“Alright,” the redhead began. “ I've never liked the game mahjong.”

Hakkai sighed and drank.“ Okay, I've never dreamed in color.”

Gojyo laughed and drank. “ Hmm…I've never liked the smell of sunflowers.”

Hakkai knocked back another and thought for a second. “ I've never liked the rain.”

The redhead nodded and drank again, making a fake face as the water went down. Time to step it up a notch. “ Alright, I've never been with the same woman twice.”

Hakkai rolled his eyes and threw back another shot. “ My turn.” he winced, the liquid burning his throat on the way down. “ I've never lied about sleeping with a woman.”

Gojyo downed his, playing up the grimace after he swallowed. “ Ugh…hmm. I've never gone a week without sleeping with someone.”

Another for Hakkai. “ I've never offered myself to a complete stranger.”

Another for Gojyo. “I've never told a woman I loved her.”

Drink. “ I've never wanted to be with another woman while making love to one.”

Drink. “ I've never been with more than three women in one night.”

No drink. “ I've never been paid for sex.”

No drink. “ I've never slept with a guy.”

Drink. Wait, what? Hakkai swallowed the bitter liquid thickly and coughed. “ Didn't exactly sleep.”

Gojyo was momentarily stunned but listened as Hakkai continued. “ I've never used toys during sex.”

He knocked back another (hah!!) and chose his next words carefully. “ I've never had sex without my consent.”

Hakkai laughed sharply and downed another shot. “ Guilty as charged. Hmm…let's see. I've…never been with two women at once.” His words began to run together at the end and he played with his glass absently.

Gojyo drank again and pushed on carefully. “ I've never been raped.”

A strange smirk crossed Hakkai's face and he drank again. “ You're very good at cutting me down tonight Gojyo.”

The other man was taken aback. “ Hakkai…you were rap-”

“I've never feared being alone until now.”

Gojyo sat motionless for several second before drinking. “ I've never wanted you to explain what happened.”

“Well I've never wanted you to leave me alone so bad in my entire life.”

“Well I've never wanted to stay and help you so bad either.”

“I never wanted you to care about me other than a friend.”

“ I never wanted to risk hurting you because I'm an idiot.”

“ I never wanted you to stop sleeping with women.”

Gojyo realized their game had now turned into a confessional, him telling the truth and Hakkai lying shitless. “ I never wanted you to stop lying to me.” Okay, so that was a lie

“I never wanted to hit you so hard you couldn't speak without wires.”

Now that was a truth. Hakkai's soft eyes had turned cold and deadly and he looked at Gojyo with murderous intent.

“I never wanted you to stop being so bitchy and let me help you.” Gojyo said, watching him carefully.

“ Yeah?! Well I never wanted to hold you until the sun rose but had to sit and watch someone else take that position. I never wanted to be the only one in your bed nor did I ever want to have sex with you. I never wanted to kiss you so hard it takes your breath away or hug you the way a lover does. And I certainly never wanted to fall so deeply in love with you it hurts!”

Hakkai was standing now, his hair falling over his eyes and his breath coming in short pants as he swayed dangerously.

Gojyo stood slowly, keeping his eyes locked with the younger man's like a predator and it's prey.

“I never wanted to fall in love with you either, kai'” Another lie on his part.

A tense silence filled the gap between them and each stood motionless for several seconds. Hakkai stared angrily for a minute longer before finally opening his mouth to say something. His chance was cut off ,however, as a bottle smashed into the side of his head.

Gojyo watched wide-eyed as the brunette crumpled to the ground in a heap, leaving a swaying, angry drunk behind him. “ Make me a fool, huh…?” He slurred, gripping the broken bottle like a dagger, ready to do more damage.

Gojyo's crimson eyes darkened dangerously and he smirked. “ Oh…did you just fuck up…” he growled before lunging at the man.

After thoroughly wailing on Hakkai's assailant, the redhead knelt next to the man in question who was beginning to come around.

“ Jesus, Hakkai. Are you alright?” he asked, not too fond of the large gash over Hakkai's blind eye that was beginning to gush with torrential force.

“ Go away.” came the mumbled response.

“Come on, Hakkai. Let's get you back to the hotel, okay?”

“ Leave me alone, Gojyo.” he growled threateningly.

“ Well I'm sure as hell not leaving you here.” He reached for Hakkai's arm but it jerked away.

“ Fuck you!”

“ Aren't you precious. We'll worry about that later, princess. Now come on or I will carry you.”

Hakkai started to fight some more but his body had a better idea and he threw up the contents of his stomach, all over Gojyo's shoes.

“ Ugh…just perfect.” he muttered, swiftly catching Hakkai before he passed out. “ God, you're such a pain in the ass.” He scooped the unconscious man into his arms and stood, throwing some money on the table for the alcohol and walking back toward the hotel.
