Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ Tryst ❯ Chapter 1* ( Chapter 1 )
Sadly, I do not own Gundam Wing or Sailor Moon. It's such a tragedy. [tears]
Hotaru stepped out onto her front porch and brushed her hair away from her face. It felt like an oven outside and she could see the heat slowly rise from the cement floor. She digged in her purse for her keys and locked the door. It was the heat of summer and it had never been so hot. She wore short jean shorts, Etnies, and a black spaghetti-strapped top. Her hair was so black that when the sun shone, it looked like she had purple streaks. She fanned her self with her hand as she climbed into her black corvette. Yes, Hotaru is very well off since her father is a famous scientist. She pulled out of the drive way and drove to Granzella's. It was Haruka's favorite restaurant so the group always met there. Hotaru parked as close as she could and ignored the men checking her out as she walked into the restaurant. She saw her friends and waved. Michiru was wearing a very flattering blue dress that matched her hair color perfectly. Haruka was wearing shorts and a yellow side-strapped top. Setsuna was also there and she wore her usual purple skirt and shirt. Hotaru sat down.
"Hi guys." Hotaru smiled at them. "Sorry I'm late, I woke up a little late."
Michiru smiled back. "Let's hope you're not turning into Serena on us."
The waiter walked up to the table, "Is everyone ready to order?"
Setsuna ordered first and she was acting as if she owned the place, "I'll have the Prime Rib, medium rare, and some green tea."
Hotaru smiled and thought of the best thing to say after Setsuna's performance. She spoke as if she was from the ghetto, "I'll have the Yar-Bird, burnt to a crisp, and splash a lil' tabasca' on `dat. And we'll wash all that down with some slitsmo' liqa'.
The waitress politly replied as if she hadn't noticed Hotaru's comedy, "I'm sorry I don't believe we have any slitsmore liquer."
Hotaru glanced at Setsuna and looked back at the waitress, using her ghetto voice she replied, "No slitsmo' liqa'?! How are you suppose to have a successful business is you ain't got no slitsmo' liqa'?! You ain't keepin' it real!!"
The waitress simply said, "I'll check in the back ma'am." She looked to Haruka and Michiru who were laughing at Hotaru. "Is there anything else?"
Both replied that they wanted tea and the waitress disappeared into the back of the restaurant. (Note-Haruka and Michiru are 25 and Setsuna is god knows what. Hotaru is only 21.)
Setsuna chuckled at Hotaru and commented on her performance. Hotaru looked around and noticed that she had drawn herself tons of attention. Including three hotties at the other side of the restaurant. One had dark, messy brown hair and irresistible eyes. Another one had long brown hair tied back into a braid with dark, purple eyes. The third had short, blond hair and eyes that were a blueish-gray. They were staring in her direction.
"Hotaru are you listening to me?" Haruka was now practically yelling at her.
Hotaru turned her head quickly and awoke as if from a daze, "What?"
"I asked how college was going." Haruka pointed an eyebrow at her.
Hotaru played with her hair nervously, "Great, it's just the meds. Class that I have trouble in."
"What's your grade?" Ami said as she walked into the restaurant, "I saw you guys through the window and decided to stop by."
"I have a "D"," Hotaru closed her eyes tight and expected Setsuna to shout in her hear and give her another lecture.
"How are you gonna graduate with that grade?" Michiru smiled at Hotaru.
"I'm trying…" Her voice trailed off as the waiter brought the food.
They ate their food and spoke of Hotaru grades and soon left the restaurant. But before they went Hotaru took one last look into those beautiful dark blue eyes. He stared back at her but the odd thing was, he held no emotion on his face. His eyes were so empty, it looked like no one was home and his eyes seemed so dark, like she could fall into emptiness and be lost forever.
