-old Brian inhaled his breakfast that his grandmother had prepared. Vegeta, Belle, and Bra also ate their breakfast. They all finished. Vegeta left for the gravity room and the three teens waited for their friends. It was Saturday and they were off to Satan City. Fourteen-year-old Pan and sixteen-year-old Goten arrived at CC. Brian rushed up to Pan and kissed her.

"Morning Panny," said Brian.

"Good morning Bri," she replied. Goten walked over to Belle and kissed the lavender-haired beauty's cheek. Belle giggled and kissed Goten.

Like Goten, Brian had become the spitting image of his father, while Belle resembled her mother except for her lavender hair spilling down her back. Belle wore a blue bow in her hair that matched her blue dress, which resembled the red one her cousin Bra wore. Next, a man with neatly combed, dark blue hair and coal eyes entered. "Good morning Rio!" called Bra as she hugged him.

"Morning Bra," he replied as he kissed her cheek. Rio was Tien and Lunch's son who was around the same age as Bra. Rio had inherited his mother's dark hair. He was handsome and strong. He had inherited his father's inhuman strength, but was glad that he had not inherited his father's third eye. Vegeta was not too keen on his grandchildren bonding with Kakarot's bloodline, but his son seemed to think that they couldn't do better. But one thing that he almost couldn't tolerate was his princess being with that triclops' son. It made his blood boil, but the woman wouldn't let him interfere. His daughter seemed happy, but he still didn't like the boy. He watched as the six teenagers flew off for the city. He had been training the brats yesterday. He had been amazed when his grandson had nearly beaten him. He wondered how a quarter saiyan could have so much power. He figured it had to be because his mother was also strong. But then Kakarot's grand brat had also surprised him. He smirked and took flight. Maybe mixing the bloodlines wasn't such a bad idea after all. He flew towards Goku's house. Sparring with Kakarot always relieved his stress.

"Retas u, we are approaching Namek," said a man with shoulder-length spiky hair and dark eyes.

"Good Bardock, land on Namek. Then we will claim the dragon balls and wish our father's back. Then we will use the last wish to gain immortality and then it's off to earth for revenge," Retasu said. Bardock smirked as he prepared the ship for landing.

The two being landed on new Namek and harassed the Nameks. After a fruitless battle, the Namekians summoned the dragon and agreed to translate their wishes to the dragon.

"For our first wish, I would like to wish my father, Nappa back to life," ordered Retasu. The eldest Namek chanted the wish to the dragon. The dragon's eyes glowed and the giant saiyan appeared before them. Bardock spoke next.

"For our second wish, I would like to wish my father, Radditz back to life," ordered Bardock. The dragon's eyes glowed again and Radditz appeared before them.

"And for our last wish dragon, we want you to grant all four of us immortality," ordered Retasu. The dragon's eyes glowed a final time before he disappeared. All three of their wishes had been granted.

A few weeks passed and school had finally let out for the summer. Bulma planned her annual summer get together. ChiChi was finishing the food and Bulma set the tables up. Goku and Vegeta were fighting at the grill.

"Kakarot! You're burning the steaks!" yelled Vegeta. Goku gave him a goofy grin.

"Vegeta, not everyone likes their meat raw," replied Goku.

"Fine, but don't charcoal mine," grunted Vegeta.

"Man, I really wish grandpa would let dad grill the meat," said Brian. Pan laughed. "Yea, no kidding," said Pan.

They food was finally finished and they all sat down to eat the feast. Afterward, they all relaxed on the CC lawn or held sparring matches.

Suddenly Goku and Vegeta stopped in their tracks. They looked up to the sky. Gohan and Trunks seemed puzzled for a moment, but soon were on their feet. They sensed the same thing. Four huge power levels were headed straight for CC.

"Who could it be? Two of them feel familiar, but I don't know from where," said Gohan. Trunks was stumped, while realization his Goku and Vegeta. Four men landed on the CC lawn. Eyes widened as they realized these were saiyans.

"So we meet again Vegeta," said the large, balled one.

"Nappa! I killed you! And Radditz, you were killed by the Namek!" yelled Vegeta.

"Yes, but thanks to our sons here, we were wished back," said Radditz.

"So the almighty prince settled down and had a family," said Nappa as he eyed Trunks.

"Yes, and it looks like Kakarot and Vegeta are grandfathers too," smirked Radditz.

"Image that, the prince of all saiyans has gone and tainted the royal bloodline with human blood. His brats don't even share his coloring," mocked Nappa. Trunks snarled.

"Did you come back just to get yourself killed Nappa?" smirked Vegeta.

"This time it will be me killing you prince, you see when we were wished back, we also wished for immortality," retorted Nappa. Their eyes widened. Vegeta snarled as he launched into super saiyan and threw punches at Nappa. Nappa took the punches, but was unaffected. He punched Vegeta in the stomach and sent him to the ground. Goku had the same encounter with Radditz. They approached the demi-saiyans.

"Nappa, we should take the females. They could help us begin to recultivate the saiyan race," suggested Radditz.

"Yes, good idea. The humans will make obedient slaves and the saiyan race can once again rule like we were meant to," said Nappa as the continued to approach them. Trunks and Brian launched at them only to be knocked down with hardening blows to their guts. Goten, Rio, and the rest of the males also fell to the powerful immortals. Bardock and Retasu grinned evilly as he approached Belle and Pan. The girls fought, but were swiftly knocked unconscious and thrown over the saiyans' shoulders. Radditz approached Bra and captured her as well. Nappa, seeing that the female saiyans were taken, approached Mina.

"You're not a saiyan, but I sense your not really human either.(she's actually of the Vesuvian race) You're strong and beautiful," smirked Nappa evilly as he captured Mina.

The men struggled to get up, but the four saiyans had leapt into the sky, taking the girls with them.

"Those bastards!" screamed Trunks as he pounded his fists into the ground. The rest of the guys fumed as they had also lost precious members of their families.

"We have to go after them!" yelled Goten.

"They're immortal. How are we going to defeat immortals?" asked Rio.

They all visibly paled. It was time to consult Bulma's help on this one.
